Best Baker Ever!!
Amanda was amazing to work with! Both of our wedding cakes were amazing! We had a traditional 4 tiered cake and a cake that looked like our dogs head. Both were DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL! -

Amanda sold us at our consultation appointment! She was very professional and was able to meet all of our expectations. The cake was beautiful and delicious-- it was better than I could have imagined. She also made a cookie table for us too with mini whoopie pies, Italian wedding cookies, mini cookies, custom icing cookies, and cannoli. Additionally, we had smaller gluten free and vegan cakes too-- so the baker was very accommodating. It's a Sweet Life was an absolute Godsend because our original pastry chef from 2020 lost her business and was no longer able to service our wedding.
The only thing that I would suggest is renting a cake stand separately or making sure your venue can provide a cake stand. It's a Sweet Life requires you to deliver their cake stand back to them within 24 hours after the wedding. You could plan to have someone from the wedding party deliver it the next day for you as well. We were about to leave on our honeymoon when we were reminded of this policy. Our venue is 45 min from where we live and the bakery is another 40 min from the venue-- it was a stressful time getting it back to them. -

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding cake. It was a work of art AND it tasted amazing! Don't settle for a bland vanilla cake -- lots of flavors, fillings and icings. Wish I could go back in time and eat it all over again! -

Best Wedding Cake EVER!!
Our wedding cake was a vision. We got so many compliments on it. It was everything we envisioned and so much more. The staff was so professional and prompt. I felt like I was heard and that everything I expressed to them they completely understood. And the taste 😋 “OH, MY WORD”… Best cake ever!!! Help In the nick of time!
I am the mother of the bride that called last minute in a little panic couple of weeks before the wedding asking about your availability & praying that you were available to make us a cake for 175 people. Well, not only you were miraculously available but you delivered!!!!
Thank you for being so accommodating, so professional, flexible & such a great baker! You did an amazing job. The cake was not only exactly to what the bride wanted but very delicious! We are very picky when it comes to cakes & this one exceeded all our expectations. Guests made a point on coming to us to tell us how delicious it was.
I feel that Thank you doesn’t do justice to all that we experienced from you.
We will definitely order again in the future but this time with more time. Keep up the good work. -

Wedding cake
We used sweet life for our wedding cake and we absolutely loved it!
The cake was beyond delicious, and it was truly unlike anything i have had before at a wedding.
The custom design and pattern of the hand paining on the cake was very pretty as well.
I will definitely go back and have them again again for my other events. -

I live in FL and got married in Gainesville, GA and Amie was able to capture everything I wanted for the look of this cake without even doing a consult with me or doing a tasting. It came out exactly how we envisioned and we could not have been happier! I would chose her and the bakery to do any type of cake for me over and over again! Thanks again Amie! -

It’s a Sweet Life made our wedding perfect. Everything from the cake tasting to us cutting the cake was flawless. Amie was very responsive to all my requests and was easy to work with. They did such a wonderful job with our cake request and cupcakes. Everything was so delicious! Even our family members who aren’t really into cake enjoyed ours. The price is very affordable for everything we received. I highly recommend using It’s a Sweet Life for any event! -

Amie was absolutely amazing to work with. She was patient with my indecision, yet incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in offering options for how the end cake would end up looking like. She was very affordable and mindful of our budget, and was very prompt to deliver on the day of. 100% would work with her again for any future special occasions and she will be my top recommendation! Oh, and the cake was INCREDIBLE tasting. Most important! Flavor options were out of this world. -

She greeted us by name and had everything prepared for us upon our arrival. She was genuine, courteous and her cake tasted amazing. I had previously heard great things about A Sweet Life but when I saw our cake the day of our wedding, I was floored. It was the most beautiful and perfect cake I’d ever seen. Amie customized our cake to fit the theme our of wedding and the outcome was flawless. You would be doing yourself a disservice going anywhere else.

We were so impressed with Amie, the quality of her cake and the amazing designs she had done previously that we didn't visit another bakery. Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted and was the most delicious, moist cake I've had. My husband collects typewriters and wanted a typewriter cake. Amie had never done one but was confident and excited to take on the challenge. The typewriter was beyond anything we could have imagined and was the hit of the wedding! People thought it was real and are still talking about it. I would recommend Amie and It's a Sweet Life to anyone. In fact, my sister was so impressed that she used them for her wedding last month. Amie is so sweet and easy to work with. You will be more than pleased with this bakery.

Laura Sent on 11/16/2017Amie was wonderful. They have by far the best presentation for picking your cake flavors and icing/filling flavors. We went to many tastings and I never got over how wonderful theirs was. And I absolutely hate fondant usually but the fondant on our cake was delicious and amazing. I would recommend them to everyone I know and can't speak highly enough of them. Thank you for making our special day perfect!

After having a birthday cake made by them I knew it was a no-brainier to have them create my wedding cake. I had a Great Gatsby themed affair and wanted the cake to reflect that glitzy golden slice of time, but all within a tight budget. Amie, after listening to all of my wants and needs sent me several ideas that we could blend to create the look (and taste) that I was going for.
In addition to making my delicious brides cake she also created 90 cupcakes for my groom.
We were married in Atlanta on the Thursday of DragonCon when half the Country was descending on the city. Amie delivered, (personally) on time my cake and cupcakes and made sure everything was perfect and ready for the night.
Thank you Amie for making sure I had the Sweetest of wedding days. -

This sweet little cake shop was located in a shopping area I’d go to all the time, so when it came time for me to find a wedding cake for my wedding I knew I had to check this place out first before any other store! We worked with Amanda to create my dream cakes and she was amazing!! Everything about our appointment was professional, fun, and super exciting! She let us taste several cake flavor options to find the flavor we loved most, and created a design I found off Pinterest that looked WAY better than the picture itself! We also asked for a grooms cake that mixed both of our favorite football teams in it. Once we showed her our idea she immediately said she could pull off what our vision was for it! I was amazed with our experience, and highly recommend this cake shop to any bride looking for the sweetest wedding cake of their dreams!! -
