Beautiful and Tasty Cake!
We kept our wedding cake design simple, but it was still the most beautiful wedding cake I’ve ever seen. Better than that, it tasted amazing! We had so many flavors and fillings to choose from that we were able to offer guests a number of incredibly yummy options. We were so lucky to try one of their cakes for my bridal shower as well. This cake tasted wonderful and had a more elaborate design. It was stunning! A beautiful cake makes such a wonderful centerpiece! My husband and I highly recommend It Takes The Cake Bakery! -

Money Cake for 21st birthday
Wendy and Mark were amazing. I called other places in Erie and they all turned me down when I wanted to put money into the cake. Wendy didn't flinch when I asked and I trusted them without hesitation with the money. Thank you for making my son's 21st birthday a huge surprise with his cake. Excellent service, excellent taste, excellent price. -

It Takes the Cake did an excellent job on our gorgeous wedding cake!! As a covid bride, wedding planning was so difficult, but one thing I didn’t have to worry about at all was our cake! Wendy and Mark made it so easy when we had to postpone our wedding and kept in touch with us the whole time! Our cake was everything and more!! The fountain we wanted looked beautiful and the design was exactly what we wanted and even more stunning in person! Multiple guests commented on how delicious our cake was and it was the best cake they ever had!! You will be in great hands with Wendy and Mark!! -

Kayla Sent on 01/03/2016Wendy was awesome! I wanted a naked cake and when I contacted some other bakers in the area they were not interested in making that sort of cake. Wendy was excited to make it for us and had some some before. We got a 3 tier yellow cake with a lemon filling. At the site she used extra succulent stems that our florist provided and added them to our cake along with our cake topper. It looked and tasted fantastic! We also ordered a cake to have cut a served in the back as well, chocolate chocolate. We ordered 150 slices for a wedding of around 110 guests and we only ended up taking about 10 slices home because everyone loved the cake and some people had more than one slice. She even provides her wedding couples with a free 1st anniversary cake that why you don't have to freeze the top of your cake.
