  I couldn't ask for anyone, but Katherine/Smo/Michelle/whateverhernameis to officiate my wedding. We wrote our own ceremony, and she followed it amazingly,but when there was an unexpected glitch in the plans, she went with it and made the ceremony even more memorable than we had hoped. Katherine is amazing!

  The words, "ABSOLUTELY AMAZING", don't begin to describe our experience with the Island Wedding Services Team. THANK YOU for making our special day more memorable than we could have ever imagined. Everything exceeded our expectations!! Summer, Malachi, and Minister turned our dreams into reality. I can honestly say that fairy tales do come true. If you have ever dreamed of a unforgettable island wedding, let this amazing team of wonderful people make your dreams come true. Our ceremony was beautiful, the flowers were gorgeous, and the pictures that we have to share with family and friends are spectacular. And.... Magens Bay is not only breathtaking, but picture perfect!! The entire experience was unbelievable.   Everyone was wonderful to work with. It was amazing! We could not thank them enough for the warm and thoughtful services they provide to make our day so special. All 20 of our friends and family couldn't believe how perfect everything went. We had no cliches, which almost never happens! They maked my dreams come true getting married at Hassel Island.

  Island wedding services did an amazing job helping me with my wedding. I had never been to st Thomas and I didn't know where to begin but all I did was make the decision of WHERE I wanted the wedding (helicopter to private island) and they did everything else. They let me know exactly what paperwork I needed, how to get it, details about the flight, types of bouquet, EVERYTHING! The officiant was absolutely perfect and was all arranged by island wedding services! I highly recommend this company for all of you wedding planning needs!

  They did a wonderful job with our Island beach wedding. Reasonable pricing and always responded back to questions quickly. Great company!!!! The officiant they use is AWESOME!

  Summer,Malachi , Oliver and Katherine were all so nice and made our wedding every thing we had dreamed about.it actually rained on the day we were set to married and they were so easy and flexible!! Lindquist beach could not have been more perfect!!

  It was extremely easy to have my wedding with them. They basically did everything, i just choose a date and a location, tell them what we wanted and what we like. Boom. Done. They help us to make the best day of our life. And the price was actually very good. They surprise us whit a couple of details we forgot and they off course didn't.   We hired a photographer, Oliver, through Island Wedding Services to celebrate our pregnancy and "Baby"-moon. Island Wedding Services made some great recommendations regarding location and time and our pictures turned out just perfect! We were so impressed with his professionalism and flexibility! And, it was such a great value! This was truly the highlight of our trip to the islands and we look forward to working with this company again.

  We found Island Wedding Services online and, as I'm sure many other couples who try planning their weddings from afar and without personal references would agree, it can be a frightening prospect to entrust your most treasured moments to a total stranger. From the moment Summer began to help us put together our vision and spent countless hours responding to my every question and concern, every single worry melted away and I knew, without a doubt, that we would have our perfect, fairy tale wedding! Whether you want a nearly hands-off wedding planning process where your biggest worry is what style of wedding dress to wear or you want to put your own personal spin on every aspect, Summer and her team are a DELIGHT and make sure your visions become reality.
  
  I wanted parasols for our guests and myself, knowing the sun would be hot and uncomfortable, but the special parasol I sent to the islands for myself arrived damaged. Summer asked one of her staff to help repair it and I am so grateful to them both for their thoughtfulness! Malachi, the same gentleman, helped move my wheelchair-bound cousin around the beach, from the ceremony site to our reception area then to the catamaran where we would continue the party and made sure she was able to participate in our wedding along with everyone else. Our wedding officiant was amazing, truly such a delight, and everyone who was there or has watched our wedding video has commented on what a great personality and energy she had. Each of the other vendors Summer connected us with met or exceeded our expectations and ensured that our day was as wonderful as we dreamed it would be.
  
  I don't expect to ever have to plan my wedding again (except, perhaps, a vows renewal?!), but if I did, I would absolutely put my trust in Summer and her team again. She made me feel like anything I wanted was possible (and then worked her butt off to make it happen!). Thanks Fairy Godmother, you're the BEST!!!

  Summer took care of everything in St. Thomas for us and all our guests from transportation to the court house for our license, to Bluebeards resort for our wedding on the beach complete to photographer, use of facilities for the day to transport back to the cruise ship....the best possible experience! Will remember forever!

  Island Wedding helped us to create our dream wedding. We asked for a quite intimate ceremony in a beautiful location with photography and that is exactly what we recieved.   We would highly recommend Island Wedding Services to anyone who would like to have the perfect/romantic wedding. The “steps” on their web page explained the entire process; all the required paperwork, wedding location, minister, photographer, flowers, etc. It was a very easy, smooth process and everything was handled online! Our questions were answered promptly via e-mail (and I had a bunch of questions). We wanted a very simple wedding and we were able to select just the services we wanted – for a very reasonable price. We arrived in St. Thomas on a cruise ship and the taxi service (recommended by IWS) was waiting for us. The taxi driver was very pleasant and drove us to the courthouse to pick up our marriage license and then drove us to Bluebeard’s Beach! What a beautiful, quiet (not tons of tourists) location. The minister and photographer arrived right on time – with my bouquet in hand (an arrangement of local flowers – gorgeous!) and we were married barefoot on the beach. It was a lovely, romantic ceremony. Thank you Island Wedding Services for making our wedding day so memorable.

  Island wedding services was easy to work with. I corresponded with MaryKay via email to get everything setup. She took care of flowers, I sent a picture. And they turned out great! MaryKay guided me on what needed to be done or decided and I answered back. She was prompt via email, worked great!
  Although I never met her, she did have a wedding assistant on site but he did not communicate well. We met where they stated but no one was there for 10 min so my sister walked up to where we would walk down the aisle to ask someone. Then they lead us up to where we could stand and wait. The photographer was setup by IWS and was great he even stayed over to get a few pictures ideas we wanted! I can't wait to see the pictures! We had about 26 guests at Prett Klip Point on sapphire beach, really lovely place. My husband and I worked in St.Thomas and actually met there so we had an idea of where we wanted to be married.
  I would definitely recommend them. Makes your planning a little easier!

  Although I never met her, she did have a wedding assistant on site but he did not communicate well. We met where they stated but no one was there for 10 min so my sister walked up to where we would walk down the aisle to ask someone. Then they lead us up to where we could stand and wait. The photographer was setup by IWS and was great he even stayed over to get a few pictures ideas we wanted! I can't wait to see the pictures! We had about 26 guests at Prett Klip Point on sapphire beach, really lovely place. My husband and I worked in St.Thomas and actually met there so we had an idea of where we wanted to be married.
  I would definitely recommend them. Makes your planning a little easier!

  Poor Service

  We used Island Wedding Services for our wedding in November 2023. I should have realized that they did not have any reviews later than 2017. They were fairly inexpensive and seemed to offer what we were looking for - a simple ceremony with a beach barbecue. That was fine (not the best, but you get what you pay for). However, the photographer they hired was poor (pictures of poor quality and set up - even our photo printer shop owner thought they were just pics taken by a friend, not a professional), as was the steel pan player. There is not a lot one can do once you are there, on the beach, in the midst of your wedding, so you just have to go with the flow and enjoy the day, which we did. However, they never filed our marriage certificate with the court and when we asked about it, they fabricated a new one (not our witnesses or officiant) and filed that instead. This was a serious error in our opinion. I cannot in good conscience recommend them. There are many wedding services on St. Thomas- do your research and see if you can get recommendations. You do get what you pay for, so it may be worth it to spend a bit more for peace of mind. Still a beautiful island to get married on, but I would use a different planner.
