Highly recommend this travel company! We have never used a travel agent before and I would 100% use this company again. They booked everything including transport to and from the resort. They would’ve booked our flights as well but we had frequent flyer miles to use. This travel was for our honeymoon so it was nice to have one less thing on our plate to plan during that time. They are very quick to respond and flexible in changing whatever you want. They work within the budget you provide and don’t push for you to book one way or the other. I was always kept in the loop and I was very happy with the service!

Wonderful First Travel Agent Experience

Angel was a joy to work with. She made sure everything for our honeymoon was setup and that we knew what to expect upon arriving. She went above and beyond for us in finding a secondary resort after our initial was closed due to storm damage. Can't wait to use her again in planning our next trip.

Dream Honeymoon!

Angel helped us plan our dream honeymoon! She sent us so many destinations and resorts within our price range and even helped us reschedule when we postponed our wedding due to Covid. She made sure we were up to date on all of the travel restrictions and readily answered all of our questions. Angel helped make sure our honeymoon was flawless and helped make it the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever been on.

Excellent honeymoon!

Angel did a great job planning my wife's and my honeymoon to Thailand. She absolutely nailed the balance of adventurous excursions and relaxation time that we asked for. The excursions themselves were clearly well researched and with highly rated providers. I highly recommend letting her book your next vacation. We certainly will!

Best vacation ever!!

My husband and I wanted to honeymoon somewhere neither of us had ever been but we were overwhelmed with all of the resort options. Angel was awesome, she helped us pick Secrets Cap Cana in the Dominican and it surpassed anything we could have imagined. Angel took the time to talk to me over the phone about all our travel questions and concerns and gave us great advice for do’s and don’ts being outside of the country. We’ve never used a travel agent before and now we are sold on using Island Travel for future trips!!

Amazing Grecian Getaway

Every single detail was planned and executed perfectly. Even the recommendations of where to eat and what to see were outstanding. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the beauty of Greece without having to stress about actual travel or accommodations. Amazing Honeymoon!

Angel is an amazing travel agent and she was absolutely wonderful to work with! My husband and I had a few different ideas about where we wanted to go, but we really didn't know much about any of the places. Angel provided a so much information about each place we were looking and she really helped us narrow in on the Dominican Republic. Angel sent us several properties to look at and helped us make a decision. Our trip was absolutely wonderful and we would absolutely go back! Angel was very responsive, professional, and helpful. We would recommend her to everyone!

Wonderful to work with and ensured we got the best price!

We met Angel at a Bridal event during the wedding planning process. We had the idea of where we wanted to go for our honeymoon and Angel sent us information and pictures from the resort, which helped us confirm that was where we wanted to go. Angel was able to get us the lowest rate by price matching for us and she also arranged the private transfers, which was one less thing we had to worry about. We stayed at the Hard Rock in the DR and had the best time ever. The resort was beautiful! Food was amazing! Water was so blue and clear. We felt completely safe and would go back in a heart beat! Thanks Angel!

Professional, accountable, and goes above and beyond

There are so many incredible things that I could say about Angel, including her work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to get things right. But the one thing that will ring true more than any other is that my wedding would have never happened without her. She is so much more than a travel agent and I will be forever grateful for her help. She made our wedding a reality and was with us every step of the way.

Angel worked with us to give us the BEST honeymoon! She listened to our requests and found the most awesome resort to fit all of our needs. We ate spectacularly, were able to relax, and explore the local culture and leave the resort for an adventure.
She took care of every detail, booking flights that worked with our needs, private transportation to and from the hotel, fun excursions, and was even able to secure an upgrade to our room.
She’s easy to work with. Super knowledgeable. Exceptionally friendly. I would use her again in a heartbeat for our next vacation.

Best experience with a travel agent

When it came to our honeymoon we honestly didn’t know where to start. So I started to do my research online and came across Angel’s name for Island Travel Conpany. The reviews were amazing so I figured I’d reach out. After our first communication I knew we were in the right hands! She was so amazing and offered so many options for us and in our budget. She was able to share her own experiences at resorts so we could see what true vacations looked like. While we were on our honeymoon we had some hiccups (I got sick) and she was able to even help us while we were away and checked in on us also. I felt like we were in great hands and We couldn’t have planned our honeymoon without her help! I will use this company for all of our further vacations. I truly cannot say enough good things! But expect great things from your first communication with this company.

Angel was so great! She even helped us out while we were on our honeymoon! We were able book our excursions through her while we were away and she set everything up for us. It made our vacation so easy. She also got in touch with us when our flight back was delayed and pushed back our airport transfer.

Angel was amazing! We had a large group of 38 people in Punta Cana for our wedding celebration and she was able to accommodate everyone. She was also available the entire time for any communication I requested and was very professional. I highly recommend her services!

I can't say enough positive things about Angel and Island Travel Company! Angel has planned multiple trips for my husband and I. Each vacation has been flawless - from flights to transfers to accommodations to excursions. My husband and I just came back from an amazing vacation to Mexico. We stayed at Unico in Rivera Maya. Angel was truly an Angel! :) My husband and I wanted to go to Thailand for our honeymoon, but with our busy schedules didn't have time to do the research and planning. Angel literally took care of everything - all we had to do is tell her what we wanted. And the honeymoon was perfect - it incorporated the immersion of culture we wanted as well as the rest and relaxation. We even went to 4 destinations and all of the travel in between was smooth and easy. When we were coordinating for flights, there was an issue with our seats and she stayed on the phone with us into the evening until it was right. She was so sweet and easy to work with, we will definitely use her for our first anniversary trip!

I found Island Travel at a bridal expo I had attended and the moment I met Angel I knew she would be wonderful. I immediately contacted Angel to help plan my husband and I’s honeymoon in Greece. Not only was she wonderful in all aspects of preparing our honeymoon but she did a fantastic job with all of our accommodations, from our flights to our transportations, to our hotels. We spent 2 nights in Athens, Greece and then took a ferry over to Mykonos, Greece for 6 nights. Both of our hotels were top notch and not to mention the properties were beautiful. Never once did I ever have to worry about anything, everything was taken care of at all times. She went out of her way to provide us with a personalized list of recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants that was beyond helpful and amazing. We visited and/or ate at almost every place she recommended in both Athens and Mykonos and they were all so breathtaking.

This was my first experience working with a travel agent and I’m so grateful I found her. Our honeymoon was an absolute success and will be the most memorable trip for us and Angel will always be one to thank for that.

Angel by far is the real deal! I don’t believe I will ever plan another trip without her assistance. I highly recommend Island Travel Company for all of your travel needs.

Angel with an amazing travel planner. She's very flexible and accommodating. She gets your budget and provides various packages that fit your needs and desires . Her ability to work with you was reflected when my job required me to change Time zones for a whole month where I was 6 hrs behind . My wife said that we had one of the best vacation she's ever had and that included the hotel!

My wife and I used Angel to plan our destination wedding!! She helped us pick Punta Cana, Dominican Republic as our location and she is so knowledgeable about the area. We stayed at the Now Larimar resort and she was in contact with us and our 32 guests throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. I'm so glad we went through a travel company to arrange our honeymoon! Angel is so friendly, and she is absolutely wonderful to work with. I only had a general idea of what I wanted for our Hawaiian vacation, but from our first 30-minute phone consultation, Angel was able to get things going and got back very quickly on different options. She asked all the right questions, and she was able to arrange a trip that would leave opportunities for both relaxing and more rigorous outdoor activities. She had great suggestions, and she knew exactly which hotels to recommend based on our interests. Everything went smoothly, and we had a fantastic honeymoon! I highly recommend!

Angel was a phenomenal travel agent for our honeymoon. She gave us tremendous descriptions to multiple hotels in multiple locations after learning what type of vacation we were looking for. I've since recommended her to several people and they have been extremely pleased with what she came up with for them as well. We will definitely be using her again for our next long getaway. Our honeymoon was in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. There are hundreds of resorts and hotels to choose from there. Not only did Angel at Island Travel set us up in the nicest of all locations, she took a great deal of time working with us to get the best all inclusive, all adult package staying true to our budget. The property she steered us toward had meticulously manicured beaches, impeccably landscaped with Caribbean flora and fauna, hosted exquisite restaurants with many fine dining options - the food was fabulous!

Beyond the bullseye pick of the honeymoon spot, Angel saved the entire trip after I almost derailed our travel plans. Upon check-in at the airport, I realized I forgot my passport and there was no time to retrieve it before the plane's departure. Angel quickly got our flight rescheduled and our check-in adjusted at the resort without additional fees to rebook - saving us $2000 in all.

Once at the resort, Angel checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory and was ready to correct any issues.

Island Travel should be your travel agent no matter where your destination.

I highly recommend Island Travel to anyone! Angel was amazing to work with from the very beginning. After we confirmed the vacation package we wanted for our honeymoon at the Royalton Punta Cana Resort & Casino, she reached out again to see if we would be interested in somewhat cheaper package. It consisted of the same dates and the same resort. She went out of her way to continue to search for us even though we had already committed to a more expensive package. That's great business!
When my husband and I arrived at our resort, we had some issues, so I contacted Angel via email. She responded very promptly, reached out to the resort, and even reach out to a friend of hers that might be able to help us. Everything worked out perfectly and it was just a misunderstanding between my husband, myself, and the resort ... our crankiness from traveling could've been a part of it too. Anyways, Angel reached out to us the next day to see how everything was going and again once we got back to ask how the remainder of our trip was! Again, I highly recommend Island Travel to anyone looking for an amazing vacation, whether it be a honeymoon or a family vacation!

Angel Harris was truly my "Angel" for my wedding travel plans! She was extremely knowledgeable about the property we stayed at along with the DR itself. I knew exactly what I was getting and she helped make sure I got the best price available. She took care of all of the travel arrangements and everything went according to plan! She also was able to help me with a golf outing for my future husband and his friends which included transportation. My fiancé (now husband) and I had never booked a vacation through a travel agent before, so we were unsure of where to look! A friend of ours had recommended Angel and Island Travel Company and we could not have asked for a better travel agent and agency to book our honeymoon! Angel was so dedicated to finding a trip destination that fit our vision of what we wanted from a honeymoon, and she did not disappoint! She helped us plan the perfect honeymoon, down to the details, and accommodated our every wish! The process of deciding, then booking, then preparing for the trip could not have gone any smoother. We spoke on the phone for maybe 15-20 minutes discussing our initial vision of what we wanted in a honeymoon, and then we met with her in person for about an hour looking at possible destinations and resorts!! She was so attentive to our needs and extremely professional throughout the whole process. After we chose Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, she helped us find a resort and package within our budget! We had such a wonderful honeymoon, and we could not have planned our trip without Angel and Island Travel!! We will definitely be booking all of our future vacations and trips through Island Travel Company!

When we first started planning our honeymoon without an agent and at the last minute, we were quickly overwhelmed and didn't know where to begin. After speaking with many other local travel agents, we immediately knew that Angel's personality and travel expertise was going to help us book a monumental trip to kick-off our lives together. And boy did Angel deliver! We just got back from a 10 night, 2 resort honeymoon in beautiful St. Lucia. We honestly could not be any more happy or satisfied with our trip. Angel made everything from planning and booking the trip to transfers while on the island painless and worry free. It's nice to know you have someone, even if remote, on your side to help you with anything that you need while so far away. Angel, we cannot wait to work with you again to see where else you'll take us! Thank you!

We just returned home from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on Wednesday from a 5 night trip. We stayed at Paradisus La Pearla and everything was amazing. From the time I first I emailed Angel to returning home working with Island Travel was an awesome experience. Everything was super easy to deal with and all my questions, concerns, and request were met very quickly. I would recommend using Island Travel and Angel for any of your travel needs. I know that for any of my traveling needs I will be contacting Island Travel and telling everyone who is traveling to us them as well.

Island Travel company was so great to work with for booking our honeymoon! We worked with Angel and told her what we wanted in a honeymoon and our budget and she gave us several choices based on her experiences and sent us a very detailed online guidebook to help us make our decision. She was so knowledgeable about so many different destinations and after talking with us knew what resorts we would like best. Our honeymoon was exactly what we had in mind and she made it so easy for us to book it! She gave us several insider tips down to what type of room to book at the resort we picked and that information was so worth it! We had a perfect honeymoon that stayed right in budget. Would definitely recommend!

Island Travel is so knowledgeable about so many destinations that they provided many options is a very timely manner. The options were all so perfect and they then helped us narrow down to the best option for what we were looking for. We had an amazing trip and would use them again in a heartbeat!!

The resorts we stayed at in Hawaii were fantastic. I would highly recommend both of them. We had a great time on Maui at Honua Kai - definitely more of a family/party atmosphere and we really enjoyed finishing our stay at Mauna Kea on the Big Island - much more relaxing and off the beaten path. Everything was right on point with what we were looking for - one of the most enjoyable vacations I have ever been on.

I was referred to Island Travel through other friends that had used her services. We loved the ideas she gave us for the honeymoon since we didn't really know what we wanted; the advice we got on the time of year, length of our travel, etc was just superb. We traveled to Bonaire and absolutely loved everything she recommended about the place! We mostly corresponded through emails so it was amazing how fast she would always respond. We had no issues with anything that she did, everything was great!

This was my second vacation with island travel and I will continue to book with them for many years. Angel Mateo is an absolute angel to work with. On both trips, the budget was met and the expectations were exceeded. My girlfriend and I are looking forward to our next trip and cant wait to see what options Island Travel has for us this time!

Angel helped my husband and I plan a special birthday trip to Hawaii in February 2013. She investigated what our goals were for the trip and she was able to plan and coordinate a wonderful trip for us. Everywhere we went, the arrangements were in place. The resort that we stayed at gave us an upgraded room with a wonderful view. Our travels between islands and hotels were seamless.
We will definitely plan on using Angel's services in the future when planning our next vacation!

Angel Harris Mateo has booked us on several vacations and each trip went perfectly. Angel also call the location and wanted to know if everything met to our liking. That included a trip to London and Paris that she planned for us. As we were checking into our first Hotel in London Angel was on the phone with the manager. We felt so special!
I highly recommend Island travel . Angel is a 5 star plus travel Agent. I will never go to anyone else!

My husband and I recently were married in June and worked with, the gem of a travel agent she is, Angel, to book our romantic getaway. She recommended an adults only beautiful resort, in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico that worked with our budget. Very close to the wedding and honeymoon date we had to postpone our trip after it was completely booked and ready to go. Without hesitation Angel worked with us to get it re-booked for a later date.

Even though we were bummed we had to push the trip out and with much help from Angel it was a blessing in disguise. We just got back from our trip over the week of labor day and it was absolutely fabulous. We had never been to an all inclusive resort before and couldn't of asked for a better experience. Pure relaxation, gorgeous scenery, beautiful rooms, stunning resort. All the drinks, food and quality service one could ask for. We had both never felt more relaxed or in love in our lives. It was romantic and absolutely wonderful.

We hopped on a plane early Saturday morning, flew into Cancun, got on a private transfer van to the resort, spent 5 nights and jumped right back on on our private transfer back to the airport and home with complete ease. It was perfect, thank you Island Travel and Angel for an amazing honeymoon experience.

My husband and I have booked several trips through Angel at Island travel company and we always have the best experience! Recently Angel helped us book our hotels for our European honeymoon and we loved all of them. She was very knowledgable of all the hotels in the areas we travelled and what would be best suited for the experience we wanted. She also gave us very solid travel advice like where to go what to do and what not to waste your time on. We have booked several carribean vacations through Angel. She is so well travelled she always knows the best spots. On one of our vacations we were a little disappointed with the location of our room and right away she contacted the resort had us upgraded immediately (at no additional cost) that was fabulous!
Working with Angel is always a pleasure! She is prompt, flexible, friendly and well travelled.

Kevin and I began working with Island Travel Company back in September 2012 to help plan accommodations for our Destination Wedding in Dominican Republic. We had not been there before so selecting a resort was a bit tricky prior to working with Angel. She was very helpful in helping us narrow down resorts according to our wish list. We chose Paradisus Punta Cana. Our wedding was picture perfect and the overall accommodations at the resort fit the needs of all our guests. Angel made herself readily available to us and our guests before, during, and after our booking. Many had questions prior to leaving and Angel responded right away. We would highly recommend Island Travel Company to anyone and we will certainly use Island Travel Company in the future.

Angel made making our honeymoon reservations and booking our flights and transfers so stress free. When planning a wedding, there are so many things to worry and think about but thanks to Angel, the honeymoon was not one of them! When we arrived at our resort, they tried to put us in the wrong room even after explaining it was our honeymoon and we didn't want two beds. They told us the hotel was fully booked and they could not get our room changed. We decided to call Angel to see if we had any other option but to take the wrong room and we were so happy that we did! She made a phone call to her contact at the resort and they switched us over to the correct room. Our stay after that was so nice and relaxing. Thank you Angel!

My husband and I used Angel at Island Travel Company to help us with our honeymoon plans. Angel was absolutely AMAZING. We were so busy with planning our wedding, working full time, and a lot of other things, that we basically left it in Angel’s hands. We had a 20-30 minute initial conference call with her and she asked us the things we wanted/ didn’t want for our vacation. She came up with 4-6 great options of various places including the things we told her we wanted. Then, we reviewed her (very detailed) options and communicated a few additional times to discuss questions, etc… She was always so quick to answer our questions and she really made herself available when we had time. We were working all day so she would schedule times to talk with us late at night—which was very convenient for us. After we confirmed where we wanted to go, she basically took the reins from there and finalized everything else we needed and sent receipts, confirmations, etc… as needed. Then the morning we left for our honeymoon, on the way to the airport, we called her just to confirm a few things. She answered her phone, answered all our questions, and was very patient and kind. We had an AMAZING time on our honeymoon. We loved every single thing about the resort, location, travel plans, etc… My husband and I discuss on a monthly basis how much we want to go back. In the past I was always leery about travel agents and had the assumption that I would be paying more, but in the end, with Island Travel Company, we paid less and got a lot more! She even got us a free 90 minutes couples massage, rose petals, champagne, and strawberries!! She looks out for her clients and I can 100% honestly say that I would recommend her to ANYONE!!!

I have booked several vacations with Angel and she is such a joy to work with. I basically tell her where I want to go and what I want to do and she works her magic! My husband and I booked our honeymoon with Angel and it was the most amazing vacation we have ever been on. We were treated like king and queen from the moment we got to the resort and we were even upgraded to an ocean view room because Angel called ahead and requested this. I recently went on a trip with my mom to Ireland and Angel booked our trip from start to finish. She listened to everything that we requested and was so patient with the two of us throughout the entire process. Island Travel is who I will use to book all of my future trips and I would recommend them to anyone!

Island Travel recommended Playacar Palace for our wedding, and it turned out great! All of our 45 guests were impressed with the service. In addition, Island Travel arranged all of our transportation to and from the airport, which also turned out to be smooth and worth it.

Angel & Island Travel Company were amazing to work with! My husband and I had our destination wedding in the Dominican Republic at the Hard Rock Resort Punta Cana. This was the first time that either of us had worked with a travel agent, and Angel far surpassed our expectations. From the very beginning, Angel was extremely personable and knowledgeable. We met with one other agent at the beginning; however, we immediately trusted Angel and knew she would be the best person to guide us on our destination wedding journey. We were certainly right! Angel added many thoughtful, gracious touches to our trip that we never expected. We had the trip of a lifetime, and we owe a large part of that to Angel!

My wife and I wanted to take a trip for our anniversary/my 40th birthday. With me being indecisive about where to go and not having the time to do all of the research, Angel stepped in and took the wheel. She was very patient with me and my decisiveness and came through with multiple places/resorts for us to visit. We appreciate how thorough and responsive she is. Angel provided exceptional service for our honeymoon trip to Punta Cana. Very knowledgable not only about our resort but also most others in Punta and other destinations we were looking at. Everything was taken care of in a professional, kind and courteous manner by Angel. I would highly recommend and definitely use her again when booking travel. We had a fabulous time on our trip to Punta Cana staying at the Paradisus Palma Real with an oceanfront view and Royal Service.

My wife and I went to Mexico and found ourselves in a resort that was not as nice as advertised. We got ahold of Angel, who got ahold of the owner of the resort and before we knew it we were upgraded for free!! Having had her wedding at the same resort, Angel, provided experience and knowledge that was a step above the rest. Our wedding turned out beautiful, with little hassle and a week long of fun memories. I would do it all over again the exact same way...a destination wedding is definitely the way to go! We have worked with Angel several times in addition to our wedding, and have been extremely happy with all of our travel experiences.
