  Should be your GO TO Photographer on Mackinac Island

  Christine photographed my daugher's wedding at Mission Point Resort. Christine was always exactly where we expected her to be and orchestrated the picture taking process so perfectly. She efficiently moved guests in and out of pictures so the process did not drag out and guests were quickly able to move to cocktail hour. Downloads of the pictures were available four days after the wedding and an album was in the hands of the bride and groom only eight days after the wedding! And the pictures are STUNNING!

  Magical Day at Mackinac Island!

  Although we postponed our wedding ceremony and reception until next year due to Covid, my husband and I decided to celebrate anyway by getting dressed up and getting wedding photos taken at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and on a carriage ride around the island. Thanks to Christi Dupre at Island Photo, the day well exceeded expectations. It was an absolutely magical, romantic experience and all of the photos are gorgeous. We are thrilled. Christi guided us through the process of picking the best time of day for good lighting and best locations. She linked us up with some recommendations for carriage rides, and followed us on her bicycle taking photos during the ride itself. The photo shoot was very reasonably priced and she made good use of the time. We were also able to buy the digital album at a reasonable price and can now purchase prints through Island Photo or anywhere else we would like due to having the rights. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Thank you Island Photo!

  A Joy to Work With!

  We had the best experience with Christi and Jeff! They were so kind and we truly appreciated how flexible they were. Covid requires a lot of changing of plans! They were always happy to accommodate and help with any questions we had. Christi was truly a joy to spend the day with, and she took absolutely beautiful pictures!! Not to mention, she was great at coaching us through different poses and making sure my dress looked perfect every time. Her expertise of the island made all the difference when we took our carriage ride-she knew all the best places to go for amazing shots! Jeff did a fantastic job editing our pictures, and he sent them over to us so quickly! We wholeheartedly recommend hiring Island Photo as your photographer!

  So Grateful for Island Photo - Mackinac Island

  It was such a pleasure working with Christi and Jeffrey! Christi was the photographer for our son's wedding and the photos of their wedding day are beautiful. Christi's artistic eye captured their story and the magic of the wedding day. Christi did not miss a special moment and also took precious family and guest photos. Thank you, Christi, for capturing the treasured memories on film and doing it so beautifully! The Bride and Groom really enjoyed working with Christi and they appreciated her extensive knowledge of special places at the Grand Hotel and all around the island for beautiful photographs. The wedding guests were so impressed that Christi rode her bike, with all of her camera equipment, around Mackinac Island along with the Bride and Groom who were taking a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride. Christi took wonderful photos of the couple by island landmarks and other special locations.   Choosing Jeff and Christi to shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. We couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism we received at our wedding and reception last month. We worried we had not done enough to prepare a shot list for the two them, but when the big day arrived their experience more than covered for our misstep. The results we received were out of this world! They captured memories that will last a lifetime, and we're forever grateful. If you're having wedding or engagement photos done on Mackinac Island, then Jeff and Christi the best choice.

  If you are planning a wedding or vow renewal on Mackinac Island, Island Photo is the way to go. They know all of the gorgeous, breathtaking spots on the island and take amazing photos. Christi followed us on her bike as we took our carriage ride to and from the church, she knows exactly where to stop for beautiful photos, and set our mind at ease. There were times she was taking photos and we didn’t even realize it, making great candid shots! Also, our photos were available very quickly and we were so pleased with them in every regard.

  From the first day that I contacted him, he was incredibly easy to work with. He immediately responded to my first email, sent detailed photo packages and prices, and confirmed quickly. During the wedding planning process, he gave me some smart input on timing around the church, carriages, and family photos, which worked wonderfully. I think that shows his experience with Mackinac Island venues.
  He brought in a second photographer to help on the wedding day. He arrived a bit early and stayed a little late to make sure he shot photos of the formal dances at the ceremony. He took extra time with us to capture such joyful, loving moments with my husband, our family, and friends. His work was even better than I expected. We were able to view the images online just two days after the wedding and received our proof book (with all images!) and CD about 10 days after the wedding. It's incredible to look back at his wonderful photos. I'm not normally someone who gets sentimental about photos but I seriously smile every time I see our proof book. Jeffrey made our wedding day look as lovely and glowy as I remember feeling, if not more so!
