Laurie and her team were amazing from start to finish. Laurie is amazing at communicating and following through. We found many vendors in the keys that worked on a much slower laid-back pace that was not what we were looking for. Lori got in asked great questions and got our vision quickly. She came up with a proposal that was fair and ended up creating a beautiful event for our daughter. Highly recommend Laurie and her crew. -

Lori with Island Blooms created the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen for our wedding at Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada. She took our vision of what we wanted and brought it to life! We planned a small destination wedding and we’re just in need of a bouquet and boutonnière. We made a trip down about 6 months in advance to finalize some details. We stopped by several florist in the keys, stopped at some nursery’s and grocery stores to entertain making our own arrangements.. and we landed on Island Blooms. They do not have a store front but after some Facebook research, I messaged Lori.
She was professional, incredible to work with, and so kind.
I had requested, just one, white king protea. She explained that they can be hard to find, when she can order them they normally have to be ordered in lots of 12, and they are pricey per stem. She assured me though, that no matter the outcome, I would LOVE my bouquet. Most of our communication was by email and payment was simple.
Fast forward to wedding day- we touched base that morning and she set a time to deliver to our venue bridal suite. Our photographer had already cancelled, we were traveling with 5 kids, and around 40 of our friends and family had flown on over the past few days.. so that last thing on my mind was ‘Hey Lori, What’s my bouquet look like?’ I had pretty much decided ahead of time that my bouquet would be roses and orchids and it would be fine.
We were getting ready and here came Lori.. with the most beautiful bouquet.. and a WHITE KING PROTEA in the middle!! I cried, and thanked her for testing my wedding makeup ahead of time. She went on to tell me that she has found my flower That Morning in MIAMI at a flower market. I was BLOWN AWAY that she did this for me.
My bouquet was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. It withstood the heat, wedding pictures, the reception, and was still a beautiful centerpiece of our kitchen the remainder of the vacation week. I will forever recommend Lori 10/10, 5 star, every day. Thank you Lori!!

I spoke with Lori on the phone and she immediately put me at ease. This was a destination wedding for us and the trust was there from the beginning. My bridesmaids wore sunset colors and Lori did amazing at making the bouquets as beautiful and vibrant as they were. And my colorful was perfect against my white dress. The arch flowers were perfect and looked great repurposed for our sweetheart table. Lori even popped in the bridal suite to say hi, Goodluck and personally want to show me my bouquet! Lori’s floral creations for my wedding made me WISH that I could make all of the pieces last forever. Every single piece was STUNNING.
Initially in my planning, I was leaning towards a smaller floral budget and reached out to inquire what was possible with Island Blooms. Lori was so kind, approachable, and informative talking me through flowers, looks, and different ideas, and she was so flexible to making changes. I never felt pressure from her that she was pushing additional costs - just wanting to deliver beautiful flowers that fit my vision and my budget. Later on, I chose to increase the scope of my contract because I wanted to incorporate more floral centerpieces and arrangements. I’m SO glad I did - I felt like it was the perfect amount of floral to have incorporated in the day. She knew just the right variety to mix, how to incorporate the pieces to be steady through wind and rain, and enhance the overall vibes. Every single one of family members commented about how GORGEOUS the flowers were.
I am so in love with how each piece came out and so grateful I found & trusted Lori to bring my tropical floral dreams to life 😍 I highly recommend Island Blooms! -

Beyond Amazing!

Fantastic all around!
Island Blooms created the most beautiful floral vision for our wedding! I felt like working with Lori was so completely personal, with multiple phone calls where she really tried to understand our taste. She had fabulous ideas for the centerpieces which made the room more interesting, and when we completely changed the vision a month before the wedding she was excited and seamless about it! She made an effort throughout the process to help repurpose everywhere possible and was super thoughtful about our budget, which made me feel like we were a team. Their work, especially where I didn't have a specific vision (ceremony flowers, groom boutonniere) showed off their gorgeous creativity and made our pictures divine. Hire Island Blooms!
I cannot say enough good things about Lori and Marilyn at Island Blooms. They were so knowledgeable and able to help me with all aspects of the florals. I had a lower budget to stick to and they never once tried to upsell which was very nice. I even had them create a few centerpieces for our rehearsal which they suggested reusing for the wedding. They listened, made suggestions and ultimately delivered florals better than I imagined! I told my husband I need an anniversary bouquet from them every year. Definitely hire them!!! -

Island Blooms did such a beautiful job on my wedding! I gave them an idea not knowing too much about flowers and they ran with it and did a better job than I ever could have expected. The flower arrangements they provided were some of the prettiest flowers I had ever seen! The colors were gorgeous and you could tell the flowers were so fresh! Then I found Island Blooms and Lori seemed to get what I was looking for and stayed well within my budget. Our flowers blew away ay expectations we had. Nobody could believe how gorgeous they were! I had a very intimate ceremony with just our closest family so all I needed was a bridal bouquet and boutonnière. I showed Lori and Marilyn some inspiration pics and all I can say it was everything I could have ever imagined and more. They combined elements from every picture and made my bouquet so beautiful and unique. Communication was great and delivery was very prompt. One of the best parts of my wedding
I am so happy to have found Island Blooms. They provided the centerpieces and bouquets for my wedding, and they absolutely blew me away. The flowers were gorgeous and the exactly kinds and colors I had asked for (like ranunculus, garden roses, pincushion protea). They were professional, friendly, and always prompt with communication. They were super patient and flexible working with my mom and me as we switched venues and they gave local recommendations since I was only temporarily living in the keys and didn’t know all of the local spots. They took the time to have phone conversations with my mom and met with me in person and took a few loose ideas I had and a few pictures I shared and made the most beautiful flower arrangements for my wedding at Cheeca Lodge. They really had the skills to be creative and put gorgeous flowers together for an exceptional outcome. The bridal bouquet, boutonnière, cake and table arrangements exceeded any expectation I could have had for my wedding day-they were perfect! I got so many specific compliments on the flowers! I was also able to use them the following day at brunch and they looked perfect! I was also very pleased with the price point for what they provided- very reasonable! All i can say is wow
Lori made my wedding dreams come true. First of all, she got on the phone with me months before hand to listen to what my taste is (I’m not a very creative person, nor do I have a specific style to pin point), but just from us talking she was able to grasp the idea, and give me the calmest peace of mind that she would create the most beautiful florals! She was extremely communicative anytime I reached out to her. Now zoom forward to wedding day. She hand delivered my bouquet, maid of honor bouquet, wrist corsages, boutonnières, and hair piece to my hotel room!!!!! I didn’t even have to worry about how to get it!! Then, she and her team went out and created the floral arbor of my dreams. Unfortunately, the resort did not have the arbor out the time Lori and her team arrived for set up. But no worries because Lori and her team WAITED patiently until it was put out for them to start the arbor. It was stunning. On top of that, she created gorgeous table centerpieces that were extremely lush and beautiful and made the tables come to life! You seriously don’t need to look anywhere else if you’re looking for a florist. Oh and I forgot- I ordered a cake from Gina down in key largo (pastry mermaid), and Lori and Gina coordinated without me having to ask about the floral cake arrangement, taking all the stress off of me. I also have to say, I was on a budget for this wedding, and Lori worked with me to come up with the perfect arrangements that were more than fair. Fantastic experience!
Island Blooms exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to make sure I had the most beautiful wedding flowers! It was so windy on my wedding day and Island Blooms spent extra time to ensure my arch flowers would not come down and they succeeded! Breathtaking !
I decided to go with island blooms off of a recommendation and It was the best decision I could have made. My wedding was going to be a casual backyard affair. The flower arrangements they made turned it from casual to rustic chic. I didn’t really know what I wanted and sent them a couple examples of what I liked and they Completely transformed my vision into something so much more beautiful. Lori and her mama executed the florals for my wedding beautifully. I was so stunned when they delivered the bouquets to my suite the day of the wedding. I cried because my personal bouquet was so exquisite i never could have imagined it being mine. It was a pinch me moment. These ladies are so helpful and so personable. Their pricing is fair, Lord knows florals will be a good portion of a wedding budget. They worked with my budget and gave us some gorgeous arrangements that went along with my vision. I provided vases that i found from HomeGoods that are large, heavy, and different shades of aqua recycled glass. I dropped them off once we got to the keys, and they provided the most perfect florals for them. You won’t be disappointed!Island Blooms's reply:

Island Bloom's made our wedding perfect. They gave us an amazing deal and the flowers far exceeded what we thought we would have. They were beyond beautiful and my description was so vague but they gave me a dream bouquet and then decorated an arch last minute. They made everything match perfectly and we were in awe of their skills. I absolutely could not recommend them enough. Everything I Wanted!
I had a destination elopement. I sent Lori a few pictures that I found on Pinterest. I asked her if she could replicate the arrangements. She said she could.
