From the time we first met with Ishan and Preeti, we were drawn to them. They were very flexible when it came to adjusting for our budget and they delivered quality shots and our wedding video! We fit 5 events over 2 days and they were there for all of it! Incredible Photographers!
If we could do our wedding all over again, we would hire Ishan and Preeti again in a heartbeat!! They were one of our first vendors we signed after selecting our wedding date, and from the very first meeting we immediately felt like we clicked with them and absolutely loved their photojournalism approach to wedding photography. Throughout all of the planning they were there to answer every question that came up and help us understand how to structure our day to make sure we could capture all photos we wanted while also being present in the moments :) When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away.
We hired Ishan Fotografi to capture our multiday wedding weekend including our haldi, sangeet/garba, wedding ceremony, and reception. At each event they captured the spirit and emotions so perfectly, and their photos truly depict the story of each event and the whole weekend. From portraits to candid captures, we love each and every photo. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera, but Ishan and Preeti made us feel so at ease. They were fantastic at showing us how to pose, be natural, made us laugh, and also helped our families to feel comfortable, which truly shows in the photos. They made sure people were not in the way for critical shots, and being south Asian themselves, they knew what traditions were going to happen and were always ready for them. They also asked us in advance to list out any moments that were important to us to make sure that those were captured, and we cherish the candid photos of those moments :) Their attention to detail made us feel very calm throughout the weekend and confident that the important moments were being captured! Our families and bridal parties have also mentioned how much they loved working with them.
They worked seamlessly with our videographers to make sure both teams were getting all of the material needed to give us incredible memories from our wedding. We cannot recommend Ishan and Preeti enough! -

Ishan and Preeti made our wedding pics turn out amazing and they made the day feel like we were hanging out with two friends whom we had known forever when in fact we had only met in person that weekend! Ishan Fotografi is the dream photography team!
The Ishan Fotografi team were hands-down the best photography team we could have hired for our wedding! Ishan and Preeti made us feel comfortable with their easy-going and fun personalities from our initial call all the way through our big day, and the photos turned out beautifully as a result (and, of course, as a result of their incredible craftsmanship). Even when we hit bumps in the road on the morning of our big day trying to figure out where to take photos and how to get there, Ishan and Preeti took the lead and organized it for us, letting us relax and enjoy our day. They also shared our finished photos quickly, and everyone we've shown the photos to have just raved about them. Ishan and Preeti are the best photographers that we could have dreamed of! The end result photos are incredible. I am so thankful that they were able to do such a spectacular job capturing the evening. We really vibed with them, our individual shoot went really well with their expert coaching. It was really fun! I cannot thank Ishan and Preeti enough for making our wedding so magical. It's been a few months from the wedding, and I constantly find myself going back and looking at the photos. My friend follows the Ishan Fotografi account and thought *my wedding* was a fancy influencer wedding because they captured it so incredibly beautifully. It can be hard to express how wonderful Ishan and Preety were day of, and truly how much I treasure their work. Amazing talent and great to work with

5 stars doesn't seem high enough. We'd rate them a million stars if we could! Ishan and Preeti were easily our favorite vendors from our wedding. Photography was one of the most important aspects of our wedding day and we knew we wanted to invest in the best. One of our close family friends had recommended Ishan Fotografi to us and from the first phone call, we knew we had found our photographers! They were truly with us every step of the way... from engagement photos, to helping build out our initial wedding day timeline, to moving effortlessly through our long list of family formals, and even to add on time to capture an end-of-night sparkler exit. All of our family and friends said how much they loved Ishan and Preeti and how lovely they were to be around. It's clear that they love what they do as it exudes out of every beautiful photo they shot for us. Throughout this process, they truly felt like family. Ishan and Preeti did an outstanding job on both our wedding day and in the many months leading up to it. They responded promptly to every single one of our emails, traveled to meet us in a convenient location for our engagement shoot, and meticulously prepared for the wedding. On our actual wedding day they were both organized and flexible, even staying an additional 30 minutes of overtime at last minute's notice. The photos themselves were beautiful, and the webpage to view photos and purchase copies is easy to use. Overall, we give our highest recommendation for Ishan and Preeti! -

Ishan Fotografi are the best!
We worked with them for our engagement in late 2019. We were so impressed with his professionalism and photos that we decided to go with them for the wedding (Sept 2020) as well! Ishan, Preeti & Team are friendly, open, and transparent. They are responsive, flexible, and are wiling to always go the extra mile to make sure the photos come out the way we want them.
We also did a photoshoot with them. I highly recommend them for it. Ishan and Preeti are really good at working with couples that are shy behind the camera. They guided us through a variety of shots, angles, and poses and it was well worth it.
In preparing for the wedding, especially during the chaos from Covid, the photography was the only component that we did not have to worry about. They handled everything so well that we had the chance to enjoy our wedding day and not focus about photography. They clearly know what they are doing and when and where they need to be to capture the best moments.
If you’re looking for an amazing team with lots of energy, experience, and professionalism, then look no further! They actually are invested in your event and the quality of their output reflects that. They also are very relatable, great at conversation, and have a great sense of humor!

From our first introduction phone call, Ishan and Preeti were incredible to work with. We were planning our upstate New York wedding from Denver and needed vendors who were responsive and trustworthy. We were supposed to meet Ishan at my friend's wedding/at our engagement photoshoot but alas COVID happened and we weren't able to meet them until our wedding day. We also had to scale down our original package because of the much smaller event. Ishan was so flexible and helpful in every aspect throughout the replanning process - it made us so at ease. He even helped me find a hair/makeup stylist last minute!
The day of the wedding couldn't have gone any better. First, they captured some beautiful moments of us getting ready - particularly ones of me and my nieces (everyone knows how difficult it is to get good photos with kids). Then at the first look, they made us so comfortable with the photos. My husband and I have never taken pictures professionally before and we were pretty nervous because we usually look pretty awkward in posed photos - but that was not the case at all with Ishan/Preeti. My husband and I were laughing the entire time and not once felt awkward. They guided us so well, esp because they're married and were able to show us poses and made us look natural! I'm still in awe at how much joy/laughter/comfort they took in these photos - they really captured the essence of us as a couple.
Our ceremony is at the top of a mountain and requires going up the ski lift to get to the ceremony site and they were great sports about this - getting amazing photos of us going up/down the lift with the incredible views around us. The other challenge of our wedding was that all of our "wedding party" were 8 children between ages 2-13 and somehow Ishan/Preeti managed to get beautiful photos of them all - I especially love this one picture of us with all 8 kids. We also had some family formals following the ceremony and both our families loved how these turned out!
Overall, I highly recommend Ishan/Preeti if you want a fun photoshoot experience and photos that'll capture your day. -

Ishan & Preeti were simply amazing! Their presence, their energy and their passion to what they do is something you definitely want as a part of your wedding day :) Indian weddings are stressful, there are quite akin to multi dimensional games of chess with the customs, rituals and the sheer number of people. In between all of this, if you are blessed to have photographers that really treat you like family and keep the day on schedule then thats something we should all sign up for! They sent us wedding pics within a month & the pictures were simply AMAZING! These aren't your typical cheesy Indian wedding photos (though they'll indulge you if you want some of those too) but rather a more photo journalistic approach to capturing emotions on the most important day of your life! Strongly recommend and a pleasure to work with!! The final product will leave you feeling like you can forever go back and relive your wedding time capsule! -

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions for couples in wedding planning. Not only are they responsible for capturing the memories but you spend more time than anyone else at your wedding with your photographers! We knew Preeti and Ishan had to be our photographers from the moment we met them because they both are such fun and relaxed people whom we could envision ourselves spending the most special day with! We absolutely loved working with them. They not only brought a great energy, they know how to work with big families and all the chaos that weddings inevitably bring, which was so important for us. They never said no to anything that was part of our vision even when other photographers would. We highly recommend Ishan and Preeti as wedding photographers. They captured every single special moment during our multi-day Pakistani-Bangladeshi wedding.
While we were searching for wedding photographers, we kept coming across photographers whose style was more traditional Desi or just too lovey-dovey romantic. We wanted a photographer that understood our cultures and how our weddings work, but also someone who had a creative eye and wouldn’t have us doing poses where we were just doing typical romantic poses. My husband and I wanted photos that were FUN and captured our personalities and Ishan and Preeti definitely delivered. They are a friendly, funny, and creative team that helped us secure the type of engagement and wedding photos that we wanted.
Ishan and Preeti were incredibly flexible and were more than willing to accommodate some of our more absurd requests, such as doing a sunrise engagement shoot (at 5am!) on the Brooklyn Bridge. Despite the not so perfect weather (it ended up being a rainy, sunrise shoot), Ishan and Preeti took their time in taking such amazing photographs. Even though they were supposed to only spend two hours with us, they did not rush us at all and took photographs in all the places we wanted.
Ishan and Preeti are also incredibly organized and gave us some helpful feedback on our wedding timeline prior to the big weekend. They helped to ensure that we had dedicated enough time for each and every part of the day. In addition, they did an amazing job in taking pre-wedding photos with our giant wedding party. They were able to capture every combination of group/individual shots possible in a short amount of time.
My bridesmaids and I are also indebted to Preeti. The bridesmaids wore saris to the wedding, but many of them did not know how to wrap them. Preeti took the time to help my girls out by making sure their saris were wrapped and safety-pinned appropriately. Similarly, Preeti was my hero when it came to properly draping my dupatta. My mother, sister, and HMUA were all struggling to figure out how to set it. Within seconds, Preeti swooped in and made sure everything was set and looked properly. When I arrived all dressed for my reception the next day, to which I wore a sari, Preeti again came to the rescue and made sure it was wrapped properly.
Our whole family, ourselves included, are in awe of the amazing engagement and wedding photos that Ishan and Preeti took. It truly is hard to pick a favorite because there are so many great pictures. They are truly a talented duo and we would highly recommend them! We will definitely be booking them for any future events! -

Where do we even begin with Ishan and Preeti of Ishan Fotografi?! Our experience with them was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I (and all of our guests!) would highly recommend Ishan Fotografi to any couple looking for talented, thoughtful, creative, adventurous, understanding, professional, responsive and downright fun photographers!
I first got introduced to Ishan & Preeti a year before my wedding at another wedding they were shooting. I really liked their vibe/personality while working with the couple - they were really thoughtful in their approach and shots they took, had great ideas/visions and were really great at demonstrating poses for the couple because they're a couple themselves! I immediately reached out to them the next day to get to know them a bit more. Ishan and Preeti were very communicative from the beginning - answering any of our questions via email, text or phone call; inviting us to their place to see their work; asking us how the wedding planning was going; etc.
We got along with them instantaneously and knew we didn't want to book anyone else. Not only were Ishan & Preeti great photographers, but also GREAT company! We loved every minute of our engagement shoot with them. It can get a little awkward taking photos in public, but Ishan and Preeti made it super fun and relaxed. That kind of energy and vibe cascaded throughout the wedding weekend. We were so appreciative of this, especially because they knew how to help us navigate stressful situations as they arose throughout the weekend and made sure our photos still came out great! They also took the time to walk around our venue and scope out the best places to take the different types of photos we wanted.
We received our photos very quickly after the wedding. There are so many amazing shots we are having a hard time picking our favorites!! Definitely a good problem to have :) If we ever are in need of photographers again, we know exactly know who we'll be calling! -

Amazing Experience!!
From the moment we booked Ishan, we knew it was the best decision we had ever made besides marrying each other. Ishan is very organized and easy to work with. Whether you don't know quite what your schedule should be to include pictures or the best locations within your venue, he has got your back. We were both super impressed by how professional and seamless the whole experience was. Our wedding pictures turned out phenomenal and we have gotten tons of compliments on them. Both he and his wife Preeti were a huge help throughout the wedding process. Preeti could not have been more clutch on the big day helping me with my dress. They are such an enjoyable couple to work with and have now become good friends of ours. Their design aesthetic is on point too! The thank you cards and album they designed for us could not have been more perfect! If you are looking for any easy to work with vendor, stunning photos and an overall awesome experience, book them today! Like right now! Before anyone else can! -

Ishan Fotographi came highly recommended by our friends and from the moment we spoke to Ishan, we immediately knew that we wanted to work with him. Ishan and his wife, Preeti were our photographers for our mehndi, ceremony and reception and were a DREAM to work with. From the moment they came to take our getting ready shots at 6 am, they made us very comfortable and and coached us on posing and standing in natural light that would help us get some incredible shots. They also were very quick on their feet - adapting throughout the day to get amazing shots - ie: from quirky shots when my husband's friends brought him a taco bell breakfast burrito to checking out hidden passages at our venue!
Since our wedding was in a literal polar vortex (Feb 1st!), the dynamic duo was extremely thoughtful in letting me sneak inside even for a couple of moments to warm up as we would be taking our first look shots outside the venue. We had preordered color bombs for that photoshoot and Ishan and Preeti created magic with those photos. Preeti also became my personal make up touch up lady as she would immediately come to the rescue to make sure none of the red kanku (powder) from the ceremony didn't stain and the pictures would be flawless.
During our reception photo shoot whilst cocktail hour was going on, Ishan and Preeti could tell I was visibly tired and did everything possible to make sure I was hydrated, laughing and having fun. They captured beautiful candid shots which were my priority, both of Ravi and I, but also of our guests, especially on the dance floor. The best part? We had our fully gallery within just a couple of weeks! I couldn't recommend Ishan and Preeti enough and look forward to booking them for a future event! -

Best wedding planning decision I made
Ishan and Preeti are incredible people and artists. My husband and I were adamant on not having cheesy pictures and not spending a ridiculous amount of money – they certainly met both our requirements and much more. Our pictures are one of a kind. For our engagement photos, Ishan and Preeti were willing to drive around Westchester and take photos at numerous locations that meant something special to us. They are so creative with light and texture and are daring to go anywhere. We ended up making a guest book out of those photos and everyone gushed over them at the wedding.
And then our wedding day..Oh My Goodness. I have never seen such beautiful photos. We got married in Montauk and after our first look, we went out by the lighthouse and took photos over the bluffs. They are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
I put my wedding day schedule in the hands of Ishan and Preeti. They are not at all pushy but they will be assertive and direct others when necessary. They got great shots of Ryan and myself getting ready separately before the wedding with our wedding party. Preeti made sure to get photos of myself with my dog – which meant the world to me. They orchestrated our first look, which was perfectly private and then headed out to the lighthouse.
We got married at a yacht club and we had mentioned to Ishan how we would love a photo on a big yacht. He again rose to the occasion. We found friendly boat owners who let us board their ship and Ishan got photos of us opening champagne and drone photos of us lying on the bow. He thinks on his feet and comes up with awesome photos in any circumstance.
Ishan Fotografi really captured the highlights of the wedding perfectly. The photos were available by the time we were back from our honeymoon. We just received our album, which is not only breathtaking, but really tells the story of the wedding day.
I want to add how chill, fun and thoughtful this couple is. When we first met them we bonded over Trader Joe’s coffee – and soon after they sent us a box full of it!!! We were concerned about feeling awkward for our engagement album so they encouraged us to have a drink or two beforehand which did loosen us up! After shooting, we ended up hanging out over dinner, which was so fun and relaxing.
I highly recommend Isahn Fotografi for your wedding. They are the best wedding planning decision I made. I recently talked to a friend who paid over twice as much as we did and her photos are all the typical cheesy wedding photos…. Don’t make the same mistake!

Michelle Sent on 07/23/2018As soon as I booked my venue, the next thing I did was book Ishan and Preeti because I wanted to make sure they were available to photograph our wedding. Being a photographer myself, I knew photography was one thing I would be particular about, and I wanted the very best of the best. They captured our destination wedding in March of 2018 in Marco Island, Florida. Unfortunately it down poured on our wedding day, but you would never know from the vibrant images they delivered. They will go above and beyond to get the perfect shots, whether it is balancing on chairs, crawling on the ground, or shooting under umbrellas in the rain. We absolutely love all of the pictures. It is truly impossible to choose your favorities. To this day when people talk about about how amazing out wedding was, they always mention how wonderful out photographers were (my best friend even booked them for her wedding!) I highly recommend choosing Ishan Fotografi. They are beyond talented and truly made our wedding day special.

Both these guys were very friendly, approachable, and flexible with us. We had only met over skype twice prior to our wedding but meeting them in person was like meeting old friends. I was completely in awe of the way they both worked well with each other while fantastically capturing our wedding. Real treat to work with them. My husband and I are not very good at posing but they both really helped us look like a million bucks at the wedding. I was especially impressed with their ability to manage the family and friends well. I know finding the right wedding photographer can be a tremendously daunting task but not once did we regret our decision to hire them. In fact, I would highly recommend them to our friends and family.

Beautiful pictures and photography! The entire process has been smooth, well-planned, and clear since day one when I interacted with Ishan. I searched Google for good photographers for my wedding in NJ and came across Ishan and Preeti's portfolio. Personally, I believe pictures speak volumes, convey a story, and touch hearts if captured correctly. I rarely see that, but I fell in love with their photography when I saw their portfolio pictures.
I reached out to Ishan and was able to freely discuss the budget I had in mind and my expectations for the wedding pictures. He was very understanding, and we were able to determine that his team was a great choice given my requirements and limitations. Kudos to his team for being so attentive and capturing the tiny details throughout the entire wedding. It's rare to find photographers who focus on asking what the clients want for their big day, but Ishan and Preeti made sure to have regular check-ins (via online calls and offline web forms) to understand our needs. We wanted candid shots and family pictures to be a priority.
Looking at the pictures now, I am more than satisfied. Everyone who has seen them can't stop praising both the pictures and the photography. The candid shots are extraordinary, and the family portraits are fantastic, along with the wedding pictures that capture even the smallest details. The best part is that each family received their family picture, and we are all very happy.
