I bought my dress as final sale at Betsy Robinson. It was a size 10 and I'm a size 2/4. I cannot believe she was able to make my dress look so good on me! You would never guess it wasn't already a size 4 dress! She has magical hands, I don't know how she does it! She truly loves her job and has a passion for making people feel good in what they wear and also very reasonably priced! My bridesmaids also ordered their dresses through Isabella Bridal. Couldn't recommend this place more! -
Kayla Sent on 11/16/2017The dress I purchased from Renaissance Bridal was a sample sale and needed a good amount of alterations. This is a small family run business that will treat you as if you are part of the family. These ladies truly care about the way your dress looks and aren't satisfied until it is perfect! They were able to make the dress perfectly fit without altering the beautiful one of a kind lace and add a bustle that seamlessly blends in with the dress. There process is wonderful (1st fitting, 2nd, and final fitting)
I was given there name as a recommendation, and I will continue sending customer's there way! -

Danni Sent on 09/25/2016I bought my dress from David's Bridal and brought it to Isabella's for alterations. They did a wonderful job! Everything was reasonably priced and completed in a reasonable time frame. I felt beautiful on my big day. They were also able to accommodate my sister's alterations on a shorter-than-preferred deadline. I'd totally recommend them! -

Stephanie Sent on 12/04/2014I am so glad I went to Isabella for my alterations. They did a fantastic job and they were so nice. Also they are very reasonable when it comes to pricing. I know that if I went somewhere else that they would have charged me double then what they charged me. I am very glad that someone recommended them to me. Again I was very pleased with my dress and it fitted me perfectly on our special day. :) -

User1488290 Sent on 10/27/2013i went to about 5/6 different wedding shops. Isabellas was and still is the best in the baltimore area. My wedding dress was about tripple the size too big. They did an amazing job with the alterations. Also she can offer a cheaper price than any other shop on wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Other shops were charging double in price. I know two other girls who also got their wedding dress alterations done and they have been going to isabellas for years for other things they need. Locally owned as well so they appreciate any business they get. The owner gave me her cell number for the day before/day of the wedding in case there was any problems. Which there was, i forgot to get a bridal hair clip- i called her and she met me at the shop prior to opening hours and i was able to purchase my bridal hair clip before my wedding!! I highly recommend this shop!!! -

Becky Sent on 10/07/2008Even though this is just a tiny shop, this place is great. It's a family owned shop and everyone there is very nice and helpful in so many way. The prices were better then most other places and the seamstress prices are so much less then other places. Isabella's is a great place to go for bridesmaid dresses! -
User75558 Sent on 07/01/2008They were very nice although it is hard to get in and out of their parking lot. They were about $20-$30 cheaper on the same dress as other bridal stores and were willing to work with the bride and her bridesmaids. They even shipped out a dress out of state to another bridesmaid so they she could have it altered.
My bridal party was 4 bridesmaids with each dress being about $200 so the total was $800. -

Which, i need to mention, was perfect, in every way, thank you to their expertise in tayloring my dress to fit perfectly. They offered covenient hours, and Friendly, personal service. I would reccomend them to anyone who needed the best service for their biggest day.~

IB did everything they could to help me get the look I wanted! They even helped me pick out the right sash...I opted to NOT go with the one it came with. I use IB for more than my Big Day Dresses....I use them for everything now!!! -

Jana Sent on 09/05/2012This mother/daughter shop is amazing. I found my dream dress here and all because the owner listened to what I wanted and made the perfect recommendation. She also ordered all of my Bridesmaids' dresses and matched the online price without shipping costs. She worked with me about alterations and allowed me to wait until the last minute so I could continue to lose weight. Their customer service is wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect dress. -

Cristiana Sent on 04/20/2009I used Isabella Bridal for my wedding gown alterations. They did a great job in the end, but I felt very rushed during my fittings. At my first fitting, I don't think the seamstress was even going to tell me that my bra was visible in the back of the dress. My dress had straps, and I didn't realize they were sheer in the back, since they were not sheer in the front, so I bought a bra that was pale yellow and not beige, because I thought that it would not be visible. I was incredibly lucky that my friend came with me and she mentioned it. When I tried to see if we could pull the back of the bra lower to make it work better, the seamstress never stopped pinning it to give me a moment, so I knew if I needed to buy another bra. Then I had to call them for my second fitting, they never called me when the dress was ready. I bought a new bra and went back for my second fitting, but the straps were not short enough, and when I mentioned it, the seamstress told me that I would not want them any shorter because the fitted part of the dress would not fall correctly. But again I was lucky to have my Maid of Honor with me, who held up the straps and shortened them to show the seamstress that the dress looked much better that way, and to ask her to shorten the straps.
They are very affordable and they may have more time for customers at different times of year, but if you use them you might need to be very clear on what you want.
