Professional, Flexible and Fun!
Matt was the DJ and MC for our company family fun day in October 2022. He was very professional and down-to-earth! He communicated every step of the way with hosts and interacted with the guests. I appreciate his flexibility in accepting requests -- He played all the music we had requested for the event. All the song/music choices and transitions were excellent! I would definitely book Irwin Entertainment again, and I highly recommend this organization for any event! -

Matt was very easy to work with, very professional and knew exactly what types of music to play for an all age event
Irwin Entertainment came to our Fall Festival this year and made it an event like none other. People were Stopping in their tracks to dance while Trunk or treating, visiting the petting farm and so much more Matt is exceptional to work with and I would highly recommend him for any event wanting a strong DJ -

Best Wedding Ever
Matt absolutely nailed my wedding music wishes! The dance floor didn’t stop for a single minute, and I had the best wedding reception. Everyone was dancing and singing to each song that he played, and he kept the energy up! He was so personal and professional and we would highly recommend him for anyone’s wedding day! Thank you so much, Matt! We loved having you there for our special day! -

Matt Irwin was an AMAZING DJ at our wedding! My husband, Trey, and I cannot thank him enough for all he did to make our wedding truly a perfect day. First of all, before the wedding, he had to deal with some very unnecessary family drama, which was no fault of his own, but he handled it with great grace and professionalism. Then, the day of our wedding, we were running quite behind schedule, due to reasons that happened earlier in the day and he still managed to play many of our must-play songs even though our open dance time was cut short, and our guests had SO MUCH FUN. The music was awesome and he was interactive and engaging that made people want to go out on the dance floor! He has an awesome announcer voice and even granted our request of announcing our bridal party and ourselves as if he were announcing for a sports game! So fun! He was able to be super flexible when things didn't go as planned (for example, I had a surprise song for my groom, but ended up getting sick at the wedding and needed some time to recover before I was ready to sing.) and he rolled with the punches! So many of our guests said it was one of the funnest receptions they'd ever been to and my husband and I had a BLAST! Thank you for everything Matt! We loved you! You won't regret it if you choose him and we sure hope you do so that you can have an amazing experience like we did! :) -

Matt DJ'ed our wedding this past weekend and threw one heck of a party!! Not only did he keep us on schedule with the list of events, he helped keep us coordinated on such a crazy day. Our guests have been raving about how much fun they had dancing all night. Highly recommend for any event, especially a wedding!!! -

We had Mike Curray as DJ at our birthday party. As entertainment we asked the guests to participate in a Lip Sync Battle. It was hilarious and Mike was over the top attentive to the song selection the guests chose. The Battle ran smoothly and was quite fun! I would certainly ask Mike back again! -

Besides calling me by my sisters name a few times throughout the night (Amber...Amanda...we're used to it!!!!) Matt was an amazing DJ! He did everything I asked throughout the night and was so much fun!!! -

Matt Irwin was amazing from our first meeting to the final day. We had a few hickups in our scheduled events for the day due to weather related issues and he rolled with them with no problem. Last minute reception site change was no problem. Very personable and passionate about the services his company provides. My father ran an audio/video business for years so I know quality equipment and Irwin Entertainment has great quality sound. Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable about what musical direction to lean towards for different areas of the wedding ceremony and reception. You can not go wrong with Matt and his team! -

I am so glad I found Irwin Entertainment to provide services for my event. The price was very reasonable and they were able to come up with a way to show a slideshow at my outdoor wedding, which had always been my vision for my special day. Ron Zolkower was very professional and courteous to my family and guests and did a great job with the presentation. -

Matt Irwin is absolutely wonderful!!! He meets with you about 4-6 wks before your event and will allow at least 2 hours (which I took about 3 hours) to go over every detail, so that he can make absolutely sure your event is everything you could imagine and more!! I changed little things up to the last week, and he was extremely patient with me and did everything that I had requested. He is so genuine and thorough with everything. After meeting with him, I was 100% confident that he would be absolutely wonderful and I was exactly right! Matt provided the music for my wedding ceremony and reception and it was absolutley perfect!! I couldn't have asked for anyone better. You will not be disappointed after using Irwin Entertainment! Matt is awesome and we are so happy to have had him be a part of our wedding day!! I truly and sincerely thank him for helping in making our day perfect! -

Everyone at our wedding gave us so many compliments about the great music and dancing. They loved how Irwin entertainment created a romantic and fun environment. Our DJ made the whole reception flow perfectly and kept our guests entertained! I danced so hard that my feet hurt the next day. I highly recommend Irwin entertainment! -

We had so many great compliments after our wedding reception! People loved the music and so many guests were dancing even with a variety in ages. Matt at Irwin Entertainment was so helpful and extremely easy to work with. He took the time to meet with me prior to our corporate event to walk through the event space and discuss last-minute details. He was very reasonably priced, and we did not have to worry about one thing the day of our event. We let him in, and he got right to work setting up all of his equipment. Throughout the process (booking services, signing agreement, etc), he was communicative and responded to any emails in a timely fashion. I would absolutely recommend him for any event! -

Matt's organization took away so much stress from my wife and I. We met with him about a month before our wedding, and outlined the entire day in an excel spreadsheet. For us, this helped us make sure every detail of the day was covered and relieved a lot of anxiety.
On the day of the ceremony, Matt was on time, he coordinated with our other vendors, and made sure everything ran smoothly. He played the songs we wanted, the dance floor was packed all night, and everything went according to the well laid out plan. I would definitely recommend Irwin Entertainment to anyone in the Nashville looking for a DJ, they were wonderful to work with. -

Matt was the DJ for our wedding. I did not have a wedding planner and after meeting with Matt all my worries and concerns disappeared. He helped plan out our whole wedding and made us feel great about everything! Matt was quick to respond and everyone at the Wedding loved him! Matt did a PERFECT job!! He was excellent at planning, speaking, and executing a perfect evening. We had no alcohol but Matt was still able to get everybody on the dance floor and keep them there!!! Matt Irwin was perfect for our wedding. He was very professional, organized and delivered exactly what he said he would and was perfectly prompt. Matt Irwin did such a wonderful job. Music selection was perfect and played everything we wanted and didn't play what we didn't. He kept the timeline going and we didn't have a weird time lags. He kept the tempo going for the dance portion and was very accommodating with any last minute changes. The planning session before the wedding was insightful and extremely helpful. Matt was so great!At first, we did have some reservations about him because he became our DJ after the one that we originally contracted with us couldn't do it. My family is Caribbean and his family is Southern, so we definite varying musical needs. Needless to say, he pulled it off flawlessly. Everyone was dancing the entire night. Keith and I didnt sit down the entire night, and our guests couldn't believe that our DJ was so in touch with what we wanted to hear. He took requests, he played our special songs, and our guests danced and sang he whole night through. -

We had a wonderful experience with Matt from Irwin Entertainment. He did a great job providing DJ services, music, and lighting for both our wedding ceremony and reception. I was impressed by his professionalism through both the planning stages and the event itself. Everyone who attended had a great time dancing the night away, even some relatives who I had never seen cut loose in my life! I would definitely use Irwin Entertainment again. -

Irwin Entertainment was great!!!!!! They were very profesional yet laid back and very flexible at the same time. They had hard to find songs that we were looking for in our wedding, and played everything we requested. They also have awesome lighting. For our entrance to our reception we had backlighting with smoke effects and it just looked awesome with the shadows, and the introduction of the wedding party, and my wife and I. They are really awesome with special requests and surprises. I highly recommend them. -

Irwin Entertainment has performed as DJ/Emcee for my Halloween party the past 2 years and it's been a pleasure. The equipment “setup” is precise, concise, and ahead of schedule. Matt is critical with detail - focusing on what really gets the crowd going. Let’s face it… a DJ can make or break your event. Matt Irwin was AWESOME! Our wedding guests had a blast. My husband and I first met with Matt a few weeks before our wedding, he was very professional and so easy to talk to. We didn't give Matt much to go on, but after asking us a few questions and getting a feel for who we are-Matt put together a rockin reception play list that we and our guest of all ages enjoyed. I highly reccomend Irwin Entertainment for your event, no matter the style or venue-This is your guy!

Irwin Entertainment made our wedding reception! I cannot speak better words of the service provided for the price. They really try to learn their clients, and the feel of the event to make it the most memorable it could be! My husband and I, and all our family and friends had the best time! Matt Irwin and Irwin Entertainment truly made our wedding a night to remember. From the moment the reception started everything was very well organized, and he made sure everyone was having a great time. He plays ton’s of good music, and has some great ideas that were a huge hit at the reception. Matt also made sure that neither my wife or I would have to worry about anything the entire night. It was refreshing to work someone who had every little detail planned so my only job would be too have a fun night! I would not only recommend Irwin Entertainment to my friends and family but I would convince them to choose them. I could not have been any happier with the night, and Matt was a huge part of that. -

Matt really took the wheel - his obvious experience was reassuring in the planning stages, he told us what he needed from us, and kept us updated as the date got closer. Professional, friendly, likeable, a veteran. -

Matt was absolutely wonderful! He was a joy to work with! He was very responsive to all of our emails even when we had last minute changes and specific requests! We sent him an extensive list of must-play songs and he played all of them! He was also very flexible as our timeline changed throughout the night and maintained excellent communication with our wedding coordinator as well as our other vendors. He even offered to wear whatever we requested! He was not cheesy at all and was completely professional the entire night. I was so impressed! I would absolutely use him again!
My one complaint was with the photo booth (not with Matt!). The lighting and set-up wasn't great so the pictures of large groups in the photo booth did not turn out well. Also, there was an album that the photobooth pictures were put in and the attendant was not encouraging people to sign it. People still had a great time with it though! -

Matt provided exceptional service for my daughter's wedding. He had great suggestions and really heard what my daughter and her fiance wanted to have played. Matt worked very hard getting two sound sysytems set up for us and was very responsive all during the wedding and reception. I highly recommend Matt Irwin! -
