We loved Iris & Barry Blooms
Iris & Barry Blooms was truly a standout choice for our wedding florist. Booking our vendors well in advance, we experienced a few shifts in our floral preferences along the way. Michelle was incredibly accommodating and handled each change with grace. The final result was exactly what we envisioned and more. Our wedding day was beautifully adorned, brimming with happiness, vibrance, and charm. Wonderful experience
Michelle is truly an artist and master of her craft that I cannot recommend enough. She is a total sweetheart and was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. Wedding planning can be extremely stressful, but having Michelle on our team made everything much easier. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about being a florist and it shows in her work. She was very professional, attentive, responsive and understanding through out the process. I sent her my Pinterest for inspiration. I was a little indecisive about exactly what I was looking for, but she was able to help me navigate the confusion and give us exactly what we were looking for. We discussed our vision for the day and she sent over a mood board. I asked for some adjustments which she made. She took our ideas and transformed them beyond what I could have imagined. I gave her creative liberties to make adjustments based on her professional judgement. I was trying to be mindful of costs so she made recommendations for alternative flowers we could use that were in season or things we could simplify. Everything was absolutely stunning on our special day and the flowers really elevated the natural beauty of the outdoor venue. Everybody was so impressed by her work which received many compliments. She really went above and beyond and I am so glad that we used Iris & Barry Blooms for our wedding. -

Amazing florals!!
Michelle did such an amazing job with my flowers! She definitely took her time to understand my vision and worked with me and my planner to make it come true. I had so many compliments on all of my flowers and my guests and I were very very impressed!! I am definitely thankful and cannot be any happier!!! Definitely recommend her and would not choose anyone else!! -

Easy-going and extremely talented
Michelle is an incredibly talented florist! Her pairings and easy-going nature were a true gift for our wedding. She was very flexible, especially on the morning of the wedding when we realized we didn’t have the same arrival time! (45 minutes off) She handled my mistake with grace and couldn’t have created more perfect arrangements. It was important to me to be able to repurpose florals from the ceremony to the reception and it seems her and her team specialize in this because it only took 10 minutes for them to all be fully repurposed! She was also able to create extensive and detailed mood boards until we settled on the perfect look. I could not have been happier with her work, her professionalism, and her artistic vision! -

The most amazing team!
Michelle and her team were a dream to work with. We had a last minute change in venue and numbers and even though she had every right to cancel, she was instead so gracious and understanding. She remained so supportive throughout the entire process, was easily reached via email and phone calls, and exceeded our expectations with her beautiful floral designs. On the day of our wedding, she and her team were incredibly helpful and patient with the chaos of the day, and went above and beyond with delivering our dream floral arrangements that included a gift for our memorial table as my mother had recently passed away. Michelle and her team do everything with grace and kindness and they were honestly the nicest. Thank you for making my vision come to fruition, it was a dream! ❤️ -

Iris & Barry Blooms delivered the best wedding floral experience from start to finish. I originally booked with Michelle pre-pandemic for my wedding that was later postponed I don't even know how many times. She was able to stay flexible through it all and was there when we finalized for April of 2022.
Not only was she able to stick with us through COVID, but she was also able to pinpoint exactly what I wanted as far as florals through my very vague explanations. My floral recipe was divine and I was in absolute love seeing them for the first time. Michelle is a true artist and has such an eye for design and composition. I am so happy I dedicated most of my budget to the florals and greenery. The flowers really made it feel like a wedding.
I feel that it is rare, but not only is Michelle a wonderful florist and business owner, but she is a wonderful person. Genuinely kind, empowering, and loves what she does. A thank you is simply not enough.
I highly recommend Iris & Barry Blooms to any newly engaged couples. -

Hi hired Michelle for my wedding, and let me tell you-- she is a rockstar! She was so kind and communicated efficiently throughout the entire planning time and wedding day! She was felxible with me when I changed my color scheme and vision, and also added some last minute florals close to the wedding. She made me feel very comfortable with what she was going to produce the wedding day. She also creates this AMAZING mood board for you based off of what you tell her your colors are, and the vibe you are going for. I am a visual person, so this helped tremendously and is one of the things that set her apart from the rest. The day of my wedding, the flowers were even more beautiful than I expected. Her team did a great job transitioning the arch flowers to our sweetheart table- everything was stunning! She is truly a professional. I would highly recommend her to any friends, family, and future bride. -

Floral Perfection!
Iris & Barry Blooms work is pure perfection!
Let me just begin by saying, hiring Michelle to be your florist will be one of the easiest decisions of your wedding planning process. Michelle is so sweet, kind, patient, understanding, reliable, professional, and gifted. It's very clear that she genuinely cares about her brides and her work. From our initial phone call, I knew we found our florist. Michelle attentively listened to my vision, provided her expert advice, was receptive and respectful of my opinions, and took my floral vision to a whole other level. I love how transparent she is and how she creates the personalized mood boards so you can see your vision come to life before the wedding day.
I don’t know how many ways I can express how talented she is and how beautiful her floral arrangements are. Even with the potential changes that had to be made due to the pandemic floral shortage, I knew that all I had to do was trust Michelle and her work because I knew she would deliver. And let me say, when she delivered my flowers on the wedding day, all I could do was hug her because I was that blown away.
Just do yourself a favor and book with Michelle today. Trust me, you need Michelle as your florist. I will recommend Michelle again and again.

Beautiful wedding flowers
We hired Iris & Barry Blooms to do our wedding flowers and couldn't be happier with how they turned out. We had to postpone our celebration once due to COVID but Michelle made the process super easy. After linking her to my Pinterest page and answering a few questions, she provided me with a custom mood board that perfectly captured the look I was going for. On the day of the wedding we had a bit of trouble with our chuppah, and Michelle was nice enough to help with getting it to stay up (and then making it look gorgeous with her floral designs). We got lots of compliments on our color scheme and Michelle's flowers were a huge part of that! -

Michelle of Iris & Barry Blooms was so amazing to work with and really delivered for our big day! I didn't go in knowing exactly what type of flowers I wanted or anything, but did have some ideas about color directions and vibe of the venue. Michelle took my ideas and then built on them, delivering me the perfect combo of color and flower recipe that was somehow both tropical and colorful, but still muted and elegant at the same time. Her arrangements made the tables and the floral arch we did the ceremony over was breathtaking. She made a gorgeous lush and modern garland for our Memorial table honoring our loved ones who passed. I had no problems giving away arrangements at the end of the night, once I mentioned it, all of my guests jumped on taking them immediately and then sent me follow up photos of the flowers THRIVING in their homes the next day. Michelle and her team were flexible when changes came up, helped advise me with design decisions so everything was cohesive, and were always professional, kind, and helpful every step of the way. You're in excellent hands with Iris & Barry Blooms, who delivered above and beyond my expectations. I got so many compliments on our flowers. I couldn't have been any happier with how everything turned out. -

The flowers were beautiful, and the experience of working with Michelle of Iris & Barry Blooms was wonderful. My outdoor COVID Zoom wedding was Feb 7, 2021 with art deco gold accents. What I appreciated most about Michelle was her professionalism and methodical, clear process and communication. When we discussed and agreed on flowers, she provided a mood board with photos of the exact flower types and color tones to expect, so there was no fumbling what we were going to get as a result of my not knowing floral lingo. At no point did I feel rushed nor a need for her to "spit it out." Like her, I'm a one-woman business and was super busy. It was a huge win and comfort to feel I could trust her because there was clarity on what I was getting. From discussing ideas and styles to making actual floral decisions, to shuttling the contract back and forth and firming up day-of logistics and final product, she delivered at every point (not so for all my other vendors). And she was very affordable considering the size of the pieces she assembled. I got so many compliments on the flowers. I'm very very grateful we worked with Michelle. Would highly recommend. -

I cant recommend Iris & Barry Blooms enough - Michelle and her team were absolutely lovely to coordinate with leading up to the event and were incredibly helpful and accommodating when it came to last minute changes. The bouquet she created for my wedding was more unique and beautiful that i could have imagined. Michelle completely understood my vision, and is incredible talented as a florist. The centerpieces, and flowers for my chuppah were gorgeous, and the wedding guests have continued to complement on the stunning and unique arrangements. I can’t say enough nice things about Michelle. Her work for our small Covid wedding was absolutely beautiful. With limited guidance she was able to execute our vision flawlessly, creatively, and within budget. In addition, I emailed her a few days before in a panic asking if she could please bring a few additional flowers to decorate our cake and she was able to accommodate us without batting an eyelash. More than anything, though, Michelle is the consummate professional - she is communicative, prompt, and a great listener. She made wedding flowers a total set-it-and-forget-it breeze. We decided to have a tiny Covid-safe wedding in the midst of this pandemic and reached out a bit late but Michelle and her team were able to design the perfect floral arrangements for our backyard wedding. Michelle and her team were absolutely amazing and completely exceeded my expectations for my wedding flowers. I changed my mind on the colors a couple of times and she was so flexible and made sure that everything was exactly how I wanted! She drove all the way from LA to our wedding in La Jolla and was so reasonably priced compared to all other quotes I got from other florists. I would highly recommend Iris and Barry Blooms!! -

She offered different suggestions based on our budget and worked with us to make sure everything was exactly the way we envisioned it. I had wanted a specific look for our ceremony, and she had pillars custom made to make that happen - talk about going above and beyond! The bouquets for the wedding were gorgeous and everyone raved about the table arrangements. We even kept some of them for our brunch the next day and they still looked great! Her vision for our wedding was even better than we could have imagined and we are so grateful to her for making our day even more beautiful.

I can't even begin to say enough wonderful things about what she created, everything looked so effortless and beautiful. Michelle is a true artist and you can see it in every piece she makes. Her unique style makes it so that she is able to bring that creative twist with even the smallest detail. Michelle was on time, fair on pricing, professional and passionate about her work. (Which makes the process so much easier and fun!)
I've worked with Michelle on other occasions as well. She has designed everything from graduation and get well soon arrangements to stylish flower crowns that I've used for various photoshoots. I am forever grateful to Michelle for making all of my floral needs exceed my expectation. All that to say, Michelle will be the first person I call whenever I have the need for flowers!
