Irene and her team at IQ Floral Designs are the best of the best. From the moment we had our first phone call together, Irene truly understood our vision and was willing to think outside of the box to help us get the impact that we wanted within our budget. The team not only executed the wedding florals of our dreams, but the entire process was seamless from beginning to end. Irene truly knocked it out of the park when it came to our florals. I gave her my vision as far as color palette and told her to make it shine with the best in-season florals, and she absolutely crushed it. I cried when I saw how beautiful my bouquet came out. Her florals truly made our reception venue come to life, and we got so many compliments from guests on our florals. Irene is also a lovely person to work with and was so kind and professional to us throughout the wedding planning process. I can easily say that IQ Florals was one of the best investments we made for our wedding, and we would recommend Irene to any of our friends and family getting married in the Northern VA area. -

To say Irene and the whole IQ Floral Designs team were absolutely incredible from start to finish would be an understatement. From the first time we ever spoke Irene was so polite, kind, professional, and passionate. I didn't always know what I wanted and Irene listened and mocked-up plans throughout all my indecisiveness until we landed on a plan that was perfect— and always within budget (something other florists we inquired with were not as understanding of)! Irene was so communicative and an all around joy to work with. I can't stress enough how accommodating IQ floral designs was— whether it was embracing a new ceremony arch idea, thinking up the perfect candle color for my late game addition of pinks/blush, driving an hour down for the venue walk-through day, moving the ceremony florals indoors to be repurposed for the reception, or showing up early to the venue on the wedding day to provide the photographer with extra fresh florals for the details/flat lay pictures, they did it all. The end result was simply beyond stunning (the pictures speak for themselves). My jaw was on the floor when she sent me a sneak peek of the florals two days before the wedding and it truly calmed my nerves and got me even more excited for how it would all come together. Irene saw my vision and executed it beyond what I could have dreamed up. The ceremony arch, large pillars flanking the aisle, the reception table bouquets and candle combinations, the STUNNING bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets, the extra florals for pictures and the cake...it was all perfection. We are so truly so appreciative of all that IQ Floral Designs did for us and how easy and enjoyable they made the floral process for us. The florals elevated our wedding so much by bringing to life the romantic elegant feel of it and were one of the most complimented elements of our wedding. I'd recommend IQ Floral Designs a million times over to anyone!! Thank you, thank you, thank you IQ Floral Designs!! -

When beginning to look for florists for our wedding, we had some issues finding a vendor that fit what we were looking for in terms of need and budget. We found Irene and IQ Floral Designs through a Reddit post and were so lucky that we did!
Working with Irene was a dream! She understood what we desired for our May 2024 wedding and delivered everything we could ask for and more! Irene was so easy to communicate with and was very creative in putting together our special day in a way that was unique to us, all at a very reasonable cost. She really took the time to get to know us throughout the planning process and it showed in the execution of our day.
Could not recommend the IQ team enough for weddings in the DMV area! -

Omg I loved working with Irene. She has the best personality and creative mind. Her floral arrangements are flawless and carefully thought out. The bouquets and arrangements for my wedding were gorgeous, and I haven’t seen a single arrangement from other weddings she’s been a part of that I didn’t love. Irene was such a joy to interact with and you can tell that she is passionate and takes pride in her work, and she also takes the time to address concerns, answer questions, and make her clients feel comfortable and trust the process.
Side note- my venue owners loved working with her so much, they immediately added her to their preferred vender list after only meeting her once-that is how amazing she is at what she does and how she interacts with those around her.
If I ever have another event where I want to add an extra element of class, I would absolutely reach out to Irene again. -

We love Irene!
We had the pleasure of working with Irene for our wedding this past September. From our first phone call, Irene was able to bring my (very poorly worded) vision to life. I didn’t have a super clear vision, or know the names of most of the flowers / greenery I was envisioning, but she completely understood as was evidenced in our proposal. Even more, she looked at our venue to help with suggestions and was even giving suggestions for how we could reuse arrangements to save money and use the florals to help decorate our specific space. She also helped us think through exactly what we needed and continued to take add ons throughout the process. Our venue director even mentioned that she hadn’t seen a florist stay back to completely repurpose things like that before. On top of her expertise and professionalism, she is just a complete gem of a human and we had the best time working with her. -

A dream coming true - Magical!
I loved my flowers so much. Irene brought my vision to reality. I wanted bold, romantic flowers with Bridgerton vibes and she nailed it. Thank you Irene for taking the time to understand my ideas and make my day not only special but magical.

IQ floral designs is the real deal. They are open to anything you want and envision your wedding day to look like, and they still manage to make it look better than what you could have possibly dreamed of. Irene not only worked with me once, but two times over the course of 2 years because my wedding reception was postponed due to COVID-19. She is amazing and clearly shows how much she cares through the quality of her work. She responded to my countless emails, was punctual for the event, and provided the most beautiful flowers! She is also really kind! I told her that the flowers she provided made the colors really stand out in our photos. We had so many compliments about the flowers and I love looking at them in the photos from both of our events from 2020 and 2022. We met Irene at the DC Wedding Expo in 2019. Her beautiful designs and professionalism made it an easy choice to book her for our May 2020 wedding. When COVID hit, Irene was beyond flexible in helping us move our date multiple times. Finally we had our event in April of 2022 and Irene hit it out of the park. Her gorgeous flower arch was the talk of the event. The centerpieces were stunning as well. Irene was an absolute pleasure to work with and will be a friend for years to come. -

Irene is not only the most kind hearted person you'll work with for your wedding, but her work is truly beautiful. We had a specific vision for our ceremony flowers that wasn't able to come to fruition, but Irene worked with us to make sure our ceremony was beautiful and we ended up liking what she did way more than anything we ever could have dreamed up. Everything was beautiful from the flowers at our ceremony to the bridal bouquets to the centerpieces at our reception and everything in between. Irene truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, cared for, and so special. We had a venue change from ceremony to reception and repurposed florals used at the ceremony for the reception. Irene and her team handled all of this flawlessly. Everything looked beautiful all day and all night. Everything from our first phone call with Irene to the very end of our wedding day was handled with professionalism, joy and the best customer service. We ended up having to add on to our order last minute and she was so accommodating. Cannot recommend her enough! She is the nicest person and her work is beautiful! -

When I explained my wildflower vision to her, I could feel her genuine excitement. Without a doubt, I could tell that Irene has an authentic passion for florals and for connecting with the couples she works with. Irene’s interpretation of my wildflower vision exceeded what I even thought was possible! She used local flowers and greenery of all different colors and textures to create whimsical, bohemian arrangements for our arch, bouquets, and table decor. A Cinderella wedding couldn’t have been done without the help of Irene from IQ Floral Designs. Irene careful listened to our desires even when we were unable to express what we wanted she was able to envision and delivered the most amazing work of art with flowers. She did search and found the flowers that we wanted even though they were out of season, that is how dedicated she is to make dreams come true. Everyone till this day complements us on our wedding. We were grateful she was willing to travel so close to the holidays, Christmas was around the corner. The centerpieces lasted several days, 1 guess from each table was able to take them and they each said they were able to use them for their holiday decorations. The centerpieces had double purpose and I loved it.

Irene was incredible to have as my wedding florist. Not only were the flowers she provided beautiful, but the flexibility she offered to me during the pandemic was amazing. Because of the pandemic, my wedding party numbers changed several times and Irene was very open to all of the changes. Also, I realized at the last minute that my flower girls couldn’t toss wedding petals and she helped me come up with another option that was beautiful. Irene clearly loves what she does and this is seen through her work. I highly recommend her! -

Please do not hesitate picking Irene for your wedding! I swear I wanted her to take over as my coordinator, decorator, photographer you name it! She’s so hands on, knows her stuff and whatever look you are going for she will make it work and will make it look better than your vision! Amazing vendor!
As soon as I had my first appointment with Irene, I knew she would be my florist! She is so detail oriented, flexible and has such a fun personality. As soon as I explained my expectations she saw my vision immediately and delivered exactly what I asked for! My mother is so hard to please and she even was amazed at her work and that speaks volume. Without a doubt this was the easiest and less stressful part of my wedding planning because I trusted Irene completely. Plans changed so many times due to covid and Irene would kindly check in and make sure I was handling everything ok! I am so glad I went to that bridal expo found IQ Floral -

She worked with my budget and was very accommodating making it very easy and comfortable to work with her. The icing on the cake was finally meeting her the day of my wedding. I met Irene at the DC Bridal Expo back in December of 2019. You could immediately see her love for her work and the love she had for each and every bride she worked with. We scheduled a consultation at our home in which she brought us a bouquet so she could show us exactly what textures and colors we were looking at. We discussed prices and ideas including my idea of a faux flower photo wall. The very next day she went to our venue to measure out the wall to give us a more accurate quote. We were so impressed that we booked her. Then Covid hit... she was so flexible with everything! We rebooked her for the following year and bought a bouquet for our private “mini-wedding” we had on our original date. The bouquet for my “mini-wedding” was so gorgeous that I cannot wait to see what she does for our big wedding. -
