Working with Sara and Cristi was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding! They are such great people to work with! Not to mention that the venue is gorgeous! They will really go above and beyond to make sure the day is beyond perfect. Couldn't recommend this venue enough! -

Everything about my wedding was perfect. Cristi Johnson really blew me away with the whole day. The location is breathtaking and I couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding space. -

Very happy with our choice in deciding to hire Iola Lakeside Events as our venue. They are very friendly and accommodating! Have had ample opportunities to tour and show family members the venue to get ideas for our big day! Beautiful location as well! -

When my husband and I were engaged, we looked at loads of venues; but Iola Lakeside Events just simply couldn't be beat for their price, and all that it included (chair and table set up/tear down, access to their backdrops and decorations, a day-of coordinator, beautiful lighting already set up, and loads more). We ended up using their decorations, altar options, and between those and chair/table set up/tear down, it saved us so much stress and money. For the wedding day they did NOT disappoint; they were incredibly kind, professional, informative, and helpful the whole way. For the wedding itself, our day-of coordinator (Chelsea, we miss you!) was very calm as she managed so many behind-the-scenes details. I had to throw some schedule changes at her and she handled them so kindly and helped make them happen. And the venue itself is absolutely beautiful; the outdoor greenery is so pretty for any season, and the indoor barn is an elegant beauty. The included lights are absolutely stunning and perfect for any time of day. I cannot recommend them enough!

Iola lakeside exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We couldn’t be happier with how our day turned out. Cristi & Sara were on top of it all from day one. They made sure we had a perfect wedding. The location is breath taking. Our guest loved it! Highly recommend with sticking with the vendors they supply in their package they are all amazing! Amazingly flawless
Sarah, Angela and Cristie were beyond amazing... Im sorry I didnt catch the names of the men on staff, they were all amazing also. There was a torrential down pour minutes before the wedding and the team seamlessly and flawlessly moved the ceremony inside (before it rained). Everyone's attention to detail was superb! You could really see and feel the love and warmth coming from the heart's of EACH staff member. I would DEFINITELY recommend this venue!! Thank you guys for an unforgettable wedding ❤❤❤ -

Kimber Sent on 04/20/2018Where do I start? I find it hard to put into words how wonderful the people who own this venue truly are. I gave them five stars because I don't think you could have a better experience anywhere else. I found Iola Lakeside events for my wedding and then I recommended them to my friend who was married there on 2-17-18 (my wedding is not until November 2018) My friend is very sick and planned her wedding while undergoing radiation treatments. She planned it about 2 months so there were a few things we didn't think of. Sara was there every step of the way to help with the finishing touches. She help wherever she was needed and truly helped fulfill the wishes of my friend, the beautiful bride. The entire family was amazing to work with. They are Godly and kind. I cannot wait for my own wedding here.

Hinrichs Wedding
Our wedding at Iola Lakeside was even more perfect than we could of imagined. Sara was always quick to reply and offered wonderful different options for packages and pricing that fit for our head count and budget. Sara and her family were so attentive on our big day with every wish and detail we had. From helping with set up to wiping down chairs numerous times when we had a little sprinkle before walking down the aisle, we felt so comfortable knowing our guests were in such great hands. We could not of asked for a better wedding day and we would highly recommend this venue for any wedding, party or event you are planning; you will not be disappointed! -

Andrew and I got married on 6th October and the entire process was easy from first view of the property until the day of!
This was the 3rd venue we looked at and this was by far the best service and price!
Sara was extremely friendly and welcoming and helped us with decor and organising the day!
The day-of coordinator also did a good job making sure the entire event ran smoothly.
They set up the entire ceremony and reception seating arrangements, and even provided additional decor for us such as swings and a bon fire. We highly recommend Iola Lakeside Events! -

We held our wedding there April 6th 2018 , and it was absolutely amazing, Sarah went above and beyond for my wedding and myself. All my guests raved about how beautiful it was and how much they loved the venue! Definitely recommend for any bride!
