Inviting Affairs created the invitations for our rehearsal dinner on Lady Bird Lake. Michelle, the owner, created a beautiful design for the invitation with the Austin and New York City (where my wife and I met) skylines in the background and two boats in the foreground. Michelle worked with me to make sure that we were able to get letterpress invitations with a very quick turnaround time. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and she was happy to make several adjustments (in short order) to the proof to make sure I was happy with the final product. Thank you Michelle, and I recommend Inviting Affairs as an excellent option for your invitation needs.

As many of you know, the wedding planning process involves a lot of compromising, which isn't always fun.... but that is life. However, my save-the-dates and invitations are one place where I got exactly, 100% what I wanted.

Wynne helped me along the way and I could not have done it without her! We started the process looking at books for inspiration, and she really took the time to get to know me and learn about my wedding, and also what was realistic design-wise and budget-wise. She then created something completely unique, that people are still commenting on.

My favorite part was the custom envelope liners that she designed... I'm getting married on Martha's Vineyard and she created a liner that looks like a Vineyard Vines pattern.

She spent so much time helping me figure out what I like, and don't like, made sure that I chose an appropriate size so my postage rates would not be astronomical, and helped me hand assemble 250 cards. I'm so thankful about the finished product-- it really set the tone for my entire wedding.

I would highly recommend Inviting Affairs to any bride who wants sincere service, out-of-the-box thinking and gorgeous paper goods!

Wynne was such a pleasure to work with! She designed the save the dates, wedding invitations and wedding programs for my daughter's wedding and all were beautiful. Wynne is very responsive, creative and helpful and always so pleasant and courteous.

Wynne at Inviting Affairs was so great to work with! She helped me out so much with getting our invitations designed quickly with our short engagement. Our "Smock" letterpress invitations were such a hit. All my friends commented on how pretty they were. Wynne was always so responsive and helpful! Next invitations to get will be baby shower stuff...I will definitely go back.

I can not say enough good things about this shop. First of all it is the cutest store I have ever been in and I loved their selection of gifts. Pass all of that (if you can pass all it) is an amazing selection of wedding invitations. It took some time but we found the perfect invitation. We thought we wanted one thing but we really wanted something else and they helped us to realize that. The whole process was smooth and loved the final product. We also got our programs and reception cards there and everything was affordable and amazing quality.

I can't say enough good things about this business. Michelle and her team worked with me to create a gorgeous custom-designed invitation suite. They even do custom letterpress for less than what you'll see elsewhere! The designer, Emma, looked at my inspiration pictures and put together a truly stunning set for me - I received many compliments that my invitations were incredibly well-designed, unique, classy, gorgeous, etc.

The staff at Inviting Affairs was very helpful and their selection of beautiful wedding invitations was incredible. It was so fun to browse through their invitation books and they had such a good selection of Crane, Martha Stewart, Vera Wang etc. I highly recommend Inviting Affairs.

I would recommend using Lindsey at Inviting Affairs. She helped me pick out invitations that were perfect for what we were looking for. We has a small mix up on the color of the inner envelopes and they corrected right away and sent them overnight to me. They were a pleasure to work with and I will defiantly use them again for any invitation needs.

Everyone loved our wedding invitations! It was definitely a big bang for our buck. Lindsey was wonderful to work with, and very helpful. I was very pleased with the end result.

Excellent to work with. Found a gorgeous invite, on a recycled paper, with reasonable pricing. Considering I was prepared to order them online and print them myself, I am grateful for their assistance, value, and overall product. I saved myself a few headaches!

They were very helpful and made it easy to order my invitations. The first set that I ordered didn't look right in the color I chose for the wording and they recognized this immediately and reordered replacements right away so there would be plenty of time to get them sent out. Very nice work.

The final product provided was beautiful. They were very helpful in getting things in a short time period and it was really obvious they loved their jobs.

Great place to find reasonable priced wedding invitations. They can also custom make your invitations to your liking. Ours turned out beautifully, highly recommend!

Lindsey at Inviting Affairs is the girl in the know! She was so helpful in assisting us and made sure that we had exactly what we wanted. When our invitations first were printed, our pale pink ink turned out dark red (not what we wanted) and we were a bit skeptical. Then Lindsey assured us that we would be taken care of and when we got our invitations completed they were BEYOND perfect. I was so happy with the way all of my wedding stationary turned out and would recommend Inviting Affairs to any Austin bride.

We worked with Inviting Affairs to create our wedding invitations. They turned out beautifully and the two-person staff was plenty nice. The only downside is that they don't have much seating, and each time we went in it was quite cramped. Also, I didn't find the person who helped us with our invitations to be too helpful when I asked her for wording recommendations, but it's not too big of a deal as I guess it's all up to personal preference in the end anyways. Comparatively, too, with the other places I looked at for our invitations, the staff at every place seemed to be not too helpful other than to pull out the invitation sample books for customers and write out the receipts.

LOVE the ladies at Inviting Affairs. They were a ton of help to make sure that everything turned out just right...and when by mistake it didn't they worked with me until it was right. We ended up making custom post cards for out save the dates and all the ladies helped ensure that it looked to professional with their design expertise. Using invitations from here might be a little pricey but it is definitely worth it in the end.

I wasn't going to review this vendor but decided I should express my disappointment and frustration I had to experience. I am not saying this will happen to you but it did happen to me.

I was an out of town bride and drove to Austin to get my invitations made with Inviting Affairs. Our first visit was fantastic and our Save the Dates came out very nice. They were the post card kind so it wasn't very hard or detailed. Moving on to when it was time to get our invitations started is a whole other story. They assured me everything could be done via email so I wouldn't have to make trips to Austin. Communication was horrible through email. My first email I sent on April 19th was not answered and I was being patient and had to send a follow up email on May 8th when it was finally answered. To get a simple proof took 2 weeks after I had been waiting since April 19th. For the price I was paying the proof looked like something I could have made in Word. I was very disappointed and felt very uncomfortable with them to continue with my wedding invitations. I had already put down a non-refundable deposit and was willing to lose it due to lack of service and quality. It was not a little deposit either. Once I notified that I would not continue the owner finally emails me to offer a 15% discount for my troubles. It was a little too late at that point and really I think she should have refunded that deposit since they did nothing. I did get my invitations from another place from Atlanta, GA - my proof was sent promptly in 2 days and they actually were better then Inviting Affairs.

Prices quoted were not what was billed
Calligraphy turn-around is slow
When I asked questions, I never got answers
Barbie conventions interrupted my service (I wanted to order invitations but was told I would have to come back another time as the person covering the store was the former owner and not up with current lines, lead times, etc.)
