Mima was wonderful! She really worked with me from the start! I was very vague on what I wanted for our wedding other than the general style and colors. I sent her my Pinterest boards and she worked from there! She truly transformed our wedding in more than we could've ever imaged. She was very patient with all my questions and was very helpful when I sent some curve balls at her. She really accomplished everything and more. The flowers were beautiful, the candles and even the the items we rented from her were of great quality. She was always available via e-mail and when I needed to speak with her on the phone as well. We did a destination wedding so the communication was key. She was a terrific vendor and we are so happy we went with her!

Mima's style and expertise were fantastic. She far exceeded my expectations on decor for my ceremony and reception. The flowers were beautiful, elegant and classy. Everything and more than I ever could imagine. She has great vision and can extrapolate from very little information and made my wedding beautiful. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Thank you Mima! Oh my goodness, you have to hire her. Our wedding looked right out of a wedding magazine, or one of those shows "weddings of the rich and famous". We are *not* rich or famous by the way! Mima is priced fairly. In fact she is less expensive than some of the competition in the area.

From the beginning she was professional and ,most important in a destination wedding, RESPONSIVE. Responsiveness was a constant frustration in planning a wedding in PR, but Mima was always quick to reply and answer questions.

Mima wasn't on our original wedding planner's preferred vendor list, because she doesn't provide a complimentary table view prior to the event, unless you request it and pay an additional fee. Most other companies provide this. Believe me, you don't need it! Also Mima lives in Singapore most of the time (although she was in PR for my wedding). This did worry me a little, but she explained that her business has always been structured that she does the designing, and her sister executes the design. She has worked in PR for so long that she knows the venues and rooms well. I think she can do this in her sleep.Obviously, her sister is very talented too. I just got a good feeling from our conversations, and I'm glad I trusted my instincts. Both she and her sister designed the most beautiful room. Oh and my bouquet! You have no idea! We also rented our chairs for the ceremony and reception with her company. Everything was flawless.

She is also a really nice person. Thanks again Mima!

Mima was responsive, accomodating and professional from Day 1. She was able to understand exactly what I wanted and went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Not only did she accomodate to our budget, but everyone thought I had spent a fortune in flowers, when I didn't. The venue was breathtaking thanks to Mima's decorations. Highly recommended!

Inventos by Mima does beautiful work! I planned my wedding from Dallas and Mima made my dream wedding come true! She is absolutely one of the most talented wedding decorators I've seen and she does beautiful work. I sent her pictures of what I liked and she went above and beyond to capture the look of my dream wedding. The wedding ceremony and reception was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely recommend Mima to anyone looking for a decorator in San Juan.

Inventos By Mima did an outstanding job with the flowers for my son's destination wedding in Puerto Rico. Mima did the flowers and table decorations for the reception. Everything looked beautiful. Mima's floral arrangements were fantastic. Mima is easy to work with, professional, and extremely creative. I had to work with Mima via e-mail since this was for a destination wedding. Mima was always prompt in responding to my e-mails. I would highly recommend Inventos By Mima to others.

Mima was amazing. I used her services for both the ceremony and reception, but the reception only a few things. She was so great at emailing me back, amending the contract after a billion changes and delivering everything on time. I was very happy with her services and would recommend her to anyone.

Mima was INCREDIBLE! She took my vision and made it a reality. I was very adamant about only having ivory color for both my ceremony and reception sites. Our reception looked nothing like we had seen before, everything from the candles, flowers, vases and even the beautiful laced table cloths. Everything was on point! She was incredibly patient with me...planning a wedding from San Francisco is no easy task. All decisions were made through emails and pictures. I did not see anything until the day of my wedding. My husband and I were totally taken back when we entered our reception. Mima also took care of our rental for our tiffany gold chairs, this made the ceremony and reception site look so elegant! Me and my bridesmaids bouquets were delicate, simple but beautiful. I was truly satisfied with everything!

We got married at La Concha Resort in San Juan. Mima and her team made everything from our ceremony to reception look absolutely perfect and beautiful! I didn't have an exact vision of what I wanted for the big day other than the colors and I knew I wanted it simple/classic. I loved the work I saw Mima and team had done via her website and completely trusted her to take the reigns, she is the expert and did not disappoint! Not only did Mima and team do our floral arrangements for the ceremony, but also was able to provide rentals (linens, chairs, napkins, aisle runner etc) and really executed every detail in the decor set up, including setting up our escort cards on the table for the reception which I had carved out some time to do myself initially since I did not have a planner. It was such an amazing day. Not only was the execution and results flawless, but Mima is very responsive and extremely talented at what she does. I highly recommend Mima for your wedding!!

Exceptional!! She executed perfectly what I had envisioned for my dream wedding, in fact it was better than expected. It took me by surprise because she did not had any pictures from her previous work that was exactly what I wanted. I trust my gut of choosing her as my wedding decorator and the result was "my dream wedding". The communication with her is highly effective, she is very pleasant and easy to talk. She really knows how to work on your budget and at the same time be realistic with your expectations. I like her personally and professionally, and I would choose her all over again.

Mima is the cutest, most professional, considerate, understanding…(should I go on?), decorator/florist/magician I have dealt with, ever. Kept decoration within budget, but made it seem twice as expensive, always smiling, not even miffed when the couple came up with last minute ideas and changed their mind two minute later. A true flower that surrounds all it touches with its fragrance.

I cannot express how AMAZING Mima and her team are! Mima was able to capture my vision of a soft, romantic chic decor to perfection! As soon as I saw my bouquet when it was brought to my room when I was getting ready I knew that the ceremony and reception decoration were going to be perfect and sure enough the flowers and the intricate details with candles just took my breath away.
I loved working with Mima not only because of how beautiful everything turned out at the end, but also because of her professionalism and attention to details. For the months leading to the wedding Mima was very quick to respond to any emails, texts, or calls with any questions I had. I would not change one thing from our wedding decorations, she exceeded my expectations. I relied a lot on reviews when I was planning my wedding and because of that I wanted to share my amazing and beautiful experience with working with Mima, so you too can have a picture perfect wedding :)

Mima and her team literally saved my wedding day. I should first say that the entire decoration planning process with her was fun and simple. She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She has an amazing sense of style, and her talent is one in a million. She has the best of both worlds: knowledge and experience in flower arrangements and a keen eye for beautiful decor. I sent her a few photos and details of what I liked, and she was able to take that vision and turn it into so much more than I could ever dream of. Guests raved about the wedding decor. It was everything I ever wanted and so much more.

Most important, in the midst of what could have been a disaster, she saved the day. Because of sporadic rain, we moved my reception indoors. Once she arrived at the hotel, she and my mom realized that the back up location had not been prepared. As my mom had to demand a new backup location 6 hours before the wedding, Mima kept her calm and at ease. Mima resolved the highly tense conflict with the hotel event planning team, in our favor. She selected a new gorgeous backup location, which turned out to be more beautiful than all other locations including the one originally chosen. My groom and I were so confident in her talent and care for us, that I deferred all venue and decor decisions to her the morning of my wedding.

Our decoration was very complicated, detailed, and involved. She was able to decorate our ceremony location and the new reception location with 2 hours less of time than planned. Everything was gorgeous and flawless! It was a very windy day, on top of a hill overlooking the ocean. All of the arrangements held up.

Her care and attention to detail made this an amazing experience. Her talent is unique. Her radiant personality and positive attitude was a joy to work with.

Mima was super sweet and understanding. Once I saw her work in a magazine I knew my search was over. The first meeting was very easy going and she was able to grasp what I envisioned for my wedding day and even made suggestions to make it really dramatic. When I was asked who my wedding decorator was there was not one person who didn't know who she was and talked praises about her work and professionalism. When I walked into my reception with my husband I felt I was in my fairy tale wedding. Some may find her price to be expensive but I can honestly say the price difference isn't that significant and it is worth every single penny. She will make your visions a reality and treat your concerns and your requests with the up most importance. You will never regret choosing her. From the minute I met her I knew I made the right choice and will never stop recommending her and taking praises about her. She is amazing!

Inventos By Mima was definitely one of the best choices I made while planning my Wedding. Mima was always so down to earth, always available when contacted, looking for ways to take my decoration ideas and turn them into reality. I only gave her some tips and let her do the rest. Although I knew that she would do a great job, I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised that she EXCEEDED our expectations. I got married in San Juan , PR and used Inventos by Mima for my bouquet/boutonniere.
This was a destination wedding .

The flowers were beautiful (Exactly like the photo I emailed to the Florist).

The Florist even placed a beautiful broche on the bouquet and delivered the flowers to our hotel .

I needed a piece of Ivory ribbon for my maid of honor and could not find any ivory ribbon within a 25 mile radius and the florist saved my life !
She brought me some extra ribbon and a beautiful vase to put my flowers in after the ceremony.

Their kindness, generosity and professionalism could never be matched!

Mima did an AMAZING Job!! When I walked in, I felt like I was on My Fair wedding with David Tutera it was that beautiful. I was transported to a wonderland!! My guest kept commenting on how beautiful everything was and all i could do was nod YES (I was speechless). My bouquet was super wow they were Roses with bling, and my centerpieces were amazing! Can you tell that I am still speechless? There are no words that can accurately describe how beautiful, amazing, outstanding it was.

I recommend Iventos by Mima to every bride and groom seeking a decorator for their weedding in PR. Nyrma and her team are truly capable of transforming ideas and dreams into reality. I will like to highlight Nyrma's personalized service, her availability and openess to discuss ideas,her suggestions, her sincere desire and willingness to please us in all our requests for such a special day. My weeding was planned in only 3 months and every single detailed discuss during such a short time was considered and present both at the wedding ceremony and reception. I used Inventos by Mima for my destination wedding. Working with her was a pleasure and the end result was magical. When I saw our decor I felt like she took my ideas that were in my head and made them a reality. Mima is sooo soo nice and she is very professional and she is a great listener.

My bridal bouquet took my breath away when I saw it I started to cry because of how beautiful it was. Speaking with her thru emails and text messages was so easy too.

I just cant say enough nice things about Mima, If I could do it all over again I wouldnt go anywhere else. I would hire her again in an instant.

Mima deserves 10 stars!! Mima's services and decorations were outstanding! The rooms were amazing! As a wedding coordinator, I typically decorate myself, but it would have been very difficult to travel with decorations coming from the states. I told Mima what I wanted and she prepared it to a tee! The colors, arrangements, and presidential table were exquisite!! We could not have asked for more. The couple, family, and friends were all impressed. She even had a rose petal runner. I was extremely pleased and wish I could use her services for all of my weddings. If I ever do another wedding in Puerto Rico, I will surely use Inventos by Mima!

I recently had my wedding at the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa in Rio Grande, PR. Inventos by Mima provided us with all of our flowers as well as table settings/arrangements for our reception. Mima exceeded our expectations! Multiple family members and friends said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever seen! Mima always responded promptly to emails (which was our main way of correspondence since I am from out of town) and was extremely easy to work with. All I did was tell her the color scheme for our wedding and sent her a few pictures to go off of and let her decide the rest based on her expertise! She does such beautiful work! I would definitely recommend her to any bride!!

We booked Mima as our decorator for our wedding in San Juan, Puerto Rico in June 2012. In fact, since I was also looking for a wedding coordinator at the time we found Mima online, she recommended her colleague Deisari Rivera from InStyle Events for wedding coordination. To put it simply, we hit the jackpot! Not only was her recommendation heaven-sent, her work was also absolutely exquisite. Mima was flexible in working with our requests as well as our budget, and with just one in-person meeting she was able to capture our vision. My bouquet was one-of-a-kind, and the flowers and decorations for our reception were truly breathtaking. I 110% recommend Inventos by Mima!

Mima was fabulous. I loved her style from my first visit to her website and when I met her in person it cemented my decision she was the only florist I wanted. I would say it’s really a gift- she listens to your ideas/visions, asks all the questions to gauge your style, favorite colors and the type of wedding you imagine. That’s really all you have to do! I put my faith in her creativity and taste and was blown away with how beautiful the final product was. When I saw the reception room for the first time I was just amazed—I’d seen the room before, I’d even seen pictures of other weddings in the same room but when you see your vision come to life it’s really an incredible experience. Choosing Inventos by Mima as your vendor will be one of the best decisions you will make when planning a wedding! She has excellent taste and will make your wedding a dream wedding a reality. She is taking the industry by storm and doing it with conviction. She was the first vendor on site in my wedding day and had a whole team of people working to make sure every single detail was as specified. Always so courteous and professional when addressing any concerns during the planning stages. Since the moment we enter the ballroom we were blow away by the artistic array of bases, flowers and lights that you selected for the reception. Additionally, the wedding area had the correct amount of color to frame the beauty of the beach terrace at Rincon. We were pleasantly surprise of the level of detail shown in the bride and maid of honor bouquets. Love her attention to detail. she made a couple of the centerpieces different but in a way that all the flowers complimented each other and the rest of the decoration so well. she can make anything happen even if you are not sure what your view of the flowers are. just tell her what you like and she will take your breath away with the most beautiful decoration on the most important day of your life..it will truly be unforgettable!!

One of my guests told me "I have to say that your wedding was one of the nicest ones we have been to. The overall setting was out of this world, the tables were elegant and beautifully arranged, the center-pieces on the table were wonderful." This truly sums up just how beautifully decorated the event was. I was so pleased with everything -- from the ceremony and reception decor, my bouquet, to the corsages -- all of what was beyond what I even expected! Mima is an artist. She took my vision and made it even more fantastic and fabulous! The ceremony site at Hotel El Convento, the Patio del Nispero, was still under construction and she figured out how to layout the ceremony so it could still be in the Patio. She is extremely creative, professional and a type A personality, which is what you want in someone that is handling your decor. She is also really sweet and kind and totally willing to work with you and your budget. Mima also handled all the rentals (great price on Tiffany chairs) and set up the ceremony and reception space. When I walked into the finished Salon Martorell, I was completely speechless! I actually choked up from how beautiful the room looked and the feeling in the air of whimsy and romance. I wanted a lot of pink and purple, shabby chic style but a bit over the top. It turned out better than anything I've ever seen in a magazine and really beyond my imagination. I don't have enough words to thank Mima. Thanks to her I had the wedding of my dreams!

Our Ceremony and Reception decor/flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I was planning our wedding from afar so I just emailed a few pictures of decor I liked. Our budget wasn't huge so I was expecting it to pretty but it was better than I could have ever imagined. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have seen. I hired Mima to be the Coordinator for my weeding and I could say only one thing about my decision, Thank You Mima!!!! She really wasn't like any other coordinator. She was completely inmersed into every aspect of the wedding and was constantly asking for my opinion and suggestions to make sure that I had the dream wedding that i always wanted.

After hiring Mima to coordinate my wedding I asked her about certain suggestions for everything from music to photographers. Everybody she suggested was the best at what they did.

Mima was attentive, respectfull, and everybody gave me compliments during the wedding about how they just loved everything. I was so pleased to hear numerous people come up to me and tell me that my wedding was one of the most beatifull events that they had ever taken part of.

She has the ability to understand what what you want and recreate what you have in your mind of the decoration the most important day in your live. Mima is the best. We planned our wedding from India. All we sent to Mima was little pieces of fabrics with the wedding colors and couple of pictures of our ideas for decoration. Couple of days before the wedding I met Mima and gave her the silks and the brocade fabrics I brought from Mumbai, India for the decoration. By that time Mima already had an idea on how to decorate the ballroom.

The ballroom looked gorgeous and I was amazed on how she transformed the ballroom with all the decorations. She has a talent for decoration and we were very pleased with the result. All our guest had very good comments about her work.

Mima must definitely has a magic wand some where… with all honesty I am very demanding person and I pay close attention to detail, service and overall professionalism. I really didn't have the time to search around with my busy schedule but my instinct didn't fail. Mima was able to transform a conglomeration of ideas into a refined expression of my inner self. She knew exactly what to do and how to achieve a "wow" factor in everyone. I had handkerchiefs, money clips, flip-flops, custom menus, chocolate menus, custom-made cake, costume accessories for the guests, MJ impersonator, Batucada band, a live 12 member band, 3 changes of dresses, 135 guests to entertain, 20 children to entertain, guests from various countries, a serenade for dinner, a spanish flamenco guitar performer … and to hold all these together a decor that was inspired by my travels to South Asia and the Middle-east. It sounds like a carnival if you were to ask me… but Mima made it work! She had the empowerment, finesse and savvy to orchestrate everything and turn it into a bespoke wedding. A wedding in which every guest had the time of their life and everyone including the children wanted the party to go on. Mima transformed the ballroom into a luxurious haven fit for a goddess. The delicate blue lighting, the mixture of exotic flowers embedded into soft blue hues of hydrangeas, the metallic motifs and candles, the Moroccan inspired lanterns, the tablecloths with white Indian embroidery over golden silk, the ghost chairs, white canopies that reflected different light hues, the illuminated dance floor… what else can I say? My husband and I instead of taking pictures in the cocktail hour… we decided to stay inside the ballroom and take it all in… I insist she has a magic wand! And I highly recommend her to any bride who seeks the outmost trends and wants their dream wedding come true.

I dont think there is no one else in Puert Rico that can deliver the elegance, the beauty, the professionalism, the magic that she can to your perfect and most important day! The next day my room was filled with all her beautiful flowers and I took one look at the beauty she created and I cried. Mima is the best! She takes care of everything. She is an excellent wedding coordinator and decorator. Her advice during this lovely and somethimes stressful moment was very accurate. Of all the vendors I had to deal with, not only for my wedding but for my sister's wedding, and other events, this vendor is BY FAR the best! She is extremely responsive, very professional and super flexible! The quality of the flowers provided were OUTSTANDING! I only used her as a florist, but she has the whole package! and I seriously wished I had her as my wedding planner as well, because even though her services were only providing flowers to me, she went out of her way to provide me with references, advice, support etc! (Who does that in these days??!)

The people at my wedding were stunned by the decoration. The reception was in El Convento Hotel, which is a very "spanish colonial type of" place. She added to this place exactly what I was looking for, elegance, beauty, class, style. I seriously felt I was in the royal wedding because of all the details in each flower arrangement.

She was always responsive like I said, which made me feel comfortable under the stress and on time on my wedding day. She even started decorating the place the day before!

Overall, I highly recommend Mima (which I have already) and she is probably the best right now in Puerto Rico in service, quality, creativity and value. I would recommend anyone to hire her as the wedding planner as well, if I could marry again, Inventos by Mima would be my #1 choice!

Mimas vision and esthetic gives you a sense of ease combined with an element of surprise... She is all about the details and how everythings plays together; but also, true artists respond to inspirations, innovations and tailored results. Nothing is cookie cutter with Mima. She has a way of personalizing your event, making it very distinctive of her talent but true to the brides wishes. She will surprise you with little things and new ideas that weren't initially thought of, but that add so much.... If Mima had something to do with it, people will know. No need for advertisement, her work speaks for it's self. And when you add her sweet, understanding, and bubbly personality to the mix, pre-wedding stress and fear will be the farthest thing on your mind! True professional, great value, superb quality!! There's no one like Mima. She puts so much passion and love in what she does that it shows in her work. I still can't believe the way that room looked like the day of our wedding. Amazing and excellent work! Since the beginning always had availability and the ability to know what we wanted. The attention of our demands were accepted and the coupling to their personal ideas which made the decor a work of art. All work was consulted and shown to have a real idea of what would be the final decoration. Mima its a excellent profesional and the right person you can trust such an important event. The day of the event, their work left us shocked and comments of the guests were excited to see a spectacular decoration. It was definitely what we wanted. A dream come true!

Destination weddings can be very stressfull and hard to plan however it was very easy working with Mima. Mima had a keen eye for our vision of our special day. She provided excellent ideas and advice. The moment we stepped into the reception hall our breaths were taken away by the beauty of the flowers and decoration arrangements. The most amazing coordinator and decorator ever! I was so surprised when I arrived at the location and see the beautiful flowers arrangements... She took all my ideas and provides her own, and go beyond my imagination. Very organized, professional and people-oriented. She confirms that all mayor and minor details (ceremony, food, and amenities) were orchestrated timely and were smoothly performed. Regarding the decoration, my colors were brown, cream and yellow, and she put all this colors in a very delicate way that my entire guests were very surprised. She includes roses, orchid, lilies and other flowers. Big plus: she used 4 different centerpieces that were distributed in the tables. Big, big, big plus: a very kind, inspiring women. If you want to sleep relax the day before your wedding, trust her. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Mima!

From the moment we met Mima we knew she was going to be fantastic! She was our wedding planner and she couldn't be any more responsive, proffesional and available. She made the planning process very calm and we were very comfortable with her. Even though it was not part of our contract for her to be present with our meetings with vendors, she still tried to make sure that she was there and that she was guiding us every step of the way. She definitely goes above and beyond the task at hand. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and was so fun because of it. We definitely could've not done it without her. If you are looking for a wedding planner, there is no need to look any further.

I would recommend Mima to any type of bride. I can give a list of the reasons why she is the best on what she does:
1. She loves her job
2. she masters the art of discussing with the bride and the groom all the topics especially the delicate ones, with such an assertive and easyness that I was impress. (ex. she convinced me of using a veil...and other things and i am so thankful).
3. She help me to negotiate some of the services I was receiving and always gave me good advise.
4. She was very responsible and fun!
She made the experience and process a fun one and especially a stress free one!
The day of my wedding It was a really dream, i didnt know what was happening (she took care of everything) and I saw the result a dream wedding!! she definitely knows how to do the magic!!
She has a great combination of professionalism, good taste, great carisma, fun!!, assertiveness...you end up feeling like you are doing this with a friend. If I marry again Ill take her again!!

I got married in San Juan Puerto Rico and inventos by Mima did my wedding planning. I have to say that it was a memorable and stress free experience, mostly as a result of their service. During the weeks before my wedding I was able to focus on our family and my personal last minute things. The wedding day was one that I would never forget, it was great!!! Seguramente el día de tu boda es el día que más haz idealizado en tu mente. Desde que comencé los preparativos de mi boda me imaginaba día a día como iban a quedar todos los detalles de ese día tan esperado. Sin duda alguna la decoración y las flores en una boda son un detalle único, mediante ellas se reflejan los gustos y las personalidades de los novios además de ser un detalle super importante en ese día. When my now husband and I met Mima on December 2006 we sensed that she was friendly, reliable, respectful of our ideas and had beautiful ideas of her own. We decided to contract her services immediately. After meeting with us several times during the process, which was easy and totally enjoyable, on the wedding day the decoration was a reflection of our personalities, everything was modern, simple and more beautiful than we expected. After four years my guests still talk about it and we are always complimented on the decor. We loved her work! There was not a single thing we could have wished to have been done differently.
We're so appreciative of all she did, in her own so very warm way and we couldn't recommend her more highly. Mima is now one of our friends and our wedding day could not have been more special without her art.

Until I had my own destination wedding, I never realized how helpful reviews are and I am hoping this helps whoever might find it. I found Inventos by Mima through my wedding planner. From looking at so many vendors, I automatically took to Mima's neat website and how she divided her images by theme. I was all about quality, exquisite taste and affordability. When you plan a wedding and especially a destination wedding, you truly hope your vendors take the ideas you give and run with them. I remember running late to get to my venue to change and being worried about the weather, when I finally arrived and saw the flowers and the table settings, it was the first point of the day that I sat and reflected on what the day was to come. Everything was so beautiful, exactly what I wanted...& more. Her set up was amazing, the flowers were healthy and all of the decor was so perfect. She went all the way & beyond and added such personal touches that reflected what I wanted. Her vision of color is on point. I remember walking into the room and seeing the bouquets on the bed. This woman is meant to do what she is doing, it is her art. I could not have picked a better person for decorating. She was within budget, but made the place look like a million bucks. Inventos by Mima was an excellent choice. Unfortunately, I had to reeschedule my wedding and she went beyond her wedding coordinator duties and contacted everyone including vendors and guests to inform about the situation in a very professional way. You will find that Mima always has her ears open to any suggestions and is always available if you have any questions. She never said an idea could not be accomplished and found ways to fit it into the budget. She is very talented and personable, ready to get to work. All my guest were so impressed with the decorations of the Church and reception. The decoration was so beautiful that my guests from Canada said it felt "Magical" when they entered the room. I highly recommend Mima as your wedding decorator.
