George and the International Sounds team created an unforgettable experience for my 9/6/2025 wedding! George made the planning process so seamless—he was very thorough from organizing and going over the pronunciations of our bridal party’s names before our grand entrance, to honoring every song request we had. George’s open communication made us feel so comfortable in knowing that he was going to put on an amazing event for us and he definitely delivered. We received so many compliments on the variety of music he played. Our guests were out on the dance floor the entire night (even those who did not know how to dance Greek during the traditional dances!) thanks to George and his team! We highly recommend International Sounds for all events!

A Night To Remember!!

There are not enough words to describe what an incredible night George created for our wedding. International Sounds was professional and treated us all like family. If you’re looking for the perfect DJ to make your wedding unforgettable, George is the one! He worked with me to create the perfect playlist and accommodated all of our requests. From start to finish, he was absolutely incredible. George took the time to understand our music preferences, worked with us to create a customized playlist, and had the perfect balance of crowd-pleasers and personal favorites. During the reception, the dance floor was packed all night. He knew exactly how to read the room, seamlessly transitioning between songs and keeping the energy high. This was really a full circle moment because George even was the DJ at my baptism 29 years ago. That is a testament of his talent. We cannot thank you enough George!!

Europop DREAM wedding!!! George is the best!

George Andreakos is the best!! He turned our wedding into a European dance club!!! From the start he was so easy to work with and knowledgable. We trusted him to basically play whatever he wanted - all we said is that we wanted it to be a wild dance party and for everyone to have fun. Fast forward to the wedding night, and it was a europop dream! Every song was a hit and got all 310 guests on the dance floor. & I’m not kidding…. Every guest was on the dance floor having an amazing time. He played the perfect amount of Greek and American music so everyone felt comfortable getting up to dance. We are receiving nonstop messages from our guests saying how amazing of a time they had. Everyone is saying it was the best night of their lives haha! He really made the night unforgettable!!!! 🤍 Can’t recommend him enough. Worth every cent!! Thanks George for making the night amazing!!

Amazing greek/american dj

WOW is all I can say. Everyone is still talking about the DJ at our sons wedding. We had 300 guests and everyone was dancing. The music was non stop. Just the right amount of Greek and George and his team made it seamless. We are getting calls and texts saying how amazing everything was especially the DJ. New York’s best, DJ

International Sounds is by far the best DJ in New York! We have used them for many of my children’s events over the years. Now my daughter‘s wedding this weekend it was absolutely amazing start to finish! He covered music to cover every ethnicity in our families. Everyone was happy! The Dancefloor was packed continuously the lighting was amazing! George is a true professional! He shows up himself to all events. He never disappoints! He’s very easy to deal with he listens he’s patient and he makes the event of your dreams come true I would highly recommend them and I’ll definitely use them again, no questions asked. The only DJ my family loves and trusts!

Who else can say that the DJ for their wedding was also the DJ for their christening? George is incredible. He has the ability to make any genre of music blend seamlessly into the next while still incorporating requests - greek, italian, latin, rock, pop... everything. 4 months later, our guests are still talking about how they physically couldn't get off the dance floor. In addition to being a no-brainer wedding decision which is always appreciated during planning, George was accommodating, communicative, and overall the best there is when it comes to entertainment. The most amazing dj

George was the DJ at my wedding on May 22, 2022 and he was absolutely AMAZING! Fun fact-he was the DJ when my mom married my step dad in 2008, and guests still rave about him. When I was planning my wedding, I made sure he was the first contract I booked! I’m Greek and my husband is Italian. I wanted a mixture of both traditional backgrounds and of course modern hits to get everyone on the dance floor! George did a magnificent job! He had all of my 175 guests dancing and raving about how good the music was. He was entertaining, fun, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to have. He made my wedding the absolute best, and I couldn’t have imagined anything different. I can’t wait to have another event to have George be the the DJ. Thank you for everything, especially for making my wedding day the best day ever!

George comes through every time! From my kids graduation parties to my daughter‘s sweet 16 and now her upcoming wedding I know it will be perfection!!! His team is professional! They go above and beyond! The lighting they use is magnificent! George himself actually took pictures at my daughter‘s sweet 16 and took a video for some reason we didn’t think to hire a photographer and George “the best pictures for us. My father passed away shortly after we were so lucky and grateful to get these pictures❤️ They take their work personally. It’s like dealing with family. Your party is like their party. International Sounds made our wedding day and night beyond enjoyable for both us and all of our guests. George was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and helped with organizing a string quartet for our ceremony as well as organizing a jazz band for our after party. The music selection George and his team played throughout the reception had everyone up and on the dance floor. In addition to music George also had a lighting team to create uplighting in the reception room which created a perfect romantic ambiance for our event. I just got married this past weekend and EVERYONE at the wedding (and even those who just saw the video) has mentioned how awesome our DJ was! George and his team had everyone on the dance floor the entire night (exactly what I wanted)! Not only was I blown away the night of our wedding but it was a real pleasure working with George and his team leading up to our wedding as well - They were very responsive and happy to accommodate anything and everything we wanted. They even drove over an hour away to visit our venue beforehand because they had never done an event there in the past. In addition to the amazing music, George was the best MC I have ever heard or seen. He was extremely professional and talented and did an incredible job at engaging the crowd. Everything was PERFECT. I have known George and his team for many many years and when the time came for my own Wedding there was no question on who would be our DJ/entertainment. We booked International Sounds for our wedding that just happened in April. George was amazing to work with. He dealt with my many emails and messages of questions throughout the whole planning process, and really delivered their best the day of our wedding! I honestly have no complaints! We gave them some songs we wanted to hear, which were played and then just basically gave them a time frame and genre of different music we wanted to hear. I will say that the music he surprised us with brought me back to my high school days! My husband also talked with George behind my back and surprised me with a song that my husband recorded for me. He works well with his clients and is very flexible in any changes made to the tradition of things! Lastly, we also used them for pictures with the flat screen tvs, and for videography. They are very quick in returning the pics and videos to you after your event, and their material is awesome! I will definitely be using them again for future events!

It is very hard to find a quality DJ to provide quality music and entertainment services, but I found the complete package In George and his team and could not be any happier. From out first dance to the last song of the night, George had everyone dancing, full of smiles and simply having fun. I actually had people tell me that they missed the appetizers because they couldn't stop dancing all night long. He was able to get people who do not dance off their chair and dance all night long. I want to recommend to anyone who is struggling to find the right DJ entertainment for their future wedding because on this special occasion, the last thing one needs to be worrying about is providing good quality entertainment. George and his crew are not DJ's but rather musical engineers who can put together the program of your choosing with confidence to providing their top level skills to make sure you and your guests are happy. George dj-ed our wedding last weekend and did a phenomenal job....we had a mix of younger and older guests who all made it out to the dance floor that night because of George's amazingly intuitive songs choices. Having been to many other weddings where the music was sub-par, I was naturally concerned about having great music at my own wedding....George took care of it. Would highly recommend his company to anyone planning a wedding - the director of our venue Gotham Hall loved him and so did my wedding planner. I was extremely picky and I can assure other picky brides that George is the way to go! He was one of the first vendors my husband and I picked and we could not have been more pleased. He is such a joy to work with and I was so at ease. I can't say this enough but he is a true professional and he did an outstanding job at my wedding! Several guests have told me it was the best wedding they have been to! You will not be disappointed.

We were very happy with International Sounds NYC. We we wanted our wedding to be tasteful without being boreing with music that was at a comfortabe volume so that our guests could talk have a good time. International Sounds NYC delivered that and more. The DJ's went above an beyond by seraching the internet to find the exact rendition of a song from the 1930's that I wanted. They were able read the crowd and played music that appealed to our guests of all ageas from 95 to 12 years old. Everyone said this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Thanks you guys made our wedding recetpion perfect.

George and crew were great and very professional. The gobo was beautiful, the montage amazing and the music was great. I loved that George not only used his expertise in music, but he also took into account the songs that my husband and I suggested. The uplighting looked amazing in our room. George was the best vendor we worked with for our wedding. The questions he asked at our first meeting showed his experience. Instead of telling us what music he played, he asked us what we wanted and more importantly what we did NOT want. He listened to all our needs and followed through with each of them the day of the wedding. I don't think any other vendor I worked with gave as much effort as George did to make our wedding amazing!! No one sat down the entire night. He blended greek music with American/Euro pop music. He had all the connections to get us music for the cocktail hour and bongo drums for the reception which added a unique element.

If you want a vendor who will listen to you, be easy to work with and actually fulfill each of his promises the day of the wedding then book George ASAP! :)

George and his team are amazing! Their work far exceeds any vision that we had for our wedding! When we walked into our room we were blown away by the ambience that was set. Their lighting design completely transformed the reception hall! Also, our wedding was a non stop party! People of all ages were up dancing all throughout the night! George was able to tastefully mix top 40, motown, 90's hip hop, freestyle, dance and traditional greek music to keep everyone on their feet and appease all the different tastes of our guests!! George and his guys did an amazing job with BOTH lighting and music for my June 5th wedding. International Sounds provided music and mc'ing at our wedding on 2/19/11 at Battery Gardens in Battery Park. George was super relaxed and accommodating, while being incredibly professional and serious about his business. I emphasize professional, because the LAST thing you want at your wedding is a guy who doesn't show up, or sends a random replacement musician like our ceremony musicians did. The best part, and where it counts most, was that George and DJ Louie provided incredible entertainment. From start to finish, they had EVERYONE dancing the entire time to music that sounded better and better produced than the originals. Bottom line is that if you want a DJ who could keep a club in NYC on its feet while being easy to work with go with International Sounds. We cannot imagine having a better experience.

What can I say??? The party was rocking from 7pm 'til midnight and there wasn't one moment where the dance floor was empty. George, you delivered as promised. Untouchable ambiance, classy mc'ing and a mix that made it impossible for guests to sit still. Louie, your musical gift appealed to all generations, bringing in compliments from the 70+ crowd all the way down to my 7 year old cousins. International Sounds exceeded our expectations for an amazing wedding this summer! From the planning stages and throughout until the last song of the night, everything went smoothly and we felt that our tastes were taken into consideration. The DJ worked well with our musician during the ceremony as they coordinated the timing and music. Everything that I requested on the form - like the cue of when to play the recessional song - was considered and followed through. The MC was enthusiastic and made sure everything went smoothly (from a surprise speech from a family member to making sure guests made their way outdoors for the surprise fireworks). Our guests have said that this was one of the most fun weddings that they had been to and this was what we were going for with our planning with International Sounds. Besides fun, it was also beautiful with the lighting effects! Something I hadn't considered until I looked at their work, it is what made the room go from nice to WOW! You can tell from the smiles on guests'faces, the pictures, and video the way the light was coordinated with the music was perfect at our reception. I know wedding planning can be stressful but this is one exception. International Sounds are professionals who will make the planning go smoothly and execute everything in a professional manner to your tastes. The DJ (Louie) took our music requests and it was such a great mix of songs that all of the guests were ecstatic! Everytime I hear a song from that night I am transported back to those beautiful moments on the dance floor and smile! He was also flexible when we requested a song to be played again towards the end of the night. There was not one dull moment, not one awkward mix, not one glitch. I may have been worried about my makeup melting away in the sun during an outdoor ceremony or my dress getting stepped on by an enthusiastic dancer :-) but the entertainment and lighting were never something I worried about on my wedding day! Peace of mind is invaluable for a bride and groom. I wholeheartedly recommend International Sounds for your event. Enjoy!

What an amazing job George and International Sounds did for our wedding. They were able to create the wedding of our dreams. They were very professional from day one and added some much to our wedding to make it exactly what we wanted. George and International Sounds were wonderful! We pick out wedding venue because of its beautiful view of the New York City sky line but International sounds created an environment that all my guests will never forget. The provided lights around the room which made the city glow red and set the mood for everyone. I cannot thank George from international sounds enough for making our wedding what it was... AMAZING!! from the very first meeting with George we knew that he was not just a "DJ" he was a business man. Someone that takes pride in the services he provides. The personal attention and communication that George gave us throughout the 18 months of planning had us confident that he was going to give us a party to remember and he and his guys exceeded our expectations above and beyond. George was unable to make our wedding and that had us a little upset not really knowing if the MC that was attending the wedding was going to be as good as we were trusting George was. Our MC and DJ (Lou and Lou) were incredible! Our party never stopped! Our guests are still talking about what fun they had and that our wedding was the best they have ever been to! and yes, the food was delish but you digest and forget, the flowers were beautiful but over time the vision goes away, what you really ever remember from any party you go to is whether or not you had FUN, and my husband and I as well as all 150 of our guests had the best night ever! Lou and Lou were just as professional as George and seeing how George prides himself on what he does i am sorry we ever second guessed that anyone working for him wouldn't be just as professional and capable of throwing the party of our dreams!
All we wanted out of our wedding was for people to have fun, and see us having fun and FUN does not explain the night we had! We had our monogram on the dance floor, which was absolutely beautiful... half of our guests didn't even know it was there because the dance floor was NEVER empty!!! I would recommend not just George but INTERNATIONAL SOUNDS to anyone planning any kind of event! They are not your typical "DJ" company they have pride and skills that guarantee your guests will be unable to stay in their seats and have the best night ever!!!

Never have I been so impressed! International Sounds was amazing. The venue where I had my wedding was so elegantly decorated. The decor was perfect and the lights around the room made everyone look luminous.
With over 200 guests, the volume of the music wasn't obtrusive. The guests were able to communicate with each other without having to compete with the music. Yet, the music was perfect for everyone on the dance floor.
I had asked other companies for quotes before I decided on International Sounds. I knew the moment I met with George that I would go with International Sounds since he had a magnificent vision of what my wedding could look like. He was right. My guests were so impressed that many declared they had never seen a room look so beautiful at a wedding. This is a trully professional company. What an amazing experience from the first meeting at their Park Avenue office till the Last song of the night!! I just wanted to say If you are having an event use this company. The team Louie, Louie and Constantine sent by George transformed the ballroom of the Hamilton Park Hotel with their Decor lighting into the perfect setting. I needed to gasp for air upon entering into my room. The music was off the hook, everyone loved the mixes, and the different songs they played to please everyone, actually people were trying to get the DJs to make a CD of their mixes...we even gave them a standing ovation and asked them to play one last song, which the graciously did... "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra...even though the Yankees lost that night... It was absolutely perfect, in every way! I can't thank these people enough for making my wedding so unforgettable. My family is of Italian descent and my wife is of Greek descent and International sounds was the perfect choice for us. George was very professional, cutting edge and organized. They made it a great night and was able to please both of us and our guests. Which is not an easy thing when there are two different backgrounds. There are two things that can make or break your wedding event....the food and the entertainment. Both things that I refused to skimp out on. Everything else was secondary. I did a lot of research and came across International Sounds. As soon as I met with George, I knew that his company was the one. He was professional, accomodating, and best of all the talk of the night! George and his staff out did themselves and went above and beyond. They had a very difficult task to accomodate a mixed wedding (Greek/Ecuadorian). Let's just say that everyone being pleased is an understatement. I did not have to worry about one thing on my wedding night except to dance the night away. The dance floor stayed packed and everyone wants to know who my DJ was and where did I find him. Rest assured I will recommend him to all future brides and any future events!

Great Service, George even gave us his cell number to contact him anytime . The DJ and MC that George sent to our wedding were true pros. The sound quality was excellent ,it was not too loud and for an afternoon wedding they had everyone dancing from start to finish. I honestly felt I definately got my moneys worth and they exceeded all of my expectations.I personally would like to Thank George for his patience on getting him all our music and wedding details very late . He was extremely accomodating even taking our calls at odd hours. He also made song suggestions to help in our decision making.
International Sounds is a great operation with sincere people that truly care about what they do .

Where do I Begin! International Sounds played at my wedding and did an amazing Job I have already been referring them to people getting married, and will continue to refer them to future brides. There professionalism and experience made the night perfect, they new exacly what to play for the croud, and I had everyone up at my wedding dancing. George Andrews himself was an amazing singer, and his few jokes were perfect to break the ice in the beggining of the night. They are not your ordinary DJ's. They are so much more!! There Lighting (amazing) and anything else you need they can provide. My next party I am hiring International Sounds. Thanks Guys for a great Job!! I will send you guys pics from the wedding when I get them

Where do I start. My wedding reception was held in New York City. I prefer not to mention the venue name because I was unhappy with them, but I will be posting info after I speak to upper management. Thank god for this man George from International Sounds. When we first met him we were extremely impressed with his presentation and knowledge of the wedding industry as a whole. He did mention he has wedding planning experience and we took that into consideration as well.
We of course could not commit to him because we also wanted to seek out others for other options and pricing that were available to us. We met 3 other so called DJ companies and what a waste of our time . We immediately contacted George and hired him fearing our date would be lost . From our first initial call to him right up until our wedding it was simply a pleasure . He visited the venue a few times with us to describe where he would setup and how he would light up the space .We also decided to take his advice to have lounge furniture and light up bar at our reception which he took care of. This impressed all of our friends and family and they thought it was real unique. His DJ setup was simply amazing. no wires showing ,it almost looked like he was a part of the space. What a perfectionist . Most of all I thank George especially for taking control and running our reception because the Maitre D was clueless at the venue did not know how to setup our bridal party, was not there to help us with cake cutting and was nowhere to be found all night. George took it upon himself to even help us cut a piece out the cake so we can feed each other while speaking on the microphone. We felt George and his team went above and beyond their job description to make up where others fell short. For this we are so thankful and we will proudly recommend International Sounds to anyone who is looking for the Rolls Royce of entertainment.

We're in Hawaii, at an Internet cafe...I wanted to write to you thanking you once again for making my dream wedding come true. When I was referred to use International Sounds, I didn't know what to expect, however my friend kept telling me how awesome you guys are...and I took a chance. And I can't thank you enough. Everyone is still trying to recover from all the dancing. I can't wait to use you again, and believe me I will refer your company to everyone. If anyone is looking for an amazing DJ...International Sounds is the way to go. They custom tailored the music and played exactly what I asked. They made my wedding a great success. I highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a professional DJ.

We had an amazing wedding thanks to the staff of International Sounds Entertainment!
These are no ordinary DJ/MCs. You could clearly see that they truly have a knowledge and passion of music and an understanding on how to work a specific crowd. I was shocked to see guests who hardly ever dance get on the dance floor! They played a wide variety of songs and music enjoyed by everyone. The MC was very well spoken, professional and courteous. The lighting was tastefully done and added spice to an already hopping reception.

Music is everything at a party, especially a wedding. I highly recommend International Sounds for guaranteed success at a wedding or any party. They made our wedding dreams come true and we will certainly be using their services again!

My DJ International Sounds NYC was AMAZING!!! I loved everything about them. They played our requested entrance songs which were not your typical entrance songs. They rocked our 1st dance song which again was not your typical or often heard song. They took care of the lighting for the wedding which was beyond anything I thought it would be, the mood and amazing ambiance the lighting created set my wedding apart from anything my guests have seen before. George was great with taking payments
and kept me @ ease when I was going through a rough patch. through most of the music (Greek) he was singing along to the songs and gave the impression that I had a band and not a DJ ...people had to do a double take because they thought I had a band. Overall I give International Sounds NYC an A++++++ I could not have been happier.

No other way to describe George Andrews and his company International Sounds, but King of Entertainment! No exaggeration!
Our wedding was the best ever! The floor was constantly full and the music was non-stop pumping. It was like a club scene. The choice of music was unbelievable, just give them your selections and they work their magic! The lighting and decor were phenominal! Such beautiful, artistic and creative work. There was noone that walked out of the hall unhappy. We really owe a BIG THANK YOU to George for a job well-done! Honestly, if you want a successful event, the best entertainment for any function, there's nowhere else to go to but to International Sounds. Hopefully they're available for you!

From the day we signed our contract to the last song played at he night of our wedding, International Sounds exceeded every one of our expectations. They were always professional, courteous and kind not to mention honest and trustworthy. We will always call them for any of our future events and highly recommend you to all of our friends. We can't stop getting compliments about the music. Our event was classy and so much fun thanks to George, DJ Louie and all of the extra lighting.
They really are the BEST in the business!!

My husband and I loved working with George the owner of International Sounds. He is very nice and easy to work with.
He listened to our requests and him and his crew did an outstanding job the day of wedding. He not only provided exceptional music but lighting for our event and it was beautiful! I highly recommend if you can afford him but worth the money.

George and his team were amazing!! All our friends and family kept coming up to us all night to say how awesome the music was. Professional, outgoing and some of the nicest guys around..we absolutely recommend International Sounds!!!
