Great string quartet

We hired the Intermezzo Players for our wedding last month and they did a wonderful job! They were very easy to work with, were very responsive and organized, and beautifully performed ceremony and cocktail hour string music for us. A few different guests told us they especially appreciated their cocktail hour performances of the “Jurassic Park” theme song, songs from the “Phantom of the Opera” song track, and a few other fan favorites, so much so that one of our guests began singing a lot. We are very glad we hired them for our wedding!

They Will Elevate Your Day

We will always be grateful for the beauty that Intermezzo Chamber Players added to our special day. We hired them hoping that they would elevate our ceremony and that is exactly what they did. They made it feel like we were living in a movie. They delighted our guests as they arrived at the church, welcoming them with beautifully played selections. They accompanied our vocalist really well. And they played us out of our church, adding to the environment of joy and elation. Beth was easy to work with, and very communicative. We highly recommend hiring this group for your wedding.

Intermezzo = Amazing!!!

Beth was unbelievable to work with!! She went above and beyond to make sure all details were ironed out and was SUPER communicative (I really appreciated that with everything else we had going on with the wedding)! Not only that, they were phenomenal during the wedding and cocktail hour, just so so so good! I can't recommend Beth and Intermezzo enough! 100 stars out of 10!!

Beautiful Music and Professional

For as long as I could remember, I always wanted strings for my wedding day ceremony. The Intermezzo Players did not disappoint! Granted day of, as a bride you are having out of body experiences, but the communication leading up to the day and the music portfolio I requested was all spot on and appreciated. I have heard nothing but great things from our guests and my husband. Their synchronization, acoustics with the church and their professionalism was amazing. They even recognized a time when there was just silence (during communion) and they started playing (it wasn’t part of the contract because we needed them for just the beginning and end of ceremony). We just got our documentary video back and there are pieces I can hear them playing and it gave me chills and good feels. We are so happy we booked them, thank you so much again Intermezzo Players for making our day extra special with your music and collaboration!

Beautiful Live Ceremony and Cocktail Hour Music!

I used Intermezzo players for my ceremony and cocktail hour music. I always knew I wanted strings for my ceremony because of the romantic feel I was going for. They were recommended to me by our venue. Beth was great to work with on the music selection! Their website was helpful as well with listening to different pieces for the songs that I wanted. They also played the cocktail hour which I let them pick their selection of music and it was a hit for our guests! The group was punctual and was willing to travel south of Boston for my Friday wedding!

100th Birthday party

When I was planning a 100th birthday party for my mother I knew exactly who I wanted to play for our pre-dinner and birthday greetings. Five years ago, Intermezzo played for our daughter's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and we loved their music and flexibility. Now, two children and a new house later, we couldn't wait to invite Beth and her trio back to play for my mother's party. They were wonderful and we all enjoyed having them contribute to the celebration. I only hope they will be available for my next big event.

Great addition to our ceremony

Intermezzo players were hired to play the music during our ceremony,, They did a fantastic job of communicating and setting up logistics beforehand. We had so many guests say that the music during the ceremony was so lovely and we are so happy to have found this group!

Perfect music for our ceremony!

We are so happy we went with Intermezzo Chamber Players for our ceremony music! We chose the violin and cello and they were absolutely perfect! superb musicians making wonderful music

Beth and her fellow musicians were the perfect addition to our daughter's church wedding ceremony as well the reception afterward. Perfect for any custom requests!

I was referred to the Intermezzo Players by a family friend, and I'm so grateful! I had some pretty specific song choices in mind, but they were able to locate arrangements for a very reasonable price. Being the bride, I didn't get to hear as much of their music as I wanted, but some friends took videos and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. They sounded amazing and I got exactly what I wanted for my not-quite-traditional wedding ceremony.

Intermezzo Players - the perfect touch to a perfect ceremony

Intermezzo Players were absolutely wonderful at our wedding ceremony. Their timing was perfect and their sound just beautiful. Not any of our ceremony was easy, or quite as expected due to COVID, but quite honestly, ended up even better than we had dreamed (covid or no covid). Beth at Intermezzo, was wonderful to work with – responsive, flexible, and extremely helpful In choosing just the right music for those special moments. I would highly recommend strings and Intermezzo Players at any ceremony or event !

Wonderful string quartet for our wedding ceremony

Beth Welty and her quartet were fantastic for our wedding. She was not only responsive and patient as we went back and forth deciding on our music, but she gave us wonderful classical recommendations that we used for my processional and the musical interlude. During the cocktail hour, they also played a nice mix of oldies and contemporary songs. And, most importantly, the music was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I were thrilled with the music, and we received many compliments on how good the string quartet was.

Beautiful ceremony experience

We absolutely loved intermezzo! I reached out to Beth Welty at the very last minute (just a month out) due to budget constraints. She was very responsive and helpful! We hired a trio (viola, violin and cello) and they did a marvelous job! They did our ceremony and cocktail hour and their music helped enhance the romance and elegance on our big day. I could not recommend them more and of course the best part is, they are very reasonably priced. Thank you Intermezzo for making our wedding a little more special!

Inspirational Intermezzo Creates a Romantic Mood

We engaged an Intermezzo Trio for our daughter's wedding. What appealed to us most was that they played both classical and contemporary music.They played while our guests arrived, during the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. The were essential in creating a romantic serene mood for the ceremony
We loved that you can hear samples of their large repertoire in their website. They even offered to learn new music if we had a special request.
Their spokesperson was knowledgeable and offered helpful suggestions and was very responsive as we selected music for each phase of the ceremony.
In the cost of creating a beautiful wedding this is money so well spent because it sets the mood of serenity and romance for the whole wedding. Their fees are clearly stated on the Intermezzo website.
We received many compliments from our guests of all ages and the bride and groom loved them.

Beth Welty and her Intermezzo Players played beautiful symphonic music for Susanne's and my wedding last Saturday. The quartet arrived early, played elegantly, delighted our 180 guests under the outdoor tent, and were wonderful to work with, keeping all of their promises to us.

Beautiful ceremony music that blew us all away

We hired Intermezzo Chamber Players to perform at our wedding ceremony. I had always dreamed of having a trio (violin, viola and cello) play at our wedding. Beth Welty was incredible. She helped me pick out songs, provided guidance on my wedding program wording, and was so responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. The song I chose to walk down the aisle to, "Rewrite the Stars", was one they hadn't played before, but learned just for our ceremony. I was so impressed that they would learn a new song just for us. They also stayed and played during our cocktail hour. I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for beautiful ceremony music!

We hired The Intermezzo Players for our daughter’s recent wedding. We couldn’t have been more pleased. They responded to our inquiry immediately and sent all the information we needed to make a decision. They sent samples of their music being played and after we decided to hire them they sent a questionnaire to be filled out so all parties were on the same page. They delivered everything they promised and their music was absolutely beautiful. It made the wedding a very elegant affair which is exactly what we wanted. Wedding Music Perfection

From the moment I received my first email from Beth Welty at Intermezzo Players, I felt that we were in great hands for the music for my son's wedding. Beth sent me a list of youtube clips of Intermezzo performances of several commonly used pieces for processionals, interludes and recessionals. When we chose them to play at the wedding, she responded quickly to my questions and was straight forward about pricing, what we could and could not expect given possible weather for the October wedding, and about timing. They quartet played beautifully! There were many musicians and knowledgeable music appreciaters at our special occasion, and they were uniformly impressed. Best of all, my daughter-in-law was overjoyed--she had dreamed of having a string quartet at her wedding and Intermezzo Players were perfect for her.

We hired the Intermezzo Chamber Players for our Cape Cod ocean front wedding in June. We could not be more pleased! Beth took the time to offer a great selection of classical pieces for our ceremony and a nice mix of classical and contemporary pieces for the cocktail hour. The Intermezzo Players performed at our daughter's Harvard Club, Back Bay wedding. The string trio, let by Beth Welty, greatly enhanced the overall atmosphere while performing classical wedding music. Post ceremony, they provided great background entertainment at the cocktail reception. We found Beth to be very professional & responsive in every way. In the planning stages her personal organization, communication skills and overall assistance in helping us navigate the composition options greatly simplified the process. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a string component to any gathering. We would certainly use their group again when the opportunity to do so is there. We could not have been more pleased with Intermezzo. Their music was beautiful and timed perfectly to all the different aspects of he wedding. They were immediately responsive to changes, prompt and professional. After the wedding, they packed up and played for an hour at the reception where they played everything from Beatles to jazz. Carol and Intermezzo Chamber Players were such a pleasure to work with. They helped us in selecting the instruments and music to give us the ambiance we were looking for on our wedding day. Carol was very knowledgeable, and new exactly which instruments and music would flow best. They were easily accessible for any questions, throughout the planning process. The Intermezzo Chamber Players were just the live music soundtrack we were looking for to play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. For my outdoor wedding ceremony on Cape Cod, I chose Intermezzo Chamber Players and I'm so happy that they played at my wedding! Carol was extremely helpful during the entire planning process, which went very smooth. I selected the trio which played before the ceremony through the cocktail hour. I booked a trio with Intermezzo for my ceremony and cocktail hour music. They were great! Carol was a pleasure to work with in terms of coordinating everything. We hired the Intermezzo Chamber Players to play for our ceremony and cocktail hour and the string quartet did a beautiful job. Carol was a pleasure and so easy to work with in the months leading up to our wedding, always responsive, and she even wrote an arrangement of some Les Miserables songs especially for our ceremony processional that we wanted, even though they weren't on their song list. They showed up on time and played beautifully and we received so many compliments on the ceremony music from guests. Intermezzo Chamber Players were wonderful and such a great addition to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! Not only did they play beautiful music, they really added to the atmosphere that we wanted to provide for our guests. To say they were accommodating and flexible is an understatement, I called Carol the NIGHT BEFORE my wedding in a panic because I needed an additional song during the "sign of peace I hadn't known about prior to the ceremony rehearsal that night. I was put at ease instantly and assured that an appropriate song would be played and not to worry! My wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music was flawless and I couldn't recommend Intermezzo Chamber Players any more highly!

The manager, Carol, was polite, and very flexible. Carol took the songs we selected and rewrote them to fit our quartet and timing. Not just somebody that can play an instrument, the group we chose was quite qualified. The music at the park that wonderful day was excellent.

This was the second wedding that the Intermezzo Chamber Players provided music for us. We chose to have them perform at our youngest daughter's wedding in June because of the stellar performance they gave at our other daughter's wedding in 2006. Once again, they did not disappoint. Everyone loved the music and commented on how professional they were. Thank you very much for helping to make our daughters' special days truly memorable. Unfortunately, Katie was the last of our children to get married, but I would definitely recommend the Intermezzo Chamber Players to any and all who are in need of a wonderful string ensemble.

I can't find any single complaint about them. All my e-mails were answered promptly. Barbara and Judith arrived on time on the wedding day. I didn't have to spend even a second explaining them where to go.
Unfortunately, when I walked the isle I was too emotional to hear anything. But as I'm viewing wedding videos now, I can hear how wonderfully ladies were playing.

Fantastic!!! We first heard The Intermezzo Chambers at a good friends wedding. We loved them!!!! After that my husband and I booked them right away for our wedding. Carol was easy to get in touch with and helpful in answering any questions that we had. Best part they will learn any song you have in mind! My husband and I had a special song and they were able to play it for our recessional. It sounded awesome! Intermezzo was perfect for what we were looking for! We wanted live music at our ceremony and cocktail hour but did not want a band. The string trio was awesome. They were able to play a ton of popular/modern music that we asked for and it sounded beautiful. They really set the tone for evening! Everyone thought they played beautifully and really added something special to the ceremony. They learned a Beatles song just for our wedding. I would recommend them to any bride who wants to have a special touch added to her wedding.

Intermezzo Chamber Players performed at our church wedding ceremony. I worked with Carol and she was helpful with picking songs and organizing which musicians to include. They are extremely versatile and were even able to play "I want to hold your hand" by the Beatles as an instrumental for our recessional song.

The Intermezzo Chamber Players did a wonderful job with our wedding this weekend. They were able to include an acoustic guitar in their string trio, which was something I had trouble finding elsewhere. Their beautiful music was the perfect accompaniment to our lakeside wedding. Carol was very organized and so easy to work with. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

We had a string trio perform for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Carol was very easy to work with and offered great advice. The music was beautiful and covered several genres. I would highly recommend the Intermezzo Chamber Players.

Intermezzo played both at our daughter's ceremony and at cocktail hour at the reception. They were excellent and very professional. A joy to work with. Our daughter wanted a specific piece played a specific way at the ceremony and they happily obliged! I recommend them highly!

Carol was wonderful and easy to work with and made planning for the wedding ceremony music easy. My son-in requested a particular piece and the quartet learned it for him! Although as the mother of the bride, I was unaware of the music during cocktails, I got rave reviews from the guests.

I hired Intermezzo Chamber Players for my daughter's wedding and they were wonderful in every way. I took a leap of faith and hired them from the internet and was a little nervous because I didn't know anyone that used them in the past. I knew I wanted beautiful music for the ceremony but had never planned a wedding before. Carol handled all of the details and was always extremely professional and prompt at responding to my emails and phone calls. Carol took such a large burden off my back - I gave her the names of specific music that I chose for the mass/ceremony as well as the names and numbers of the organist and vocalist and when I showed up at the church all was perfect. They also played at the cocktail hour and were wonderful. I received many, many complements about the quality and beauty of the music. I couldn't believe how easy it was to work with Intermezzo Chamber Players, I would use them again and would highly recommend them to all.

We were so impressed with the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We wanted something different, and found the intermezzo chamber players through the venue. They were able to play all the songs we wanted, and were very responsive and flexible. I highly recommend this vendor for your event.

Carol was so wonderful to work with and she helped us to decide about which instruments to consider based on the type of music we wanted at the wedding. We ended up with a quartet (two violins, cello and keyboard for an outdoor wedding) and they were so talented. The group learned some new songs for our ceremony and they played beautifully before, during and after the wedding. They could not have been more accommodating or friendly, and the music was just the right touch! We are so glad that we decided to go with the Intermezzo Chambe Players.
