The best rabbi and interfaith ceremony!!!! Highly recommend Rabbi Marsha
Rabbi Marsha truly made our wedding day so special, and we could have not asked for a better Rabbi or officiant to lead our ceremony. Her style, flexibility, and willingness to make the ceremony completely curated, personal, and meaningful is unmatched.
Rabbi Marsha met with us several times and made a conscious effort to get to know and understand us, our families, our values and traditions including our different faiths as I am Catholic and my husband is Jewish. Many of our guests had said it was the most beautiful, personal, heartwarming, and meaningful ceremony they had ever witnessed. It is a testament to how Rabbi Marsha writes and leads her ceremonies - she fully embraces different backgrounds, finds meaningful ways to tie in traditions and shared values, and weaves in personal stories to create a really special and intimate ceremony. She fully captured our personalities and our love for one another, with the perfect amount of humor and light-heartedness.
Throughout the process, Rabi Marsha made sure we both felt comfortable with every aspect of the ceremony and went out of her way to ensure that each of our faiths were honored throughout. She worked closely with our Priest, Father Bill, to ensure the ceremony was balanced and that each of our families felt represented.
Her thoughtfulness was evident throughout the process and the entire ceremony. It was her idea to hang my mothers wedding dress inside the Chuppah to symbolize both of our families becoming intertwined as we start our life together, a beautiful touch that meant so much to our families.
We absolutely love and adore Rabbi Marsha and could not recommend her enough! She will bring the absolute best energy, perspective, and is truly so FUN to work with!! -

From the moment we first talked, we had a feeling about Rabbi Marsha. She first called me when she saw the message inquiry come through on her end, and was very supportive throughout the entire process. We booked her about 6 months out from our wedding after finding out that the clergy at my temple would not be able to officiate (downside of getting married on a Friday). Still, I am so thrilled we were able to work with Rabbi Marsha. She spent time getting to know us, and by the time of the ceremony no one would have guessed we had only known each other for 6 months. The ceremony was so lovely and she worked with us to include all personal and familial touches with an interfaith ceremony. -

I'm Latino, I was born and raised Catholic, but I married a Jew, and for us, it was very important that our wedding is under Judaism. My husband and I looked for various options, but when we spoke to Rabbi Marsha for the first time, we felt she was The one indicated. It was not just a transaction, it was true dedication to our needs, and it was very respectful of my lack of knowledge of the traditions, and it explained to me step by step with great affection. I can tell you that the day of my marriage was the best day of my entire life and the ceremony made me feel like I was in a fairy tale where we were two princes sealing our love. Rabbi Marsha, there are no words to thank you for your wonderful service and the respect and inclusion of a same-sex couple. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. Rabbi Marsha -

Rabbi Marsha Jane gave the most personal and beautiful service, it was truly memorable for my husband and I, who are inter-faith, but wanted a Jewish wedding ceremony. She was organized and kind and made planning the ceremony very easy leading up to the wedding with multiple convenient check ins and reminders and she was always responsive and flexible. The ketubah ceremony was also special for us and our family who participated. We received multiple compliments from guests during the reception and after our wedding about how spectacular she was. She is an absolute professional and cannot recommend her enough as an officiant. We highly recommend Rabbi Marsha Jane!!

From the minute we first spoke to Rabbi Marsha we knew she was the perfect fit. she is warm, inviting, responsive and someone you feel like you've known forever. in the months leading up to the wedding, she was always available to answer any questions we had. in addition to that, our plans changed quite a few times with covid. each time, she was happy to accommodate our requests. we are an interfaith couple and she took the time to have a separate meeting with our families to ensure everyone was comfortable with the service and knew exactly what was going on. I was truly looking for someone that took the time to get to know us individually and as a couple, and rabbi marsha was exactly that person. when it came to wedding day, the service was absolutely beautiful and incredibly personal. 2 weeks later, we are still hearing great feedback from friends and family about how great the service was. We cannot thank her enough! can't wait for our next life event that needs a rabbi -- we absolutely will be calling her for any and everything! -

My husband is jewish and I'm not really attached to a religion so when my husband said he wanted a rabbi to marry us, I wanted to make sure I found one who was open minded and for me, having a female was important! Rabbi Marsha gave us such a beautiful ceremony! She did a great job of explaining all of the little traditions like the kiddush cup and the 7 circles, so my non-jewish family knew what was going on, and was very open minded about any changes we wanted to make to the typical jewish ceremony! She didn't put a huge emphasis on God, like we asked, but everything included was so meaningful.. about love, family, spirituality.. All of my catholic family loved our ceremony and were complimenting it all night!
Rabbi Marsha herself is an absolute pleasure to work with.. she kept in touch throughout our planning process, even as we switched locations 4 times due to covid, and always brought positivity and humor into our calls which we really needed!! I couldn't have imagined our day without her! -

Simply put, Rabbi Marsha was an absolute dream to work with. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, she instilled confidence that we could have the ceremony we always hoped for. With our wedding plans changing last minute due to COVID, we were in need of an experienced interfaith rabbi to co-officiate with a Catholic deacon, who happened to be father of the bride, all for a socially-distant ceremony, quite literally in a cornfield in Maryland - it was a tall order to say the least! Rabbi Marsha absolutely delivered in every way possible. She performed a personalized, beautifully integrated ceremony between the two faiths that we will never forget. Both families absolutely loved her. Her upbeat and positive energy ameliorated any worries we had in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and she was always responsive with communication. You should book Rabbi Marsha with complete confidence and excitement in how memorable your ceremony will be with her present. We cannot recommend her highly enough!
