Joe photographed our wedding this summer and we could not be happier with the pictures. He was so kind, easy going, down to earth, and flexible! The pictures were beautiful and authentic.The best part is that he was able to capture the moments without distracting us from living in the moment (something that was very important to me as I have been very distracted by photographers at other peoples' weddings in the past)- during the ceremony and reception we hardly even notice him taking pictures! I will definitely recommend innovatory photography in the future

Hire This Man

Although I'd love to keep Joe a secret from everyone else, he deserves all the praise. We hired him for our engagement pictures and liked them so much that we flew him out to Denver for our wedding. Joe really knew how to capture the style and lighting we wanted and delivered more than we could have thought. Photos aside, Joe and his wife are two of the most genuine, flexible, and fun people. We had a great time just chatting with them. If you're looking for any type of photographer, Joe is your guy.

Captured Perfectly

Joe and Brooklyn made our wedding day a day we will remember forever! They never got in our way and captured the best candid photos and helped us pose for the best portraits I could imagine. Having a slideshow of day-of photos for guests to see blew us out of the water. We are extremely impressed with the quality and quantity of the photos of this dynamic duo! We would highly recommend hiring them for your big day!

We have been delighted with Kyle and Jamie from the first phone call through every step of the way. They were both genuinely interested in hearing what we wanted--spontaneous pictures to capture the moments in between moments--and delivered gorgeous pictures. We were on a tight budget but wanted the best images we could get, they delivered whole-heartedly!

We wanted photographers that were more photojournalistic in style, but could also take posed pictures. Also... our budget was limited. Kyle and Jamie fit all of our needs. They were willing to have our prep meetings over the phone since we don't live in Cincinnati. They took pictures throughout the preparation process, the ceremony, and the first half of the reception. They were easy to get along with, and never got in the way. They were like ninjas during the reception! They even had some of our pictures playing on a slideshow during the reception. The pictures came out beautifully, and we got digital copies as well as a book as part of our photography package.

Kyle and Jamie worked with us for our big day and we were extremely impressed with their work. We decided to opt out of engagement pictures so I was nervous because we didn't take any pictures with them prior to our big day. However, they set up a meeting with us and put us at ease with covering all the details and getting to know eachother. They were so kind, genuine, and go with the flow. Their style is very hands off, as they like to capture moments as they happen naturally. We were SO happy with all our pictures. From the candid shots, to posed bridal/family pictures, etc--they did an outstanding job! My guests were complimenting the ~20 picture slideshow displayed during the reception. They were BEAUTIFUL. Kyle & Jamie are an excellent price considering they will come for unlimited hours AND provide a "photo booth". We provided a black sheet to hang on a wall, but they had an entire iPad system that took pictures. We are so glad we booked them for our big day. Again, I can't say enough great things :) They were so professional, timely, and great to work with!! THANK YOU KYLE AND JAMIE!!

Jake and Krista were phenomenal! They put us at ease and worked tirelessly to get all of the pictures we wanted from the big day. They even agreed to help me surprise the groom last minute with a fun prank during the reveal. 11/10 would use again, and I have already recommended them to several friends. If I ever need to hire someone to take photos in the future, this is going to be the first place I look to. Thank you so much, Jake and Krista!

Jake and Krista were our photographers and I don't think I have enough words to describe how wonderful they both were. At first I was a little nervous becaues we booked them a little over a year before our wedding date (nice getting it out of the way, but scary thinking maybe they wouldn't still be working...). Leading up to the wedding Jake facetimed with us because we live out of town and he made me feel way better about it all. We discussed everything we wanted and he gave us a lot of good tips. Two days before the wedding I started freaking out because the weather was showing rain and we had planned for outdoor pictures. I sent him a text and he instantly relieved my stress by suggesting a place indoors to take pictures.

The day of was what made this experience so much better. Jake and Krista came to the location I was getting ready at and instantly started a conversation with me and my bridesmaids. I usually don't like people taking pictures of me but they made me feel very comfortable. Then, they had to wait for me and my girls to get to the park to take our pictures (traffic and the typcial girls taking forever to get ready pushed us behind) but they were very patient with us. Even the pictures after the ceremony went quick so we could all enjoy ourselves at the reception.

If I had to recommend any photographer for friends in the area, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jake and Krista! Such a great pair. Easy to work with, and fun to work with! Wish we would have lived in the area so we could have done our engagement pictures with them!

Our photographers made the day! We had Kayla and Caleb (who have since opened their own business) and they were absolutely wonderful! Innovatory was so reasonably priced - offered 2 all day photographers - AND A PHOTO BOOTH. Truly everything we were looking for. And Kayla and Caleb were so down to earth and funny - put up with our wedding party and all our funny requests - and offered photo ideas we never thought of. They fit right into our wedding party and our entire day.

Innovatory was my first and only choice when planning my wedding. I was first introduced to Joe and Amanda at my good friend's wedding in 2014. Very flexible, prompt in answering questions, and not to mention they are awesome at what they do!! Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed!

Even though I was not able to use Innovatory on my Wedding Day, Innovatory was amazing! Their customer service was amazing! The reason why I was not able to use innovatory was they did not have my wedding date available! If you want good quality pictures I would choose Innovatory, good price and good pics!

Jake and Krista were phenomenal!!! My husband and I got married on July 9th and Jake and Krista were a breath of fresh air all day long. What photographers tie your child's shoe at the reception??? The pictures we have seen so far are amazing and we are SO excited to see the rest of them. Thank you thank you thank you for being upbeat, go with the flow yet organized, friendly, and easy to work with to capture one of our favorite days yet! :)

I loved working with Jake and Krista. I'm a very laid back bride and I was so happy to find photographers that understood what I was looking for. The moments they captured were real and authentic, not posed and not me. I am so happy. Not to mention they were a steal of a deal, because Jake is just moving into more photography instead of videography. I think innovatory is great because they have quality photographers for any budget.

Kayla and Caleb were out wedding photographers and also did our engagement photos for us. I cannot say enough about them. Not only do they produce amazing work but they are such great people and wonderful to work with. Taking photos on our wedding day was so fun and stress free. I am not a picture person, nor my husband, but they made it so easy for us and our photos came out even more amazing than I could have imagined. They captured so many great moments that I did not get to see first hand that day and for that they are worth so much more than they cost. So if you want wedding photographers with a high quality of work that are amazing to work with and will also have fun then they are your best choice.

We booked Kayla and Caleb as our engagement and wedding photographers. Kayla was friendly, energetic, and responsive throughout the entire process. They both made our engagement session and wedding day a fun and less stressful experience, while capturing all the little moments that makes this day so special. Joe and Amanda did a fabulous job on our wedding and engagement photos! Since it rained on our wedding day, we had to come up with a last minute plan and Joe and Amanda didn't stress. My husband and I worked with Joe and Amanda on our wedding day and couldn't have enjoyed it more. They have an amazing eye for just the right moment and just the right angle! The spirit and personality that I saw in their other photos was a big part of why we chose them and we were so right to do that. We've ended up with photos that have drama, a sense of playfulness, and convey just how much we loved the day. We cannot say enough about how easy they were to work with, flexible with the venues and always making the best of them, and the delivery of the photos.

Joe was absolutely wonderful and out pictures are as perfect as the day was!! He interacted with my guest and many of them commented on how professional and personable he was. I love the fact that I got all the picture on a thumb drive and could have prints made or make my own book. Two things I would change is the time it took to get the book and the book itself, but quality of the pictures made up for it 100 fold. I would recommend Joe to anyone and give him more than five stars if I could.

Joe and Amanda were a dream to work with at our recent wedding. We were planning our Cincinnati wedding from Tennessee and so didn't get many chances to meet our vendors before we actually booked them. I loved the style of photography I saw on their website and after speaking to Joe on the phone, it only took me a few minutes to decide they would be our photographers. We were all about having relaxed photographs that captured our personalities! We have seen a few of the photos Joe & Amanda took on our wedding day and to say we are beyond thrilled is an understatement. Besides their amazing photography skills, Joe & Amanda offer a unique wedding photography package… not only do you get all your edited wedding images, but they also do a "live" photo booth, display a slideshow of edited photos at the wedding reception the they have taken throughout the wedding day up to that point and also print a photo book for you with your favorite wedding photos. All of that makes them stand out and in my opinion, go above & beyond other local photographers! I am waiting in angst to see all the photos from our special day, but have no doubt in my mind that they will be everything we hoped for and more! Thank you for everything Joe & Amanda - I hope we can work with you again in the future!!!

Kayla and Caleb were so easy to work with and SO MUCH FUN! They were professional yet laid back and helped a stressful day become much less so. The pictures are gorgeous!! I would definitely recommend them and will hopefully have a chance to use their photo skills again one day! Love them!!

From the beginning, Kayla was all around awesome to deal with! Her communication was great, and I felt like we immediately clicked when we talked on the phone for the first time. I got off the phone, and my husband said, "Well, it seems like you really liked her!” She made me feel at ease, answered all of my questions, and was super down to earth.

The day of the wedding, I always knew that they were around, but by no means were they overbearing or in the way or anything like that. We had two photographers for 10 hours which was so wonderful considering the price that we paid! While dinner was being served, Kayla and Caleb put together a short 20 picture slideshow of pictures taken earlier that day and displayed them for guests to see.

After the wedding, we were emailed the link to the slideshow the day after our wedding. It was perfect, as we were just leaving on our honeymoon, so it was so nice to see some of the pictures. About 4 weeks later, we were told that our pictures were ready to be viewed online. They are stunning! I love that many of the pictures are not posed, as they really do capture the moment. I have posted a few photos on social media, and people are always commenting about how gorgeous they are!

We just selected our top 45 images (tough thing to do), and we are awaiting our photo book to arrive! The amazing thing about the book... it is included in the price that you pay! I mean, seriously, their value cannot be beat! Another wonderful thing about Innovatory is that you have the sole rights to your photographs, so we can pick where we want to print them! Further, they are not watermarked which is also nice, as I didn't want my wedding pictures to be a walking billboard for a company.

We are so thankful for Kayla and Caleb, and I know that our wedding day will not be the last time that we ask them to capture a momentous occasion in our lives! :)

After a mishap with our original photographer, I was happy to find Innovatory Photography. We had Kayla and Caleb shoot our wedding and they were fantastic! My biggest compliment is that once the ceremony and reception started - I rarely noticed them as they took pictures! And the candid shots we got were my favorite!

Joe did an excellent job of making us feel at ease, which in turn made our wedding photographs turn out great! He did a lot of his work in the background, so the day progressed organically and many of our photos are candid in nature. He was flexible with all of our requests, and spent time taking photographs outside where it was freezing in January. He didn't miss a beat, capturing all the most important moments of the day. I could't be happier with the experience or the photographs!

I am very particular about pictures and they style of photography I want at my wedding. I have always enjoyed the more 'photojournalism' style, rather than, what I call, the 'grip and grin' style. I took one look at the Innovatory website and knew I had to have them photograph my wedding. My fiance and I met with Kayla, who was so super nice and easy to work with. This is the part of the wedding I am most looking forward too because i know our pictures will be one of a kind, genuine, and really show off all that we planned for the day to be.

Joe & Amanda were great! They were fun and really captured everyone's personalities in our wedding photos. We have gotten so many compliments from friends and family about how wonderful our photos are. We have loved looking through all of the photos because Innovatory really did capture each and every moment from getting ready to the ceremony, in between and reception. We truly felt like we were reliving the day and so many moments were captured that we had completely forgotten about! My favorite part was that we were given access to thousands of photos which is amazing!
Joe and Amanda are so unique and they both had different styles and saw different photo opportunities. Our albums are a great mixture of unconventional, creative and artsy shots and the classic, simple, memorable shots. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Everyone still tells us how beautiful our wedding pictures are, 4 years later. Innovatory captured our day perfectly. We loved them so much we still use them for our family photos, and recommend them to everyone we know looking for a photographer.

Joe and Amanda were so great to work with! They were extremely responsive to my questions and made me feel at ease. Our wedding pictures came out so beautifully and we went back for more on our first anniversary! I hope to someday call on them for family photos when we move back to Cincinnati. :) I cannot recommend Innovatory highly enough!

We were so happy to have had Joe from Innovatory Photography capture the joy of our wedding day. He did a wonderful job documenting the tiny details, the bigger moments and most importantly the feeling of happiness everyone felt. Joe was professional, organized and discreate. Absolutely fantastic people to work with! Joe and Amanda traveled all the way to the Chicagoland area to shoot our wedding. They are incredibly talented [my husband is an artist himself and is quite picky:)]and are all around fun people to work with. The best photographers in my opinion! I did a lot of research as most brides do, and found that they have the highest quality photos as well as the most reasonable prices. They were also more than willing to travel 4 1/2 hrs to shoot my wedding photos. They turned out absolutely gorgeous! KY Bride thought so too because the photos this wonderful couple took were featured in their magazine.

Creative, personable and thorough....Amanda and Joe were a pleasure to work with. We went through Innovatory for both our engagement and wedding photos. The day of the wedding, they flew under the radar yet caught a staggering amount of awesome moments on film. I've had several people ask me for their information and go on to book with them after seeing our shots and/or attending the wedding. We plan to use them for baby and family photos when the time comes as well :) They are flexible and will work to accommodate special requests. I just can't say enough good things, highly recommend!

They gave us exactly what we wanted. My parents were recently divorced and I didn't want it to be awkward. They took all the pressure off me and included everyone with a very natural flow. We also did not want the typical posed pictures. They thought outside the box and utilized our venue to its fullest. Be adventurous with them! It's worth every shot!

We have hired Innovatory Photography for both of our daughter's weddings. Joe & Amanda for our oldest daughter's & Kayla & Caleb for our baby girl's this past June...I hesitate to use the word "hire" because it was not just a business transaction, it was as if our dear friends came and hung out with us on a very special day in our lives! Both of the girls were given a budget for their weddings and both of the girls stated that their dress & the photographer were the most important elements to them (besides the groom of course!) We were MORE than thrilled with how both teams of photographers captured such a special day in our daughter's lives. There are no words of thanks for someone else, a stranger really, being able to capture some of the most intimate family moments that will live on and tell the story for years to come.

I LOVED Joe & Amanda...to the point that we've given out plenty of recommendations and my brother in law even booked his senior photos through them shortly after the wedding! The couple's style is more along the lines of photo journalism, and they capture many moments versus over doing it on the posed pictures. When I viewed my wedding photos, there are countless that were taken without me even being aware that they were nearby! Not that I didn't want to interact with them, because honestly they are delightful, down to earth, and funny :)

Look no further for your wedding photographer. In fact, book your wedding date based on their availability. Joe and Amanda are the BEST!
First of all, they are the coolest people ever--I immediately wanted them to be our best friends. And in fact, they immediately felt like our friends. The kind of friends who you invite to your wedding to watch you get ready, hang out beforehand, attend the ceremony, and dance at the reception, except then when it's over they provide you with hundreds of the most beautiful pictures you have ever seen--capturing moments that somehow perfectly portray the complex emotions that a person can only feel on their wedding.
Second of all, Joe & Amanda offer packages that are an incredible value for everything that is included. We could have easily paid much more for photographers and gotten only half the quality and quantity of photos. It was some of the best spent money we spent toward the wedding.
So what are you waiting for? Book Innovatory!!

Amanda and Joe are amazing! My wedding party consisted of 22 people and they did wonderful getting amazing shots with such a large group and they did it so quickly, which we loved! They are fun, energetic, and know how to get great shots without getting in the way.

Joe and Amanda were amazing the whole time they were with us. They were fun, meshed well with our laid-back attitude about things, and most of the time it seemed like they weren't even there, which is just what we wanted. We loved our experience with Innovatory! We used Joe for our engagement and wedding photographer and we had FUN and LOVE our pictures. I used Jacob and Krista for my wedding pictures in April 2017. They were a lot of fun to work with, and Jake did a great job responding to my emails with any questions. I was drawn to Innovatory from their laid-back professional style of pictures. After discussing budget with my fiance and family, I decided to go with Jake and Krista. A month after booking, their prices increased by almost $1000, but Innovatory was great in giving me the original price. I highly recommend that if you like this group, you book them right!

I absolutely love the pictures that they captured, and they made us feel comfortable all day. I also loved that you receive all of the pictures, a photo book, and a photo booth. It was also a bonus to see some of the pictures from earlier in the day already set up in a slideshow at the reception. Jake and Krista were awesome, and you can't beat their style for the price.

This photography company was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend. From booking to the wedding date, they were professional and easy to get a hold of. All of the photographers with this company are married couples; however, the couple that shot our wedding started their own company after our wedding. Regardless, the packages that are available are not too pricey and we ended up with a lot! Both photographers were with us the entire day as we got ready, at the chapel, between the ceremony and reception, and then reception (they also set up a fun photo booth that one of them handled while the other continued reception shots). They quickly edited some photos and had a laptop playing 20 of our photos at the guest book table. After the wedding, we received approx. 580 photos of the big day in a digital file, and a printed coffee table book of our favorite 50 photos. They blended in well with our group and were very personable. The photos were beautiful and had the classic wedding shots, as well as the photo-journalistic style. My only SMALL concern was that it took a while to get our pictures back (maybe 2-3 months) and we were anxious to get our photos. They were well worth the wait!

Kayla and Caleb did our engagement session as well as our wedding. They were both so laid back and easy to work with, something I was looking for in photographers for my wedding. I was a little hesitant to use just one photographer but since our wedding was on the smaller side Joe was confident he would get all the shots we would want. After seeing a few albums of weddings he worked solo, I knew he would be a perfect fit. He is totally laid back and fun but he experience and expertise shows! We have only received a handful of pictures so far (our wedding was a week and a half ago) but I AM SO HAPPY with them. They are gorgeous and I can't wait to see the rest!

Kayla and Caleb shot the photos for my wedding. Absolutely loved them! They were very helpful in making sure I got all the shots I wanted without being in the way and over the top. They also are great dancers and fun to have at the reception!!

The photographers were very nice and fun to work with and their shots were amazing! They do a photojournalism style so many of the shots were not looking at the camera or set up at neat angles. My pictures turned out amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone! They did out engagement pictures as well and everyone raved about how good they were.

We had Kayla and Caleb photograph our wedding. There was nothing bad, but nothing great. There were a lot of pictures I expected to get that just weren't there... We had a gorgeous church for our ceremony and they didn't capture it's high ceilings and beauty (even after I made sure they planned on this).
I also feel like every photo had a weird haze filter over it so they all had a low contrast and were not as clear as I expected.

I was also disappointed there were not many shots of the decor at our reception or any of the "details" of the day, or even many pictures that had my full dress in it (who cuts you off at the knee in every photo?!).

Like I said, there was nothing wrong or bad about the photos we did get, but just left a lot to be desired. If you use them I would be VERY clear about what your expectations are so you aren't also disappointed like we were. You don't get a second chance!
