Erika is an absolute rock star. She was willing to travel to our wedding in Dallas when we had to cancel our May wedding in Destin. She is so laid back and it feels like you just have one of your friends with you all day (all the while she is taking INCREDIBLE photos). I’ve received so many compliments on our wedding photos and I’m so glad Erika was willing to photograph our wedding even with the location change. She is truly talented. Book her y’all! -

We had such a wonderful experience working with Erika. She has such an easy disposition that keeps everything calm and comfortable which is so important on your wedding day. She is extremely organized and her attention to detail shows in her images. Erika was very easy to work with! She was very understanding and was eager to learn more about us as a couple as well as individuals. She’s very creative and has an eye for capturing intimate moments both posed and candid. She made us feel extremely comfortable during the entire photoshoot and took it upon herself to ensure that we never felt out of place. I would definitely recommend Erika to anyone searching for a talented photographer and I would love to hire her again in the near future! -

Erika is THE best!
Erika was the photographer for my daughter’s wedding in October 2019. Erika was just wonderful to work with. She was professional-organized-flexible. She was really all we could have asked for in a photographer and more.
I will use her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer.

Erika is an absolute DREAM to work with. She was so responsive and helpful from the moment I inquired, and she helped answer questions I had and give great advice. She was prompt and punctual, and she was so easy and fun to talk to. She made us feel so relaxed and comfortable during photos on wedding day. We have gotten our sneak peek photos back and they are STUNNING. Her work speaks for itself—I couldn’t find more perfect, timeless photos. I would book her time and time again! We cannot wait to see all the photos! -

Erika did an AMAZING job with our engagement session and our wedding. She was fun to work with, easy going, and the photos were incredible. I also love her editing style - not overly edited, but enough to bring out the beauty of the images. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!! -

Absolutely the best photographer!
To put it kindly, we were terrified to having someone take our picture. Especially for SUCH a big day! I think our biggest fear about getting pictures done was that it would feel uncomfortable and totally fake. We could not have been more wrong!!! Erika made us feel like we were just on a normal date night and someone just so happened to be taking pictures of us! It was natural and comfortable and we really can't imagine having anyone else there with us throughout this journey! Our favorite part about this entire wedding photography experience is just how easy it was to work with Erika. She was always available if we had questions, was super flexible with our schedules (and the weather!), and when it came time for the big day, she made everyone feel so at ease. I remember my mom saying the next day after the wedding how super impressed she was with Erika. She said something along the lines of she is like your best friend who makes everyone feel comfortable, but can still command a room without even coming above a whisper. I couldn't agree more! There was no stress, no worries, but she still always captured the perfect shot! I would highly recommend using Erika for your engagement and wedding photography! -

AMAZING Photographer! Highly Recommended!
Erika is the best! My husband and I so enjoyed working with her. In fact, she was our favorite vendor we hired. We were a bit nervous about the cost at first, but after the wedding we both agreed she was worth every penny!
Her photographs are amazing, all of our friends and family commented on the quality of photos. Erika took our wedding photos and our engagement photos, and I am obsessed. I love all of them; it is hard to decide which are our favorites.
Erika is so responsive to any form of communication. I would text her and email her all the time with questions and she always responded quickly. Erika always made us feel so comfortable and at ease, even when we felt awkward. She was willing to work with us on what we were looking for in photos. I could not decide on a single location for engagement photos, so we ended up taking pictures at three different locations. I now have a beautiful variety of engagement photos! Our wedding photos captured our wedding day and love perfectly. The pictures are magical!
I would highly recommend Erika to anyone who is looking for beautiful, high quality photographs. -

Jackie Sent on 09/25/2018Erika's done it again! She documented our wedding day last year and I was SO SO excited when our friends booked her for their destination wedding to the DR. Since we were going to be there at the same time, I figured it was only right to book her for our honeymoon session and boy was that the best decision! Not only are the photos from our friends wedding drop dead GORGEOUS, but ours came out just as beautiful! Erika makes you feel so comfortable and is just the sweetest woman. Booking her as our photographer has proven to be a fantastic experience time and time again! Thank you for being so amazing!

I love every single one of them! Erika is so friendly, funny and easy to work with, she really is the best! She made us both so comfortable and we had so much fun taking our engagement photos. We also brought our three dogs along for some of the photos and they turned out so cute!! We are looking forward to working with her again for our wedding in a few months. Catherine Sent on 09/14/2018My husband and I cannot thank Erika Smith with Indie Pearl Photography enough for her capturing our special day sooo perfectly!! I was worried at first because I have a huge family and I had a very large wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen) BUT She truly took the time to help me plan the timing of my wedding out so that we could fit in all of the shots I wanted without running behind AND IT WENT SOOO SMOOTHLY!! Erika has a beautiful soul and has such amazing talent that it truly shines through in her work! Tyler and I got our photos sooo fast and we were in awe of her work!! To say the pictures looked amazing would be an understatement because they are literally perfect!!!! She took the time to include everything and by everything I mean every detail!! I would highly recommend Erika Smith with Indie Pearl Photography to anyone I could because she literally is amazing inside and out!! Thank you again Erika for making our special day sooo amazing!!!

Paige Sent on 04/10/2018Where do I even begin...from the moment I first sent Erika a message until a few weeks after our wedding, Erika has been there with me every step of the way. In the beginning I was having a hard time finding a venue and Erika would send me locations to check out even before I booked her. She was always available via email and her booking process is super simple and streamlined. She went above and beyond throughout the wedding planning phase...sending us thoughtful notes, helpful suggestions, even a Christmas gift! I highly recommend doing an engagement session with her before your wedding so you get to know her...it was so nice having that time to let her get to know us and vice versa. It made the wedding day so much less stressful because Erika felt like one of my friends just hanging out with us while we got ready! She even brought sweet Sadie, her daughter, along on wedding day as a second shooter and it was so sweet watching Erika help her! Seriously I could keep going but all you need to know is if you book Erika you will not regret it. Everyone who has seen our photos oohs and ahhs and compliments her style, editing skills, etc. My mother in law is still raving about her to anybody who will listen! I can't wait to book her again in the future!! -

She was so calm and collected when everything felt hectic, as it usually is on such a big day. She helped us from plan our timeline and even helped the groomsmen fold up their handkerchiefs. She surprised us with the most beautiful sneak peeks the very next morning. We were truly blown away with the images and will cherish them for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding photographer to hire Erika immediately!
