The venue itself is gorgeous. The golf course is very well taken care of and they have newly renovated facilities. From our initial call with their team, we felt very supported and prioritized. Sharon is your main POC during the entirety of your planning process. She's kind and very easy to work with. Very clear and prompt with her communication. She is there to make your planning process as easy and stress-free and is happy to go the extra mile to ensure you are taken care of. I really appreciated her ability to lead us in the right direction based on her wealth of experience to guide us towards the wedding we described we wanted while also not stepping on any toes!
On your big day, Sharon passes the baton to the banquet manager, Robert, to lead in executing your event. I really can't speak highly enough of Robert and his team. Really just on top of his game and knows how to get the job done. Our wedding went off without a hitch and he made sure our special requests were executed! Not only was the IWGR team amazing the day of our wedding but was there to support the day before and after for drop off and picking up of items.
If you are considering IWGR for your wedding, I would go for it. We have not one piece of negative feedback to provide! -

Our wedding at IWGR was one for the books. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and responsive during our entire wedding planning process. From the venue tour, food tasting, and day of the wedding, our experience exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn’t be more grateful for all of their help and the venue was simply perfect. Wish we could relive that day all over again! If you’re looking for a venue in Indian Wells, this is it! -

We fell in love with IWGR as our venue on the first tour and wow did it turn out to be a perfect choice. First off - Sharon, IWGR’s coordinator, is the absolute best. She was always so responsive, flexible and easy to work with - so helpful! The service and food at IWGR is superior. We had an incredible food tasting that made for a fun memory. We held the rehearsal dinner at Kestrel in the clubhouse, it was not only gorgeous but top of the line service.
Throughout the two days, we received compliments left and right about the food, the quick service all around, and the incredible views.
Hands down the best day of our lives and a perfect choice for our big day! -

Amazing Wedding
This venue was awesome. From the first time we called and set up appointment to the day of our daughters wedding, Sharon and everyone we encountered at IWGR was amazing. Very professional, response time was quick, Sharon was awesome with information regarding timing. Food and service was amazing! I can’t think of one thing I was unhappy with! We had a wind “event” about an hour before they walked down the aisle but we had our reception inside and ceremony outside. The wind stopped and the ceremony was stunning. -

IWGR was an absolute dream for our big day! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but each person who works there is extremely kind and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
STAFF:
Sharon was a pleasure to work with. She was always patient when I asked a million questions, and she made sure to be available at all times. We really enjoyed having her help us throughout the wedding planning process.
Leslie was extremely helpful on the day of and was just a calming presence for all of us. She transported us to our different photo spots and even got me some ice when I got bit by a red ant while taking pictures. :')
The staff at the reception were truly the best. Each person was super accommodating and really made everyone feel at home. They were constantly checking in on my husband and me to make sure we had drinks, etc. We got quite a few compliments on the service, so it's great to know they were treating everyone with the same kind of care.
SCENERY:
IWGR has the best views of the desert mountains, along with all the pretty trees and flowers. During our ceremony, the sunlight was perfectly lined up and it just felt so magical! Everyone's pictures turned out beautifully.
FOOD:
The food was SO good. The beef short ribs and mashed potatoes were a huge hit. I actually had to stop eating halfway through my meal because there was so much food and I was getting stuffed lol. Everyone was talking about how delicious it was.
PRICE:
We live in OC but decided to look for venues in the the desert after discovering that none of the places we liked in our area were in our price range. We were shocked when we first visited IWGR and saw how beautiful everything is, even when you first step foot into the lobby. We visited another golf resort that day, which was just a few minutes away and had pretty much the same price point. We had such high expectations after seeing IWGR, and let me tell you, the other place wasn't even close... For the price, I really don't think you can get any better.
BRIDAL SUITE:
One of THE best parts (not just for the bride!). It's basically like a little apartment, and we were about to fit about 15 people in there comfortably while getting ready. It was so nice for the whole wedding party to have our own space throughout the entire day and night. My husband and I also loved that we had 10 minutes to ourselves before the reception to snack on appetizers and relax in the suite.
OVERALL:

Amazing Venue!!
Indian Well Gulf Resort is a magical place for a wedding and reception. We had great service, great food, and a stunning view. Sharon and her team are fantastic to work with; they are organized, kind, and clearly like what they do. Each member went out of their way to give us the most amazing day and went above and beyond to meet our needs. Sharon is patient and knowledgeable and responded to all of our questions, she was wonderful to work with. The pavilion is quiet and private and even comes with a bridal suite, giving the bride and wedding party a private place, our wedding party was able to cheers and have a moment before the wedding began. We had a wonderful wedding thanks to Sharon and her team! They even sent us out on the gulf cart so we could get amazing pictures! -

The most EPIC wedding!
This place is a hidden gem! Indian Wells Golf Resort provided the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding. On-site coordinator, Sharon, was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. She was responsive and stayed patient with the million questions we had throughout the planning process. Sharon did an incredible job and worked incredibly well with our Wedding Planner and the rest of our vendors to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. Special shoutout to Leslie who assisted with day-of logistics and Henry, who is in charge of banquets and the incredible staff at IWGR. My husband and I were married at IWGR on March 19, 2022 and we could not wait to post this review because, truly, there are not enough positive words for just how amazing IWGR is - from the spectacular views, to the amazing service staff, and the BEST food - we cannot thank everyone there enough for making our wedding more perfect than we could have ever dreamed. Every time we would come out to the desert from LA where we live, even on short notice, Sharon never hesitated to accommodate us for a quick tour around the venue, Lisa and her team hosted the most gorgeous rehearsal lunch for us, and Harry and his service staff are top notch. Everyone at IWGR is the definition of how to provide amazing service. Our guests are still not only raving about the views and the food (because they both are AMAZING), but they are still talking about just how personable the service was making each of them feel so special and cared for from start to finish.
If you are looking for a venue in the desert for your wedding weekend and your big day, seriously, stop here and look no further! There are a lot of beautiful venues in the desert, but there is no better place, staff, or team than those at IWGR to make your big day perfect. We experienced some wind during our ceremony, but the team pivoted seamlessly with our guests not knowing any different - a testament to the staff at IWGR (and all of our other amazing vendors - Stacey Jones, DJ Chris Paul, Artisan Events).
We were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day, because we knew everyone at IWGR would take care of the rest. Best decision of our wedding planning process BY FAR!Indian Wells Golf Resort's reply:

Our Wedding
My husband and I got married here and we had and amazing experience. Sharon and her team went above and beyond to make our day special and we couldn’t have asked for more. We had our ceremony on the lawn and our reception in the pavilion. The views were breath taking! Our guests loved the food too. I definitely recommend IWGR for all your future events. -

The most amazing wedding venue & team ever!!
We are indebted to Sharon and the fabulous IWGR catering/venue team for our incredible wedding on November 5, 2021. WOW were they amazing - their professionalism, service, responsiveness, care and quality were off the charts across the board. The venue itself is stunning and perfect for a fabulous wedding affair, and Sharon and her team are there to support along the way. Highly recommend this wedding venue!
IWGR was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Sharon is a pro - she's overseen many weddings here and has great advice and insight into what works and what doesn't. She's highly responsive and organized, and as a result our wedding planning went smoothly.
The venue itself is fantastic. We had the ceremony on the East Lawn and the mountains and trees, along with the late afternoon sun, made for a beautiful backdrop. The Pavilion was a great combination of outdoor-feel with indoor luxuries. Our parents wanted to make sure we had the options for AC, heat, and wind/rain protection, but the evening turned out to have perfect weather and we were able to leave the south doors open all night to bring in the desert breeze and a more open-air feel, with people freely moving between the pavilion and the patio all night. And being able to have the bride's room right there, along with spaces for the ceremony, cocktails, pictures, and reception, made for a very comfortable day for both us and guests.
A few tips:
1) We highly recommend putting up paper lanterns (or other lighting fixtures) over the tables in the pavilion. Paper lanterns cost a bit more than patio lights but help make the space feel more cozy and less cavernous. We used Luna at Arrangements Floral + Party Design for those, along with our flowers and other decor.
2) Photo credit to Jason Perryman, who was perfect for capturing everything from candids of guests, formal family shots, to stunning romantic bride/groom shots.
3) We rented out the Player's Room at IWGR to use as a childcare room during the wedding. All the parents in attendance raved about it, because they loved the convenience of being able to drop off their children but still have them nearby (also, some of the kids came to the tent for a bit of dancing and "late-night" pretzels, plus a ride on the golf carts). Sharon was awesome at coordinating that. We used Aunt Fran's to provide the childcare services.Indian Wells Golf Resort's reply:

WOW! That is the main impression my husband and I, as well as all of our guests, had of not only the venue - but the service provided!
The venue's beauty speaks for itself. We had our ceremony on the east lawn overlooking the gorgeous mountain range and palm trees and then moved our reception into the pavilion. Both spaces are absolutely breathtaking! The pavilion's full length windows throughout give an amazing sense of indoor-outdoor entertainment and captures the view beautifully so that you don't lose it once you move your wedding indoors.
The service exceeded all of our expectations and made the process so seamless. Sharon and her team are extremely professional and seasoned in their work. We had no doubt that they knew how to put on a perfect event (which they did!). Sharon was extremely helpful, accommodating to our needs, and always readily available to talk.
Our wedding day ran SO smoothly! The entire team helped in turning our dream wedding into a reality!! Our guests had the most amazing time and have not stopped raving about the beauty of the venue, the food served (best I've ever had at a wedding) and how much fun they had.

My fiance and I wanted a truly special and memorable destination wedding in the Palm Springs area. We considered several potential locations but KNEW we had found the place when we visited the Indian Wells Golf Resort after first reading about it on Wedding Wire and other top online wedding sites.
The location itself is spectacular - beautiful golf course with exquisite views of the surrounding mountains - but the Wedding Pavilion is the real show stopper. This gleaming white, permanent tent-like structure was the perfect place to host our reception.
We chose to be married on the adjacent lawn and afterward, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the Pavilion terrace. Numerous guests commented on the servers and the quality of service at the cocktail hour as well as inside at the reception. The space is grand and dramatic inside and lends itself to any decor. One entire side is a wall of floor to ceiling windows that open out to the terrace and golf course. There is also a large, comfortably and thoughtfully decorated bridal suite attached to the Pavilion that made getting ready and accommodating my family and bridal party a breeze.
Event Coordinator, Sharon Clark, made it effortless to plan my dream wedding there and couldn't have been more knowledgeable, helpful or responsive. Catering Manager, Harry Reuter, was also a true pleasure to work with and saw to our every food and beverage need - including making sure that the champagne, both inside the bridal suite and at the reception - was kept ice cold! The food was excellent and reasonable and our guests were so well taken care of by the staff. Valet parking is free and a fleet of golf carts shuttle guests across the bridge to the Pavilion and back again so older guests and those in high heels have a minimum of walking to do to get to the event or to return to their cars.
Many of the posh Palm Springs-area hotels charge almost 2 to 3 times as much for a reception. We found that the Indian Wells Golf Resort was not only a magnificent location, but also an excellent value. And, their chef, Nestor Ruiz, has worked at some of the top restaurants and steak houses in Southern California - and it shows!
Oh, and the venue has absolutely gorgeous locations for photography! Our photographer was taken around the property before the wedding by Event co-coordinator, Leslie Graham, to scout out locations for our photos in advance. After the wedding, Leslie zipped us around in her golf cart to each location, helping us make the most of the daylight still remaining and keeping us fresh and rested in between shots. She had cold water for us along the way which was very thoughtful and kept us cool and hydrated!
All in all, our wedding day was magnificent and effortless from start to finish and we cannot recommend the Indian Wells Golf Resort highly enough to future brides and grooms!

I cannot say enough Amazing things about my daughter's wedding at Indian Wells Golf Resort Oct 27/19. It was just The Best Venue and we are so happy with our memories of the fairytale evening! Sharon, the Event Manager was just so professional and warm and so lovely to deal with over the months of planning. She is such a great communicator and made everything so easy, love her taste and suggestions and she right up to the end was there on site for us making sure all was going as planned. .Harry and Scott also were terrific and really went out of their way to make sure the whole evening and the food and drinks were perfection-- and they were. We have had so many comments and thank you notes from guests and most of them make note of the best venue and delicious and amazing food and drinks. We thank the whole team at Indian Wells Golf Resort who all did a superb job! -

This was our favorite venue of all we looked at and Sharon Clark, Leslie Graham, Lisa and the whole team was absolutely amazing! They were so helpful and loving! We felt so special every time we were there and loved every experience with them. They all show their love for their jobs and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our decision. Went above and beyond our expectations!

Omg I can’t say enough about this venue. Breathtakingly beautiful... Sharon is Amazing.
Just amazing everything about the venue is amazing. Food amazing drinks amazing, views and scenery amazing, staff amazing, everything amazing!!!
The only thing is the pavilion is a blank slate so all decor audio and most lightning is on you! But it’s sooooo worth it!!! -
T Sent on 11/02/2017I cannot begin to tell you how happy we were with everything on our wedding day. The most important part of our reception was the pavilion and we definitely picked the best reception location! Sharon and everyone at IWGR were AMAZING. Starting with the coordination of the wedding, all the way to the cleanup at the end of the night; we were taken care of every step of the way.
Sharon was such a joy to work with. Every single one of our guests kept telling us that we picked the most beautiful venue. I completely agree! The food was fantastic as well. The entrees tasted exactly how they did when we did our tasting, and I know that is not always an easy thing to do with a large group.
A few things that made my night:
Marrying Haig (of course)
The golf cart with our “Just Married” sign on it
The food and Perrier in the bridal suite that kept me from passing out
Hearing our guests laughing and having a great time when they were coming across the bridge in the golf carts
All my vendors coming together and getting everything right!

They made my whole experience every easy, staff day of wedding was so friendly and on top of everything and making sure our guest and us were taken care of. Sharon always made me feel like I was not going nuts and all feeling and emotions I was feeling were super normal, she was always there to answer any questions. Leslie was great as well taking us to all the good picture locations and helping day of. Food was great everyone kept complimenting us on our selection. Tiffany Sent on 11/28/2016After touring several venues in the Coachella Valley, we knew that Indian Wells Golf Resort (IWGR) was for us after our first tour. We selected this venue because of the outstanding customer service that they provided on our tour, the beauty and versatility of the reception space, and the affordable options that they provided. Our wedding consisted of 225 guests. We had 20 tables, buffet set up, a bar, sweetheart table, candy table and photobooth outside. Sharon Clark, was our main point of contact and she was a joy to work with. She was extremely responsive, resourceful and an all around caring person. At no point in time did we feel like we were just another wedding party, and we were never upsold or asked to exceed our budget. The choice was always ours, and when we asked for options they delivered. On the day of the wedding the reception and photos on the property ran as planned. Our guests loved the golf cart rides and thought the desert backdrop outside the pavilion was breathtaking. We received many compliments from our guests on the food. We had a buffet that was plentiful and well stocked. Harry, our banquet director the night of, also oversaw our set-up and break down. Like Sharon, Harry was extremely kind and caring. The customer service provided by all staff, servers and representatives from this venue were top-notch before, after and during our wedding. If you have your event at IWGR it will be money well spent and we can confidently say you will be in caring and competent hands.
We had our wedding in July in Indian Wells and it was 110 degrees. I add this fact for brides who might be on the fence about a summer wedding in the area. We were well taken care of, as were our guests. No one passed out, we took thousands of fabulous pictures outdoors (no one melted) and we were able to take advantage of great lighting and sunset from 6-9PM. My husband and I highly recommend this gem in the desert for weddings or special events. -

The food they use for catering is onsite and delicious. I wish I could do it all again because it was so wonderful. By the end of our experience Sharon was like family. Our wedding at Indian Wells Golf Resort was perfect!
We had our wedding at the Indian Wells Golf Resort on 12/18/22 and we had the best experience here. So many of our guests commented about how nice and smooth our wedding was. Everything was executed so well! They were extremely organized about everything about the meals and service during the reception was flawless. The food was delicious, the cocktails were delightful and we had the best view to go along with it. Our pictures came out so beautiful!
Our favorite thing was how customizable everything was from the bar, to the food, to the floor plan. The venue itself also includes a ton of things like chairs and linen and etc.
Lastly, Sharon was extremely flexible when we found out we had to move our wedding day. We were so grateful for the flexibility they provided us.
I couldn't recommend this venue enough. Our wedding day was perfect.

We had our wedding at The Pavillion in the Indian Wells Golf Resort, the pictures featured on the site and socials do not do it justice and I am glad we went to see it in person. The staff was great and helped us navigate through Covid and date changes and our guests have commented how beautiful it was and how great the food was. Overall a great experience -

Sharon was fabulous to work with! She was knowledgeable with any questions I had about the venue and prompt when answering questions. The team as well as their services were impeccable and the guests loved the food the venue offered- large portions and delicious meals. The ceremony site was absolutely magical with magestic mountains in the background overlooking the golf course. Price wise, it was a little steep to get married on the West lawn vs the East lawn but we could not get over the view it offered and the guests were in awe of the surroundings.
