Best Makeup Experience Ever

Joanna was the best! Fist let me start with we are a same sex couple. Joanna did such a wonderful job with my wife who does not wear makeup ever and didn't want to wear any. I convinced her otherwise. Joanna listened to what she wanted and made it look natural. I on the other hand wanted to whole shebang. She made me feel beautiful! We chose airbrush makeup and at 2am I still looked amazing! It held up to a night of fun and dancing! She was with us all day until the wedding was over and freshened up our makeup for pictures after. One word - AMAZING!

Johanna is Very Talented !

Stunning makeup, sweetest person

My makeup looked incredible at my wedding, but even better Joanna was incredibly sweet and at my side for anything I could need. She even helped my wedding planner with other things just because she wanted my day to be perfect. I would use her for any special occasion, my makeup could not have been better! I’ve worn fake eyelashes hundreds of times, this was the first time they didn’t even budge. She is a wizard!

Beautiful day!

I first met Joanna at a Brides who Brunch event in Melbourne. She waxed my brows and I fell in love! I started going to Joanna regularly for brow maintenance and was so impressed! I just knew I had to book her for our wedding makeup. What I love about Joanna is just how great she is, but also how sweet she is! She spent nearly 5 hours with me and all my ladies glamming us up and she was so fun to hang out with. Everyone enjoyed her company and their fantastic makeup. For many of them, it was their first time getting professional makeup done. I loved seeing everyone's reaction once she was done. I have absolutely terrible skin and Joanna helped make all my insecurities melt away. Everything stayed put, too, after I cried my eyes out during our first look!! She will always be my go-to. Thanks, Joanna!!

I loved working with Joanna! She did a beautiful job at giving me all of the glam for my wedding day! She also did my mother, mom-in-law and 5 bridesmaids along with putting a little makeup on my poor little flower girls sunburnt nose for me along with a little shadow and lipstick. Not only did she make all of us look and feel gorgeous her personality is so bubbly and was my sweet voice of reason and calm when I was internally freaking out! She also had a great girl to do hair, Erin, who also did fabulous work and even came in on her birthday! These girls rocked it for me! Not only that they are experienced in the beauty game. I highly highly recommend in2yourbeauty!

Joanna and Michelle were so professional and were very easy to work with. They made my bridesmaids feel super comfortable and were willing to change things up and adapt. I truly enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to anyone! They made me feel beautiful on my wedding day.

I cannot recommend In2yourBeauty highly enough!

From start to finish, my dealings with Joanna were easy, comfortable and relaxed. She was so quick to answer when I enquired about her availability and wasn't ever pushy - she completely made me feel like this was all about me and what I wanted. She is a true artist when it comes to make-up.

The airbrush technique she uses is worth EVERY penny as it feels SO light and natural. I don't often wear make-up so I was at a loss as to what to tell her when it came to what I wanted so I asked for a "natural look" and she delivered while still making me look glamorous, and as every bride wants, to stand out from the crowd (or at least my bridesmaids ;-) ).

Joanna even went the extra mile for me when I had a last minute drop-out by my hair stylist and found me a stylist in the area who came to the trial (within a 2 day notice period!) and ended up being my stylist for the 'Big Day'.

She really is THE BEST. Book her!!!!!

Joanna was fantastic for my wedding. I was worried about airbrush because I usually only wear mascara but she gave me the natural look I was hoping for. She even gave me good advice on subtle ways to glam up a bit for my big day but still look natural. She came to the bridesmaids, the moms, and I with an awesome attitude. We had the wedding at my parents house so the day of was super stressful and frantic with last minute preparations, but she kept it cool with a big smile on her face and made sure we all looked great. One of my bridesmaids was pregnant so she was worried about her skin, but she told me the next day she couldn't believe how great Joanna made her skin look and that when she got home from the wedding (12 hours later) the makeup was still flawless. Also, my little sister usually wears crazy makeup, but I had told Joanna during my trial that I wanted her to look more subtle and warned her my sis might be fussy, but Joanna was able to make my sister feel glamorous without going over the top and my sister didn't even complain one bit (or have any idea I had spoken with Joanna about her previously). I would definitely recommend her!

Joanna did such a beautiful job on myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding! It was so interesting because she read each of my bridesmaids so perfectly--she knew when to go for more natural and when to go more glam. I am not a big makeup person but she did the just right amount where I still felt like me, but it also looked so beautiful in photos. Also, Joanna was so fun and made us all feel comfortable and upbeat while we were getting ready. Definitely recommend!!!

Joanna!!!!!!!!! She is the best! I can’t say enough about how amazing she is! She did my eyelash extensions and my bridal make up - not to mention she maintains my eyebrows on a regular basis. She truly is a gem. She thinks about every detail on the big day and goes above and beyond. She even made sure the hotel cleaned my room before we returned. She is a must for any brides big day!

Joanna is absolutely amazing!!! I am not a makeup person, and she did such a great job finding the perfect balance of transformation while making me still feel like me on my wedding day. In additon to my bridesmaids, she did makeup for my mom and mother of the groom. Both moms were skeptical of using a makeup artist, but seeing their reactions to their makeovers was priceless! I would recommend Joanna to anyone and will be calling her anytime I am in need of a makeup artist.

I would recommend Joanna again and again and AGAIN! She has an amazing personality and the skill set to match. She was a key asset in making this important day run smooth and I'm so thankful for her services! Professional makeup can have the tendency to look a bit thick or too dramatic. However, Joanna's air brush skills are nothing short of amazing. I felt like I wasn't wearing makeup at all!

I could not be happier with my wedding hair and make up. Everyone said I looked stunning- and more importantly, I FELT stunning. The airbrush makeup was like I was wearing nothing at all, and her relaxed easygoing attitude kept everything super laid back and stress free. 5 stars are not enough!

Joanna did a fabulous job on me and my maid of honors makeup. I asked for a natural look and she nailed that look! So many of my guests told me I was glowing! I was shocked at how long my makeup lasted, I actually slept in my makeup (oops..too many drinks) and woke up to see it was still perfect, even the lashes! The makeup also looked great in the photographs where often you can look flushed. My tom boy maid of honor has never felt more beautiful after Joanna did her makeup. She hates glamming up but couldn't stop looking at herself with Joanna's makeup. Joanna also got along great with my hairstylist who she had never met. She is very proffesional and worth every penny. Thank you Joanna for making me feel beautiful for my big day!

I cannot say enough how AMAZING our experience was with In2Your Beauty was!! Perfection!!! I have never felt more beautiful and my mother and daughter were "magazine" stunning as well. Joanna is so talented and the products she used did not run at all....the wedding was outdoors at Disney at noon in July, that's hot!! I made the right choice having her be part of our fairytale wedding!

Joanna and Dominique (hair stylist) were both amazing. I was terrified about how my hair would look for the wedding. Dominique understood what I wanted and changed my hair style until I loved it, even showed my mom how to put my veil which was another concern I had. Joanna did a great job, she was patient, friendly and even helped me calm down when I was stressed.

JoAnna was absolutely amazing. She was friendly and professional. I changed my mind last minute about the lashes she used in my trial and she had no problem at all working with me to find what I wanted for my wedding day. I would recommend Joanna for all brides and bridesmaids!!! I have been in three weddings as a bridesmaid and she has done my make up for every one of them...she is so amazing she HAD TO be my makeup artist for my wedding!!!! I wish I could rank her higher than a 5!!!! She is a 10!!!!!!!!!!!

Joanna was amazing! For the my make-up trial she came to me, which I thought was such a nice touch. She used high quality make-up and performed air brushing. During my trial, she made adjustments as needed and took thorough notes of every color and style of make-up she used for the day of. On the day of my make-up and my bridesmaid's make-up was flawless! She was so nice and easy to talk to, it helped make the whole getting ready process a breeze and so much fun! I would recommend Joanna to anyone in need of make-up services. She was fantastic!

Joanna did a perfect and beautiful job on me and my bridesmaids, the makeup lasted all day, even in the rain. The eyelashes stayed on for 4 days and looked perfect the entire time. It was such a fun and happy experience working with her, she is very polite and kindhearted person and I have already started recommending her to others.

Joanna is wonderful! She was so flexible to work with on the day of. She made me, my bridesmaids, and mom all feel relaxed and beautiful. My wedding was in June and nearly 100 degrees. Our photos we outside and we danced the whole night. After 11 hours in my makeup, my reception manager came up to me and said "You're make up is still perfect!" Use her! She's amazing!

Joanna is amazing! She made all my girls and myself look amazing! We had a blast dancing to music and giving me pre wedding advice before my big day! She was super flexible since our plan changed a million times! When disaster struck at last minute and she was in a different country traveling home, right when she landed she solved my problem. Joanna is amazing. She's organized, flexible, kind, professional, and of course, super talented! Prior to the wedding Joanna was quick to respond to emails, even reminded me of my lip color while vacationing in South America! Joanna did the make-up for 5 ladies, including myself (bride) and my mom. Neither of us wear make-up so we did a terrible job describing what we want and like, but she broke us down, figured us out, and made us look beautiful, fancy, yet natural (which was very important to me). The make-up lasted all day, even through tears, sun, and hours of dancing. I'd book Joanna in a heart beat for another service and recommend her to others.

Joanna absolutely exceeded my expectations for makeup. I felt like an absolute princess and so did all of my bridesmaids. She was able to look at picture of what I wanted and recreate it perfectly. She really listened to what each of us wanted and made us look incredibly beautiful!! Joanna was extremely professional and very patient. She was very flexible with how many people we had getting makeup done and made sure to finish everyone in a timely manner. Her partner Dominique who did hair for most of my bridesmaids did an exceptional job! Even when one bridesmaid wasn't completely happy, she made the appropriate changes to the style and made sure she was happy. I would highly recommend them for your wedding and their prices were very reasonable which was greatly appreciated!!

Joanna did an amazing job with myself and all of my bridesmaids. I truly felt beautiful on my wedding day and it wouldn't have been that way without her. She even made one of my flower girls feel extra pretty with some lip gloss. She was so sweet and I felt like I was in my room getting ready with a girl friend she was concerned about me, trying to help with my stress level and making sure I was eating and not starving myself on such a hectic morning. 100% recommend !!!

My wedding day was made super easy by having our hair and makeup done for us, Joanna and Dominique were very easy to work with and laid back, which just made the whole day go smoothly. Joanna has makeup skills like no other, my makeup came out to be more then I ever expected and I felt like a princess, my now husband told me he was blown away by my look, and the preview from my Photographer showed her great work as well. Her punctuality, professionalism and skills are highly recommend. I hope I need my makeup done in the future again, because I'll go straight to Joanna.

Joanna (makeup) and Dominique (hair) were both incredible!! They made everyone look exquisite! Everyone looked so natural yet so dramatic and beautiful. One of my bridesmaids had such a bad experience with another makeup artist in the past that she didn't even have makeup done on her own wedding day, but after seeing Joanna work her magic she ended up jumping right in the chair to have her makeup done for my wedding. Not only did they make everyone look fantastic, they were right on time and super laid back and fun to work with. We really enjoyed having them around throughout the morning while we were getting ready! I am a wedding photographer myself so when it came to choosing a MUA for myself there was really only one place to turn! I have worked with Joanna in the past on Photo sessions and I have loved her work. I have to say.. I am an older bride and I don't usually wear much makeup so I was slightly afraid that I would not look like myself on my wedding day. Joanna listened to me and created a beautiful, soft look that I wanted. She truly made me (and my girls) feel (and look) beautiful. I would highly recommend this company!

Joanna did an absolutely beautiful makeup job for myself and my girls on my wedding day! She worked hard to perfect the exact look I wanted during my trial and replicated it the day of! We also had so much fun getting ready with her in the bridal suite, I would reccommend her to anyone! :)

Joanna is simply the best! She made me and my ladies feel so beautiful on my wedding day. She is very understanding, listened to what kind of a "look" everyone wanted, and offered the best advice. She even showed us how to open a champagne bottle for the very important morning mimosas, and how to cry without smudging the beautiful makeup (which was very helpful during the ceremony). Have no fear when booking Joanna. She is VERY professional and no one compares to her!

Joanna is simply amazing at what she does. I gave her all my ideas and she seriously created my vision. She did my my makeup for my wedding, along with my mother and bridesmaids. Everything was perfect! She goes above and beyond - such as getting dresses zipped when zippers are stuck after an hour of trying, etc :)) Her personality rocks and I can't wait to work with her again and again!

I fell in love with Joanna's work when she did my make-up trial. I was so pleased with the job she did I did not want to wash any of the makeup off! On my wedding day I was showing some streaking from an airbrush tan..of course I was so worried that the blemishes would be obvious to others. The second Joanna saw the lines she said "oh that's no big deal, I cant take care of that." and she did!! Honestly, I wish she could do my makeup everyday! I was very happy with my "look" and so was my Husband. Joanna is very easy going with a fun personality. Great job Joanna, Keep up the good work :)

Joanna is a true artist. She listened to what me and my wedding party wanted. We were a small group and she listened to everyone. She did a spectacular job on my makeup. I wanted something more dramatic than the natural bride look. She did stunning eyes and lips. My makeup lasted all through the beach humidity. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist to do my makeup for our wedding. Joanna is so flexible and works excellent with people who don't normally wear makeup like my mother-in-law, sister and myself. As a bridesmaid in my sister in laws wedding I was treated to an amazing makeup job by Joanna! She is a magician when it comes to her craft. Joanna not only did an amazing job applying our makeup but was full of tips, humor, kindness, fun, and even held my son while we did pictures! Joanna did such a great job on the makeup for my bridesmaids and I. Everyone loved the way their makeup looked! She listens to exactly what you want and has such a great personality to top everything off. She was such a help on my wedding day with everything (couldn't find the wedding rings, she held my nephew while we took pictures, and showed me how to make an awesome mimosa!) Joanna did such an amazing job for my sister's wedding and I couldn't be happier with how we all looked and felt!! She did the makeup for most of the wedding party, and not only did she do a great job of listening to each of our requests and the specific looks we were going for, but she managed to keep all of us on schedule and smiling. An impressive feat when you consider there were nearly a dozen people she fully made up, in military precision, in mere hours. Joanna is incredibly professional and the quality of her work definitely reflects her passion for her craft and her understanding of how to make each person look their very best without looking overly made up. But the true testament to the quality of her work, was that we all still looked flawless after a long and surprisingly warmer than expected night.
Joanna does a wonderful job and is the just most cheerful and calm person ever; two very important qualities you absolutely want to have in someone helping you get ready on your wedding day or for any type of celebration. Having Joanna there really made the whole day memorable and fun, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a top quality makeup artist!

Joanna did my makeup for my engagement session and now I am booking her for my wedding as well! I couldn't be happier with her work. Joanna is an beautiful woman on the inside and out. She made it so easy to say yes to using her for wedding day makeup. The whole process was very relaxing from the trial to the big day. I actually teared up at the end of my trial for reasons Joanna didn't know at the time. I had cancer last year and I had not felt that beautiful in a long time- especially since I have many scars now from numerous surgeries. She made me so comfortable and I felt so good about myself and to me that feeling could not be replaced. Joanna is laid back and easy to work with and also very professional. She made me very comfortable while getting ready and it truly felt as though she was family hanging out with all of the rest of us. I thought her prices were very fair and competitive for the Orlando area. Her wonderful personality along with her beautiful makeup made her an amazing choice for wedding makeup. I would without a doubt choose her all over again!

Joanna was amazing the day of my wedding. She was on time, professional and stayed on schedule even when thrown a curveball of 3 additional family members wanting to get their makeup done! Beautiful work!

Joanna and Erin (hair stylist that she coordinated with for my event) were amazing. The quality of their work was nothing short of perfect! Joanna was very good with my daughters, one who is VERY particular about her makeup, and the other who NEVER wears makeup. All three of us looked so naturally beautiful! Erin made our hair look lovely. We all had exactly what we asked for. They were both professionals and a pleasure to be around while my nerves were kicking up. They helped to reassure that my nerves were normal and made me laugh and that's not even what they were there for! Thanks again to both of you!

I cannot say enough about the quality of Joanna's work. I wanted a makeup look based on a blogger I follow (we have similar dark features), and Joanna adjusted it to my face shape and gave me the exact brown subtle smokey eye I wanted. Of course I did a trial, but she also handled my bridesmaid's various requests on my wedding day with ease. I let my bridesmaids request whatever makeup they wanted, and so Joanna did a cat eye, natural makeup, contour and a gray smokey eye. She also did my mom's makeup, and handled the vague requests of bridesmaids who honestly didn't know what they wanted! Everyone felt gorgeous and glamorous, and that added so much excitement to our day and all of the pictures we took.

I would highly recommend Joanna because unlike many makeup artists, she is not tied to one look or style. Whatever your desired look, Joanna can make it happen, and make you feel like a million bucks.

ALSO, make sure to get Joanna's eyelash extensions before your wedding. They stay on for 2 weeks (through your honeymoon) and make you look SO glamorous, even if you have no other makeup on.

Let me start off by saying that I am NOT a makeup girl.

When we did my bridal makeup trial, it was beautiful, but I felt like it wasn't me. So we talked and Joanna was extremely flexible in revising the look to make me more comfortable (thank you!). She is also reminds you that on the wedding day, you also have hair done differently and are in fancy gown, which really helped and put things in perspective.

When the big day came, she did airbrush makeup on the entire bridal party and the mothers, and did several tattoo cover-ups. Everything was FLAWLESS. I've never seen my mom and friends more gorgeous! The makeup lasted all day and through several brief periods of happy tears. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Thank you, Joanna!!

Joanna did airbrush makeup for me and Dominique did my hair. I have moderate acne scarring and the makeup covered it up so well. Joanna listened to what I wanted, which was a specific style, and executed it well. Dominique did an amazing job with my hair - I never knew my hair could even look like that! I received a ton of compliments on my hair and makeup all day long. The ladies were also very sweet and accommodating and showed up on time, every time.

Joanna did an amazing job for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day! In the beginning of our communication with each other, she was not very prompt with returning emails and it was difficult to set up a trial consultation date. However, once the consultation was complete I knew I wanted her to makeup my ladies for the big day also! The day of the wedding I was very stressed and anxious and Joanna did a great job calming me and letting me have some alone time to zone everyone out. The finished looks were perfect! We each had airbrush and some had false lashes. Everyone looked beautiful. My makeup lasted all night! I just did some retouching with my gloss. Would definitely recommend Joanna!

Joanna does good work. The response time with Joanna was 48 hrs. I was not happy with Ashley's work. Ashley never got in touch with me for my hair trial redo. After expressing not wanting to use Ashley because of lack of communication for a re-trial, Joanna decided that she did not want to do my make-up for my wedding. I did not have a great experience like the other ladies reviews.
