I was so impressed when I attended my granddaughter’s wedding here on June 20th, 2026. The venue was absolutely beautiful — the buildings and grounds were immaculate and blended perfectly with the spectacular natural surroundings. It created the most peaceful and stunning backdrop for such a special day.
A very special shout‑out goes to Matthew, the wedding coordinator. He was truly exceptional. From the rehearsal to the ceremony and all the way through the reception, he was on top of everything. He kept everyone relaxed, handled every detail with professionalism and kindness, and made sure the entire day went off without a hitch. Any request we had, he was right there and happy to help. It was clear he loves what he does, and it made all the difference.
This venue, combined with Matthew’s dedication, made my granddaughter’s wedding unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The "Total Package"
In the Woods is the perfect combination of a venue with breathtaking natural beauty and amazing coordination. From our very first tour to our wedding day, everything ran smoothly.
We held our ceremony in the outdoor chapel overlooking the lake, which provided a stunning backdrop that our guests are still talking about. The bridal suite and groom’s lounge were perfect for getting ready, and the reception space offered that ideal "indoor-outdoor" flow. The grounds are so naturally beautiful that we barely needed any extra decor.
Adrea Jackson, our event coordinator, made the entire pre-planning process feel effortless. She was incredibly responsive, always willing to jump on a call or meet in person. And her vendor recommendations were great. On the wedding day, she was so on top of every detail that we were able to be completely present and stress-free.
Whether you are local or planning a destination wedding, we cannot recommend Adrea and the In the Woods team highly enough!

The Most Beautiful Venue, and an Amazing Team!
My husband and I got married at In the Woods in October of 2025. We worked closely with Catherine, and had Matthew as our wedding planner. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this place and about the people running it. Catherine is one of the kindest people who truly wants to make every wedding as perfect as she can. Working with Matthew as our wedding planner was a 10/10 experience!! He was very hands-on through the whole process, and truly made wedding planning a breeze. Not to mention he is like a built in bestie through the process!! He is very attentive to the bride, and makes sure he is helping her achieve the wedding of her dreams. We are now 6 months out from the wedding, and my husband I still talk about how wonderful Matthew was!
As far as the venue and the amenities (bridal suite, grooms suite, ceremony, honeymoon suite, and reception hall) - We were BLOWN away with the venues beauty and how much care and heart went into to making this venue. We are beyond thankful for the ITW team and would 10/10 recommend this venue!!

The best wedding venue ever!
In The Woods is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL and amazing wedding venue. They include so much in their package and let me say it is 1000% worth it!! We especially loved that the chapel had a roof! So no matter the weather you can still have your lakeside forest wedding.
They have wedding coordinators that are super sweet and work tirelessly to make sure your wedding is everything you dreamed of. In fact everyone that works there is so sweet!
We love this venue and the owners so much. 20/10. Definitely recommend!!

In The Woods was a wonderful wedding venue. We got a very high level of service, every detail was taken care of. We even used preferred vendors and we were delighted with each one of them. The pictures we have are amazing because of this beautiful place. We stayed there in the honeymoon suite. Every detail was perfect. I highly recommend this venue.

This was the best wedding venue ever. Matthew the wedding coordinator made me feel so special and heard! He supported me and was always available. Catherine was so kind and flexible with everything! The florist, DJ, and catering were perfect. This place made a stressful time not so stressful. When I struggled to see my vision they told me to trust them and the process and it turned out better than I ever could have imagined. Flexibility is unmatched!
I have been in and gone to many weddings where the venue has odd, strict rules that make no sense. The one thing that was clear from day one of working with In the Woods was that they understood some of the necessary parts of planning a wedding (parking, access to bridal suites early, food and alcohol) and accommodate many requests with agility and professionalism! Not to mention, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. The consistent feedback we received from our guests was that it was the most beautiful venue they have ever been to!
I worked with the on-site venue coordinator, Matthew, who helped SO much with planning and logistics, especially in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The entire venue team was spectacular and their preferred vendors are also so talented!

You can’t find a better venue then In The Woods!
The whole venue is absolutely beautiful! The chapel being open and in front of a lake is absolutely stunning! For us to get married at a venue like this was a privilege! Our coordinator Rachel was great! She made was very helpful and very quick to respond! She made it worry free and that help everyone be at ease. Most importantly she was super patient because we speak a different language. At times there would be communication errors but it all worked out! She made this whole process of getting married 10x better because we could actually enjoy our wedding and not have to worry about anythIng. Ok now my honest opinion is that for the value that you are pay and how much you are getting to use at the venue is worth every single penny. I was shocked at then price because we saw a lot of other venue and they didnt offer no where near as much as In The Woods. I highly recommend this venue to everyone! Now the negative about the venue….. there is none.

Perfect venue, but had an issue with one vendor
Don’t be fooled by the name! In The Woods is a GORGEOUS venue and the day of coordinator was perfect! They do have a preferred vendors list, which is helpful, but I had an issue with the MUA I went with (Morgan Reynolds). A month before my wedding, she told me she had another event (prom) that day and didn’t tell me when she needed to leave until the morning of. My mom wasn’t able to get her makeup done! And the reason she had scheduled another event…my bridal party, with 7 people needing services, wasn’t enough to make it worth it. Very disappointed. Not to mention, I had to get my MOH to help with my bun after she had left because pieces kept coming out; BUT one of my bridesmaids had to keep recurling her hair, which has never happened before. So, either have written confirmation when you book your MUA that she will not book another event on your WEDDING DAY or simply go with someone else.

Our wedding day was truly magical! The team at In the Woods were so helpful, kind, energetic, and friendly. They checked on me (the bride) numerous times throughout the planning process and encouraged me in all my ideas and thoughts! It was the perfect mix of church wedding and naturalistic beauty. The perfect venue
Couldn’t have asked for anything better. The venue is all inclusive so you don’t have to find a DJ, florist, coordinator, or caterer. Their vendors are all phenomenal, and I couldn’t have been happier with the wedding day and the interactions leading up to the wedding day. Every guest we’ve spoken to has said “it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to.” Also you MUST see this venue in person because photos cannot do it justice.

The Best Venue Ever!!
Got married August 2023, this venue was everything. It was so convenient to have everything in one space. We booked the regular ceremony and reception area package and added on their honeymoon suite for the day before and night of, as well as the airbnb they offer which can only be booked through them. It was great because the girls got to use the honeymoon suite for a girls night in bachelorette party while the guys used the airbnb which is right next door to the property so you don't have to worry about them being late. My coordinator Rachel was so amazing and helpful. We knew nothing about planning a wedding and she help with everything including things we didn't think of. She made sure nobody caused any trouble on our day and that we were okay the entire time. Catherine, the owner is also very nice and helpful she even allowed a little bit of flexibility when it came to payments. If I had to do it all over again I would choose them again. It was the best day ever and they made sure of that. Id recommend everyone to book In The Woods for their wedding!!

The BEST venue out there!
This is the absolute BEST venue. It has everything you could want— a groom’s lounge, bridal suite, honeymoon cabin, reception hall, ceremony site, AND a house on property for family staying. Not to mention you get a Day of Coordinator. Rachel was our Day or Coordinator, and she was a godsend and I am so very thankful for her. Our entire wedding party and both families were so thankful for her. We could not have asked for a better person to help ensure our day went smoothly. She made our day so much better. I had some mishaps with my signs literally the morning of, and she took care of everything. She by far exceeded expectations. The communication between staff and us exceeded expectations. This place is THE place to get married. It is absolutely gorgeous. This was the first, and only, venue that my husband and I looked at. We fell in love before we even saw it in person. I promise you, you cannot go wrong with booking here. Your day will be magical. Catherine was a delight to work with and we are very thankful for the generosity and hospitality she provided at her venue. Not to mention most of the florals were included and they were SO beautiful.

This venue is not only STUNNING but very well run and organized. Catherine helped my husband and I get set up and we had Mathew as a wedding coordinator and he was fantastic and fun to work with! Everyone there was very friendly and willing to help us through the wedding planning process. Would definitely recommend this venue. Also, they have a list of helpful vendors that work regularly with the venue and we chose Maddie Jane for our photography. In the woods is the venue of my dreams, and it still doesn’t feel real that we got married there! It truly was the most magical place! Even though it’s beautiful and all inclusive, that only touches the surface. Catherine and Matthew truly made our time there effortless, and made sure our day was perfect. All of the staff were attentive, caring, and respectful. Matthew Hendrix was the best wedding coordinator. He was so amazing through the entire experience. Catherine did so well with all of the important things. And Gail our florist was amazing. She gave me the most beautiful bouquet.

In the Woods was an amazing experience! They were so helpful throughout the engagement process and then on the day of the wedding were fantastic. Michelle was amazing and was always there to answer questions and help, so that things went flawlessly. I could not recommend this venue enough. Beautiful Venue and Helpful Staff
In The Woods was such a beautiful venue and took such great care of the wedding party and guests during the wedding! Guests are still telling me how special the venue was. Matthew, our Coordinator, was easy to work with and handled all of our external vendor communications day of, which was really helpful. It's also so nice that they have so many decor items to choose from so you aren't having to bring anything extra in and they set everything up and take everything down. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Dreams absolutely do come true!
I cannot say enough about this venue! My daughter & Son-in-law’s wedding was delayed due to Covid and being out of the country. We finally had a window of time for the ceremony that gave us 6 months to plan. Catherine was so helpful from the first call we had with her and Matthew was amazing, from meeting with me while my daughter was with us virtually to making sure every detail was as we requested. The rest of the staff were there working behind the scenes and taking care of us from the moment we got there until we left. The venue is simply breathtaking and so quiet & peaceful. Every detail has been thought of from the bridal & grooms suites, to the arrival of the bride at the ceremony. We received so many compliments from our guest about how amazing it was. We highly recommend this venue!

The Perfect Wedding Venue!
I had my wedding here at In The Woods and I cannot say enough good things about them. The facility itself is just so beautiful, and everyone I worked with was incredible and I didn't have to worry about anything getting done, so I had an extremely easy and stress-free time planning my wedding. The co-ordinator I had did a fantastic job, he checked in regularly and was always available if I needed anything. The florist put together the most beautiful arrangements. The DJ was fantastic. I cannot say enough positive things about them, they just made everything super easy and I would recommend them to everyone!

As a bride, all you want is to be relaxed during the wedding experience, and this venue made the whole process worry free! When I found this venue, I loved the chapel in the woods, that was the vision I had! It was beautiful, covered, and had the perfect backdrop for our wedding! I loved how some items were included with the venue, which a lot of other places just don’t offer. Our wedding day was truly magical and ran so smoothly! Catherine and Kym made everything run perfectly, I never had to worry about anything! If you have your wedding here, you won’t regret it!

Our wedding day was like a dream and that was all due to this venue! They went above and beyond making sure every detail of our day was perfect!! The people that work at this venue are all very nice & super helpful. They provided great instructions & a nice list of vendors in case I didn’t have any picked out myself. The venue itself was gorgeous & I wouldn’t have picked a better place to get married to my best friend. The day was a little chilly but the employees were prepared with blanks & umbrellas for us.
Like another person, I am very OCD. So make sure you pay attention to every detail & make sure you confirm placement of everything. I am very happy with this venue & would recommend it to anyone that asks.

Incredible service, perfect wedding venue
I cannot say enough great things about In The Woods. Catherine and Kym worked with me so well to ensure every detail of my day was perfect. The venue is breathtaking. The chapel overlooking the lake made for a beautiful setting. The staff bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of. My wedding far exceeded every single one of my expectations and I know it’s because of the sheet beauty of this venue and the incredible staff. If anything did go wrong, I don’t know about it because Kym made sure everything was handled. She arranged all catering and vendor drop offs and bent over backwards to accommodate myself and my guests. I don’t have one single complaint or negative thing to say-it was simply perfect. GET MARRIED HERE!! Best experience ever!!

In The Woods was wonderful to work with from the beginning. Kym the wedding coordinator was great to work with and made it all come together in the end. The florist was amazing and wonderful to work with. The 2 caterers we worked with for the rehearsal dinner and reception did a great job. Everyone enjoyed the food. We also used one of In The Woods’ preferred vendors for the photographer and had a great experience with them as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience working with In The Woods and they made the day one we as the bride and groom and family could enjoy and not be stressed and that is a true blessing.

Absolutely the best wedding venue EVER!
In The Woods was the first venue we found online and decided to take a tour, needless to say we did not tour any others!! There was no need! The property is absolutely stunning and maintained to a T! They have truly thought of it all. Catherine was so sweet and helped me through the entire process, I had a million questions while trying to plan a wedding through a pandemic and she was always so responsive and sweet! The coordinator Kym is the BEST! I have no clue how she does what she does! Through the entire 9 months of planning, she was there every step of the way. Our wedding was absolutely FLAWLESS and we owe it all to her! She is so on top of her game when it comes to the bridal party, the guests, the transportation, the timing/flow of the ceremony, and keeping you on track in the reception. After our first meeting I could take a deep breath and feel assured my big day was in her hands. In The Woods should really know what a GEM they have in her. You will NOT regret having your wedding here....it was the BEST decision we made. It was a day I will never forget. Thank you In The Woods!

A Dream Venue
In The Woods is an amazing venue that I would highly recommend to anyone who is look for a beautiful, natural venue. While the drive is a bit far from Atlanta, it is 10000000% worth it. It feels like you are in your own private oasis and you instantly feel calmer upon arrival. I stayed at the venue the night prior to our wedding with my best friend and it so relaxing to have some quiet time before the festivities started. They were so easy to work with pre-COVID and so accommodating once COVID hit. The florist, DJ, and catering options they provide are AMAZING and also a dream to work with. This venue goes above and beyond to make your special day feel even more special.

The Serenity's and peacefulness you get when entering the chapel area, left all my guest speechless. It has been rumored that they gasped and felt like they were in a scene from the movies. We got married at ITW on August 31 and it was nothing short of perfect. If anything went wrong, we didn’t know about it. Kym was FABULOUS- was there every step of the way & thought of things before I had to. The DJ, flowers, catering, bartenders, etc were all so great. I really don’t have one complaint except I wish it lasted longer. We HIGHLY recommend using ITW for your big day- you won’t regret it!

My husband and I were very impressed with In the Woods, LLC. Compared to some of the other venues we toured, it was a bit pricey, but it was totally worth every penny. Not only is the scenery gorgeous, but the staff is super helpful. Our coordinator, Kym, was there for us with any questions we had. She was AMAZING! The entire staff ensured that the whole day went smoothly, and we had nothing to worry about. We would not change a thing if we had to do it all over again. This was the first of many venues that we toured, and it was the one that we kept going back to. We just knew it was the one for us, and if you just go for a tour, you would see exactly what we mean. We definitely recommend choosing In the Woods, LLC to have your big day. You will not be disappointed!

What a blessing to find this place!
You will do yourself a big favor if you just see this venue in person! The pictures really do not and cannot do it any justice. However beautiful it looks like in pictures--wait til you see it with your own eyes! What an absolute blessing it was for us to find this place. Not only was it beautiful and well maintained but Catherine and Kym made the whole process from start to finish painless and stress-free for all of us involved. Many have made the comment that I was the calmest bride they've ever met--I believe this to be in part because of how well taken care of our whole party was from the very beginning. If I had to do it all over again I would not hesitate to work with them once more. It was an absolute pleasure to be married here!

I cannot say enough about this venue. It was the only venue we looked at. Once we were there we new it was the one. Everyone was extremely professional and our wedding coordinator (Kym Purvis) WAS INCREDIBLE!!! She totally rocked it! The venue was everything I have ever dreamt about. The staff, especially Kym, were amazing. You expect at least SOMETHING to go wrong, but it went just as planned.

Most beautiful place ever
As soon as we toured this venue we decided this was the place and looked no further!! All the staff is AMAZING and their recommended vendors were a perfect fit for what we had in mind!! Our day ran so smoothly and it was all because of In the Woods and their staff!!! So blessed to be able to have had our wedding day here! It was perfect!

Best Day Ever
Catherine and ITW were incredible. So accommodating. Jessica and Cole took such great care of my dad and me as it was freezing cold and rainy right before the ceremony.

The best day of my life!
This venue has everything you could ask for and more. From the beginning of planning to the very end of our special day, everything was perfect. Catherine was always quick to respond whenever I had questions, and Kathy was there to help calm my nerves when we had more people than expected. I would recommend this venue to anyone!!

It was such a pleasure working with Kathie. She was so helpful and made sure we didn’t stress over anything. The venue overall was gorgeous and absolutely breathtaking. Kathie made sure wedding day was set up perfectly and would check on us every now and then as we got ready. I wouldn’t change a thing about our venue or how the day went. Everything went smooth and just the way we wanted it.

IN LOVE WITH THIS VENUE! From the first time you drive up through the stunning gates and drive around this wonderfully designed venue, our hearts were sold immediately! Catherine and her wedding coordinate, Kathie took the upmost care of my husband and I leading up to our big day and even helped up find our wedding day photographer/videographer (Shout out to Marc + Anna Photo and Film) and our caterer (Dru Girls, LLC). We were blown away by every single detail that they had thought of and couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. If you are even thinking about choosing them, GO VISIT the venue for yourself and fall in love, because there isn't anything quite like it.

My wedding at In The Woods was everything I dreamt it would be and more. I would do it all over again and wouldn’t change a thing! Catherine the owner is very sweet and her event coordinator Kathie was wonderful to work with. When we took our tour there before deciding on a venue, Kathie painted the day for me so I could see myself getting married there. She completely sold me on it and working with her was such a pleasure. She truly is wonderful! She takes care of pretty much everything for you to ensure you don’t have to worry about anything on your big day. Book your wedding here, I can assure you, you won’t be sorry!

We absolutely could not say enough good things about In The Woods. Catherine and Kathie were absolutely amazing to work with and the venue was so incredible. Our family and friends kept telling us that this was the best location to have a wedding and how beautiful it was. I could not express enough how amazing Kathie is. She is so sweet and really helped us through the whole process. She took a lot of the stress off our shoulders and helped us pull all of our ideas together to give us the wedding of our dreams. It was helpful that In the Woods offered an inclusive package that took the stress of finding vendors off our shoulders by providing us with a DJ, florist, and linking us up with a caterer. We highly recommend In the Woods to anyone looking to have an outdoor rustic wedding. It was everything we could of dreamed of and more and Kathie really worked with us to make it personable to us as a couple. On the car ride after our reception we were so excited to be married but sad to be leaving this incredible place and how much we would miss the staff.

Everything about our wedding day was flawless. From planning on day one to the actual day of the coordinator, Kathie, left us feeling excited, confident, and at ease with the entire process. In The Woods is a venue I would recommend over and over again, as would our guests, as they all raved about how beautiful the venue is and how wonderful the night was! We could not be more pleased with all the staff throughout this entire year of planning. Thank you for making all of our dreams come true!!!

This is absolutely the best venue!! My wedding was amazing and everything I could have ever hoped for! Kathie and Catherine are amazing and seriously made the whole thing stress free! The venue is so beautiful and peaceful!

Absolutely loved our venue! I would highly recommend In the Woods. The scenery is stunning. Kathie and Catherine are so helpful with ideas and making your own ideas come to life. They were very flexible when the weather became very cold and rainy and made sure all my guests and bridal party were comfortable. Kathie kept all the groomsmen in line and was very helpful in getting my mom around, she uses a cane to get around.

Beautiful venue with even better service! Ms. Kathie is awesome! She always answered phone calls and met with us to go over every detail. She took care of everything on the wedding day which made my special day stress-free! At In the Woods you feel like you are in your own world. I loved how big and spread out the venue was. The bridal cottage and guys pool and pool house are on the complete opposite ends of the venue. The chapel is beautiful while you get to get married outside with the lake in the background, the church pews makes it feel more traditional. Every time we went to visit they were always working on updating something. They include great vendors with the package and Timbo's catering was amazing!!! In the Woods has everything you could ever think of and is the perfect venue for your perfect day!

The In The Woods team helped make our wedding absolutely perfect! From the very start of touring the venue with Catherine to working with Kathie was very professional. Kathie made sure everything we wanted at our wedding was perfection. Everyone was so nice to work with and was so caring. All of our wedding guests would not stop talking about how beautiful the venue is and how nice the staff is!

We had the most wonderful experience planning our wedding at In the Woods! All employees and referred vendors were so easy to work with, professional, fun, personable, and always quick to communicate. The venue was absolutely stunning on our wedding day and things went perfectly smoothly thanks to all those involved. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

We could not have picked a better place for our memorial day weekend wedding! In the Woods is absolutely dreamy and as if the beauty and tranquility of the venue is not enough, Kathie (coordinator) and Catherine (owner) made our experience one for the books. Kathie was in constant contact with us throughout the year of planning, promptly answering all of our emails and calls. We were allowed to visit the property at our leisure (as long as there was not an event going on) throughout the planning process which was so helpful when we needed pictures, table dimensions, etc. to help with planning for decorations! Kathie took care of all of the logistics on our big day and made it as stress-free as possible. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would choose In the Woods over and over again.

In the Woods is such an AMAZING place. From start to finish, my husband and I could not have asked for a better/easier planning process and wedding day because of the In The Woods staff. Catherine was very helpful with any questions I had along the way. Kathy made all the details come together way better than I could have imagined. They communicated very well with me throughout the planning process. The chapel is the most perfect place to get married because it is outdoors yet also feels traditional and never got too hot! The reception was the party of our lives. The flowers and DJ companies that come with the venue are also great and preofessional. The honeymoon suite was so much fun and clean. Go and check out this property. The pictures are stunning but don't even do it justice.

If you are looking at In The Woods for your wedding all you need to do is go on a tour of the beautiful venue and meet their incredible staff and I know you'll be sold on them! Everyone at In The Woods does absolutely everything possible to make sure you have your dream wedding. You meet with them on site to plan everything and they talk you through all parts of the wedding from the rehearsal all the way through to the send off. Kathie and Catherine really are amazing. I also recommend Gail at A Perfect Wedding Floral Design for flowers and Timbos for catering!

I cannot say enough thank yous to explain how perfect our wedding day was at In The Woods. Catherine and Kathie went out of their way to make sure our day was everything I had dreamed of and so much more. From day one of looking for a venue we were sold when we saw all that In the Woods had to offer. It's in the perfect location and so fitting for an outdoors/elegant wedding. We also took advantage of the honeymoon suite. Overall perfect day and we cannot thank the whole In The Woods enough! Best Day Ever!!

In The Woods is wonderful...rustic and elegant at the same time. Catherine and Kathie, the staff there, are also so amazing. They were helpful and supportive and made it so that we had nothing to worry about the day of our wedding.
I also planned this wedding from a few states away, so planning could have been a nightmare. BUT it wasn't because of how Catherine and Kathie run their venue. They were sure to suggest local bakeries and make-up artists and the two catering companies they have on file were also incredibly professional and accommodating.
Basically, you won't find a better place to celebrate your new marriage. You and your guests will love this location.

In the Woods was the best decision my husband and I made for our special day! Kathie and Catherine were both so amazing to work with. The staff, DJ (TC Show), catering (Timbos BBQ), and photographer (Living Loved Photography) all were exceptional to work with. I live in Virginia with my military husband, we both have family in Al, Ga, and Fl. Ga was the middle ground for the wedding and we were so fortunate to have found In the Woods! Living in a different state with limited trips to Ga, I was so thankful to have our wedding coordinator Kathie and Catherine. There was no way I could have pulled a wedding as grand as ours together if it wasn't for them. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. Not once did I have to worry about anything. They are quite organized, professional, and overall just amazing people. The venue itself was so beautiful and perfect! I would not have changed one thing about our special day. :D
