The best!

All I can say is WOW!!! In The Mood DJ Productions is the best of the best! I used them for my wedding and NO ONE left the dance floor the entire night. I cannot stop talking about them. I have no words to describe Amanda!! She was just so easy to work with, so professional, so friendly and just so helpful from start to finish. She even went out of her way to help us out when we had a last minute emergency!! I was lucky enough to have Mo as my DJ (the absolute best)! Carlos as the MC and Jay as the Percussionist - WHAT A TEAM!! Thank you for making our special day so much fun!! We are forever thankful and grateful to you all!!
Can't wait to use you for future events!

In the Mood DJ is the ONLY way to go!!!

used "In the Mood DJ" for my wedding, last Monday; and what a great experience it was! My husband and I were introduce to the DJ company through our venue, who was amazing so we knew we could trust them as well. Once we had the connection, we made an appointment with Amanda who helped us book the entire event. Amanda being someone who has the biggest heart ever, even offered to work our photobooth because she knew that our wedding needed special attention. We had many details to our wedding and wanted certain things done a certain way. She cared so deeply about making sure our vision came true that she truly did work the photobooth just so she can be sure it went well. I honestly cant rave enough about how much I love this DJ. We wanted more of a sit down dinner reception without dancing; which we know is not common. She offered us so many options to fill up time with games they hosted and got our guest situated so they were having fun the entire time. Amanda and Vinny were a pleasure to work with. Amanda, quickly became family to my family when she made my moms vision of what our first dance would be. It was my moms last wedding for her kids (I'm the youngest in the family) and my mom wanted to dance with me to my dads favorite song. Amanda knowing that this dance would be hard for my family and I, set the whole thing up, up until the moment our feet hit the dance floor. to be transparent, I recently lost my dad and my mom wanted to dance with me to the song she last danced to with my dad. It was hard, but it was beautiful and I have Amanda to thank for that memory. She has such a sweet soul, she checked up on my husband and I numerous times during and after the ceremony to see if there is anything she can do for us, which was soo appreciated. Everything that we wanted "In the Mood DJ" provided. So if you ask me, this is the only DJ company I would even think of recommending. Thank you Amanda, Vinny, and everyone at the company. Our day was so special and you played a huge part in that! We love you!

Had a great time!

In the Mood DJ was amazing. Jimmy was great, so personable. I was so happy, he kept people dancing the entire evening. The music he played was a great mix that I got so many compliments from our guests. We also got our Photobooth from them as well and that was a huge hit!!

Our DJ and emcee did a wonderful job! They had everyone dancing, played everything we needed, and were very friendly and professional. I appreciated that they checked in with me once or twice to make sure everything was as I wanted it. My only note is that we did have some problems reaching the office when needed prior to the wedding. I had a question two months or so before the wedding and I was calling and leaving messages every day for a week with no response, and there were two other minor miscommunications during the period between which I hired them and the wedding. It got pretty frustrating. But, that’s no reflection on Jimmy and Sal themselves who were awesome. I would definitely recommend.

Everything was amazing! I got compliments from everybody about the music! The DJ and MC work great and very attentive. The MC kept everybody moving and was very entertaining. I can’t begin to say how much we loved our MC Charlie who sang while we ate . He kept our celebration moving nicely and we enjoyed every minute. Our photograph Dan wasn’t pushy and was always there when we need him. He went around Independently and I saw him get some great shots. Charlie and Dan worked great together. In the middle of our event I saw a lap top next to the DJ stand with some of the pictures already taken and loved them . I will Definitely will use them if I ever have another event . Can’t wait to get my disc and share them with all.

In The Mood DJ are FANTASTIC! Since the beginning Rachel was so responsive. Professional yet fun to deal with. Sal the MC was so great and his suit at our wedding was sharp! We absolutely loved working with Rob and the In The Mood DJ team for our wedding this November! Rob was the life of the party and got everyone up and dancing for the entire night. The percussionist, Dr. Percussionist, was absolutely amazing and entertaining and we are so happy that we chose to add him on for the night. Family and friends are still coming up to me saying how much fun our wedding was and that we had the best DJ ever. We had an amazing time at our wedding and a large part of it was thanks to the amazing In The Mood team.

Look no further! Hands down the best DJ choice you can make for the big day!. Rob was great from day one, made everything so easy. In The Mood and, in particular, D.J. Rob, were amazing! They made my wedding date more complete then I could have imagined. Not only did they do a fantastic job and get everyone up dancing and having fun, but they did so much more! DJ Rob did the music for our ceremony and did a great job when we weren't sure what we wanted. He sat with us and helped us out. We used their videographer service, and our DVD came out great! We also used their Photobooth service, and included in that we got a custom made backdrop of Cinderellas Castle from the Magic Kingdom in Florida, AND we got to keep that backdrop! Last but not least, D.J. Rob dod a gender reveal for us at our wedding! We surprised our friends and families with the news that we were expecting at the wedding as well, which DJ Rob came up with as an idea in the first place, but then he went even more above and beyond and designed a personalized gender reveal for us. I will never use another DJ company other than In The Mood again. Thank you Rob and In The Mood for your professionalism, your creativity, your heart, your talent, and your love of the job. Everyone in New York should use them for any occasion!

This is the second time we had In The Mood DJ!! Nothing but professional. Had everyone up dancing and partying. Even my 80 year old mother who danced the night away with her walker!. I am forever grateful we found this company as our DJ for our wedding on 10/1/17. DJ and emcee Rob were absolutely fantastic- SOO entertaining the entire night and really got the crowd going and added so much more fun to the night. I got so many compliments about how awesome the entertainment was. The night is so memorable even more so b/c this company was apart of it, as they are absolute naturals at entertaining and pumping up a crowd. They followed and respected everything my husband and I wanted and everything came out even better than I imagined. We even purchased photo booth and videography services through them since they were more affordable options compared to others and we had a great time with that as well. They have a lot of cool bonus features to add to your package-whatever fits your style & it all really enhances the entertainment. I truly loved the way everything turned out and I owe so much of it to this company! I would hire them again for another event in a heartbeat! Highly recommend! The best decision we made for our wedding day was In The Mood and DJ Rob! He ran the entire day from start to finish and kept our entire crowd both entertained and engaged. He was so helpful during the planning process as well. Any questions we had were promptly answered and his recommendations were always spot on. You know you have hired the perfect DJ when 4 of your guest ask you if you picked out every song for the DJ to play at your reception!!! From the first phone call to get information Rob put me at ease. When we met with him he answered all our questions and asked lots of questions of us. It was obvious he actually cared about what would make us happy. he even steered us away from some poor choices we were making.... LOL After our first meeting we still had to meet with two other DJs but as we walked out the door my husband said "He is our guy. Cancel the other meetings and lets book him tomorrow". Not only would I book Rob for another event I would also go out and have a beer with him!! GREAT GUY!!!!!

Rob and Kaz (not sure of spelling) worked our wedding last night and couldn't have ben more wonderful! They got every person up our of their chairs and onto the dance floor! WOW! These guys are truly the best.Rob has done all my husband's family parties for years, but seriously took our wedding to another level. Rob and dj Rusty truly did an amazing job at Flowerfields on June 3rd. I told Rob I didn't want anyone sitting sitting our wedding and he absolutely delivered. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding In The Mood is the best pick! Our wedding was on June 10th and Rob made it a great party. He played a great mix of music and kept everyone up and dancing. Wow! We got married yesterday, and the music was so on point! We had 150 guests up and dancing. Rob and Rusty were beyond amazing! They had the crowd moving and entertained! AMAZING!! My husband and I used In the Mood for uplighting at our venue. Rob was a pleasure to work with and made sure the room looked amazing the day of our wedding! The uplighting completely changed the room and really made the difference! Rob gave us a ton of options when it came to lighting and we really trusted his opinion. He did an amazing job and we can't thank him and his team enough!! We highly recommend them!

Well I met Rob at a Christening and watching him play music and handling about 20-30 kids by himself was quite impressive. Our best man's wife suggested we go talk/look at them since she just was a part of her best friends wedding who had them. She brought me over to her friend and made me talk to her about In the Mood. We got nothing but positive reviews and told me that our wedding would be one big party with no one sitting down.
I decided to get his number and ask some preliminary questions and set up a meeting. I researched them and even researched some videos on them to see what they were about. Coming from an area that is known and have great DJ's - I was impressed with what I saw. We walked in to our meeting, which Rob was more then accommodating in timing due to my then fiance's work schedule. He showed us a video, was friendly, and funny. Dan (now husband) and Rob hit it off quick. He showed us packages, explained his style and asked me questions in what I wanted.
Sitting there at the meeting after him working out a really great deal for us, including a photobooth option .... I was sold. We signed with him and took his word that we would have one of the best weddings and would be the most fun. Well
Rob, your promise held true and definitely exceeded our expectations.
From the DJ setup with all the lights, Photobooth with our custom made backdrop, all the props, the light up foams with our names with our percussionist probably being one of the best entertainers I have ever seen, to your amazing MC skills and one the best DJs...the night was magical and just as you said a huge party. You truly got everyone out of their seats, not 1 person was sitting, our dance floor was so packed that people had to dance on the side on the carpet or by the tables. I look at pictures and can't believe my eyes on how crazy it was. Thank you for making it amazing and people continue to talk about it!

I couldn't have asked for a better DJ company! I booked them for my wedding and it was the best decision I made. Robbie was the MC and was perfect, I didn't have a "day of coordinator" and he had everything timed out perfectly keeping me stress free and calm through out the night. Not only did he play all the songs I wanted to hear but also played songs I forgot I loved. He had all these special MC tricks to have the dance floor packed all night, it truly was the best night of my life and I think In the mood productions had alot to do with it. I'm not one to write reviews but I think everyone should use them, they were fantastic!

The minute we met Rob (our MC) at our venue during a bridal expo, we knew we wanted to talk more to him. During our first meeting, he had the energy and passion we were looking for. Turns out it was the best decision we could've made! He had everyone up and dancing the whole night! Rob and Russ were the best combo. We truly couldn't be any happier with choosing them. We booked our videographer with them as well. John was the best videographer and he came bright and early and stayed all the way until the end. Our experience with in the mood with more than we could've asked for. Rob, Russ and John, thank you so much for making our day that much more memorable. We love you guys!!

We chose In the Mood DJ for our wedding and it was the best decision. First off we met with Rob (our MC) when booking and plan and simple he is the man. I pretty much booked with them because I knew he would be the MC and handing the details. We ended up getting the music, photobooth, Photographer and Videographer from In The Mood and each one was awesome. Rob is a great MC knows how to gage a crowd and get everyone up on the dance floor. Besides all being great people, their price point was right on budget, if we would have went to 3 different vendors we would have blown our budget. Rob not only great on the mic but even a better guy. Answered every question we had and basically said "We'll make it happen". Its in the details whether its a customized Photobooth backdrop that you get to keep, or personally designed light logo for the dance floor they absolutely killed it. If you dont at least go visit them you are doing yourself a disservice. I would give 10 stars if I could.

We all know there are two things that make for a great wedding: the food and the music. My husband and I really wanted to hire a DJ who is energetic and plays a variety of music to accommodate all ages. Rob exceeded all of our expectations! I just had my wedding this past weekend and we hired In The Mood DJ Productions. From the very minute we met with Rob, we knew he was the perfect DJ for us. Rob, the MC, and Angelo, the DJ, were absolutely incredible. There wasn't a single person sitting the entire night and I can't say enough about these guys. They're extremely professional, went our of their way to make our night special, and EVERYONE has been telling us how amazing these guys were. We gave them a very high level guideline as to just play current songs in the top 40 and their selection of choice was remarkable. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for an amazing DJ for any event. My advice for anyone looking to book is a DJ is to look no further than these guys and let them do what they do best and run the show. This is the cream of the crop when it comes to DJ's and putting on a party that will never be forgotten.

In the Mood did our wedding 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic!!! The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE time!!! The dj played great music that kept people going and Rob was awesome at keeping people out on the floor and in party mode! We also had the drummer and sax player which we are so extremely happy with. They really kept the party going and added that extra spark to our wedding. If you can, definitely splurge and get that combo added into your package, it is so worth it!!!! I highly recommend In the Mood DJs. They are affordable and reliable. Rob was our MC and he did a wonderful job getting everyone on the dance floor (friends and older family members). He played a variety of music but most importantly, all songs that my husband and I enjoy. We also had a large song request list and he was able to play all of the songs except one. If you're getting married at Insignia (down the street from In the Mood), you must go with these guys. They know the place well and understand the flow of the day with dinner stations and the layout of the rooms. Thank you In The Mood!

Rob is the best DJ out there! He really understands how to get the party started and keeps that momentum going forward! He listens to his clients and delivers what they want. You know it was a good party when you still have your guests telling you how amazing and fun your party was!

Also the percussionist, recommnded by Rob, was extremely talented and entertaining with all his outfits! It was a perfect addition to the music!

Our DJ (Rob) was fantastic. He filled the evening nicely with songs that matched our tastes, based on a sample of songs we selected. The music selections and volume levels were perfect for each part of the evening - processional, recessional, cocktail hour, dinner and after dinner dancing. He kept it lively and I've never seen a higher percentage of guests take part in dancing. We were both very happy with the music as were our guests. Vinny provided everything we asked for and more. We weren't looking for a typical DJ-run party with a choreographed itinerary and typical song list and the same old cheesy MC/DJ announcements to "get this party started!". Most importantly, we wanted him to read the crowd, and keep them dancing. Vinny not only accommodated our pain-in-the-a$$ requests, he went above and beyond. He dealt with a leaky tent, a "fluid" format to the wedding, and tons of last minute tasks. He was there every step of the way, coming through like Jeter in the clutch. Never once did he kill the vibe on the dance floor. Needless to say, most of our guests were drenched with sweat and smiles from dancing the night away. Finally, he accommodated me and helped me rig a mic so I could sing my bride a song. He made it work beautifully in the fly. He was soaked with sweat at the end and grinning ear to ear. I cannot overstate how crucial Vinny was to the success of our wedding bash. WE recommend him without any reservations and plan on requesting him personally for any of our future big events. We hired In the Mood to be our DJ and they provided us with their Photo Booth service as well for our wedding at Stonebridge Country Club on 9/27/15. Rob and Angelo did a fantastic job getting the guests up and dancing, while providing a fun atmosphere. For my wedding, In the Mood did a wonderful job! The music was great and Fernando the DJ did a great job of feeling out what the guests wanted to hear. At one point our live music for the cocktail hour almost didn't show up and Fernando was getting ready to play during the cocktail hour to make up for it, without even being asked to! We also got a photobooth through them and it was awesome! Several people complimented the attendant and said he did a good job of encouraging people to sign the guestbook. Thank you guys!!!!

Rob was AMAZING!!! He kept the energy up all night. He communicated with us throughout the evening, but never bothered us. It meant so much to me that our happiness clearly meant so much to him.
Angelo was absolutely incredible. We provided a list of 20 or so must play songs, and In The Mood completely tailored a playlist for us. Most of my guests spent the entire night on the dance floor!
My guests LOVED the photo booth, it really added to the festivities :)
In The Mood put together a photo montage of my husband and I growing up - this was probably one of the most memorable moments of the whole night, and it was so beautifully done that it literally brought tears to my eyes.
Countless guests have commented on what a phenomenal job In The Mood did - the right DJ is so important for such a big day and I can absolutely say that if I had it to do over again I would hire them again in a second.

IN THE MOOD DJ was truly fantastic for our Wedding on 12-21-14.
I cannot say enough about Rob DePaolo, our DJ.
He is a brilliant DJ who cares and is passionate about what he does.
Rob was able to get our guests on their feet and having the best time we
could have hoped for. From Frank Sinatra to Calvin Harris - he managed to play it all.

In the Mood : I was SO impressed with the professionalism of both my MC Rob and DJ Angelo. In the mood provided ceremony and reception music for our wedding. I am not a huge fan of tradition at all and I had no idea what songs to use for the ceremony. I left The ceremony music up to them, Thats how much we trusted them. It Ended up being absolutely perfect and couldn't be any happier. We all know the DJ is the most important vendor to choose as they are your party. We are a very shy couple and we mentioned that up front and they did an amazing job making sure the pressure wasn't on us. They did a great job of getting our guests out of their seats and EVERYONE complimented us on them. After my wedding, my sister even went and booked them for her wedding for 2016. Rob and Angelo make an amazing team and were so friendly. On top of it all They are so reasonably priced! I will absolutely be hiring those 2 for another party in the near future!

We booked In the Mood DJ Productions for our wedding on 5/9/15. From the moment we met Rob DePalo we knew he was the guy we wanted to work with. He made the entire process easy and we felt very confident that he was going to to be great on our big day - and he was! He kept everyone up and dancing and listened closely to our music selections. He played exactly what we wanted, and honored my request to not play certain songs I did not like. I also booked my photography and Photo Booth through Rob. The custom banner they created for the open air Photo Booth was perfect and everyone loved it! The photographer did an amazing job on the photos and I couldn't be more happy. The wedding was exactly how I pictured and could not have gone the way it did if I didn't have In The Mood. I want to give a BIG THANKS to Rob and In The Mood DJ Productions for making our day as perfect as it was. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Rob and DJ Angelo did a phenomenal job with our wedding last weekend. Our dancefloor was packed from beginning to end! Great communication and really brought the life out with our party. A lot of people asked for the name of the company because of the way they had everyone dancing all night and kept everything moving smoothly. Their professionalism blew me away! I will definitely be using their services for any future parties that I may have and will recommend them to whomever I know that needs a great DJ.

After going to numerous appointments with DJ Production companies in Suffolk County, I never got the feeling that I was welcomed and that there was no better. That is, until I walked into Rob's office. Rob, who was my MC, listened to all of my weird requests, dealt with my stubborness, and made suggestions to my husband and I on how to compromise on music, as my husband and I have very different tastes. He was extremely generous, honest, helpful, and professional, while also making us feel like we were welcomed. Now that our party is over, I can honestly say that there is NO better than In the Mood. Rob and Angelo truly made our night spectacular. In the Mood is the only DJ Production company we will every recommend. If your choice is not In the Mood, it's the wrong choice!

I had my son Aidan's Christening on March 21, 2015 at Crest Hollow Country Club and could not have been happier with DJ/MC Rob at In the Mood DJ. I had 70 adults and 30 kids and Rob did an excellent job at entertaining everyone! The music was amazing and Rob played all my music requests including "Let it Go" from Frozen requested by the kids! Rob managed to keep 30 kids happy and on the dance floor the entire party and well as the adults. Rob played games incorporating music including musical chairs which the kids went crazy for! I was 100% satisfied with Rob at In the Mood DJ and would highly recommend to anyone in search of an awesome DJ/MC! Thanks Rob for a fantastic party! A party is as good as the music!!

Let me start off by saying that In the Mood DJ Productions was our first and ONLY** stop when looking for music. Rob met with us and within the first 5 minutes of the meeting we were hooked. Rob made me feel comfortable in making this big decision for our wedding and booking In the Mood for our music selection- and let's face it, the music is what will MAKE or break your party. Rob went far beyond expectations and made this the best celebration of love, happiness and FUN of my life!!! In the Mood was extremely reliable, extremely accommodating and did everything and anything I asked for! Rob's energy during that first meeting was exactly what I (and anyone should) was looking for in my MC, someone to get the crowd excited! I gave them my short list of "Do's and Don'ts" and they took it from there playing a wide range of everything to get the crowd up and on the dance floor from start to finish.

on 1/23/2015 My wonderful new Bride and myself were married at the watermill. I love Country Music, but my guests..... not so much. We started the search for a DJ on multiple sites, and through the venue and found this vendor with some great reviews, and multiple recommendation's.

We went to meet with In the Mood, and we were met by a gentleman. Not a sales guy, not some dude dressed up weird telling you that he's got all the "new stuff", but a guy that was genuinely looking to help us enjoy our special day. Rob sat with us a few times leading up to the weeding to make sure everything was perfect.

On January 23rd, Rob(emcee), Tom(DJ), and Rick(Zap Photo) made our guests dance! My Grandmother was even up on her feet! They played everything from Billy Joel, to Garth Brooks, to Hip Hop... on top of that they were taking requests and smiling the whole time. We could not have asked for more!

In closing, I would just like to say Rob, Tom, and Rick(especially Rob) thank you for making the house rock, and for aiding us in our special day!

My fiancé and I have been to dozens of weddings, not once did I appreciate an mc like I did with MC Rob! That guy knows what he is doing. Very personable and will perform to your expectations. Rob had our wedding of 220 guests on the dance floor. People were texting and calling me the following weekend complimenting on In the Mood! The zap photos were awesome along with the Dj, everything was perfect! The only complaint our guests has were that they have never been that sore before! I wish I had another event coming up to have MC Rob there! Make the call and Book these guys!

There is nothing more to say besides OUR DJ WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

We live in NJ and had to find a DJ company in Long Island, NY so Wedding Wire was our go to!!!

Rob was our MC and honestly he was amazing. We met with him a bunch of times, he was super helpful, listened to all of our requests and followed through.
He said he'd make sure our night was amazing...and that's exactly what it was!
We told him we wanted a party and they delivered.

In the Mood DJ was the absolute best choice for our wedding. We went to another wedding they did in July which solidified our belief that we made the right choice, my fiancé (now husband) who never dances, danced the entire night at that wedding! Rob our MC was fantastic and full of suggestions and advice when we had our final meeting with him two weeks before the wedding to pick songs for cutting the cake, entrance, etc. He had everything we asked for and even made my husband a CD of 80's music because he knew how much he liked it. The DJ, Zap shot photographer and the Photo Booth tech were all extremely professional and introduced themselves and said goodbye at the end of the night. We had 375 guest and about 340 of them could be found on the dance floor the whole night. My calves are STILL sore from dancing the entire evening! Music can make or break your wedding, and booking with In the Mood will most definitely make your wedding amazing for you and your guests!

Rob of In the Mood DJ provided the DJ services for our reception. When we first met with him, he listened to our needs for keeping the party going. We did not want any downtime or lulls in the energy. He kept the dance floor full at all times. We are still getting calls and emails from our guests that our party was so much fun. We thank you Rob for making our reception one we will not soon forget.

In the mood was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! They were very attentive and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. Our MC Rob was very personable and easy and most of all FUN to work with every step of the way. He understand exactly what my new husband and I wanted and made everything perfect. AMAZING work!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better team to do my wedding. Everyone raved about the music, the steal drummer at cocktail hour, and the photo booth!!! Rob as the MC and DJ Research were an amazing team!!! After dinner, the whole place was dancing!!! The videographer was also amazing, he made sure to get everything piece of the wedding video-ed. Even the guy doing the zap-shots was great!!! Loved seeing them on the screen. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!!

We interviewed quite a few DJ/Production companies and none compared to In The Mood. They set the gold standard in personality and cost. We met with Rob DePalo and "fell in love" with him....we wanted him to be our emcee for our wedding and no one else!! He was amazing as was DJ Angelo aka DJ Research!! The music was great and Rob kept the party going the entire time......we were so happy and felt so confident that everyone was having an awesome time!! We would recommend In The Mood to anyone...they are the BEST!!

Rob, his crew and Hal , the videographer - were Extra accommodating for our wedding ! They were punctual , organized , friendly , played great music and provided a real party atmosphere for our family and friends - Rob has a great sense of humor also ! I'd recommend this company to anyone for a wedding ! Thanks for an amazing wedding atmosphere guys ! :0)
