can see why Santiago came highly recommended to do our daughter’s wedding reception. He was friendly, approachable and loving. The mixture of music was a big hit for everyone involved. We laughed, danced and just had plain fun until the reception ended. Thank you, Santiago for everything. -

Santiago Dj our wedding & let me tell you 5 stars is not enough!!! He kept the crowd going, dancing and having the best time. He has a gift of knowing just what it takes to keep the party going! He followed through with every request that we made and added in the shoe game which was so 🔥. Everyone is still talking about that night!! If you are thinking whether or not you should book DONT THINK JUST BOOK!!! You will not be disappointed I promise. -

A night to remember!
If I could give in the mix DJs and our DJ Alfredo 6 stars 🌟 I would! The initial booking process and very reasonable price appealed, and their reputation around the Charlotte metro area. But we couldn’t have anticipated just how good it would be. From the top notch deck, sound system, up lights, smoke machine but most important the energy Alfredo brought was amazing!
More than that, we hit planning hurdles in our 1970s murder mystery disco fundraiser and through great communication Alfredo was able to give great advice, he brought extra lights and mini turn table disco ball and even coordinated with our staff’s run of show and 3rd party actors to stage the perfect “murder sound track” at the right moment.
When I say Alfredo made it a night to remember that is no exaggeration. We had over 200 attendees and our phones blew up afterwards - attendees all were abuzz with the best party they’d had in decades and many people were gutted they couldn’t come - all asking, what are we doing next year! So, thank you in the mix DJs and Alfredo for bringing the authentic groove and party vibes that made our night a success! -

DJ Alfredo made our event come to life!
Alfredo was the DJ for our Museum's annual murder mystery fundraiser. This year the theme was Murder at the Disco and he made the event extraordinary! He had done all the research on the right songs, had worked with the actors on the nuanced details to make the death scene absolutely perfect, helped us with our lighting. We truly couldn't say enough good things about the experience of working with him before and during the event. 100% will be using him for future events! -

Richland provided DJ and MC services for our wedding recently and he was great! His pricing is competitive and he gets the crowd going. He showed up on time, was prepared and ready to go when needed and he followed the timeline and list of songs we had discussed. We gave him an idea of the music we wanted for the reception and the vibe we wanted and he was able to create the atmosphere and dance party we wanted for our reception. Everyone was dancing like we were celebrating in college LOL. No hiccups in the music (playing the wrong song, cutting something short etc.), literally everything went perfect on the entertainment side. We couldn't have been more happy with the services! -

My wife and I booked with In The Mix DJs through our wedding venue(Loray Mill, Gastonia, NC) in which DJ services was included in our package. With that, it gave us the peace of mind knowing that we did not have to search high and low for a DJ. Once my wife and I reached out to In The Mix DJs-they literally took over from there!! I immediately received an email with a spreadsheet to fill out. I loved how organized it was and how extremely self-explanatory this spreadsheet was. Just imagine a spreadsheet outlying everything from A-Z on how you wanted your music to flow from the beginning(ceremony) to the end(reception/party/turn up) on your special day. The communication was every bit of the word “Excellent”! Whenever I had any questions, my calls/emails were answered in a timely manner. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I have booked my share of DJs over my adult years.
And then the day arrives! ITS MY WEDDING DAY!!! I had a lot going on that morning and to make a long story short, like many grooms before me, I WAS RUNNING LATE!! By the time I arrived I never had time to go around and meet all of the vendors prior to the ceremony. But because of the superior quality of service I received the weeks prior, I knew without shadow of doubt that I needed to worry about anything. That’s the type of service you get with In The Mix DJs when you book with them. I challenge you to experience that feeling. Take it from me….your search ends here!
Rich- Thank you for all that you do to ensure that good quality service still exists. Adamma and I truly had a great time with the staff of In The Mix DJs. They even made their way to the dance floor and got their two-step on!! It was truly a celebration 🥂

I am extremely happy with the service Richard provided for our wedding. We got exactly what we wanted and communication was so easy. They arrived earlier then expected. They are very professional and absolutely love the way they spoke and handle all the guests. We had half religious people and half party people, my concern was that maybe everything be so what awkward and there was going to be an actual party BUT NOP Richard and his crew in a very good way were able to get everyone on the dance floor and enjoy the party. I cant thank enough how much i appreciate the work they did and i absolutely loved it. DJ enjoys the time with us too. I highly recommend them you will not be disappointed at all. They are so humble, friendly and overall reasonable on their prices. -

I cannot say enough about InTheMix DJs!!! They adjusted with us through the pandemic and always reassured us through the changes. It was all in the details. Lighting, sound, everything was perfect. The ceremony was beautifully done and the reception was managed impeccably. We had so much fun we weren’t ready for the night to end. Thank you Richard!!! -

I used their services for my wedding and the professionalism displayed was incredible. From their equipment, wardrobe, music and manners.
The Santiago's took control of the event from start to end. Guests enjoyed every minute of it. Enthusiasm was contagious. We danced to the last song. Would personally recommend them in a heartbeat. Can't thank them enough for the memories they helped create. -

Where do I even begin? These guys were a hit with our guests on our wedding day! The music was amazing. The energy was fantastic. And they were so helpful with coordinating both the ceremony and the reception. They kept the party alive during moments there was a lull in dancing. Anything our folks requested they had and if they didn't they were quick to find it. My husband and I were happy. Our guests were happy. In The Mix DJ's helped make our special day perfect. I feel like we didn't just gain a DJ but a friend as well! I would highly recommend them to anyone. And should I need a DJ for another function in the future, these guys will be the first I will call! -

DJ Richwood assisted me with the logistics for my reception venue and even did the audio at my wedding. He was flexible and patient with me regarding my music play lists. We had the time of our lives. I will definitely hire again.

Totally embarrassing
Hired this dj based on a conversation with Richard. This was a multicultural quince and he expressed his partner was Trinidadian and was very familiar with the genres of music we requested.and they were from Miami. At one point we were messaging and he was texting me as if I were his partner saying “yeah charge them whatever”. That should have been my exit cue. Skip forward to the event, the mc was horrible!!!! The dj completely effed up the entrance songs for the couples, there was no music for our entrance and the mc continued to walk and talk in front of the couples entering. There were key formalities she messed up, explaining my daughter’s last doll wasn’t that it was her first toy. My kid was embarrassed. Then we had a few surprises and welp she announced all of them. She also said the cake was fake. Like wtf?!? It’s a faux cake but why would you announce it to the entire audience! As if it couldn’t be worse, they music was not what we expected. I was told if we wanted specific songs I would have needed to request them previously. At that point I could just dj my own party, I have never had to provide a playlist. I would never recommend this dj to anyone -
