My husband and I got married at St. Joseph's Church and could not recommend it enough! Fr. Larry made everyone feel welcome and we received so many compliments from our guests on the service. The church is beautiful and great for pictures. The staff was also super helpful throughout the planning process.

My husband and I recently got married at St.Joseph and it exceeded our expectations! Jutta is an absolute joy to work with and is super organized. Father Larry is also an absolute joy and made our ceremony so personal which made it that much more special! All of our guests loved our ceremony and St.Joseph! I am so glad that we chose to have our wedding at St. Joseph's. It is clear that the Church cares about its parishioners or churchgoers and wants them to feel like they are a part of a welcoming community. But as a couple getting married, they really went above and beyond. The wedding coordinator, Jutta, is one of a kind. She made the entire process SO EASY. She kept us on track with all of the moving parts that go into a Catholic wedding and did it in a way that was kind & positive. I would highly recommend St. Joseph's.

We hosted our wedding at ICSJ and cannot thank their team enough for the guidance, support, encouragement, and advice provided throughout engagement and marriage. In addition to all the great people we met at ICSJ, the church is beautiful.

ICSJ has a dedicated support team to weddings and they are absolutely phenomenal. Allie and the wedding team proactively reached out at regular intervals and provided us checklists and deadlines. Their team is almost like a full wedding planner and coordinator for everything related to your ceremony. Allie and her team have so much experience, they are able to guide and encourage you on all the minor details that may be important to you on your big day. We worke Fr. Frank, who presided over our wedding, and he included a very memorable and personal homily that we’ll cherish the rest of our lives.

Planning through the Covid changing circumstances was difficult and we are so blessed that we worked with ICSJ. They found creative ways to help our guests remain safe (by distancing one every other pew) and keep the ceremony as routine as possible.

ICSJ was extremely accommodating, Allie was very accessible throughout the entire process, and we are so grateful for ICSJ support. If you would like to partner with a group that eases the planning process for you and encourages you along the way, I 100% recommend this church and team!

We looked at many churches for our wedding day, and St. Joseph exceeded expectations. First off, the wedding coordinator, Jutta, is very kind and extremely responsive. She will keep you organized and make sure you have everything planned for the big day. Our music coordinator, Joan, was also fantastic and helpful when planning our music program. And, WOW, we loved Father Larry. He made our ceremony feel so personal - many of our guests commented on how much they loved our ceremony. Another benefit of the church is that they do not have a preset list of vendors or other restrictions, which was not the case at other churches. We highly recommend this beautiful, historic church for your wedding day!

I have been a member of Immaculate Conception St. Joseph Parish for four years now. After getting engaged, I knew I wanted my wedding to be at St. Joseph with Fr. Larry performing the ceremony because I have really enjoyed attending Masses and other events at the Parish. The entire process and wedding day was wonderful. Allie, the wedding coordinator, did a fantastic job of organizing everything for us and keeping us well informed of each step we needed to take to prepare for our wedding. When we had a change of plans due to the Covid situation, Fr. Larry and the parish graciously offered to still perform a full ceremony for us on our original wedding day. We are so glad we went this route because the wedding was even more wonderful than we could have imagined. Allie provided plenty of information ahead of time so we felt prepared, and Fr. Larry guided us through the entire ceremony. He engaged our family who attended and made it such a memorable day for us. In addition, Kate, the music director, played the piano and sang beautifully, making the ceremony even more special. She was also very helpful and organized in choosing our music for our wedding day. There were several volunteers who assisted us the day of our wedding. They guided us through the day and answered all of our questions, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Finally, St. Joseph church is incredibly beautiful, and we know we will have beautiful photos of our day. I highly recommend having your wedding at St. Joseph!

ICSJ is not only one of the most beautiful churches in the Chicagoland area, but the team there made wedding planning an absolute breeze. They were so flexible and understanding during COVID and having to change our date around, and they really tried to personalize our experience. We loved working with Father Larry and he made our ceremony so special and memorable. I can't recommend them enough!

We recently were married by Father Larry at St. Joseph Church in November, and we cannot imagine having our important day anywhere else! ICSJ and our ceremony was so personal, warm, and welcoming. We did a ceremony (not full mass) and we didn't do a rehearsal the night before because it was a really small wedding and we didn't want people to gather more than necessary. Fr. Larry reached out the day before to let us know that everything would be great and to just follow his lead. The day of, he made sure the wedding went off without a hitch. The ceremony felt very personal. It was great. We highly recommend.

"What a beautiful ceremony" was one of the most said things to us during our wedding's cocktail hour and of course, we agree. We loved receiving the sacrament at ICSJ. The church is lovely and the just-refurbished organ was a nice touch. Our wedding mass was a traditional Catholic service said by a priest who likes to mix things up. Father Larry is an amazing pastor who keeps the crowd engaged by tossing jokes into his homily along with a heartfelt message. We enjoyed going to regular Sunday mass with him before our Wedding and continue to go now. Allie, the ICSJ wedding coordinator is very organized and attentive to email. While there were more decisions than we expected for a traditional mass, we are very happy we went with St. Joseph Catholic Church. Their service even comes with wedding volunteers who help run your rehearsal the night before. They also make sure everything runs smoothly the day of your wedding (getting bridesmaids and groomsmen in their proper places, etc.).

Getting married at the St. Joseph Catholic Church was the easiest decision in the wedding planning process. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, Allie (church coordinator) was beyond helpful and Father Larry put us at ease at each gathering. The Church speaks for itself, absolutely stunning. Wish we could do it all over again!

If you are planning a downtown Chicago wedding, ICSJ is a fabulous choice. The church is stunning, the staff is easy to work with, and Father Larry is so wonderful. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and make the planning process so easy. Jutta, the coordinator, was very on top of everything that needed to be done and regularly reached out to us to make sure things were on track. My husband and I are not members of ICSJ parish, but they were very willing to accommodate pastors from our own churches into the ceremony had we asked for that. We would 100% recommend them!

My now husband and I chose St. Joseph Parish for our wedding in September. We are incredibly happy with our decision, from our first communication with Samantha, to our meeting with Father Larry and the wedding day, everything went smoothly. St. Joseph was willing to help us customize our ceremony to what felt best to us as a couple. We also had a family priest that we wanted to marry us, they were very open to us bringing him in and working with us to make sure he had all the information we needed. The church is absolutely beautiful, we did not use any floral decorations as the beauty of the church was the so great. St. Joseph's Parish is extremely professional, organized, and filled with integrity. Our wedding ceremony went off without a hitch! I was most impressed by how well put together they are from the start of planning to the very end of mailing of certificates and documents. Samantha and her team are a true blessing for any bride!

St Joseph Church is not only stunning and historic, it is run my an amazing group of people. Our wedding planning process was amazing thanks to Samantha and Fr Larry! We had the most exceptional experience at Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph Parish. Fr. Larry is the best. Truly. Calming, funny and most important, a good spiritual leader as you begin your marriage. Samantha is so responsive and accommodating. She made everything seamless and fun! Kate, the Director of Music, is incredible. We had the church choir perform at our wedding and guests are still talking about it (no doubt they will be very famous one day!). We plan on making this our parish for life and the school where we will send our children. It's the most special place in the world!

My fiancé and I moved to Chicago in December and started looking for a catholic church that we would like to get married in. Every Sunday we went to a different church around the downtown area until we finally found what we were looking for...a beautiful church, with a community feel, and amazing priests/sermons. St.Joseph's is definitely a hidden gem!!

Beautiful! - The outside of this church is very deceiving because of it's modern look. Once you walk through the front doors you will be in awe. Inside a huge beautiful cathedral. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Great Priest --- Fr. Larry is amazing! He is very personable, remembers everyone by name, and most importantly delivers great sermons. We take something away from every mass we attend.

Amazing Music --- The music is awesome. It's not traditional, boring church music. It's very modern, with a great rhythm and beat.

Community Feel --- Fr. Larry is a big reason this church has a sense of community. Once he found out we were new to the area and church, he immediately introduce us to other parishioners and gave us a warm welcome. There are coffee and donuts after the 11 am mass in the gathering area, which allows you to get to know other parishioners.

Historic ---- St. Joseph's happens to be one of the oldest churches in Chicago. In the 70's, the front of the church collapsed and was reconstructed with a more modern look, which makes it very deceiving when you drive past it. Once inside, you'll see a beautiful cathedral with such great detail.

Free Parking & Easily Accessible ---- Do I have to say more? This is not something that's easy to find in Chicago. St.Joseph's has it own school and parking lot across the street that is free for parishioners on Sundays.

We absolutely love it here, and you will too! We can't wait to get married at St.Joseph's next Spring. If your looking for a great Catholic church to get married in, trust me...this is it
