Xiomara from Imago Dei Photography truly made our wedding day unforgettable. From the moment we met her, her energy and professionalism shone through, making us feel at ease throughout the entire process. She expertly guided us, capturing the most beautiful moments effortlessly. What stood out the most was her invaluable expertise with Oregon's coastal scenery, which added a special touch to our photos since we were from out of town.
Not only did Xiomara make us, our wedding party, and guests feel special, but she also ensured everyone had a fantastic time from the wedding party photos to family photos to the reception . Her seamless communication and attention to detail were top-notch, making the whole experience joyful and fun.

Absolutely Amazing
There’s not enough words to express how thankful we were to have Xiomara document our wedding day. She made everything run so smoothly with the timeline that she made for us after telling her our wishes. The day was such a wonderful day and she made my entire wedding party and us feel so at ease. Not to mention that our photos are just complete gems! I cannot wait to fill every inch of our house with them and remember this amazing day. -

We chose Imago Dei Photography to photograph our wedding and WOW did Xiomara deliver with some captivating photos! Xiomara genuinely loves seeing the joy and happiness in her clients. The passion behind her work is evident in the way she beautifully captures all moments. She's only one woman but you'd think she secretly brought a whole team of photographers the way she doesn't let a single important moment slip by unphotographed! We especially loved the talent Xiomara has for using any surrounding landscape, turning the wedding photos into stunning pieces of art. No repetitive, stiff, or boring pics in sight. We ended up ordering some professional prints and leather-bound photo albums for ourselves and as gifts to our parents through Imago Dei Photography as well - everything turned out very high quality with tons of customizable options. Xiomara is a photographer that's highly skilled and creative, professional, organized, and genuinely fun to work with. She's given us photos to cherish for a lifetime! -

Amazing Experience
Xiomara was amazing throughout the entire planning process and day of the wedding. We are so happy with our decision to work with her. She was very professional and was always prepared every time we met. All of our photos turned out so beautifully and she captured all of our special moments without even realizing they were being photographed. As someone who isn't the most comfortable being the center of attention and unsure of what to do in front of the camera, she helped me feel at ease being photographed. She coached us to make sure we got the most natural and romantic photos. I would highly recommend her and would work with her again! -

Imago Dei Photography is professional, intuitive, and imaginative with her wedding photography. We asked for a few special photos, then she took the reign and arranged beautiful backgrounds and meaningful poses and unposed photos that turned out way beyond anything we could have dreamed or imagined. We highly recommend her for your special occasion. -

Xiomara was phenomenal - she was beyond accommodating of us running a bit late, being unfamiliar with the area, and our two little dogs. I look at our pictures at least once a week - they’re just that good!!! -

Amazing! We had a blast taking our wedding photos with Xiomara and we are so in love with our photos.
Xiomara is absolutely amazing at what she does. The beauty she creates and captures is pure magic. We were thankful to have been referred to her to photograph our Wedding in September 2018. Our photos turned out simply stunning, all of our friends and family agreed it would be so difficult to choose which pictures to display in our house as they all turned out to be so gorgeous. Not only is she extremely talented but also very professional and fun loving. She emphasized capturing real time, real life moments, no stoic awkward overly posed pictures which we very much appreciated!! As we recently reflected on our 1 year anniversary and look back on pictures from this amazing day, we felt sincerely blessed to have found Imago Dei Photography! WOW I don’t even know where to begin. Xiomara is simply AMAZING. She really is more than a photographer. From the beginning through to the end she offered endless supper, advice, and guidance. My husband and I decided to do a destination wedding so it made things a little more difficult when it came to planning. Anytime I had a question she was so quick to reply and help out in any way that she could. On the day itself it was like having a friend there with you. She made us feel so comfortable and made the day go so smooth. I’m seriously so happy with outcome, my photos are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I feel blessed that she was there to capture the BEST DAY of my life. I highly recommend Xiomara. She’s incredibly talented and she won’t disappoint you. -

Gorgeous Photos!!
Our wedding photos turned out absolutely beautiful!! Xiomara did an amazing job capturing special and intimate moments—I know we will love looking back at these photos for many years to come. She was easy to work with—we had some last minute changes to our wedding day timeline and she was super flexible. She helped us figure out all the portrait shots we wanted ahead of time so that on our wedding day we didn’t have to worry about any of that and could just leave things up to her. Overall, I would highly recommend her as a wedding photographer!! -

Professional, comfortable and creative!
When we got engaged, Xiomara was the first vendor we booked. I was familiar with her work, and I knew I wanted to invest in her work for our wedding memories. She exceeded our expectations all along the way. We had a wonderful destination engagement session, where it tried to rain on us and she took great precautions to make our photos amazing. My husband and I were so comfortable with her and knew the way she posed us is photos would produce amazing photos. Communication through our wedding planning process was very timely and professional. Our wedding was at our family horse barn, and she got so creative incorporating the details of our barn wedding. I am so grateful for her vision in capturing all the details and emotions of our special day. -

Xiomara and team were an absolute dream! I could not recommend them enough! We felt so ready and prepared leading up to our day and were so excited to have them part of making our day! AMAZING work!
It was such a THOROUGHLY enjoyable experience, so natural and the most fun time spent! Xiomara captured the honest and real life (we could be ourselves!) so beautifully and she made us feel so incredibly comfortable! Even my man had a blast of a time!

Captured our love perfectly
Xiomara captured our wedding day perfectly. The pictures of our day are by far the most beautiful wedding photographs I have ever seen, and I’m not just saying that because they are my wedding pictures, they literally ARE the most gorgeous pictures ever. Xiomara was in constant communication with us throughout our planning process and she was so quick to respond to questions. My husband and I were a bit nervous about posing for our photographs and worried about them looking natural and not super pose-y but Xiomara made us so comfortable and made us laugh and our pictures looked so candid and perfect. Xiomara is awesome, do yourself a huge favor and book her! -

Words are not enough! Beyond happy with our choice to go with Xiomara as our wedding photographer. Fom the moment I met Xiomara she was warm and welcoming. And from the looks of our previews our photos are going to be amazing!!! She is totally worth the money and investment for your day. Even my wedding party commented on how amazing she is and how kind she is. I wish i could give her more than a five star rating! -

Low stress photographer
We chose Xiamara (Imago Dei) for our New Year's Eve small beach wedding. She worked with us to accommodate our indoor backup plan (December in Oregon), desire to record a video of the wedding, and needs to protect our privacy online. She took the time to understand what was meaningful to us at our wedding, like my great grandmother's teacup collection. We had the ceremony outdoors, and she took beautiful pictures despite the need to constantly change lenses in the rain. When a stranger stopped to take pictures she politely shooed him away, so he appeared in very few of our photos and we did not even notice the disruption. She also gave our guests directions to the wedding site, as she knows the area and where people will lose cell phone coverage.
I have always heard weddings are very stressful, but with Xiomara as a photographer it might have been even less stressful than had we had no photographer at all! She put in effort above and beyond that of taking photos to help us have a happy day. -
