Reliable, Professional, and Flexible

Miguel was amazing in helping us determine what we wanted to have as memories of our wedding. He made us feel comfortable, was punctual, always smiling and made us comfortable. He knew how to set us up for pictures depending on lighting and angles. Not to mention his pricing is very reasonable.

One Happy Bride

Miguel was hired by me & my husband to do our wedding, along with our wedding package we were able to take a engagement session as well. Upon meeting Miguel we were so happy with his professionalism, his patience, & his calming demeanor. Our pictures came out beautifully, & we absolutely loved the location he chose for us. He listened when we explained we wanted a fall vibe to our shoot. The photos were edited beautifully & we felt like we knew what we were doing as he helped pose us. Very encouraging, & made us feel great. As for the wedding he did not disappoint. He took great detail shots, solo shots, get ready shots, precious moments, ceremony, included our kids & families. I will forever cherish these photos, they mean so much. Thank you again.

I was happy with Miguel’s service. He carried himself very professional. The pictures came out beautifully. He was very patient. He calmed my nerves, I am not a very photogenic person. He is very flexible. Precise with his posing and location options. We talked about shooting at a desert location with slanted rocks and he said “we will make it work”, like “no” was not a option he really just wanted happy clients and that’s what we are.

Mr. Miguel Balan had been professional and fun person to work with.

We had hired Mr. Miguel for my brother-in-law’s reception party and photoshoot event. The photographs we received had been really appreciated by friends and family. Miguel is real professional in terms of coordination of the event’s photography. Good work and highly recommend him.

Pre pandemic wedding

My husband and I hired Miguel to photograph her wedding day. As part of the package we purchased he also did our engagement photos, which I absolutely love! Miguel and his team were professional and work with us patiently to get the pictures that we had in mind. Our wedding occurred right before the pandemic shut everything down indigo worked his magic to get us our portraits, video, and pictures ordered. I would definitely recommend.

Miguel our Wedding photography was very professional and very creative with our photos. He was also very flexible with his schedule to come out and meet us to take our engagement photos, which we were hesitant at first since we were married at an older age but he made us feel like we were in our 20’s and we loved the outcome! We hired Imagine for our daughter’s Quincañera after our first meeting with Miguel. Throughout the meeting he asked us (the parents) what we hoped to capture before and during the event and from there, his focus was on our daughter and her vision of her big day. Right away, he was like family! He went above and beyond in all aspects: during our formal portrait shoot I had to tell him, “I think we got it Miguel!” because he was shooting to capture the perfect light, shot, expression rather than counting the minutes or money; we’d still be in the park today, but every shot was worth it, making it very hard to select the venue portrait, so we chose two!
Day of: Miguel and videographer met our entire family at the chosen shot for formal family portraits professionally dressed and with smiles to greet us. There were many set-ups to include all family members but there was no hassle or confusion and everything moved along in a timely manner which was perfect for a valley-hot June day.
Event: there’s a lot going on so it wasn’t until later that I realized I’d seen Miguel but once the entire night and hoped he’d captured all of the “moments”. Two weeks later, seeing all 300+ photos of the day, he’d gotten EVERYTHING, even the nuanced moments. Again, having a hard time deciding what to select for the album...we got two!
I will definitely use Imagine Phoyography again and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My experience was a good ome with Miguel. Not only did he give us a great quality of photos in both our wedding and engagement photo books, he also made oir memories even more memorable with the addition of 2 videographers for the best price out there. The price was unbelievable. He piced out a nice Malibu beach spot for our engagement pictures as well as the Marina in Marina Del Rey close to my hometown Venice where i grew up at. He caught great backgrounds and made sure we were all in the right position from our everlasting lifetime pictures. He made sure everything was professional and perfect because you can never go back in time to do a do over, but you can always go back in time with memories from photos. Love our photos books, thanks Miguel for the memories

We chose him based on a list of options provided by the Porter Valley Country Club through our package there. We were looking for a more "artsy" style than the typical wedding photographer. After looking at his website we thought his look matches what we wanted. Miguel did both an engagement session the wedding for us. After the engagement session we recited a print of one of the photos on canvas we displayed at the ceremony. We just received our completed wedding album and it is stunning. Some people have said its even the nicest one they have ever seen. We feel we got a lot of value for our money and are very happy with the results.
