Harrison was great! We got married March 24, 2017 at Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City NJ. He captured amazing pictures that will be with us for a lifetime!

We met with a few photographers before meeting with Harrison, but the decision was an easy one for us. Harrison is extremely likeable and made us feel comfortable immediately. The photographs from our wedding are stunning – his use of color and light captured our day perfectly! The turnaround time between our wedding and when we received the proofs was incredibly fast. We are so happy with how everything turned out, and we wouldn’t change a single thing. Our families are so grateful to Harrison for the amazing pictures and for how easy picture-taking process was!

We had a very non-traditional wedding in my mind (simple ceremony and dinner at an area restaurant)- I was hoping for good photos but wasn't expecting anything spectacular. That was until I met Harrison. He did such an amazing job of capturing our big day. We did a first look and the restaurant didn't have any views that would make someone stop and say, WOW, but Harrison scouted a beautiful lake location that made so many people who saw the photos (myself included) say WOW. His photos are stunning, his attention to detail is awesome and his ability to capture a shot- well it's simply fantastic.

Thank you so much for your vision and attention to perfection on our big day!

We had the pleasure of working with Harrison for our May wedding. If you are looking for an amazing value with a man who will go above and beyond from the contract signing to the wedding hire Harrison. Harrison not only did our engagement photos in multiple locations but captured 1000+ photos in the 12 hours he was at our wedding. Not once did he sit down to take a break, capturing every moment we wanted and more. Our guests loved the enthusiasm Harrison showed. Thank you for making our wedding day memories last forever!

Harrison was fantastic, a true professional in every sense. He was very responsive to phone calls and emails, and was consistently friendly and professional, and remained totally unobtrusive during the day. He did such an excellent job with the photos - beautiful lighting, and great action shots on the dance floor!

We were so happy to have Images by Harrison as our photographer for our wedding. Harrison is super personable and friendly and so easy to work with. He really got to know us through our emails and phone conversations. Harrison came to us through a recommendation of a friend of mine her friend. Harrison went and scoped out our venue so he knew where he wanted to take pictures the day of the wedding which I appreciated because I wanted to be at our cocktail hour so that helped to eliminate wasting time trying to figure out picture spots the day of. He had a whole timeline planned out and executed it really well the day of the wedding. The pictures that he took are absolutely breathtaking and my husband and I can not stop looking at them. He really captured our wedding in some really great pictures. Thank you Harrison for making our wedding so memorable and something that we can always relive through our pictures!

Couldn't have been happier to select Harrison as our wedding day photographer! Harrison worked with us through the entire process to get the photos we wanted for our wedding day and transformed them into something beautiful. From Hiring throughout the wedding day, Harrison will go above and beyond to make sure the venue is scoped and will incorporate the most beautiful locations if your shoots. Harrison was recommended to me by a friend, and he did not disappoint. From the start he showed willingness to work with us in order to get us the best results. With less than a month's notice, Harrison managed to come up with a theme for our April wedding, and was there on the big day before we were (waaayyy before we were!). I have to say a special thank you to Harrison for his patience with me (I am a lawyer) and my family (we're Russian). It has been nearly six months since our wedding, and every time I look at the photos they make me smile! Thank you, Harrison for your beautiful work, patience, persistence and forcing us to take the pictures in the gardens, despite the 50 degree weather!

We got married in May 2016. To start from the beginning, I researched many photographers & I chose Harrison based on two things: He'd done a wedding for a friend years back & her shots were gorgeous! When we met to discuss my husband & I, location, get to know each other, I thought, this guy is hilarious. I liked the positive vibe he gave off & felt good about such a spirited person shooting our day. And I was spot on. He met us for our rehearsal at the location (2days before the wedding) to meet the party & see the location to get an idea for good picture locations. He was very patient, as there were two or three people late, but in the meantime got to know everyone & was chatty. As we began to rehearse he continued to scope out angles & shots for our big day. I was happy to know he cared enough to make an extra trip there only for an hr or so JUST to make sure he was familiar with everyone & the location. To top it off, he got in a few test shots of the group. And 2 of them are my FAVORITE pictures. They came out gorgeous & fun! Really captured the moment. As for the big day, Harrison was right on time & was very open & happy to also take some shots I'd seen online & recreate. They came out great. His patience continued when my mother in law was rushed to the hospital about an hr before the ceremony started. We were all devastated. We decided to push the wedding back an hr or two & in the meantime, once again, he just mingled & took some good candid shots. We also did a lot of the group shots to not have to do it later on. We unfortunately had to continue the day without our mother in law but he was very positive & fun throughout the whole day & night. So many Unique & Pretty shots that I don't feel like I missed anything without having a videographer. Harrison is not only a pure talent but a fun guy. I would highly recommend booking him as your photographer. Thanks Harrison for EVERYTHING, if we do a renewal for Dor, you're coming to the islands :) haha!

It was great working with Harrison for our wedding. We met with him in advance to review all the details of the wedding day. The day of, he was at the venue before the bridal party arrived, ready to go! He instantly began taking pictures. In less than three weeks, he already had all the pictures for us. They were amazing to look at. It was like I was able to relive my wedding day by going through all the photos - smiles, laughs, tears and all! Harrison is a great photographer and a great person in general. It was a pleasure working with him!

Harrison and I go way, way back in a professional sense. I always kept him in mind for my wedding since he was always great to work with. I saw the work he did on a friend's wedding and the pictures were gorgeous! It was a no brainer to hire him for our wedding and we LOVE the pictures he took. Hire him and you will be glad you did!

I would highly recommend Harrison. He is an exceptional photographer and he captured so many special moments and emotions on our wedding day. He made my husband and I very comfortable and made us laugh alot which eased our wedding day jitters.

This review is rather late but better late than never. Harrison is amazing at what he does. I had a small non traditional wedding, planned in less than two months. I had no idea what I wanted to do and felt a bit overwhelmed. I basically asked him to show up and take pictures. Harrison, however, understands the wedding process very well and asked all of the right questions. He made some great suggestions and helped me come up with a plan. He's extremely professional but easy going at the same time. My husband and I felt very comfortable with him. On the day of he showed up bright and early and got to work immediately. I am extremely happy with how Harrison captured my special day and I'm so glad we hired him.

We could not have been happier with Images by Harrison for our wedding day photographer. Throughout the entire planning process Harrison was wonderful to work with, and made us feel very comfortable about our upcoming big day. He had never worked at our venue, and even took a trip out there to get familiar with the property.
The day of, he was outstanding! He was so detail oriented and took such incredible, intricate photos. It was a really hot day, and we had an outdoor wedding, but NOTHING slowed him down!! He is an absolute joy to work with.
He got our photos back to us incredibly quickly, and thats when we were really blown away. The pictures he took of our wedding day were absolutely incredible.
I am so glad we chose Images by Harrison, we will have these photos for the rest of our lives, and there is no one else who could capture this magical day better than he did. Thank you Harrison!!!!!!

Harrison is an amazing photographer with a great personality. He was extremely responsive and accomadating throughout the whole process. I recently recieved my photographs (very quickly by the way) and they are absolutely beautiful! I have recieved so many comments on how amazing the photographer and his photos were. I could not have asked for anything more!

Harrison was absolutely amazing! From the moment I reached out about my wedding he was responsive, flexible and most of all excited about our event. Nothing makes a bride feel more confident about a vendor then when they bring a sense of excitement and love for what they will be doing on the BIG day! His packages were truly amazing and included everything from engagement photos to my albums! Harrison truly showed his love of photography and from start to finish made the process smooth and most of all CAPTURED EVERYTHING! Most of all he made the day seamless and wasn't intrusive. I couldn't be more pleased with his work and after receiving my albums yesterday (note the fast turnaround!) my husband and I cannot thank Harrison enough for the memories he has given us!

Harrison was our wedding photographer for our wedding on 10-24-15. Prior to the wedding, Harrison was extremely responsive to e-mails and phone calls, and Harrison and I spoke several times leading up to the big day. Additionally, Harrison went above and beyond by going to our venue on his own time and checking it out since he had not shot there before, and he picked a perfect location for our photos so we would be ready to go on our wedding day. Harrison was also very timely with providing us with our wedding photos, and we already have our entire album and the photos are beautiful! Overall, our experience with Harrison was exceptional, and I think he is the best priced photographer out there!

Since he had not worked there before, he took the time to scout the location prior to the wedding, and really plan the best photo opportunities possible. The day of, he was professional and pleasant to work with- his sense of humor puts everyone at ease and allows for natural, stunning photographs. Our pictures are AMAZING!!!!!!! I am BEYOND happy with all of them.. and we received them very quickly after the wedding ended!! Harrison was not only wonderful to work with, but his pictures are absolutely stunning! Living in MA and planning a wedding in NJ could have been stressful, Harrison met me at our venue and explained everything to me. He also was easily available by phone to discuss our big day! Harrison was the photographer for our wedding in October 2013 and did a fantastic job. He first shot our engagement photos in Central Park in June 2013 and once we saw those, we knew we had a gem of a photographer! They were stylish and timeless photos with a unique artistic flair. At our wedding, he captured every moment perfectly and created images that we will treasure for the rest of our lives together. He provided a second photographer and they were able to ensure that all of our guests were photographed at multiple points throughout the night. They also took photos from different angles of the same frame, and made the family photos quick and painless! Harrison was also a pleasure to deal with on a personal level - he has a great sense of humor and responded quickly to all of our questions and requests. He has a very artistic eye and caught beautiful moments on the fly when he saw beautiful natural light or backdrop. And, as the icing on the cake, he got us both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures very quickly after the events. We could not have asked for anything more from our wedding photographer: in addition to everything described above, he showed up early, he had a ton of energy and enthusiasm all day, and he captured every important moment. We would give Harrison our highest recommendation!

Fantastic Photographer

I used Harrison for my May 31st wedding and my pictures came out amazing! My wedding album which Harrison designed also came out stunning, and I was really happy with everything. Harrison worked really hard during the entire wedding capturing all the special and fun moments, it was hard to choose the album pictures since there were so many great shots! He was also there at least an hour before us taking pictures of the grounds and getting familiar with the place. I also really loved our engagement session photos that he took as well and was glad I included that in my package. Overall I was really happy with Harrison and would absolutely recommend him to another bride.

Hands down Harrison is the best photographer out there! If you want amazing photographs, a fun guy and someone who loves his job your guy is Harrison. The pictures he took were absolutely beautiful and unique. He sweltered with us in 100 degree weather without a compliant and a constant smile on his face. He understood everything we wanted in pictures and was able to capture that and so much more! I have been to 30 plus weddings and have been a part of 12 and the quality of Harrison's pictures stand out above all the rest by far. There is no comparison or question. If you want gorgeous photos and to look like movie stars on your special day there is NO ONE BETTER!!!!!!

When Endri and I first met Harrison we both knew he was a keeper. It is obvious that he has a passion for photography, which motivates him to produce such captivating work. His humor is a bonus, especially on the wedding day! I remember telling Harrison that he has to promise to keep me laughing on my wedding day. (Promise kept!) The pictures are absolutely beautiful. Each picture that Harrison takes tells its own story. His timing of each picture is impeccable. I can honestly say that I had the best night of my life! Harrison, you are the BEST!!

Harrison is a MUST!

Harrison is a superb photographer!! He did a spectacular job capturing the best and most unique moments of our wedding day. He was so personable and passionate about his photography. We all had a great time taking pictures and he made us feel very comfortable. He was with us literally ALL day taking photos. He also got back to us so quickly with all of our proofs!! I loved that. Our families agreed that it's going to be quite hard to pick the best ones :) . There was just the right balance of portraits and candids and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with Harrison and his passion for his work. THANK YOU AGAIN! You rock! :)

We did a lot of research on different photographers before settling on Harrison. Harrison was absolutely top-notch. The most important criteria we looked at was picture quality. Harrison has a great camera and lenses, and the pictures were superb. He does all of the "standard" wedding shots very well, but what really sold us was his eye with the more artistic shots -- they were very beautiful and our families were very impressed! Harrison is a consummate professional -- he worked tirelessly on our wedding day, capturing all of the special moments and also taking our many requests. We will definitely be recommending him to all of our friends!

We found Harrison at The Knot a year before our wedding date and decided to go with him because of all the positive reviews. It was truly a delight working with Harrison during the entire process. He was quick to respond back with our inquiries and delivered beautiful pictures that I can proudly display in my home and give out to my family. He took the time to get to know us on a personal level to get an idea of what style of photography will fit us best. He even scouted the venues two days before to get familiar with the places and also was aware of the weather. His attention to detail is remarkable. He is just very professional but also personable and fun to work with. We are very pleased. Highly recommend his services.

Amazing!!! Amazing!!! Amazing!!!!

Just in case you can't tell I was in love with Harrison's work. It rained cats and dogs on my wedding day and you couldn't tell by me or my husband in the pictures. Harrison took the time to do a site survey prior to the big day and prepare for the unfortunate torrential rains. Through all this he was able to create photo journalism and not standard, canned wedding photos. I would highly recommend Images by Harrison to anyone who will listen.

Definitely Not Your Average Photographer!!
Harrison truly amazed us with his unorthodox style, sense of humor and professionalism. From preparation to celebration the creativity and originality Harrison brought to the table was like nothing we had ever seen. Action shots to stills, some color, some black and whites, our wedding photographs are like no other. Harrison also has a way of creating a comfort zone making the experience pleasant for everyone, as a matter of fact if he wasn't carrying his equipment you would think he's one of your guests! So if you're looking for your basic run of the mill stereotypical wedding pictures do not hire Harrison. Harrison has absolutely brought wedding photography into the 21st Century.

Simply the best!

We couldn't have asked for anything more! Harrison was accommodating and professional, fun and easy to work with! He took amazing traditional (and not so "traditional") photos! He was there when we needed and had so much patience when we didn't want to leave the party! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer!

The Myth, The Man and The Legend

Out of all of our vendor reviews this one might be the hardest. Of course his pictures speak for themselves but how do you describe the Man behind the Cam? First off, he's technical as all heck. He can walk in a room and within 5 seconds know exactly what lens he's going to use, what ISO settings, shutter speeds, where he can bounce light off of, etc. and he'll tell you all of that even though it might sound Chinese! Even for night photos he knows every phase of the moon and how bright it will be at any time. He's like the Bear Grylls of photography! His brain works differently than most peoples (in more ways than one) so he'll see a creative shot that most might miss and won't stop until it's just right. He is a complete perfectionist which works great in your favor. To avoid making this a totally bias review for some shots he might make you hold a pose a little longer than you would like but its because he's getting that perfect picture that you will be thankful for later. He has quite the personality and most of your smiles will be from him cracking jokes. Seriously, he had us laughing the entire time. Harrison was an absolute blast to work with and the end result was a lot better than I ever expected. I'm in the video/photography business so I had high expectations and Harrison went above and beyond. If I had to get married again (to the same woman of course) there's no doubt that I'd want him there. Even though he is quite the funny character he takes his job very seriously and it shows. What more could you ask for?

Amazing photographer!!

Harrison did a good friends wedding . After seeing his photos I knew I couldn't use anyone but the best , Harrison. His work is like no other he captures great moments. He made everyone feel super comfortable and made the task of taking pictures fun . He knows exactly where to go and how to pose to get an awesome shot . He even made rain look pretty . Harrison gets all your prints to you As soon as possible . There are so many good shots it is hard to choice from . I have recommended his name to many people . He is great at what he does ! Harrison was incredible. His professionalism can't be beat and the quality of is work is amazing. With so many years of experience, my fiance was smitten by him as soon as we met him. Let's face it, what you want in a wedding photographer is a professional. You also want an artist, someone who will show off your wedding with a different flair than your point and shoot photographers. I know that's what I wanted. I chose Images by Harrison exactly for this reason. All you have to do is look at his work. It speaks for itself. Harrison worked VERY HARD for us. Harrison had great communication, asked us about our needs, what we wanted, showed us what he could do and now that he has finished my pictures and delivered them to us I am in awe. Let me explain why.

It rained on my wedding day... all day, and very hard. Now here is the magic part -- most of my pictures look as if the sun was shining. I'm not sure how he did it. The church is all lit up, but with a glow. I loved how Harrison captured the small things, my ring, my bouquet, my shoes... I want to remember those things. Harrison's equipment is state-of-the-art and the pictures reflect that. You can see such details in each picture... like the rings, you can see every facet in the diamonds. I'm sure it's his technique, and it definitely works.

The thing I loved most of all is how Harrison captured my feelings. For instance, there is a picture of when I first saw the church and got out of the limo, I was so overcome with joy. I recall that now because I see it in the picture. Now that is a way to capture a memory! When I see my pictures, I feel like I did on my wedding day.

Oh, and the price... very reasonable. Photographers are expensive. I felt Harrison delivered so much more than we paid for... not only that he stayed with us for longer than he contracted. It's just his nature, he's very giving and loves his work.

I hope all you brides out there are as happy with your photos as I was with Harrison. Best of luck to all!

Harrison was recommended to me by my wedding caterer, and I am SO glad we chose him for our July 2012 wedding. He really took the time to understand our personal style and capture all of the special moments of our wedding from start to finish. He is professional, personable and incredibly passionate about photography. He put us at ease on a day when there was so much going on, and our pictures came out more stunning than we ever could have imagined! We hired Harrison based on a recommendation by a caterer. We then searched him online and found many positive reviews. I must say it was a pleasure working with him. He got the job done. The very next day after our wedding as we were in the airport leaving for our honeymoon he e-mailed us a sample of our pictures.... amazing!! We can't wait to see them all.

We love our wedding photos by Harrison! Harrison was laid back and easy to work with. He was accommodating and willing to meet via video chat since we were coming from out of town. During the ceremony and reception, we didn’t even notice he was there yet we had great pictures of everything. We have artistic shots and lots of candids and they all look great. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Harrison was a pleasure to work with. He is very professional, prompt and thorough! Harrison met with us at our venue before our wedding (in the rain, no less!) and walked us through photo locations. This made our wedding day photos go smoothly and quickly. He captured us just as I imagined on our wedding day. His prices were reasonable and he sent our photos within 2 weeks of our wedding- I couldn't believe how fast we got them back! I would definitely recommend Harrison if you're looking for a wedding photographer.

We knew we wanted to hire Harrison as soon as we finished our first meeting with him. He was very willing to work with us, and the prices were just right for our wedding (engagement shoot, second photographer, prints, and album!). He did a great job shooting our engagement session at an unfamiliar location, and he even made the trek out of the state. He also went above and beyond at our reception--staying past the contracted time and moving furniture, directing people, etc. because he knew what was needed to get great shots. For both the wedding and engagement session, his turnaround time on the photos was excellent! The engagement session within a week or two, and within a month for the wedding! He also was quick at getting our album proofs and making the edits we desired. The album is top notch quality. Harrison is an exceptional photographer - he knows how to make and take great shots! He was also able to make everyone feel at ease. He will not let you down in the quality of your shots. They are exceptional. He captured so many moments just beautifully, and it's such a joy to have such amazing photos. However, he was the least responsive of all of our vendors via email (sometimes a quick response, sometimes none at all--texting/calling seems to be better), which was sometimes unsettling as the big day approached. He did include fun pictures in emails from time to time, which was neat, and he's very personable and fun! Beyond a doubt, an exceptional photographer. Overall, a very good experience; we'd hire him again. Thanks, Harrison, for capturing our big day with so many wonderful pictures!

We did our engagement photos last week in Princeton, NJ with Harrison and it was a great experience. Harrison made my fiance and I feel comfortable and natural and never made us feel rushed. Just two days after the shoot he had a blog post on his webpage with a sneak-peek and our pictures in the mail. After just 7 days we had all of the great pictures to view and share with family and friends. The pictures look great and no we're even more excited for our wedding day!

Hail to Harrison!!

Harrison shot my wedding just over a month ago and did an AMAZING job. Every picture was exactly what I wanted and the shots were spectacular! He captured moments on the night I was not able to see for myself and I will surely treasure those for the rest of my life! He is very professional, accommodating, and even funny. He made the day very enjoyable and was able to get the perfect shots in a short period of time, so we were able to enjoy the reception! I would 100% recommend him to any one!!
