Brilliant!

Sebastien made our wedding video everything I wanted it to be! He was able to capture everything! I was absolutely amazed by the quality and length of our video. I couldn't have asked for a better videographer to capture our day. He was extremely professional, flexible, and affordable. He worked with our photographer with ease and made sure that he was never in the way of any photos. I will forever cherish the video he created! I highly recommend using him as your videographer! I hope to use him again in the future!

Greatest quality to price ratio!

We recently hired Sebastien for 1 hour of a couple photoshoot at Georgetown and 3 hours of photography at the outdoors wedding reception. The photographer was friendly and attentive, so we had a very comfortable experience. He also picked nice locations for the shots and had some creative ideas too. We were also very pleased with the quality of the pictures and how quickly we received them, and all that for a very reasonable rate!

Wonderful Videographer

Sebastien was a pleasure to work with! He was professional, friendly, captures gorgeous video of our special day, and was flexible when it rained during our outdoor wedding. Our video came quickly after and we loved reliving the day while watching it!

An Amazing Videographer

Sebastien did an amazing job as videographer for our wedding! He had previously done my sisters wedding and also did a great job, so we knew in hiring him we would get that same professionalism and care. Sebastien is such a pleasure to work with and always has a smile on his face on the job. His positive attitude is something we really appreciated. Additionally, he completed our highlight video in a timely manner and we still watch it all the time, along with the raw footage he gave us. Sebastien chose to shoot for our wedding even though the day of was his actual birthday, which I believe just displays his kind-hearted and selfless nature. You will not regret hiring him!

Sebastien was wonderful! He was with us from start to finish at the wedding. Sebastien captured every moment and more. Above our expectations!

Sebastien went above and beyond what we viewed. Every moment was amazing and he was able to get video of things that were priceless. Sebastien was above all professional and made us feel like he was a part of the family. He was gracious and lovely. Highly reccomended! You will not be disappointed at all in hid quality of work. We love our wedding video!

Sebastien was an amazing choice for our videographer! Besides being reasonably priced, he was friendly, came prepared, and created an amazing product. We love the wedding video he provided and all of the moments he was able to capture! It was also great to see that Sebastien was able to work around our photographer without missing anything on video. We can’t wait to keep watching our wedding videos for years to come!

The Ideal Videographer

Sebastian is incredibly meticulous and good at communicating with you. As the bride, I had a seamless experience and couldn’t be happier with the product. Especially during COVID when we were constantly readjusting plans, Sebastian never caused me any extra stress. He is incredibly talented and was a gem to have at the wedding. I absolutely can not recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed. Our wedding video couldn’t be more perfect.

Highly Recommend! Great Quality

We were on the fence on whether or not we wanted a videographer for our wedding, but decided to go ahead and book Sebastien due to his great reviews and reasonable prices. We are so glad we did! The day of, Sebastien introduced himself, was super friendly, and was like a fly on the wall capturing every special moment. We received a USB of a 4-minute trailer, the wedding ceremony & important parts like the speeches and dances, and the party/dancing, about a month after the wedding (as promised). Both the video and audio quality were amazing! Sebastien was thoughtful about angles, well positioned, and didn’t miss a single thing. It was so much fun watching the video and our family commented on the great video quality. Highly recommend!

Excellent Videographer

I highly recommend Sebastien as a videographer. We received our wedding video about a month ago and are thrilled with the quality of the video. Our entire ceremony is recorded beautifully including the sound and music. The reception video is beautiful and the video of before we got married helps us remember our special day. Sebastien was very responsive to my emails. He arrived on time and worked flawlessly with the photographer. I am glad we chose Sebastien as our videographer and we have our wedding video to cherish forever.

The process of planning and setting up a wedding goes to the wayside if the video is not perfect. The video services provided were amazing. The aerial view captured by the drone for our outside wedding on the river were perfect. The video quality is professional the YouTube montage will make you feel like a celebrity. The day of the wedding he was prompt, professionally dressed, and was very flexible. The video was one thing I was nervous about and he delivered 10 fold. Sebastien is the best!

Sebastien Mortreux was everything we could have wanted in a wedding videographer. At first, we were hesitant to get a videographer of any kind, but we were so glad we did. Before we signed a contract, Sebastien took ample time to talk with us on the phone, going through our expectations, questions, and all the services that he could provide. We felt incredibly comfortable with him and sure that this was the right choice.

Sebastien showed up at our venue as early as he could and took amazing drone shots to capture the beauty of the space and of our day. He worked seamlessly with our pair of still photographers to get footage of the bride and groom getting ready, as well as a first look and pictures before the ceremony. He used dozens of cameras to perfectly record the ceremony and all the magic of it. During the reception, we received numerous compliments from guests about Sebastien’s presence, friendliness, and level of excitement. He stayed at the venue until well after midnight, capturing hours of dancing, fun, and our eventual grand exit.

Within weeks, we received a roughly 10-minute highlight video expertly edited with special parts of the ceremony and reception, all set to beautiful music. He was also able to provide several DVD copies as well as a flash drive of the entire wedding video, which totaled over 2 hours of footage. We couldn’t have been happier with how the video and sound all came out, and though we were tipped off to it by guests during the reception, Sebastien included some wonderful surprises at the end of the video. To anyone on the fence about getting a videographer for your big day, go with Sebastien and you will not regret it at all. It was certainly money well spent, and an incredible way to remember the best day of your life.

Very profession and great quality

Initially we were not going to hire a videographer for our wedding but i thought it would be a nice surprise for my wife as a wedding present to have our special day recorded. I found Sebastien with a search on wedding wire and the knot about a month before our wedding. Luckily he had an opening on Memorial day weekend for us! Working with Sebastien was very easy, he worked with our photographer very well, as if they had worked with each other before. We got the basic package but he added on an extra hour for us since we put down an early deposit! We added on the highlight video and raw footage for an extra fee but we found it was well worth it to share the highlights with our friends and family who couldn't make it. The raw footage has been a blast to look back and see moments that we weren't able to see while we were running around and taking pictures! Overall very professional and easy going videographer that I would recommend to any of my friends getting married!

Wonderful! A "Must Use!"

So happy we discovered Sebastien! He was so courteous and professional, but also very fun and personable. Now, having watched the DVDs end to end, I am so happy with what he captured of my daughter's wedding - he managed to capture the beauty of the ceremony, and the love, joy and amazingly loud, crazy great time at the reception - It was so fun for me to see some things I missed! Plus, the weather cooperated and we loved the drone footage! Watching was like being there all over again - including the tears and laughter! Have another child getting married and will most definitely be calling on Sebastien again!!

Sebastien did an excellent job as our wedding videographer. His included drone services offered some incredible shots of the venue and as pictures. Amazing videographer

Sébastien was professional and kind on our wedding day! He was always filming but he did a wonderful job of fading into the background and not being in your face about it. When we got our wedding video we were absolutely blown away!!! Sébastien capture every single important moment on our wedding day and now we have it on video forever! His video is so thorough and you can tell he was paying attention to who was really important on our wedding day and made sure they were featured. We absolutely loved working with Sébastien and we are so grateful that he has given us this amazing wedding video that we will treasure forever! Best in class Videographer

Our wedding day was fast and at time completely chaotic. Trying to juggle the schedule, the people, etc but throughout the day we had one universally calming factor, our videography Sebastien. He was professional, kind, and kept me at ease all day. On top of that our wedding video is the best thing ever!! He captured every moment perfectly and the quality is best in class. What a pleasant experience

We didn't even consider hiring a videographer until very late in our planning process -- and we're so glad we did because Sebastien was amazing from start to finish! Friendly, punctual, creative, hardworking, flexible, etc. the list goes on. We had 3-4 days of events around our wedding so he spent a lot of time with us and always brought his "A" game. In the end, we had like 8 hours of amazing footage -- all the key happenings plus some awesome behind-the-scenes candid footage -- that we're going to treasure forever. He was the last vendor we booked for the wedding and he ended up being our favorite one. You will not be disappointed if you book him!

A video we'll watch a thousand times

Sebastien is reliable, EASY to coordinate with, and unobtrusive (you'll hardly notice he's there on your wedding day, but in reality he's catching great stuff). In the end, we received an amazing video that captured and allowed us to relive an incredible day. He caught so many beautiful moments! The highlight video he created for us was also phenomenal, and we have watched it 1000x.

The video of our wedding was beautiful. We also didn't even notice that they were there capturing all the moments. We received a fun surprise from our guests at the end of our video when we learned that our videographer had interviewed some of the guests to leave us special messages. Sebastien did a great job!

Excellent Videographer!

We loved working with Sebastien! He was so friendly and easy to work with. We received a highlight video and our full wedding video quickly, and received 4 DVDs and 2 flash drives. I wish I could give a 10 star review for the value of Sebastiens work! We were looking for a videographer for our wedding ceremony and were tight with our budget and after seeing Sebastiens work we decided to go with him and we were left very pleased. We had a Pakistani wedding and Sebastien did a great job recording the ceremonies properly and ensuring all important people were documented. He was very responsive after the ceremony and had a very quick delivery time. He also ensured he got our opinion in regards to what songs we wanted to play and which parts of the video we wanted to leave the live recording. People wanted different things and Sebastien incorporated all requests perfectly! I have seen the video numerous times now and I am so happy with how everything turned out. Thank you so much! HIGHLY recommend him for his quality and value!

We got married on June 15 at Piedmont Club in Haymarket, VA. I was almost done with the wedding planning when I decided at the last minute to hire a videographer. Even at the last minute Sebastien was so accommodating and always quick to respond to all my questions! He worked with me to provide the exact service I was looking for and I couldn’t be more pleased! Our guests commented about how friendly and nice Sebastien was. Sebastian and his team did a simply stunning job capturing our wedding on film for us, and we are so glad we decided to hire him. He was very friendly and enjoyable to work with. He got all of the specific shots we requested beautifully, plus many, many other shots during the event that he took on his own initiative that had excellent composition and lighting. Sebastien was an absolute pleasure to work with. I found his website by browsing Craigslist ads and thought it was too good to be true! Sebastien answered all my questions, was flexible with his timing, professional, and worked within our budget. We had originally booked him until 8:30, but the toasts ran late and he agreed to stay an additional hour without even batting an eye. I also loved how he kept most of the ceremony footage and toasts intact so that we can fully re-live our wedding celebration. The end result of the video was one of the best surprises we received! We just received our wedding DVD, less than 3 weeks after the wedding. I could not be any happier with Sebastien's work. I love the detail still shots he took and the special moments he captured prior to the ceremony. I get the relive the best day of my life over and over with the video. This is one area of the wedding I think you should not skip, the video. As the bride, you don't get to see your groom walk out or the parent's being seated for even your bridesmaids walking down the aisle. Pictures are very important, but there is something special about seeing your vows being spoken and the way you look at each other, your first dance and all of your guests in motion with video.
Sebastien was very responsive and a pleasure to work with!! Definitely recommend him 100%!

We knew we wanted a videographer for our wedding, and Sebastian came through with the right recommendations and at an extremely reasonable price. He is professional and friendly and most of all, he is unobtrusive. With limited direction and guidance, he was able to capture our special day in ways that make us wonder how it could have been done without us even knowing he was there. We received a highlight video and a large video (over an hour long) that are both such a joy to re-watch over and over again. The highlight video is perfect for sharing with friends and family in person and on social media. The larger video is cut and edited so we can even be clearly understood, without any wind noise even though it was an outside ceremony. If you ask us, Sebastian was a huge value for the price he charges. It's exactly what we were wanting and we couldn't be happier with his work.

Sebastien was reasonably priced and did an excellent job. We recommend him to anyone interested in a videographer. If you're on the fence about whether or not to get a videographer, I was skeptical too, but it turned out to be a great decision. The day passed by so fast that we missed a lot. The video was entertaining and did a great job showing us things we missed or forgot.

Talking to him will make you feel like there is no one so passionate about taking pictures and videos other than Sebastian. He is genius when it comes to the concepts for taking pictures. His videos shows the different perspective and vision one can barely think of. He was patient with all the to-be-photographer friends and relatives and at the same time commanding so he won't miss our special moments. He is someone who will enjoy being their as a part of family, just not a person doing his job. His work on the website speaks for itself. One of the must have thing for the wedding is a photographer and a videographer. And you rarely find someone with that quality and experience on both the fields like Sebastian. The best.

Sebastian was able to provide me with a custom package based on exactly what I wanted and for the amount of time I wanted. He required little to no direction from me and was great with the wedding staff and guests. I had several comments on how nice and professional he was. He made a highlight video and full video and got those to me very quickly after the wedding, which I was MORE than happy with. He made great videos, took the perfect shots of the perfect moments, and was overall amazing for a very reasonable price. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to friends!

Both my husband and I cannot be happier with the service and the output we got from Sebastien! He was very pleasant to talk to at our initial meeting, very professional, responsive and punctual. He barely noticed him during our wedding, however he got every part of it on video. Quality is amazing, both the picture and the sound. We highly recommend him to all of our friends and family that get married in the area!

We had originally not planned on hiring a videographer, but that changed when some friends of ours who had recently married, showed us their wedding video, which Sebastien had created. After seeing the video we contacted him to shoot our wedding. Working with Sebastien was as easy as could be. He sent us a form to gain more information about our wedding, and at any point that we had questions, he was immediately responsive. We didn't meet him until the day of the wedding, but I instantly felt comfortable with him. He exuded professionalism and experience, while at the same time recognizing what a special day it was for us. He did a fabulous job of being in the right places at the right times, without at all being intrusive or in the way. I was thrilled with the work that Sebastien did for us, and would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone else!

Fantastic work! Between my Wife and I it was extremely hard to handle all the vendors day of. Sebastien was so amazing that we didn't even realize he was there most of the time, but yet his videos revealed that he was EVERYWHERE. Our videos are outstanding and are a huge hit with our family. My husband found Sebastien on craigslist and even though I was a bit worried at first, he was a great find! We also have recommended him to my sister-in-law, who was getting married just 6 weeks before us. Sebastien did not disappoint! He was on time for the event, very punctual, really pleasant to deal with. He was all smiles and was very easy going and not pushy when it came to interviews. Now after watching my wedding video for the first time yesterday, I can say it was amazing! It was just so great to relive it once again! The quality of image is great (he has good equipment, my husband inquired), he captured all of the important moments of our wedding and did not miss anything (not sure if he ever even took a break!). He was never in the way or too much into our faces or faces of our guests. He would respond to our emails very quickly, which is very important. Overall: great person to work with, high quality product. I would highly recommend Sebastien to anyone!

Last minute I decided I wanted a videographer ( I was afraid of not remembering things or things going by so fast and wanted something to look back on and at least see our vows!) BUT I also couldn't break the bank as we had already spent too much on our wedding. I sent out several emails asking for someone to do at least our vows for X amount and Sebastian was available and said he would do 4 hours for that for us. First off- he came early and stayed later! He was so easy to talk to and work with and it was actually fun for him to be at our wedding.. like he should have been a friend and guest. He was by far one of the most personable vendors we had there! When we got his work ( we got a summary video with our song) and then the rest of the wedding full footage, we sat there in awe. He caught so many good moments.. many that we both had forgot! I am so happy I got this but more so happy that we had such a great guy filming it too! I would HIGHLY recommend him for any event. He is an artist and genuinely great person all around! Thank you Sebastian!

Sebastien was awesome to work with. My fiancé and I decided super last minute to hire a videographer for our wedding day. Due to the many good reviews online, we decided to email Sebastien regarding his videography services. He was super responsive and very thorough when going over his services/costs. On our big day, Sebastien was the best! I mean, I know he was there, because we hired him, but I might have seen him twice! A ton of our guests commented on his low key style, noting that he seemed to record everything that truly mattered while remaining in the background--thus never taking the attention away from where it should be. I truly believe Sebastien was the best money spent for our big day--for his wonderful product will enable our special day to forever remain perfectly in our memories. Sebastien did an amazing job providing videography services for our wedding and was a pleasure to work with. We met with him once before the wedding to go over the timeline and all the events/rituals that take place in a South Asian wedding. He also gave us some good tips that we incorporated in our planning. He managed to capture everything we wanted in high picture and sound quality. It seemed like he was always at the right place at the right time. Not even a month after our wedding we had received the blu-ray discs and DVDS in the mail, including the highlight video. We and our families really enjoyed watching the video and are so happy that we found Sebastien to capture our wedding day on film. Work aside, Sebastien is also a really nice person and we enjoyed talking to him. Even our guests mentioned that he was very polite and friendly. He even included some footage that we were not expecting at all. During the cocktail reception he went around asking guests to say something to the camera/us. Turned out to be a big surprise for us and one of the best parts of the video. We definitely recommend contacting Sebastien if you are in need of a videographer for any event.

We hired Sebastien for our wedding festivities in Maryland. It's every girl's dream to have a memorable wedding and finding someone to capture those lasting memories was more important to us than anything else. Thankfully, my husband's family found Sebastien and he did more for us than just capture amazing memories for our wedding weekend.

Sebastien was prompt, professional and creative. He clearly enjoys what he does and it shows in his final masterpiece. We never felt overwhelmed and at the same time never felt the need to jump in and tell him what we wanted. Yet, he captured everything that weekend from our house party to the goodbyes at the reception.

His final work articulates every emotion felt that weekend from happiness to sadness. The detail in his editing along with his steady hands created something that no one else can give us...our wedding video that has been shared with friends, family, co-workers and something I enjoy watching over and over!

Our wedding video montage is amazing – I still watch it over again and again. I hired Sebastien a week before my wedding and thank God I did. He always knew the right time to jump in and capture moments throughout the wedding; I barely even noticed he was there. He was so friendly, attentive and worked flawlessly with our photographer. To my surprise, when I received my video, Sebastien had privately interviewed family members at the reception to leave personal messages to us. Fantastic . . . and amusing :) It was such a relief to have such a hassle-free, high-quality service when I had a million other things to worry about.

Of all the things I considered for my wedding last spring, videography was my must-have, and I'm so happy we found Sebastien! The best thing about him is that he is incredibly personable, which you realize afterwards is sooo important for that job. He was able to get great close up footage (including awesome interviews with friends and family!) all without being obtrusive. He was so friendly, it encouraged my guests to interact with the camera and have fun doing it. Plus, his prices are incredibly reasonable, much less than others I had researched. His equipment is top-of-the-line as well; all my videos came out great!

Overall, I can't recommend Sebastien enough. After everything, I value my wedding videos even more than my pictures. Pictures are certainly great but video truly brings you back to that day--to how it looked and how it sounded. If nothing else, get a videographer, and Sebastien is the perfect choice!

Sebastien was absolutely fantastic! We decided at the last second to book a videographer and we are so glad we did.

It's only a month after our wedding and we already love watching that video.

Sebastien was super affordable, super friendly, super professional. We couldn't ask for anything else. We found him on craigslist during a last minute frantic search just two weeks before our wedding_he was free, but we didn't actually try to set up a meeting until 5 days before our wedding.

He had time to meet with us just days before our wedding, he was charming, easy-going and did a great job preserving memories that we'll treasure for the rest of our lifetime. You miss so much when you're the bride and the groom and it is wonderful to have video to remind you of just how much fun it was....

Friendly, Efficient, Memory-Capturer for Great Price!

For our wedding, we were on the fence about budgeting for a videographer, but I knew it would be important to me to have something to look back on and watch on anniversaries, show our kids one day, etc. I took a look at recommendations from The Knot and found Sebastien. He is a wonderful personality to have around on wedding day (feels like having a friend there) and was great at checking in with me or our coordinator as timing changed around some things at our reception - to make sure he captured the important things I had let him know I wanted captured without charging us for any extra time.
Post-wedding he is also SO fast! I know photos take a long time to get , so I expected to be waiting for videos too, but we got a link to our highlight while still on our honeymoon and DVDs/a device with all the footage on it soon after. We have absolutely loved watching the DVDs with our families and being able to look back on the day.
Overall, it seems average to pay a lot and receive only a highlight video these days. But, if you are looking for a videographer with the best price on the market who will give you the ability to look back on your day in short - and full - versions, then Sebastien is your guy! Thank you!

Great experience!

I hired Sebastien as a videographer for my wedding about a month out and I was so thankful that he was able to accomodate on such short notice. Not to mention in the midst of COVID-19 and he still was able to make it and create a beautiful video of my wedding while social distancing.

My grandson and his wife recommended you, since they were highly satisfied with your work at their wedding. But your work for me wasn't a wedding but rather a memorial service for which you did the video and quickly provided DVDs.

Memorable capture that will last forever!

Sebastien was a terrific addition to our wedding team and delivered a good product. He came early and stayed late the day of the event, was un-intrusive, and contributed great shoot ideas that added to our stills and our experience as well as to the video he created. He got along with the team and the wedding party and stayed involved with us long after the event to make sure we got to a good place with the highlight reel we had requested. Highly recommend!
