No One Better!!

I’m hoping my pictures speak for themselves because words are not going to be able to describe how amazing Paul was on our wedding day. Please just stop looking now and book him! From our communication early on, to receiving thoughtful emails 6 months - 1 month- 2 weeks out of things I might have forgot, to the big day; Paul was absolutely amazing to work with. On our special day he was present, calm, organized and fun. He really understood what we wanted. He can do amazing landscape shots, close up couples, sunset, stars, dogs, little kids, and all the classic candids. I’m telling you he really got it all and told a story with every shot. The biggest thing for me was I could find him when we needed him but also he knew when to camouflage and allow you to enjoy the moment. He got along with everyone so well that I wish I could have another big event just to hire him again! Thank you Paul!

Amazing photographer!

We are thrilled to have had Paul and his team there to document the best moments from our wedding. Amazing!

Paul is AMAZING!!! He was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in October 2021 at Mountain Top Inn in Vermont! He is more than a photographer; he is an artist! We were blown away by his professionalism, his talent, his kindness, and his work ethic!! He is so organized and on top of things that there was never a worry! We felt so at ease with him; he made everyone feel comfortable and he knew exactly how to achieve the true essence of our wedding!! Paul pays attention to detail and really listens! He captured photos of our wedding in such a way that is impossible to explain...he is remarkable at what he does! Paul is a fantastic photographer and beyond talented! Paul is one of a kind!

After seeing some of Paul's work, we decided our wedding date around Paul's availability. We NEEDED Paul Reynolds to shoot our wedding day. Looking back, that was the best decision that we made! Paul is unlike any other photographer that we had seen at prior weddings. The part that we appreciated the most about his style was that he was willing to make photography work the way we wanted it to. We wanted to be able to enjoy the day and let photos happen naturally, and he accomplished that perfectly. We were able to get amazing shots without missing out on our wedding reception. Paul's ability to take shots in natural surroundings is remarkable. We are overjoyed with our wedding album!

His photography perfectly captured the details and emotion of our wedding

Paul's photography immediately caught my husband's and my eyes, we absolutely love his style. Paul's photos not only beautifully capture light and colors, but also show so many of the emotions from our wedding day. Paul is incredibly talented and professional, but also is personable and will make you feel comfortable being in front of the lens on your wedding day. He was such a wonderful person to have with us on our big day, and when he gave us our photos we were beyond thrilled to be able to see how perfectly he captured it. If you are looking for a photographer reach out to Paul, we cannot recommend him highly enough!! As a side note, we rented his GIF booth for our wedding too. It was SO FUN. Paul and his wife set it up near the dance floor, looking at the GIFs of all our guests the next morning was the best.

Amazing!!!

Paul was so great to work with, and our photos came out amazing! He helped us find a package that was within our budget, and was so helpful throughout the entire process. Before the wedding, he met with us at our venue to scope out first look and portrait sites, and he made sure he knew what kinds of pictures were important to us. He was organized and efficient the day of our wedding, so everything was easy and ran smoothly. We got all the pictures we wanted, and they are absolutely beautiful! On top of all this, Paul is so friendly, easy-going, and professional. We could not have asked for a better photographer!

100% Satisfied!

Paul photographed our wedding in October 2017, and did engagement pictures for us the year before. He was wonderful to work with on both occasions. Neither of us are super comfortable being on camera, but Paul was very easygoing and made the process easy and painless. At the wedding, Paul and his second shooter got all the shots we were hoping for (and more), all the while being totally unobtrusive and out of the way. We were beyond happy with how the pictures turned out and will treasure them forever. We would whole-heartedly recommend Paul to any couple looking for a photographer!

I cannot say enough great things about Paul - he is absolutely amazing!!! I first met him when he photographed my sister's wedding in 2015, her photos were BEYOND gorgeous, and I knew we had to have him for our wedding as well!
Personally, Paul is amazing to work with. He has an amazing ability to put everyone in a room at ease, can direct a crowd of rowdy ex sorority girls and men cracking jokes, and still seemingly disappear into the wallpaper to catch special moments between you and your new husband.
Professionally, I cannot even TELL you how many compliments I've gotten on both mine and my sister's wedding photos. Over and over we've heard they're the most gorgeous photos someone has ever seen. Prior to the wedding, he talked with us many times about what we wanted our photos to look like, and even took trips out to scout locations near our wedding to be sure we would have the perfect place to shoot. He has an amazing eye and unwavering commitment to get the perfect shot. At one point, he was literally laying belly down in the MIDDLE of a dirt road just over the crest of a very steep blind turn and hill. I pointed out he could get run over at any moment, and his response was "Just yell if a car is coming, I'll roll out of the way. This shot will be SO WORTH IT" It 10,000% was!! The shot from this moment is our favorite in the whole album.
I honestly cannot wait until we have another occasion to hire Paul - he is such an amazing person and photographer!

Paul is an absolute GEM! He was by fair our best vendor. As my husband said after our first meeting, "I just want to grab a beer with the guy". Paul was so easy to get along with and just "got" us-- it felt like we had known him forever. He made our wedding that much more special, by making it so easy for us.

His schedule is packed (for obvious reasons), so if you can get him, book him ASAP!

Paul and his assistant took absolutely BEAUTIFUL portrait photographs of our wedding - some of which were then featured on the Vogue sister blog "Over The Moon"! Paul was such a breeze to work with during our wedding planning and on our wedding day. He and his photography partner were very professional, communicative and they delivered above and beyond our exaptation's! We are SO happy with all of the beautiful photos, the quality of the photos and the details that were captured from our wedding day. Multiple wedding guests have since mentioned how incredible our photographers were. Looking for a photographer is one of the most exciting and difficult parts of the wedding planning process. From the moment we came across Paul's samples online to meeting him in person and hearing his unique artistic approach to capturing his incredible shots, we knew we were in good hands. Between building up our confidence and going above and beyond to map out and nail an ambitious Engagement shoot to navigating the complexities of a long wedding day with many competing priorities and personalities, Paul and his second shooter worked tirelessly to pull off something truly special and have fun with us doing it. We are so happy and thankful we chose Paul to photograph our wedding. Paul was very communicative before and leading up to the wedding so we were familiar with him and could be ourselves with him. Paul is a laid back guy that we felt comfortable with but takes his job very seriously. We went through huge lists of photographers, reviewed their work, and finally landed on Paul. His work is simply stunning. Is he the cheapest photographer? Nope, but believe me, he was worth every penny and then some. We are thrilled with our photos and will have them forever to remember our day.

Our wedding posed a bit of a logistical dilemma for all of our vendors involved. It was set to be an outdoor wedding but happened to fall on a day that had a severe thunderstorm and wind storm for about an hour (right when the ceremony was supposed to take place). This threw off our timeline quite a bit, but Paul was very quick to adapt to the situation. He even laid in the wet grass to get the perfect shots. We even got to do a night time photo shoot which led to some pretty incredible photos. One other thing that was impressive is during our ceremony and other events, we barely noticed that he was there all while he got every shot we could desire.

It's hard to highlight everything Paul did that day, but he was truly extraordinary. I know you'll be just as satisfied if you choose Paul.

Paul was absolutely amazing to work with on our wedding day. We had a crazy thunderstorm roll through just as we were planning to start our ceremony. Paul was extremely accommodating and flexible as we changed our ceremony to inside. We decided to have dinner while we waited out the storm and did photos afterwards. Paul worked so well to capture all of our photos as the sun was setting. He made sure to incorporate some special shots that we had requested all while being conscious not to take too much time away from the celebration. Having a second photographer also helped capture our guests dancing while we were off taking portraits. I would highly recommend Paul to any couple looking for a very professional and talented wedding photographer!

Paul and his team was great to work with on the day of our wedding. Ultimately, my concern was if my soon-to-be wife was getting the pictures she wanted of the special day as I knew how important it was to her. Paul took the time before the wedding to meet with us, get to know with us and even visit our venue with us prior to the wedding in order to understand what was most important and the areas that may be best for pictures. He put myself and wife at ease the entire day and truly captured the perfect memories. Paul was amazing to work with! Given that we were planning our wedding remotely, Paul was super flexible in terms of scheduling calls and random meetings to fit our schedule. On the day of the event, Paul was phenomenal at putting us at ease and immediately connected with our families and wedding party. He was super efficient and got all of our staged photos done before the wedding since we really wanted to enjoy hanging out with our friends and family once the ceremony was complete. Paul is an amazing photographer and I highly recommend working with him for your wedding or any event you may need photographed (we had him both at our wedding and my bridal shower a few months before). He really cares about his clients, likes to get to know you and truly wants to understand what you are looking to remember about your perfect day. He scouts his locations and makes it easy for the Bride & Groom to simply show up for pictures rather than worrying about the best locations to take them! He also stays in the shadows and you do not even realize he is there, especially as you are getting ready, the ceremony and reception. Yet when you receive the pictures you can't believe you didn't notice him taking all of the amazing shots you get to look back on! He made my husband and I feel very comfortable and captured the most amazing pictures from the smallest detail to the main event. I can't say enough positive things about Paul Reynolds Photography! Paul and his team did an AMAZING job with our wedding photos. We were blown away by the quality of the photos and the moments he captured. Using Paul was one of the best decisions we made (besides getting engaged haha)! He was the utmost professional throughout the entire planning process, easily accessible and communicative, and listened to all our photo dreams and stylistic ideas.
On the actual day he and his amazing team showed up right on time and were present throughout the day while somehow managing to be almost invisible! He nailed all the shots and we are so incredibly pleased with the results. We wanted pictures that felt timeless, natural, and wanted our photos to look like "us." Wedding Date: October 1, 2016 Venue: Equinox Resort Manchester Center VT

Beginning with our first meeting with Paul we were impressed by how personable and professional he was and how relaxed he made us feel. We chatted for two hours which flew by before we knew it! We had met with 2 other photographers before Paul, but you know what they say: We saved the best for last. He was on top of responding to e-mails, answering any and all questions we had. It was a bonus that he was familiar with The Equinox. We went up a few months before the wedding to finalize everything with the venue. He was accommodating in meeting up with us during that time to check out the venue as well as hear our ideas and what was important for us for our big day.

As for the wedding day, Paul was laid back and easy to work with. Getting ready felt natural and fun. He’s the kind of guy who will lay in the dirt or trudge through the woods to get the perfect shot. When the timing of our schedule didn’t line up he calmly adjusted and communicated with us. For us, photography was very important. You will notice that Paul doesn’t need to use tons of filters to make his photos look great. They are clear, crisp, and full of color. Everyone has commented on how great they look! While there were many things to be stressed out about during our wedding day, our dealing with Paul was the least stressful part. He made it so easy and flow so smoothly. We 100% recommend him to anyone who is looking for a perfect blend of professional and easy to work with photographer for their big day!

Paul was by far the best vendor to work with during our wedding planning process. He was great from the first meeting getting to know more about us as a couple and what we enjoy doing all the way through to the wedding day. He was always available to answer any question that we might have via email whether it be about his process or anything else regarding the wedding. He truly loves what he does for work, and we could tell with the amazing quality of pictures that we have received. Both my wife and I were able to work with him for our engagement shoot and the wedding and every picture that he captured was stunning. He makes taking pictures seem so much fun and make you feel “natural” and not posed through the entire process. Paul is AMAZING, to say the least! From our first meeting, to our engagement photo shoot, prep meetings, emails, and of course the day of the wedding he was by far the best vendor at our wedding! Whenever we had a question or needed to reach out to him he was always very responsive, and made us feel like we were the only clients he was working with. It was important to us that we caught the "natural" moments during our wedding day, and that's exactly how Paul captured some of the most amazing pictures. From his interactions with our grandparents to joking around with the bridal party he made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. When we first saw Paul's work we were blown away and reached out immediately to see if he was available for our wedding. After meeting in person we were completely sold. His passion and commitment to his work was obvious. He was so easy to work with, which was especially important since we were doing all the planning from out of state. On our wedding day he was able to be everywhere without being obtrusive. He managed to both direct and guide us (and our families!) where needed while also capturing amazing candid shots. All the emotions we were feeling came through in the photos, and we couldn't be happier with them. They are simply breathtaking.

I knew we needed to hire Paul as soon as my then fiancé and I met Paul for a coffee in Burlington. I had seen his photos on WW and loved them, but I knew I needed to find someone cool so that my fiancé wouldn't be awkward in the photos. Paul had the perfect balance of laid back confidence that immediately spoke to both of us.

Then, over the next year, Paul and I stayed in touch continuing to discuss ideas and timelines. He came to meet my parents when we were nearby (since it was a destination wedding) and made sure he knew the wedding site before the day of the wedding. On top of that he was always available for any questions and he knows so much about how to shoot a wedding that I think he essentially planned the hour by hour for us.

Less than a week after the wedding Paul already had a teaser gallery online for us to view. It was such a treat to have that collection so soon. When Paul sent us all the entire digital collection, it arrived on a USB that is beautifully presented in a mini book with our photos on the front and back. We have it displayed in our living room.

Paul Reynolds is a talented photographer. He was able to capture our wedding day exactly how I had imagined and more. The photographs are visually artistic and one can tell he has knowledge and experience in the field. The lighting and details seen in each photo are perfect. There honestly isn't one photograph that my husband and I didn't love.
He not only is a great photographer, but also very down to earth and easy to talk to. This made planning the wedding and the day of, less stressful.

I loved that he planned a few meetings with us to go over details of our wedding before the big day. By meeting with us, he got a sense of what we expected and wanted on our big day and he definitely delivered. Like I said before, he is very easy to talk to, so this didn't feel like another boring wedding chore, but fun and relaxing. He was also accommodating when it came to giving us the most for our money. We decided to go with added help and had an assistant of Paul's help with photographs before the wedding, during the wedding and reception. We were very happy with her work as well. I would highly recommend Paul for your big day. I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.

Paul Reynolds was an absolutely SUPERB choice for our wedding photographer last year up in VT. We had a long engagement, and Paul was one of the first vendors that we booked (we booked him early since he's in high demand because he's so great!). Paul was in close contact with us throughout our engagement, and even drove out to the venue one weekend so he could see it in advance (he'd not yet photographed a wedding where we chose to get married). I know we were not his only clients, but he made us feel like we were with all of the personalized attention he gave to us.

Paul was the vendor that I spent the most time with on my actual wedding day. He was incredibly professional, and kept me present and at ease. He was one of those photographers who gets amazing shots without you even noticing he was there to capture the moment. He did this throughout the day, and his product showed.

The album he created for us is amazingly beautiful. He was SO easy to work with during the entire process. We felt like he was one of our best friends by the end of it all.

If you're looking for a photographer for any occasion, do yourself a favor and hire Paul. He's the best at what he does, as far as my husband and I are concerned.

When we began searching for a wedding photographer, we knew that we wanted someone who understood our vision, who we enjoyed time with and with whom we felt comfortable sharing intimate moments throughout our wedding weekend, and whose creativity and talent matched our wishes. We could not have been happier working with Paul!! We first worked with Paul for engagement photos, which were a great way for him to get to know us, and for us to get to know him. Paul was very well prepared, having done research ahead of time on the area where we met him for the shoot. Throughout the planning of the wedding, Paul was always easily reachable for questions or concerns. We even met Paul out a couple times for beers to talk about the wedding and what we wanted. Photos at the wedding were a breeze thanks to Paul's planning. We had discussed an itinerary well ahead of time and Paul was able to stick to the plan and deliver an incredible set of photos. Paul and his team were able to blend into the background of the day while still capturing some incredible and intimate moments. We also opted for Paul's "photo booth", which had more of the feel of a red carpet photoshoot, and our guests LOVED it. Some of our favorite photos came from the photo booth. Paul was hands down the best vendor we worked with during our wedding! He was prompt in replies to my numerous questions and concerns which was greatly appreciated and not something I can say about a lot of vendors. In addition, he was so easy to get along with! A friend of mine told me to pick your photographer carefully because that is the face you will see more of than any other on your wedding day….(she was right) and I am so glad I opted for Paul. Paul is actually the only person to make me cry on my wedding day- but it certainly was a fun cry…. When we did all our pre-planning (which involved a an amazing site visit!) he told me “when I arrive the day of the wedding I am going to ask you if you are ok and ready for us to start… you take your time, but from the minute you say go I promise you the day will be non-stop.” At the time I was like yeah whatever… but then the day came, and I had booked Paul for a whopping 12 hours (he lets you customize your package), and so he was there exactly on time to photograph me getting my hair done. As I sat in the chair he bent down and quietly said, you remember our deal, are you ready for me to start? Literally cue the waterworks… because at that moment all the planning and excitement and nervousness came to a head and I realized it was my wedding day! He put his hand on my shoulder and said it will be amazing…. Literally one of my favorite moments of the day and he was right, the day was a blur after  Luckily Paul was able to capture the blur for us. He was hysterical and able to wrangle our wedding party (20 people!) into amazing fun, not stuffy shots. He was polite to the adults, while chill with the friends. You honestly didn’t even know he was there 90% of the time yet he captured every moment. The photos are to die for! Amazing pictures, created by an incredibly gifted photographer.

My wife and I chose Paul to be the photographer for our wedding in Stratton Vt. on 05.23.15 and we could not have been happier with our decision. This was a destination wedding for us and planning from afar was a challenge, but Paul made sure that the photography was worry free and easy. Prior to the wedding, he took the time to get to know me and my wife so that he would be able to take photographs that were not only beautiful, but that reflected who we were as a couple.

At the ceremony he managed to take photographs from every angle without ever showing up in a photograph taken on the many iphones and digital cameras of my guest (I am still unsure how he managed to do this).

The more formal pictures that we took after the ceremony with the bridal party and immediate family, were elegant, creative, beautiful and at times even humorous. I have received many comments from friends and associates that the posed pictures look like they are out of a magazine.

During the reception, Paul once again managed to be everywhere at once. He took amazing photographs of all of our friends and family enjoying themselves during the festivities, including candids of family combinations that I would have never expected to see and missed in person as I was trying to mingle among my guests.

Paul was gracious and gregarious throughout the wedding and all of my guests had nothing but kind words to say about him, not only as the photographer, but as a person as well. He ingratiated himself with my entire wedding and in the end I felt as if he were more of a guest than one of our "vendors".

Paul, I cannot thank you enough for your work and I cannot recommend him enough to anyone who is looking for an amazing photographer.

Oh my goodness I don't even know where to begin! First, I will say that Paul's photography is some of the most breath-takingly beautiful photography that you will ever see. Paul and his staff captured the most beautiful photos of our son and daughter-in-law's wedding, from the early preparations to the final moments! We were married in a small ceremony in June of 2015 and had Paul as our photographer, based off online reviews and his galleries only. He was incredible. He kept in contact with us up until the day before and arrived early to scout out the location. He took amazing photographs of the ceremony and then we went to go do portraits. Paul has such an eye and wasn't afraid to walk up to people and ask if we could shoot in their backyard. Our pictures were ready in about 5 weeks and the edits were well done. Paul was the photographer for my sister's wedding last June and was absolutely wonderful. First of all, literally everyone who sees the photos immediately asks who did them because they are GORGEOUS. Imagine what you want your wedding photos to look like, take that image and multiply it by 10 on the awesome scale (it's a thing), and that's what Paul is going to give you. My sister and her husband look like they just popped out of the most romantic fairy tale as photographed for a bridal magazine. Absolutely gorgeous. Second of all, on a personality level Paul was a joy to work with. The last thing you need on your wedding day is the photographer stressing you out about getting a perfect shot of this or that or being in the way of getting ready etc. Paul is so nice and has such a calming demeanor everyone was instantly at ease. We hiked all over this (gorgeous) hill to get photos with the rolling Vermont skyline as a backdrop, and despite a roughly 90 degree day and heels on grass, Paul had everyone laughing and having a good time. Nothing felt rushed or stressed, and every shot looks perfect. Hire Paul - it will be the best decision you make.

Paul is both an amazing photographer, and an wonderful person. He always gave us the feeling that photographing our daughter's wedding was absolutely the most important thing on his list.
He reviewed everything with all of us ahead of time, scouted out the best photo opportunities a few days prior, and then (unobtrusively) shot the most beautiful photos anyone could wish for.

Within five minutes of working with Paul you realize he can be great at anything he does. His choice of pursuits is wedding photography, and he is great at it.

I truly cannot say enough about Paul and the service he provided for our wedding. From the first time we met, both of us knew that Paul was the person we wanted at our wedding. He was friendly, personal, and easy to talk to (all criteria we were looking for!) each time we met.

He provided excellent suggestions for formal shot groupings, and we even scoured the grounds of our venue a couple days before to find the perfect first look location.

On the day of the wedding, he exceeded our expectations! I'm someone who doesn't always appear natural or comfortable in photos, but Paul was able to keep me loose and make sure he got the best shots possible. He tirelessly worked throughout the night, getting so many great candid and posed pictures. He even took my wife and I outside during dinner in order to get the best shots of us at sunset (which ended up being spectacular photos!).

He was present and available whenever we were looking for him, but we didn't notice him during the ceremony or reception. We had so many guests compliment him after the wedding. Saying how hard he worked (lying down on the ground to get the right angle), and how easy he was to talk to (for all the photography buffs at the wedding).

You can't go wrong with Paul, and I know my wife and I are beyond happy with everything he provided.

We met with three photographers (after being in touch with a bunch more) and Paul was a clear winner. He was excited, talented, and energetic. And he was interested in getting to know us as people, too! You can tell he loves what he does.

It's not often that you make sure your photographer can be at your wedding before you make sure your mom can, but that's exactly what we did! My husband had Paul secretly taking photos of our engagement in December and the question we heard after every "Congratulations!" was "Who took those amazing photos?!?"
So when we decided to elope in February, we set the date around when Paul was available. We were planning on getting married at City Hall, just the two of us with Paul documenting the moment, but when we told my parents they really wanted to come, so it ended up being a small group of friend and family gathering on the steps of City Hall.
Paul took photos there working with our crazy, last-minute, unplanned ceremony and impromptu "reception" in City Hall Park and making it look magical. He then indulged our plans to go to Shelburne Farms for portrait photos out on the frozen lake, trekking through thigh deep snow with enthusiasm! And I can't even describe how AMAZING the photos came out. Seriously, I don't know how he made us look so good, like something out of a magazine.
I really can't recommend him enough.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Paul leading up to and on our wedding day! I would 100% recommend Paul Reynolds Photography to anyone that is looking to hire someone who is clearly in love with his job. It truly shows in his work and the way in which he conducts his business. We really feel that he was determined to meet and surpass our every need, which he MORE than delivered on. At one point during our outdoor photo session, Paul trudged off the path into a deep snowbank just to get the shot he wanted! That is just one example of the many instances that we were really impressed by him. Our guests also had nothing but great things to say about Paul after the wedding. No matter how hard we tried, it always seemed like we were a step behind in planning the details of our wedding. Paul was able to work around our busy and fluid schedules. We began our discussion of the wedding day photography via email and then met on-site a week before the wedding. Paul was a great listener, but also provided invaluable insight and recommendations to help us through this important part of the wedding day.

Our wedding was truly magical. With so much happening, Paul did a miraculous job staying on top of our schedule and wrangling all the individuals and groups we identified in our photo list. He was there every step of the way, causally checking in when needed and capturing all the details, context, emotions, and people from the day.

Paul was quick with the turnaround and we were enjoying all the moments of our wedding just a few weeks after the big day. Paul's photographs truly captured the colors, warmth, texture, excitement, happiness, and vitality of the day. His photographs are interestingly composed, well lit and artistic - some are very quirky and candid and others more formal, but still relaxed and in the moment. Paul and his team were an awesome find. We wanted a clean but intimate look to the formal and candid photos of our wedding, and that's what drew us to Paul. He did a great job of working with us before the wedding so that the day of the wedding went smoothly. He and his team were the bomb. The way they worked was so comfortable, and I felt at ease the whole time they were there before the ceremony. I really appreciated the way they were there for everything but never felt in our face or changed what would would have done. The whole team had a really fun vibe but were professional the whole time. From our engagement photo shoot to the day of the wedding to the final images, Paul Reynolds was highly professional, easy to work with and displayed a fresh and unique approach to image-making.
He not only captured our best moments in fine style, but he remained unobtrusive throughout. None of that posing people for this or that stock image.
We wanted our wedding to be unique in almost every aspect, and Paul completely got it.
We initially hired him to do an engagement photo shoot and the results were fantastic. And like nothing we could have imagined. After seeing the results, we immediately booked him for our wedding and even the pre-wedding "welcome dinner". He got along well with all guests and family members and we have recommended his services to others since.

If you're searching for typical, predictable wedding photos then call up "Creative Touch" or "Precious Memories" or whatever bland, tired old name that old dude has come up with for his wedding business. I'm sure he's still in the yellow pages.

Paul Reynolds Photography was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. The quality of his work was unmatched by anyone else we considered to capture our special day.
Paul was a true professional throughout the whole wedding planning process. He took the time to meet with us before we booked to review his work and the packages he offered. He is a sincerely nice person and we had a great personal connection with him. We highly recommend having an engagement session. It was very fun and it gave us a chance to get to know Paul and him us (it helped make us more comfortable with him on our wedding day).
For the wedding photos, we gave Paul a list of the definite photos we wanted and he captured each one and we didn't even know he was there! Our album is absolutely phenomenal. We have never seen another one like it and family and friends rave about how amazing it is. We were married in the fall of 2011 and we just had our first child. Paul will be doing our son's baby photo session in a few weeks and we couldn't be more thrilled.

In summary, we believed that photography was one of the places we would invest because after the day is over, you're left with your memories and your photos. I cannot recommend Paul Reynolds Photography with greater enthusiasm! We chose Paul because of how comfortable he made us feel, and because of the superior emotional quality of his work (I remember viewing his photo gallery and getting tearful looking at the captured emotional moments of strangers -- that was impressive to me!). Right from the start of our planning process, Paul went out of his way to get to know me and my husband, how we "ticked" as a couple, and what was important to us on our special day. We hired Paul to photograph our wedding at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT. Throughout the planning Paul was responsive, attentive and professional. Paul Reynolds was great to work with for our wedding, and as an art director I had high expectations! He made the process super easy and his photos are stunning. I like that we were able to hire him with a second photographer, too, since our wedding guests totaled close to 200 people. We definitely got all the photos we wanted.

He also got photos to us in a timely manner after the wedding, sent us a sneak peek, and gave us a good deal considering he came from Vermont all the way to Stamford, Connecticut. You would not regret hiring him. Happy wedding planning!

My husband and I spent a long time trying to find a photographer for our wedding in Lake Placid, NY. When we first met with Paul, he had never been to that area but was willing to make the trip to photograph our wedding. He was very professional, but made us feel comfortable with him and his style from the get go. Great personality and vision which shows in all of his images. We were looking for someone to capture the spirit and details of the day, and less of a posed/staged images. He was able to give us both while keeping everything very natural looking. Working with Paul was like working with a friend, and for someone that's very camera shy that's an amazing thing to find. He took someone who's not very photogenic and I look at my pictures and feel more beautiful than ever.

Our experience with Paul could not have been better. I actually found him through his Facebook ad, which I normally don’t click on, but the photo he used was so nice I decided I’d take a look! After watching one of his slideshows I started tearing up and called downstairs to my fiance that I’d found our photographer! Fortunately for us he was available for our date.

Paul is incredibly talented as a photographer but he is also an excellent person and had a great calming presence on our busy day! I asked him MANY “how do you do this?” wedding questions because I was the clueless one and he’d been at so many weddings he was in the know! He did an excellent job of staying on schedule. We are so pleased with how our photos turned out and I have not tired of looking through all of them. He captured beautiful emotion and wonderful moments! Paul also did our engagement shoot and we had a good time getting to know him a little better before the wedding. Paul worked with us to create a photo package that fit for us. All in all we had a wonderful experience with Paul as our photographer and I recommend him 100%!

We found Paul on The Knot after our original photographer fell through just weeks before our wedding. It was the best thing that could have happened because we found Paul! Right from the start he was very attentive and responded quickly to every email. Even being from out of the area Paul made everything very easy and assuring. He arrived at the Lake Placid Lodge the day of our wedding well before the ceremony and met with each of us for individual pictures. During the ceremony we didn't notice that he was there, which is quite a feet in itself seeing as how we eloped. After the ceremony Paul spent an additional two hours with us taking pictures all over the property. We received our pictures about four weeks after the wedding and they are beautiful! We cant say enough great things about Paul and the pictures, they are truly a work of art.

Paul was incredible from beginning to end. I researched photographers for weeks looking for someone who could clearly handle his equipment in any situation, a photographer who captured all the moments and really understood the craft of photography. When I saw Paul’s website and work, I thought we had winner. Paul asked to meet with us as the wedding day was getting closer, and after meeting him, I knew he was our man. He had a very laid back attitude while being interested in us, our story and our expectations. He knew all the right questions to ask. He wanted to know what was important to us and why we had chosen him, who needed to be included in the portraits, and if there was anything else we wanted to see. He was accommodating to all our guests’ requests during the day, and got every shot we asked for and all the ones we didn’t know we wanted. Our guests (most of whom had been to several weddings that summer) kept coming up to us during the day and after, to tell us how great he was. After the ceremony Paul was near perfect with scheduled deadlines and the end result was unbelievable. The final USB dive came in a beautiful case with pictures from the wedding on it. As soon as we got it the mail, we had to order more for the family, it was that beautiful. Paul was everything we were looking for and we were both thrilled with his work. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Great Photographer

My husband and I highly recommend Paul for your wedding photography. We're not the type of people who normally write reviews, but Paul is not your typical photographer. Not only is Paul warm, professional and reliable, but he is a true artist with an amazing eye. From our first telephone conversation through the time we received our photos, Paul was terrific to work with. He has fantastic people skills, which put us, our friends, and family members all at ease while he captured beautiful portraits and candid photos. He took the time to meet with us and plan the day's photo activities in advance, tailoring them to our specific preferences and enabling us to relax on the wedding day. During the wedding he was always present but completely unobtrusive while he artfully captured our meaningful moments - when we did see him, he always had a friendly smile. Paul is a very easy going and pleasant photographer who was able to deliver on several key things for our wedding:

1) He was able to make my wife comfortable in front of the camera. I will preface by saying that we did an engagement session as well as the ceremony, which definitely helped to make our moment more comfortable on camera. He is very conscientious of what is working for the couple. He will move on quickly if something doesn’t feel right so as to avoid any shots feeling forced.

2) He’s unobtrusive, and rather ubiquitous, seeing the proofs, I couldn’t believe some of the shots he was able to obtain, and from unique angles!

3) He is also very spontaneous; our wedding experienced almost four seasons of weather in the two days he was at our event. If he had specific shots “planned” they were certainly washed away with the rain, mist and fog and then, thankfully, sunshine. He was able to deliver a portfolio that not only caught the moments but also the irony, humor and fun that occurred with the vast climate changes of our special day.

Paul was wonderful to work with. After our first meeting, it was clear that he is talented and passionate about his work. We were able to easily develop a plan for the day and he carried it out perfectly. The portraits were terrific and throughout the ceremony he took great shots without being intrusive. We couldn't have asked for better memories from our wedding day and Paul was able to capture all the excitement and joy we felt.
