Victor was an absolute blast and hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He’s high-energy, friendly, and truly knows how to get people off their seats and onto the dance floor. From the very first song to the last, the vibe never dipped.
His music library was incredibly easy to explore and research. We loved that he provided examples of songs commonly used at other weddings and highlighted the best options for every moment—our walk-in, cake cutting, fireworks show, and every special part of the night. It made planning feel fun instead of overwhelming.
The Zoom planning calls were another huge plus. They never felt rushed, and Victor genuinely took the time to understand what we wanted. It honestly felt like he was just as invested in making our wedding fun and unforgettable as we were.
Our guests are still talking about the music, the energy, and the photo booth—everything was top-notch. We would recommend Victor without hesitation to friends and family, and we’d absolutely use him again for future events beyond weddings.

Kendrie, the MC, was amazing - speaking both English and Spanish for our mixed family. Both Victor and Kendrie were extremely personable, lovely, and easy to communicate with. We had Victor from IKSounds DJ both our destination wedding in India and our local wedding in New Jersey, and I genuinely mean it when I say he carried the entire experiences!
From Sangeet to reception to our stateside wedding, the energy was always exactly right...He knows how to read a room so well. Like it never felt forced, never awkward, never a moment where the dance floor died. People who don’t dance were dancing..and that says everything!
What I appreciated the most is that it never felt like a generic wedding playlist. He really understood our vibe and blended everything so seamlessly. Different cultures, different crowds, different events and he made it all feel cohesive and personal to us. :)
Also just as a person he’s amazing to work with. Super responsive, flexible, and actually cares. That matters so much and he made everything feel easy.
If you want someone who will actually understand your vision and elevate your wedding instead of just playing songs, book Victor. No hesitation!

Victor was absolutely incredible from start to finish as our wedding DJ. He set up an amazing website where we could easily input all of our music choices and our full wedding timeline, which made planning so smooth. He also always scheduled meetings to walk us through everything and offer helpful tips and ideas we never would have thought of.
On the wedding day, Victor timed the ceremony music perfectly and made sure to touch base with us during cocktail hour to confirm our entrance, parent dances, and all the important moments. He and his entire team were on the ball the whole night. Our guests had an amazing time, the dance floor was packed, and the energy was exactly what we hoped for.

We hired IKSounds and Victor early in the year for our October 2025 Wedding. Victor politely had us on top of our game with providing all of the material and crazy ideas. Victor has worked professionally and closely with us not to leave any extra stress or mishaps for the last minute. At the event I thought we would be stressed but Victor had us covered. We did a multicultural wedding with music from different countries and genres and Victor handled it seamlessly. He is reactive with the crowd, super personable and everyone came up to us to tell us how great our DJ was. My family after the Wedding stated that any event going forward will only be done with Victor and IKSounds studio. We recently hired IKSounds for our wedding, and we could not be happier with the experience. Victor, the owner and DJ, along with his assistant Alan, went above and beyond to make the night unforgettable. From the very beginning, communication was smooth and professional. On the day of the event, everything flowed seamlessly.
Victor took the time to ask how involved we wanted him to be during the night—whether to stay behind the booth, engage a little, or be part of the party. We chose the most interactive option, and it was easily one of the best decisions we made. Victor brought an incredible energy to the dance floor. He’s not just a talented DJ with excellent transitions and song selections—he’s also a fantastic entertainer. His dance moves and enthusiasm helped break the ice early on and got guests of all ages out on the floor, creating such a fun and welcoming atmosphere that lasted the entire night.
Alan was equally amazing, handling all the announcements with ease and translating them into Cantonese for our non-English-speaking guests. This thoughtful touch made the evening inclusive and ensured everyone felt welcomed and involved.

If you’re looking for a DJ who will completely elevate your event, look no further than Victor James! From start to finish, he was absolutely amazing and such a joy to work with. Victor didn’t just show up and press play. He helped us create a smooth, stress-free timeline for the entire day, gave thoughtful advice from his years of experience, and kept everything flowing perfectly.
During the ceremony and reception, he was on point with every song choice, transition, and announcement. He read the crowd like a pro and had everyone, I mean EVERYONE, out on the dance floor. At one point, he started the longest conga line I’ve ever seen in my life, and it was legendary! The energy never dipped once.
Victor was attentive, organized, and incredibly easygoing, which made me feel so much more relaxed on a day that can easily get overwhelming. My guests could not stop raving about him and how much fun they had. He kept giving me credit for the playlist, but truly, he’s the one who made it all come to life.

We had the pleasure of working with Victor from IkSounds for our wedding on August 10th in Egg Harbor City, NJ, and he was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, Victor made the process so easy and personalized. He has a great system with a website where you can choose genres for each portion of the wedding or even pick out specific songs for every moment, which really helped us create the exact vibe we wanted.
Victor was also our MC, and he did an amazing job keeping the energy high and getting the crowd excited. Everyone had such a fun time, and he even helped hand out our party accessories like light-up foam sticks and funny glasses, which added to the celebration. Leading up to the wedding, we met twice on Zoom, and Victor was always engaged, professional, and prepared, which gave us so much peace of mind.

Victor was exactly what we needed for our reception. His job goes beyond playing music. He managed the overall flow of the day so guests were in the loop and comfortable. He checked in with us throughout the planning process and during our wedding to make sure we were happy as well.
We instantly clicked and he helped execute my vision perfectly. There were a couple moments in the planning process where I had doubts and changed my mind and he was very receptive. We found Victor and IKSounds via our venue, and from the moment we chatted with him we knew we were lucky to be talking to the DJ we would get for our special day - not just a salesman - but an actual DJ with loads of experience, a LOT of fun ideas, a super hard worker, willing to accommodate us on so many things, a straight shooter who made everything stress-free and who we would talk to so many times to plan our special day. Of course he delivered with flying colors. The fun was NONSTOP the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch, and so many of our guests commented on Victor, DJ Kenny, and his crew making it so much fun. There were too many bonuses to list here but Victor's planning tools made everything very easy and pretty much every other vendor relied on the timeline he helped us lay out, so that we felt confident with him running the show, especially since we didn't have a separate day-of coordinator. He also works with some expert musicians and helped us book them for our ceremony and cocktail hour, again with lots of rave reviews from our guests. We had the pleasure of having Victor DJ/MC our wedding in July 2025. We spent a lot of time researching DJs before deciding on Victor. If you are in the process of choosing your DJ we 100% recommend Victor.
PROS
- Victor was so very communicative. We had multiple meetings before our big day. During one of the earlier meetings he walked us through his event planning platform. This was a great tool and made the planning process so much easier. It helped us make sure we were covering all of our bases and gave us a way to clearly communicate our needs.
- Victor provided insights and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable and experienced
- We booked Drummers and wanted to have a specific song set for them to perform to. We asked Victor to put together a playlist off of songs we provided. It was 45 minutes of music and he completed it with great transitions and got it back to us the next day. We really appreciated how quickly he was able to get back to us.
- Victor kept our wedding on track and made sure to hit all of the items we had discussed. He spoke very clearly and all of the guests were able to understand his announcements. He also came by to check in on us multiple times. We had a last minute change I asked him to do during the wedding with very little notice. He understood and took care of it for us immediately.
- Victor brings the party! His energy and dedication to his craft is outstanding. He cares about your wedding as if he was one of your loved ones. He was on the dance floor hyping the crowd and encouraging guests to participate. It is very clear that he cares about the experience the guests have and the couple.

Victor is a phenomenal entertainer and he went above and beyond with the services he provided. He helped us plan every aspect of anything that had to do with music for our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, WWE entrances for our reception, and the reception itself) Victor was very involved and helped immensely on having the party go nonstop. We received so many compliments about him and IKSoundsEntertinment throughout the night, and we continue to hear those compliments to this day. Victor did an amazing job on reading the room and the vibes throughout the party and knew when to switch up the music and absolutely understood the assignment of the handheld country flags we had for our guests, and immediately represented his Jamaican heritage. Throughout the planning process, Victor allowed us to put as much input into the music for every event. He took the time out to learn how to pronounce every single person of our wedding party, was very open to our wish of having WWE themed entrances for our reception, took the time the time out to make a set list for the entrances with the correct timing and songs, and helped give us unforgettable moments with our first dances. We would absolutely recommend IKSoundsEntertainment for any occasion. Victor is very passionate about his profession and it clearly shows in his work. Booking IKSounds Entertainment was truly the best decision we made for our wedding! We booked both DJ services and the photobooth. From the very beginning, Victor was incredibly responsive (literally always responding to our emails and texts within five minutes) and made planning our music playlist so organized and effortless. He walked us through the schedule, gave us options for the timeline, and offered advice to make sure our multicultural families and guests would fully enjoy the dance floor.
Our wedding was yesterday, and we had to write this review immediately to share that all of our guests loved Victor as the MC! The photobooth was also a huge hit — there was a line for it the entire night!! Everyone said they absolutely loved the music!!!

We cannot recommend Victor enough as a DJ. From the initial meeting to the final song of the night, he was absolutely exceptional. His communication was seamless throughout the entire process from planning a year-out to any day-of updates. He listened to our vision, with organized questionnaires that allowed us to be as specific as we wanted for each and every moment. His provided curation of playlists and songs database were so helpful during the planning stages and allowed us to easily set the tone we wanted for the entire night. Even up to the very week of our wedding when other vendors had unexpected issues, Victor was flexible with additional features to our entertainment package when last minute requests were needed.
During the ceremony and cocktail hour, he provided the perfect ambiance, and when it came time for the reception, he consistently read the room and kept the energy high all night long. We particularly loved Victor's interaction with our guests on the dance floor—he led the line dances with such enthusiasm, making sure everyone stayed engaged, adapting with whoever was dancing throughout the night, and ensuring anyone and everyone was having a great time.
Even when faced with unexpected power outage at the very top of the reception, Victor handled the situation with such grace and competence that we didn’t even realize it happened before swiftly getting back on track. He truly is a professional and natural entertainer—transforming the night into an unforgettable experience for everyone. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the DJ was, and Victor kept the dance floor energy going until the very last song.
He made our night truly memorable, and we’re forever grateful for finding this gem of a vendor in IK Entertainment. When planning our wedding, a DJ who was friendly, easygoing, and would understand the vibe we wanted, was incredibly important to us. We knew we had songs that we wanted played during certain parts of the wedding but we weren't sure if we would be able to tailor our experience to fit our style and find someone who could engage the many guests of all ages at our wedding.
We had been in contact with a couple of DJs and met with another before meeting Victor. Our other options seemed fine, but when we met with Victor, he instantly helped ease all of our concerns and got us excited for the planning process. There was a noticeable difference in energy and excitement we were drawn to. We immediately loved his easygoing confidence that assured us that everything would be awesome and he would have it all taken care of. He was so great at explaining the different packages/add-ons as well different activities like bouquet toss, shoe game, garter toss (and enthusiastically re-explaining things to us when we forgot throughout the planning process lol) that you can choose to add to your evening festivities.
On the day of the wedding, Victor (along with Vladimir who was also so friendly and professional!) executed everything without a hitch. The music/entertainment, lighting, dancing on the clouds, cold and hand sparklers, photo wall (and more!) went so perfectly I didn’t have to think about it. Victor has a great eye for reading and engaging the crowd, as all of our guests were up and dancing throughout the night.
We had a mix of older songs and newer songs that we wanted played to appeal to our guests of all ages. Victor was great at deciding when songs should be played and all of our guests were so pleased with the music. He blended our requested songs with some other songs/transition songs perfectly to fit our vibe. Our older guests were dancing, our younger guests were dancing, everyone was happy. I even got a comment about how people were barely on their phones throughout the night as everyone was really present throughout the night.
Victor offers so many customizations to your experience that can be edited through his website forms which are super easy to use. On the forms, you can really tailor your experience by editing the timeline, adding activities and songs you want played, and so on. But if you are unsure about what you want, Victor can help guide you through the process and talk about the different options that you may want for your wedding. I liked being able to keep track of our music selections, timeline, and activities for the night. Victor is super meticulous so anything you write on there he will follow!
We changed our minds a lot throughout the process and Victor was so accommodating of that. We decided rather last minute that we didn’t want to do the dancing on the clouds for the first dance, but still wanted to use them. Victor suggested we use them during the mother-son dance as everyone else joined in and we thought it was a great idea and everyone was able to enjoy them. There was even some left for our cake cutting and I think it ended up looking so lovely. Another example is when, about ten minutes before I was supposed to throw my bouquet, I decided to give it to my mom. I was second-guessing my decision last minute, but Victor gave me a little pep talk in that moment and helped assure me in my decision to give it to my mom, which I am really glad I did because it was something I had been thinking about doing for a while and in the moment it just felt like the right thing to do. I was very grateful for Victor’s assuredness and confidence in that moment, as it was just what I needed.
Unrelated, but I also really enjoyed Victor’s suit jacket that he wore, as it was black and sparkly, which I thought looked super cool.

Best Dj We could have asked for
Victor was our DJ for our wedding on
June 8, 2024. Prior to the wedding he touched base with us multiple times to go over songs, timelines, any questions, etc. He was so helpful in even what questions we needed to double check with the venue with a memorial video we were showing. Day of wedding ....well do to unforseen circumstances we were delayed an hour even with all of that, Victor made sure to still keep us on schedule, kept touching base with my husband and I and still keep the party live.
He had EVERYONE on the dance floor, older, younger, friends, family. We had such a good time; we wish we had more time. There was nothing more we could have asked for, he went over and beyond. Turn Up O'clock with Victor
We booked our wedding DJ with very little information. We were engaged just before the pandemic hit and our plans were up in the air until just a few months before our small wedding. We originally wanted a band but they’re expensive and limited. We looked for someone with decent reviews with availability for our (extremely popular) date. Other than that, we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. We had a brief video chat meeting with our DJ, Victor, prior to the event. I like to think we were generally easy and skipped a lot of the typical wedding formalities. He was pleasant and went through all of our requests to make sure he knew the vibe we were going for. To say that he absolutely killed it would be an understatement. Once the dance floor was officially open, we never stopped dancing.. literally. All of our guests said the same thing. Every time someone wanted to take a break they were pulled back to the floor with the next banger. We had asked Victor to only get involved if the crowd really needed it. He totally respected that but was still very much a part of the party without being intrusive. He checked in with us to make sure requests were approved if he felt iffy about whether we’d be okay with them. Truly, we could have kept going all night. Victor was excellent!!
First and foremost, his amazing energy through out this whole experience made our wedding extra special. He communicated with us all expectations and planned our playlist for most of the evening. He even remixed our wedding song to make it our own! He provided gorgeous up-lights and an awesome photo-booth with digital copies of all pics of the night.
