  Literally our favorite vendor!!

  Working with Patrick and the rest of our string quartet was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From beginning to end, Patrick was responsive, professional, and just an absolute dream to work with! The day of our wedding (ceremony and cocktail hour planned for outdoors), there were crazy winds that could have impacted our plan. Patrick adjusted on the fly, no questions asked (literally, I didn't even have the chance to say hello to Patrick until he and the team were packing up; at that point they just fit in so well with the group, going with the flow and adjusting as they needed). They were our easiest vendor to work with, everyone raved about the music (the kids recognized some of the pop songs and LOVED it!)... is it appropriate to have a string quartet at every event I plan ever?! Seriously - thank you Patrick!! We loved having you at our wedding, and will absolutely be shouting from the rooftops about how glad we were to have worked with you!!

  Lovely ensemble for intimate wedding

  We had a small wedding with 60 guests in the art gallery of a restored theatre. The musicians were in the back of the room, played prior to the ceremony, selections for the ceremony and during the reception. They were excellent. Patrick was so easy to work with and pointed out things we didn’t know. Guests are still talking about them!

  Wedding 2023

  Patrick and his crew did an excellent job for us with a string trio (violin, viola, and cello) for our wedding last May. They had a very extensive repertoire of songs including both classic and modern and even went as far as learning additional songs for us at no additional charge. Ibis was professional and reached out ahead of time to set up a song list and worked with me and my wife periodically during planning to get everything established. The crowd absolutely loved their version of the game of thrones theme song as well as Closer by the chainsmokers and they had everybody laughing. They also learned Can you Feel the Love Tonight for our first dance as well as How to Save a Life (my wife's favorite song). I would highly recommend their services for any wedding or large event. Very reasonable pricing which was significantly lower (~30 percent) than competitors at the time.

  Patrick and Ibis Music Group are wonderful!

  Patrick and his group were amazing! My dad found them on his search for a string quartet. Patrick was very responsive and patient as my family and I had many personal requests, custom arrangements, and other special things we wanted to incorporate on the day of. They sounded beautiful as they played for my ceremony and cocktail hour. Highly recommend!

  Ibis was awesome!

  Patrick was great to communicate with and helped us put together a list of ceremony songs. They have a great repertoire already but they were also able to do a custom arrangement for a song that we really wanted to be part of the ceremony. The ensemble played everything beautifully throughout and all our guests loved it! Would definitely recommend

I have had so many guests tell me how much they loved their music. Their repertoire list was fantastic and had so much to choose from.   Incredible Ceremony Musicians

  I found Ibis Music Group after a quick Google search for string quartets in the Charlottesville area. Patrick was extremely responsive and informative and while the Ibis catalog is already extensive, my wife and I (who are huge Taylor Swift fans) wanted two of her songs arranged for our ceremony. Patrick was very communicative and arranged both songs absolutely beautifully. He and his team were professional and also very flexible, as we had to push back our ceremony time a bit last-minute. We are so incredibly happy with the way our ceremony music turned out and I would recommend Ibis Music Group to any couples who want to add string music to their ceremony.

  Magical Music

  Ibis Music created a magical atmosphere for our May wedding in Virginia. They sounded amazing during the prelude, ceremony processional/recessional, and cocktail hour. Not only was the music wonderful and the perfect backdrop for the event, they were also wonderful to work with. Patrick was so kind and made wedding planning so easy. He was flexible, easy to reach, thoughtful, and an incredible musician. I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without them!!

  We'll be booking Patrick for our upcoming wedding on 10/10/21. I'm writing this review because I think he's been FANTASTIC to communicate with and has been incredibly responsive, flexible, and accommodating. He had his group (in masks, no less!) record one of the songs on our requested set list so we could preview their sound. They were great! Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend him and really look forward to working with him at our upcoming wedding! (And will post another review after that as well.)

  Accommodating and highly skilled!

Additionally, he got creative in working with me to stay within a tight budget, while also trying to fulfill my vision for music for the evening. I'm planning my own wedding without a professional planner, and his communication has put me at ease the whole time. So very excited to have them play at our big day!

  We hired a duet to play at our outdoor vineyard wedding in September. We had really loved the idea of having string instruments on-site to give our ceremony that extra special touch, and oh my did they not disappoint! We are so grateful we decided to hire strings musicians- it really did elevate the emotions and the ambiance during our ceremony! Patrick was very communicative throughout the process, both by phone and by e-mail. He made sure to gather a clear idea of what my vision was for the ceremony and which songs I wanted to hear. I was even able to add a song that was not on the list of available songs on the website. On the day of the wedding, guests raved about how beautiful the music was when they arrived to the venue and took their seats. The musicians were professional and very talented. When I started my walk down the aisle, the duet played "A Thousand Years." It was a moment I will never forget! The music throughout the ceremony was beautiful and again just really elevated the entire experience. I highly recommend hiring this music group! You will not be disappointed. :)

  Wonderful music with flexible set list

  Patrick was great to work with for my June 2021 wedding! The pricing structure was straight forward. He went through the song list with me and my fiance to pick out ceremony songs that would match the look and feel of our wedding. We got so many compliments afterwards, both from guests and another vendor. So glad we chose Patrick!

  Patrick was amazing! his work ethic displayed from our first interaction. He responded to my inquiry within hours which was the quickest response I had gotten from any of the other vendors I reached out to. On my wedding day, our services were running late but Patrick and his team were understanding and flexible. They honestly made our small intimate event seem larger than life. Also, I had Patrick compose a special song for my wife. He blew our socks off with his musical talent. Every note played by the trio was beautifully done. He has a very diverse music catalog enough for everyone to enjoy a gem. He and his team were amazing! I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks again Patrick.
