Jim was wonderful and a pleasure to work with! Not only did he make every effort to get to know the groom and myself before the ceremony but he felt like he was a part of the family the day-of. He gave me some great advice regarding preparation details & how to conduct the ceremony and I'm so thankful that he did! I would highly recommend working with him for your special occasion!

Reverend James did an amazing job. We called him on a Wednesday afternoon & asked if he could marry us that day. He agreed and made the entire process simple, short & sweet- exactly what we asked for. I would definitely recommend him! We will be using him for our big wedding in the next year or so :).

My husband and I were married by James Kefford on April 8th 2013. We first got in contact with Jim via email on March 25th. Our wedding was being planned within a few weeks, and we needed to find someone soon. Jim replied that same day saying that he could marry us, so we were very excited to get things going. We talked on Skype and actually set up everything over email and the single Skype conversation together. We first met on our wedding day, and we just knew that Jim would be the perfect person to marry us. His calm and friendly demeanor were just what we needed as we whirl-winded our wedding together in a matter of weeks. Without Jim's dedication and professionalism this would not have been possible! We can't thank him enough for helping make our very special day go so smoothly!

I am very grateful you officiated our wedding on the very special day of our life. Your professionalism and dedication to Jessica and Zach’s marriage has been superb. We got so much more than we expected from your services. From the extensive interview with Jessica and Zach, ceremony rehearsal, and wedding day, everything was a great success.

The things that impressed me the most with your services was how you handled our concerns. Starting with our no show of the Groom at the rehearsal to our late start of the ceremony, you were right there to calm the fears of myself and the bride. In the end the ceremony was a complete success and everyone praised the special day.

I cannot say enough great things about " I Do Weddings" in particular James Kefford!!!! He made us feel so relaxed and calm.. He was extremely reliable, and prompt on all meetings, emails, phone calls.. just made this whole process go very smooth!!! Many of our guests commented on how awesome he was.. We had a mic problem with our DJ and you wouldn't have known it, Jim just spoke up and walked us though everything with ease :) I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone... He's the BEST!!!!!

Jim was the answer to our prayers when it came to our Sons wedding. We are from Nebraska and my Husband had a conference in Palm Springs at the beautiful JW Marriott resort. I found his website and called him the Saturday before we were to leave. I thought, what are the chances on such short notice we could arrange a wedding for my Son. Jim called me back within the hour and I explained how Jake is a Marine stationed in Oceanside and we were hoping to plan a simple wedding the following Saturday. In his very calm, reassuring voice he said "not a problem, we will make it happen". I can't tell you what this meant to me. I knew I had handed over all my worries to the kindest, most capable person. He kept in touch by email thru the week and I called him when we landed. It was so wonderful to finally meet him in person. The wedding was beautiful and intimate. You would have thought he had know our family for years with the wonderful ceremony he gave the kids. The gondola ride at the resort was the ultimate icing on the cake! Our experience with Jim, the JW Marriott and Palm Desert in general were above all expectations we could ever dream of ! As a mother of a Military Son you learn to go with the flow which is sometimes very hard. Jim truely made this journey a special one and we will forever hold him dear in our hearts.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Jim was very pleasant, professional, responsive and knowledgeable. The ceremony was so touching and beautiful, his words expressed our love so perfectly. We never imagined such an intimate, personal, beautiful wedding ceremony from someone who didn't know us! Jim Kefford was absolutely superb and I would definitely recommend him. We came to California from the UK to get married in Temecula's wine region, all arrangemnets with Jim were made via email prior to our arrival and he was excellent. He helped us with all of the legal side of the marriage ensuring we had all the correct paperwork and he helped us to design the exact ceremony we wanted. He was an absolute star and we honestly couldn't of had the perfect wedding without him!

Jim married us in Indio, CA on November 10th 2012. From our first meeting with Jim we felt completely comfortable, so comfortable we paid him upfront in full for his services. He gave us complete control of our ceremony and also helped us with our own vows. Jim walked us through our entire rehearsal within an hour laying out the ceremony completely. He has an amazing voice and my guests commented on how organized he was. Jim also took care of all the paperwork for us which was awesome. Working with Jim was a breeze! We feel so blessed he was part of our beautiful day :)

Jim met with me several times and was always following up via email with drafts of our ceremony. He provided plenty of help and ideas to tailor the ceremony to us. He had wonderful ideas that we incorporated into our ceremony. He is quick to follow up with the legal requirements and provides very detailed, fool proof instructions on getting your license and preparing to get your wedding certificates. My certificates arrived just 3 weeks after the ceremony. I can't say enough great things about Jim. I was so happy he performed our ceremony.

Jim was great! We live in Minnesota and met with him over Skype. He got to know us so well that when we got the ceremony it was like he had known us for years. He created an experience that was fun, romantic and better then we could have expected. You can tell he has passion and a huge heart.

Being an International Bride (planning our wedding from Canada) we could not have asked for a better Officiant. Not only did he respond right away to emails and questions, he helped us with all the details of obtaining a licence and organizing the mailing of our Marriage Certificate. He was fantastic our guests loved him and I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

James (Jim) Kefford was amazing as our wedding officiant!

Initially my fiance and I were hesitant to book someone we didn't know, especially someone online, but after reading the reviews from previous brides and grooms, and after meeting Jim in person, we were sure we wanted him to perform as our officiant.

Jim was timely in getting back to us throughout the months before the wedding. He went over the readings, our vows and certain aspects of the ceremony.
At wedding rehearsal, Jim was there early to meet everyone and got all the marriage license/certification forms taken care of right away. During wedding rehearsal, he also spent time to go through the whole ceremony with the bridal party (which helped immensely!).
The day of, Jim performed the ceremony smoothly and confidently. With over 150 guests Jim's voice could be heard by everyone at the ceremony. Many of my guests complimented our choice of officiant. Jim is not only a great officiant with a booming voice, but he's also a very kind and caring person.
I definitely recommend him as a wedding officiant!

We did everything over the phone and through email and I couldn't be happier with the results. My husband and I have attended two other weddings this year and the officiant was unprepared and it really showed. Jim Kefford made it seem like he knew us. Not only was he incredibly professional and thorough but he also has a warmth about him that is truly genuine. He also managed (somehow) to calm my shattered nerves and bring me back to focus on the importance of the day- my groom. :) You can't go wrong choosing Jim Kefford and I would gladly recommend him to any couple.

Jim was terrific. He was responsive and thoughtful and made sure that our wedding was just perfect. When I first reached out to him, he was traveling on a family vacation but still responded immediately with a wonderful introduction and simpe explanation for how everything worked. We were getting married at LaQuinta but live in NC and he walked us through all the legalities and even helped with recommendations for flowers, cake, etc.

We had a very simple ceremony with only a few family members and Jim impressed us all. The words that he chose for our service were just right and I can't thank him enough for how easy he made everything. There is always a lot of details in any wedding, and Jim made this part effortless. I would highly recommend Jim and I Do Weddings to anyone that is looking for a wedding officiant no matter how simple or elaborate your wedding plans are. You won't be disappointed!

I was particularly impressed regarding the vows. I didn't want certain words to be used and our Officiant made sure he incorporated other verbiage which meant the same and just as meaningful.

Reverend James Kefford was an amazing man to officiate our wedding. We met with him just a few times before our big day but he was so personable and down to earth that it felt like he was our Reverend for many years. He really took the time to ask us questions about how we wanted our ceremony to go. He would even ask about such small details that I would have never thought to ask, such as what color robe he should wear. He delivered the exact ceremony my husband and I wanted, expected and dreamed of. My dad threw in some curve balls when walking me down the aisle, my husband is a cop and my dad has us handcuffed together. This wasn't in the plan but Reverend Kefford just rolled with it beautifully. He is truly the man you want for such and important role on the most important day.

Not too many brides look back on their wedding day and think "Gosh my favorite moment of that day was by far our ceremony" but I am definately one of those brides.. all thanks to Jim. He is such a pleasure to work with!!! So supportive and encouraging. He sits down and gets to know you as a couple, listened to the vision we had of our day and then custom created our ceremony. It was absolutely perfect!!!! Whatever we needed he was there to guide us through, from writing our vows, to the documents we needed, and shipping processes for our wedding certificates. This was a destination wedding for us, so we did everything via email. Jim made us feel like he was just down the street ready to assist at any moment. I would highly highly highly without a doubt in my mind HIGHLY recommend Jim. Our day wouldnt be the same without him!!!

Suggestion though to all brides: Put the effort into your ceremony. Think about what makes you two as a couple special. Think about your family and friends and include them in your ceremony, its their love and support that brings you all together that day. Jim is amazing and works with you completely on what you want to do, but alot of the beautiful moments in our day was the personal touches. Jim has great ideas and suggestions and Im positive all his ceremonies are fantastic, but really working with Jim and personalizing it, adding in personal moments, made ours BRILLIANT

We highly recommend James Kefford. for any wedding ceremony. He is professional but still laid back. He presented us with a great ceremony and was willing to take any and all notes that we gave him. We were able to make our wedding very personal but still traditional at the same time. He gave clear direction at the rehearsal and it really helped to calm my nerves about the whole thing. Everyone loved him at our wedding and we are so happy that it worked out so well. Thank you so much Jim for being there when we needed you!

I cannot express enough what a pleasure it was to work with James. He made us feel listened to and contributed ideas specific to our needs. He came up with a ceremony that I am still getting messages about how special and intimate it was. He has a great, warm presence, excellent speaking voice and is a top notch professional in handling all officiant services, responding quickly to any questions I had. I would not hesitate to reccomend him to my nearest and dearest. In the midst of chaotic wedding planning this was one area that made my life easier and I knew I could rest easy in good hands. You can tell he loves what he does too which meant a lot to us as well. :)

Jim was fantastic all around. He was very approachable and professional. Since my husband and I are from St. Louis, we had to deal with all of the wedding plans long distance. Jim handled the long distance issue perfectly and always got right back to us with answers whether it was through skyppe, phone or email. Jim was very quick to get us a first draft of our ceremony and made changes easily according to what we desired. Jim has a great sense of humor as well, so he kept us at ease throughout the process. We planned our wedding in Rancho Mirage and we live in O.C so there's some distance which made wedding planning a little difficult. We had to trust people's judgement on Venders and hope they were accurate!
We were very nervous to use an officiant that we didn't know and had no "connection" to and we thought since this would be the guy who married us we should have some kind of relationship to him. We set up a meeting to met with Jim and at that time all out feeling about that changed!!!!! He was extremely nice...
I bugged him over and over I'm sure with all my emails lol but we was always quick to reply and was always friendly, helpful, and professional.
The day of our wedding he was great and I will definitely refer him to others. If you need a great guy to Marry you .. I would def set up a meeting and talk with Jim :)

Jim was very flexible in meeting our needs since we planned our wedding from out of state. He provided some great ideas that we incorporated into our ceremony that really made it feel special and personalized. Jim's voice is clear and loud which made it easy for people to hear outdoors without any microphones. He made eye contact with us during the ceremony and made us feel comfortable in a formal setting.

Jim Kefford was absolutley superb! I cannot recommend him enough. We came to temecula to get married from the UK, Jim helped us to organise all of our paperwork to ensure the wedding was legal! I honestly don't think we could of done it all without his help because we didn't know where to start! On the day he was really supportive and helped put our nerves at ease. All of our organisation was done via email from the UK so it was so good to know he was there to help at the US end. I would recommmend him to any couples getting married in the South California region! El & Liam Byrne

WOW, What an amazing experience. My partner and I have been together for 10 years living in Phoenix for the last 8 of those years. When we heard that we could get married in California, we jumped at the chance. We wanted to get married in Palm Springs and we had no idea where we could get married. So we booked a hotel and drove out on a Friday afternoon. We were going to get married at the place where we got our license, but my partner said that he did not want to remember the recorders office in Indio as the place that we got married. So our friend and witness that was with us got in touch with James Kifford. He was amazing. In one afternoon while driving to Palm Springs, James took care of all our needs. By 4 PM that day we were on a little boat dock over looking this amazing resort style lake on 64 acres. James put together an amazing ceremony and made our day so very special. Our vows were just what we wanted. We are so happy with our experience. Thanks to the ruling by our supreme courts, we can now be married in California and feel like we are treated as equals. We are now looking to move back home to California where we belong.

Jim was extremely helpful an informative from the very beginning of our process through following up on making sure we knew what to do to get our marriage certificates after our wedding was finished. He spent a lot of time making sure our ceremony was perfect for us and our family. We had a very small wedding and everyone complimented us on how beautiful the ceremony was. We planned a destination wedding and he even went above and beyond to recommend other vendors for our special day. We couldn't have been more thrilled with our selection of Jim as our offiiant.

Jim was willing to accommodate our wishes with ease and thoughtfulness. He provided a warm, sincere and touching ceremony. We had a short elopement ceremony but Jim made it memorable and personal by allowing us to incorporate readings and our own vows. He was great.

This is the letter I wrote to Jim, the day after my daughter's wedding...it says it all:
Jim,
I loved every single minute of the service for The new Mr. And Mrs. Stash Karandanis....it was everything I had hoped my daughter's wedding would be. You incorporated every bit of the two of them, our two families, and two cultures with warmth, humor, tradition, and prayer.
Thank you. I wish you had stayed for the reception so you could have heard the compliments....everyone said it was the most fun wedding ceremony they had ever attended.
I am so happy that you will be part of our next celebration. My son, Will was so impressed with
your few words and how much they spoke he approached you immediately after his sister Allison's ceremony and asked you to perform he and his fiancé Brittany's wedding in August.
You are truly the best.

Kefford AKA Keff was the most attentive and caring person we could have chosen to marry us. He did an excellent job of tailoring our ceremony to my wife, my and our bridal parties belief systems. He was both witty and profound in his delivery. He provided just the right amount of levity to keep me and my wife from becoming overwhelmed by the enormity of the situation. I give him the highest possible recommendation and I feel this falls short. He truly created a personalized ceremony that contributed to the overall success of the evening. Thank You Keff for everything you did for us. When it comes to people you want involved with your wedding you can't do any better.

Rev. James Kefford (Jim) was the officiant for our wedding, I cannot say enough nice things about him! He was wonderful from the very beginning, meeting with us to go over the type of service we'd like and I instantly felt at ease. He also helped us create a custom ceremony and added many special touches. Jim advised us on the procedure for obtaining our marriage license and made everything super easy. Our ceremony was beautiful, my guests all commented on what a great job he did! And during the ceremony Rev. Jim helped calm our nerves and guide us through our vows, etc. If you are getting married in the Coachella Valley give him a call, you'll be happy you did!!!

James was a pleasure to work with! He was very flexible, easy to contact & provided us with structure & assistance we needed to prepare our wedding ceremony as we envisioned. He kept us on track as we had a shorter time frame in planning our small destination wedding. He personalized our ceremony as if we had met in person & worked with each other awhile! He was very professional & I especially appreciated him wearing purple to match our decor! We were VERY pleased with our officiant/minister, Jim Kefford. We would highly recommend him!!! He is easy to talk with and cared about what kind of ceremony we wanted not what kind he thought we should have:) He asked us questions about our relationship/background and incorporated them into the ceremony. When he gave us a "rough draft" of what was going to be said, we read over it and it was perfect, there was not a thing that we changed!!! He was very professional, organized and efficient!!!! Great job:)

Very good officiant. Had a scheduling issue which we had to work around due to poor communication on both sides, but everything worked out great.

rev james kefford, is personable, witty, has an excellent way in how he delivers his message: he was prompt, professional, sensitive, and was very sensitive in letting the bride and groom guide how they wanted things also
