Is there a way to give more than 5 stars for everything?!
I can not thank Chris and his team enough for all that they did at my wedding!! They not only had the most amazing food that all of my guests and my husband and I absolutely loved, but they were also so beyond professional and they stayed longer than they were supposed to to help a very stressed bride navigate the rest of her night! Things went a little crazy for me and Chris and his team immediately stepped up and offered to stay longer and help me with my cake cutting and to make sure the rest of our night went smoothly! So many people were going back for seconds and thirds of the food because it was just that good!! Chris personally made sure to set aside some takeout boxes of leftovers for my husband and I to make sure we had stuff to take home with us after our wedding because we didn’t get to sit down and eat much and it was even better when we took it home with us!! Chris was SO professional when emailing with me and chatting on the phone! He made sure that we had all the fixins and options for our taco bar which was hands down the best taco bar I’ve ever experienced! All of our cocktail hour snacks were such a hit that they were gone before we even made our grand entrance!! I truly wish I could brag to everyone about I Do Catering and everything they pulled off for us!!

Chris and his team were amazing! His communication and readiness to help were top tier. My husband and a few of our guests have a gluten allergy/sensitivity. Chris made sure that our food selections were safe and delicious for everyone. Chris also made sure we had a menu to stayed within our budget as well! The quality of food was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone! -

It’s honestly hard to put into words the level of service Chris and his team at I Do Artistic Catering gave us on our wedding day. From the very first message I sent Chris, I knew I was talking to someone who truly cares—not just about the food (which is unbelievable), but about the entire experience. This is not your typical wedding catering.
Chris and his team went above and beyond at every single stage of the planning process. They anticipated needs before we even knew we had them, made everything feel easy and stress-free, and treated our day with the kind of attention and passion you’d expect from family.
The food was exceptional, the service was flawless, and the heart they put into their work made such a difference. We are genuinely grateful, and we cannot recommend I Do Artistic Catering enough.

Catering gone right!!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Chris and his team at I Do Artistic Catering for my daughter’s wedding, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! From the initial consultation to the final course, every aspect of the catering experience was exceptional.
Chris was incredibly accommodating, taking the time to understand our vision and preferences, and offering valuable suggestions that enhanced our menu. The culinary team prepared a stunning and delicious array of dishes that not only satisfied all our guests' tastes but also beautifully complemented the wedding's theme.
The presentation of the food was nothing short of artistic – each dish was thoughtfully arranged, creating a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted!
Moreover, the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff made everything run smoothly. They were friendly, efficient, and ensured that all our needs were met throughout the evening.

10/10 wonderful company!
We used I Do Artistic Catering for our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! The food was delicious—every single guest was raving about how good everything was. They went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the night, which meant so much to us.
The team was incredibly professional, organized, and so easy to work with from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Truly a 10/10 experience all around. I would recommend them to any couple looking for delicious food and top-notch service on their wedding day! -

Fabulous meal
Chris and his team were absolutely amazing !! It was really an easy decision to make when it was time for booking a caterer for our daughter's wedding. Daughter's Wedding
When I was looking for a caterer I did not reach out to them at first being they didn't show up on my list of caterers but I wish they would have. They were very responsive, communicative and left me feeling like I didn't have anything to worry about even when my check never made it to them, they called and we met for i could pay got to love our postal service. The day of they came in set up served, cleaned up and you wouldn't of known they were there if you didn't see them. I'm very Thankful that I choose them for her special day they helped everything come together perfectly. The food was amazing also!!!1 -

Fall wedding 2024
I was referred to I do Artistic Catering from our baker for our wedding. We had a a hard time finding someone who was not only reasonably priced but also someone who listened to our vision. Chris and his entire team far surpassed any expectations we had. He was definitely one of if not the easiest vendors to work with. He planned well and it showed in his execution from cocktail hour to the reception all the way down to packing us plenty of food to take with us at the end of the night. Our guests talked about his food and the grazing station he set up for weeks after the wedding. There is really just not enough great things to say about this company. I’d choose them in a heartbeat for any catering needs in the future! -

Outstanding food and service!
Chris and his team were incredible! The food was amazing and all the guest raved about the shrimp and grits. We didn’t have to worry about anything catering wise, and even were served immediately after sitting down after our first dance. I Do Artistic Catering catered my wedding in February and I (and everyone at the wedding) were blown away by their service and quality of food! Working with the owner, Chris, is any future bride's dream! He was so flexible with providing different food options, worked really well to stay within my budget, and had great communication with me throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, his team was set up and ready to go on time and did such a great and efficient job facilitating the food line for all of the guests! Many people told me after the wedding how much they enjoyed the food! If you are thinking of a caterer for your wedding or event, I would absolutely recommend this company! -

Best food and company ever!!!! You’ll want the recipes trust me.
I could not have been happier with how everything turned out! The entire staff was amazing and everyone was talking about the flavor of the food and how good it was. Chris was awesome and knew exactly what I was wanting/needing and I just wish I could have gotten the recipe for the sliders because they went so fast and were so good. I have 3 more children and if and when they get married I will use I do for all of them!!! Thank you guys for all you have done. We had chicken tenders, sliders, Mac n cheese and the best mashed potatoes bar with croutons and veggies and it was all awesome!!!!! -

I couldn't have been more delighted with the exceptional service provided by I Do Artistic Catering for my daughter's wedding reception. My daughter's wedding
Chris and his team made this experience so incredibly easy. From the beginning to the end, Chris was not only accommodating, but willing to make excellent recommendations when needed. The food choices allowed us to put together a meal that suited all, but the kicker was the quality of the food. I had so many people come up to me later and just rave about the shrimp and grits. The best they had ever had. Every item from the prime rib to the desert had five star reviews in my opinion. I would say that if you have the opportunity to use "I Do Artistic Catering" for your event, that you will not regret it. -

I really don’t think I will ever use another caterer besides I Do Artistic Catering.
My wedding was 11/5/22 and this team went above and beyond what I imagined to make everything perfect. Chris made the process so easy and I really felt like the whole team was a part of my family.

The Absolute Best Around
I Do Artistic Catering is absolutely incredible! Chris is so accommodating and super fast at responding. We honestly could not have asked for a better caterer. We got married in Charleston, our hometown, but lived in Atlanta during the wedding planning. Chris was very accommodating when it came to a food tasting and didn't charge us an insane amount like many others to sample his food. The entire time leading up to the event we felt safe and secure with Chris leading. When the big day finally came, Chris and his staff made our event absolutely magical. ALL of our guests talked about how delicious the food was. When you book them, you can rest easy knowing you've got the best service at the best price in all of Charleston! -

I don’t have enough great things to say about this caterer and his staff. From the first meeting and to our big day Chris and his team were amazing. I’ve never used a professional caterer before and I relied a lot on his expertise. I gave him the vibe and concept that we wanted for our wedding and he and his staff exceeded our every expectation. They made this part of our wedding and reception a breeze and I can’t thank him and his team enough for their roles in making our wedding truly magical and the best day ever. There is no one else I would ever consider in the future for any event I may have a caterer for. The food was AMAZING, presentation was great, the price was very reasonable and the way they took care of us and our guest was top notch! -

Fantastic true southern cooking
Chris was a true class act. From the tasting until the doors closed, we could not have asked for a better person in charge of our catering. He has a true knack for cooking and customer service. The Mac and cheese and shrimp & grits got raving reviews from friends/family. -

So very pleased!
From the very first meeting - Chris was exactly what we needed. He was willing and able to provide exactly what we wanted and even came up with some additional suggestions to perfect the event! He was always available to discuss our questions and was always nice and professional. No issue was too small! The setup and station presentations were great. His staff was very friendly and professional to our guest!! And the best of it was the food - so very very delicious! We are so very pleased! Thank you Chris for being exactly what we needed! -

Chris and his team were the very best! The booking process was smooth and easy. Where do I start..... Chris and his team with I Do Artistic Catering were HANDS DOWN the absolute best people and service I have ever met/received. From the start, Chris was so helpful and SO easy to work with. Even when I started to get nervous about everything, he kept reassuring me everything was going to be perfect and it absolutely was. His staff was incredible; from their customer service all the way to staying late and helping all of us clean up after the party was over. His bartenders were on point and SO freaking nice. THE FOOD....... there are no words for how amazing his food is and was. We had 3 stations and appetizers: shrimp and grits, prime rib, pasta, meatballs, fruit, and tomato/mozz skewers and let me tell you that there was almost NOTHING left. All of my guests kept coming to me throughout the night telling me how incredible his food tasted. I even had friends from out of town ask me for his name and number so that they could contact him for their wedding! Him and his crew do not get enough credit for the food and service they provide. His food is great, his staff is amazing, and he is so affordable! I couldn't imagine using anyone else on my wedding day and I will be a client for life with any other event that I host. Chris and staff, thank you for everything and for making my wedding and absolute dream! -

Hire a caterer that makes your event fun and easy to plan. I Do Artistic Catering was wonderful and we received so many compliments on their food. Caterer to the Rescue
Chris and his team were nothing short of amazing! The food was delicious and everyone raved about the pork tenderloin and the meatballs. I had a huge increase in the number of attendees and Chris was quick to give me two options that could accommodate both amount of guests and our budget! We used his bartender services as well and he was very knowledgeable in “signature drinks” and the do’s and dont’s of having an open bar. I Do Catering did all the food for my October 2018 wedding and I couldn't have been happier! I went through about 8 different caterers during the planning process and wasn't happy with a single one. By the grace of God I found I Do Catering only a few weeks before my wedding and Chris saved the day, truly! My guests LOVED the food and they were so accommodating to my specific menu requests. Working with Chris was so easy and he brought my bride stress level down 100 notches. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them in the future for events!!!! -

My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary recently. Chris and his crew from Artistic Catering did a fantastic job for us. Everything was perfect! The buffet was everything we had planned, delicious and hot. Italian chicken, green beans, mac and cheese, baked ham, rolls. The fruit cascade and shrimp cocktails were beautiful, impressive, and different. Several people asked who had done our catering and we gave glowing recommendations. All the leftovers were packaged in foil pans and refrigerated as they cleaned up. Everything rewarmed and tasted as fresh as that night. What we couldn't use right away we froze and used later. The entire area they used was left pristine, maybe even neater than they found it!

We LOVED Chris and his team! He was so kind and responsive through the process, and his food was SO delicious that my husband and I both got seconds! We chose I Do Artistic Catering for our wedding reception. They had a variety of menus to choose from and will do everything they can to accommodate your budget and would even provide a custom menu for you. The food was fantastic, they kept the tables cleared, always checked with the guests to see if there was anything else that they needed. We got married on Memorial Day weekend at Medicine Wind Farm and we were going for a rustic Southern style wedding. My husband is from North Carolina and loves his Barbeque. Our planner Felita Pinckney suggested Chris and we were stoked to find out from our venue manager Jamie Roman that she and Chris have previously worked together for events. It is always great to know the caterer knows the venue and they trust each other’s work. Chris opened up his house for us for a tasting and it was outstanding! His Mac and Cheese is SO good! Y’all, we actually ate at our own wedding because we didn’t want to miss it. What I love about Chris and his business is how much he cares and how much love he pours into his cooking. He even makes sure to put to go boxes aside for Bride & Groom so they can eat after the event. That’s so thoughtful! We had last minute drop outs the week leading up to the wedding and even some No Shows - but the food was completely gone! It was simply delicious. Our wedding was featured on Southern Bride’s Real Weddings and I am so excited for our vendors. They truly deserve it! -

Chris and his staff were absolutely amazing!! They went above and beyond to ensure all the food was hot and fresh for my wedding, not only that but it was the best BBQ and chicken I've ever had!! He was a pleasure to work with, he treated me like I was family and that always makes me feel comfortable because I know everything will get taken care of!! I highly recommend I Do Artistic Catering to anyone whether it be a wedding, birthday or office party!! -

My husband and I booked with Chris for our wedding this past October, and we couldn't have been more pleased! Chris was very helpful with details you wouldn't even think of! He was willing to meet and talk whenever we needed to and run through all of the details. The food was phenomenal and our guests are still talking about the mashed potato bar! The service Chris and his staff provided was just as great as the food and very professional! I would recommend to anyone! -

My experience with Chris Mizell and I do artistic catering was one that I will never forget. They did an amazing job with setting up and the food was unbelievable. I can't say enough about Chris and his team. They were amazing from the moment we met with Chris the first time almost a year before our wedding to after the reception. Chris answered every one of my questions (and there were a lot!) quickly and kindly. The food was delicious and our guests loved everything! We recommend Chris and I Do Artistic Catering 150% - you can't wish for better people to work with :) -

We Chris and I Do Artistic Catering for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It was GREAT! We had so many of our guests ask us about the caterer and for his contact information. I have been to several other events where he was working his culinary magic and have never been disappointed. His staff is friendly and professional and you can tell all of them take pride in the work. There is only one catering service I would recommend when someone asks me you the best in the Charleston are is and that is Christopher Mizell and "I Do Artistic Catering"! -

Chris was very easy to work with from the very beginning. He was referred to us by a family member and thought we might as well give him a try. We are SO GLAD we did!!!! His food was exceptional - the BBQ and Creamy Chicken Pasta were the major hits of the evening - and his service was impeccable. He was so accommodating and worked with us, and made our evening a night to remember!! Thank you Chris and your team for a job well done! Absolutely phenomenal catering team! Chris worked with us closely every step of the way, and the food is some of the best in charleston! They made our day perfect, couldn't ask for better customer service and quality food. I recommend them to anyone with any budget, very professional and simply perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better caterer for my wedding! It was probably the best decision we made, plus his macoroni and cheese is to die for! They were timely, attentive, detail oriented, knowledgeable, extremely organized and professional! I rate the 11 out of 10. -

Chris is phenomenal to work with and so eager to provide you with the perfect food to compliment your event. We used him for my son's rehearsal dinner and then the bride and groom used him the next day for the wedding - the food and presentation were outstanding both days! I could not ask for an easier vendor to work with and for a better quality in the food he provided - guests both days were very complimentary! I have already booked him for my daughter's wedding in July and I will be using him for any other events that come up and will definitely be recommending him to others! I had recommended him to others before I even tried his food because of his bright personality. I Do Artistic Catering catered our corporate Holiday party. They provided enough food at a very reasonable price for 150 people and it was amazing! Not only did Chris and his crew provide WONDERFUL food for our function the staff was also top notch!
Since this event I have recommended them to anyone that I hear of that has catering needs. Working for a large company like I do I have handled many corporate events and have used many other catering services and Chris by far across the board is the BEST!
Someone once told me you don’t have to pay Downtown Charleston prices to get a great meal and Chris has proved that saying to be TRUE!

I Do Artistic Catering provided catering for our daughter's Sweet Sixteen party. It turned out better than we had ever imagined, the set up was absolutely beautiful. The chocolate fountain and the candy station were a huge hit with the teenagers and adults. As a mother I wanted everything perfect, my stress was relieved at our sit down meeting. We truly felt that I Do Artistic Catering cared just as much about this being her perfect day as we did. The pride they take in their work and the love they show for clients in amazing. -

I could have never done my wedding without Chris! I can't even begin to explain how awesome he was. He responded very quickly with any question I ever had, and I had ALOT! His food is amazing and it looks amazing. If you are still looking for a caterer you can stop shopping now! His prices are so good too. He made sure our food was ready for us at our table so we had time to eat, and he made sure extra food was in our get away car so we had something to eat that night. I could go on and on about how great he is and I was definitely a picky bride! I couldn't have asked for anyone better! -

Our wedding was this past Monday (10.5.15) after all of the flooding, and I cannot say enough good things about Chris and his business! We had him hire a bartender for us as well as do our catering. The food was amazing and our guests are still raving about it!! The bartender was unable to make it to Chris stepped up and doubled as caterer and bartender! His family also helped with everything the day of! He had bent over backwards to make sure we had our food and bartender for our wedding! I don't think my husband or I had to even ask for a drink the entire night, any time he saw us head towards the bar he had a drink ready for us! He had lost power due to the flooding and still made miracles happen for us!! I cannot thank them enough for making it all happen!! You cannot go wrong and will not be disappointed with Chris catering any event you have!! -
