Seth & Nicole were awesome! Our pictures came out amazing - from the more posed family pictures to the candids from the reception; we loved every single photo. The pre-work we did to map out all of the photos we wanted was such a great idea, they made sure we got every combination of people we wanted so that we have no regrets of "oh i wish I had a picture with...." They were also just a joy to have around - we were afraid the whole process of pictures was going to be a bit awkward, but Seth + Nicole made it comfortable & enjoyable the entire day. We couldn't recommend Hyde Photography enough! -

Seth was phenomenal on our wedding day! He gave us fantastic direction as a couple, ensuring every authentic laugh and moment was captured. He is a true artist who constantly looks for unique, creative elements in his shots, which completely kept our photos from feeling stiff or staged. The previews that hit the mark are absolutely breathtaking and completely authentic. Seth was also incredibly patient and professional when it came to directing our family and friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! -

Working with Seth was an absolutely pleasure! All the way from the engagement photographs to the actual wedding day, Seth remained engaged, efficient, and most of all, instrumental in setting the tone for the entire night.
The bethroved may or may not fully comprehend that the actual wedding day goes by in an instant. Due to these invisible time constraints (known only to the couple), someone like Seth is vital in ensuring that the entire night flows without a hitch. He operated like a metronome: keeping everything, and most importantly, everyone on time.
Shout-out to Sarah who was also incredibly great to work with while Seth was shooting with my wife! I recommend Seth and co. wholeheartedly! -

Our experience with Seth was absolutely perfect. We all felt immediately comfortable with him and his team, and he made us feel taken care of through the entire process (which really helped put us at ease as the festivities picked up). The whole day was such a whirlwind, but those moments of taking a step away and just focusing on us as a couple, were some of the best memories. And of course it’s a plus that the pics turned out amazing!! We count ourselves incredibly lucky to have hired Hyde Photography for our wedding and would recommend Seth in a heartbeat! -

Seth from Hyde Photography is truly the best in the game!! From the beginning of our vendor selection process, we knew selecting a photographer was going to be the most important - and I’m so happy we chose Hyde Photography!
Seth was patient and communicative along the way. Taking the time to understand our vision and explain how he was going to help us achieve it. He created our morning timeline and worked his magic behind the scenes to ensure everyone was ready on time and was where they needed to be, making sure things felt smooth for us (even as he was running around between hotels).
He knew our venue so well which really helped to make things easy on our wedding day. We felt confident that Seth knew all of the best shots to take and would ensure we got as many photo opportunities as possible - and he truly delivered on this!
Not only did Seth capture the true magic of the day but I really enjoyed having him there on such a busy and emotional day. He has a calming presence and is also a “jack of all trades” on wedding day, helping my husband tie his bow tie, ensuring my veil was secure and getting our 3 nephews to actually smile together for a picture.
The morning after our wedding we received about 50 preview photos which was so exciting! I know some photographers only give a small handful of previews so we were so happy to receive so many photos to help us re-cap the day!
We’ve received many comments from friends and family about how spectacular our wedding photos came out. I can’t wait to get them framed and will cherish them forever! -

Joe and I cannot recommend Seth and his team enough. Seth was nothing but amazing since the first call we had with him a year and while prior to our wedding. He truly wants to get to know you as a couple and to capture your relationship through his work. He had great demeanor that translated so well to the day of the wedding and capturing exactly what Joe and I asked for. He was very organized, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. We cannot express the gratitude and appreciation we have for Seth and his team. Him and his wife, Nicole, were there for our Engagement shots, and Seth and Anna were there for our Wedding day. Without seeing any pictures, we can tell they knew exactly what they were doing, they were very organized, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Seth completely understood what we wanted from our first phone call, and made sure that he knew everything that was important to us before our wedding day. He captured everything we wanted, and we have zero "oh, I wish we got xxx photo" regrets!! He was also so easy to work with. My husband absolutely hates taking photos, and neither of us are photogenic, but Seth managed to make it fun for both of us (which is an incredibly hard task!) and so easy to get the more candid style we were after. Most importantly, the photos are GORGEOUS. Obviously everyone loves their wedding photos, but ours are objectively works of art. I look at our gallery a stupidly large number of times every week. So excited to fill our home with these photos. Thank you so much, Seth!!! -

Calm, supportive, and talented!
Early in our wedding planning we met with Seth over zoom to determine whether Hyde would be the best fit for our wedding, and as soon as we met him we were absolutely certain that we needed to work with him! The first thing we noticed was that Seth had a very calm and friendly personality, and we suspected that on a crazy day, that energy was going to go a long way. This could not have been more accurate! My day as the bride had a big panicky moment when I spilled bright green matcha all down the front of my wedding dress BEFORE our first look. Seth quickly assured me that he was going to be able to edit it out and remained calm and positive, which helped me to feel like everything was going to be okay after thinking I'd destroyed my dress. Between clever angling, a well-placed bouquet, and (I assume some) editing, there is not a single indication of what happened in all of the preview photos we received. Seth's assistant on the day of our wedding was Brandon, and he caught beautiful shots of us and our families while also offering constant help and support with anything that we needed. We received our previews only a few days after the wedding, and while I didn't cry at our actual wedding, I cried looking through these absolutely stunning photos. We will always treasure these incredible memories of our day, and we have Seth, Brandon, and Hyde Photography to thank for that. We are so thrilled to have worked with them. I truly can't say enough good things about Hyde Photography! From our engagement photos to our wedding and everything in between, Seth was so professional, talented, and kind. He has a way of making you look and feel natural especially if you're not used to having your photo taken. Our wedding day would not have been the same without him - he kept us calm and on track even when weather made things tricky, and captured the most incredible photos we could have ever imagined of our special day. Our friends and family can't stop talking about them! We really feel like we're reliving our wedding when we look through our album, and I'm so grateful Seth was right there with us during the craziest but most amazing day of our lives with the best ideas, jokes, and photo ops (even with their baby girl due any day)! When it comes to capturing the essence of our special day, we couldn't have asked for a more talented and dedicated photographer than Seth at Hyde Photography. His expertise and passion for weddings shined through every moment.
From our first meeting, Hyde impressed us with their warm and professional approach. They took the time to understand our vision and what mattered most to us, ensuring that every shot reflected our love story.
We knew that the wedding would be over before we knew it and that the photos would be our best memories. My wife is also an amateur photographer and she wanted to make sure the photos receive the time and attention they deserve.
On our wedding day, Hyde balance perfectly between being directive and being hands-off. Seth made sure he got all the shots he needed, quickly, efficiently, with good vibes, and happy smiles from everyone. It felt seamless and at the same time we were confident that he got all the shots we knew we wanted.
We received the wedding preview shots less than a week after the wedding and---no surprise--every shot is beautiful. Seth is an artist and he’s able to frame each moment, directed or candid, for the perfect shot. Our photos are a mix of fun and timeless.

We cannot recommend Seth highly enough if you are looking for a wedding photographer. From our initial calls with him, and then our engagement shoot, it was clear that Seth is not only such a kind and sweet person but also a fantastic photographer. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease and was so much fun to work with—which was super important to us being that you spend such a large portion of your wedding day with your photographer. Seth brought Sarah with him as his partner on the day of our wedding and we cannot say enough good things about her as well. The two of them got the most gorgeous photos of our day and captured all of the love and joy better than we could have imagined. They were even able to wrangle our very large families together for beautiful photos that mean so much to us. There is not a better photography team out there! -

If you have not booked a wedding Photographer for wedding yet do yourself a favor and book Seth now!! We found Seth on tagged photos on instagram of our wedding venue and it was like the stars aligned. Since the moment we met him it was like speaking with a friend. He made us so comfortable with him from the first meeting. We did an engagement shoot with Seth and he shot our wedding day. For someone who is not confident in themselves, Seth made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! The photos are amazing. Friends and family have said our wedding previews looks like a photo shoot out of Vogue! Your wedding day goes by SO fast but you spend a lot of time with your vendors. From our very first meeting through the end of our wedding day, working with Seth was a dream. He is not only a great photographer, but also a super-humanly kind and fun person to be around and made every meeting, our engagement photo shoot, and the entire wedding day so lovely.
A few weeks before the wedding, our meeting with Seth completely erased every fear and anxiety I had about our day running on schedule. If his expertise and professionalism could soothe this Type-A, notoriously punctual bride, he can handle any situation! On the wedding day, Seth effortlessly wrangled all our large families for photos and made everyone look good and feel at ease. He kept our energy up and our focus on how much fun we were having, and made sure we took time to rest and enjoy our day together. We even received our preview photos the day after the wedding, which was the icing on top of an already very delicious cake.

Fairytale wedding photos
Wow! That is all I can say (but not really, there is so many amazing things to write!)
Seth stood out to us from day one, not just in his style of shooting, but from our initial meeting when he took the time to read our entire story on our wedding website before even meeting with us; it felt like we were chatting with a friend but had just met him! We knew instantly that Hyde Photography had to shoot our wedding because of the tasteful shots he has been able to capture in the past as well as how kind he was to us during that first meeting. In our option, photo is probably the most important part of the day because that is what lasts forever once everything is over, and we are beyond thankful that Seth was able to help us with this part!
Our engagement shoot was in an amazing location which Seth had recommended and upon arrival, there were a ton of people on the beach and boats in the water, and SOMEHOW he made it look like we were the only two people for miles. Once those shots came back, I was beyond thrilled to see what the wedding day photos would turn out like!
On the wedding day, Seth had Scott accompany him as the second shooter and they both killed it with our crew. They completely made this day for us and we are so blessed to have had them. Scott was super energetic and sweet and everyone got along amazingly with both of them and there was a ton of laughing; they fit in to our crew seamlessly. We could not have gotten better weather for our special day and I am so stunned with the outcome of the photos! The lighting was perfect and Seth was able to come up with some great poses and I cannot believe we get to keep these photos forever… these are the type of photos I would see on Pinterest and think “If I could get photos that are at least this gorgeous, I will be happy” which is why I was so amazed at what we got delivered.
Seth had worked at our location before which was super helpful, but the spots he picked at The Garrison to get shots at combined with the angles was truly perfect. One of the best parts was that our group shots were so well planned that they were over with in about 10 minutes, and we were able to get every single shot we had in mind (including a group tequila shot which was so fun!).
During the party portion of the night, the guys were able to capture so many fun dancing photos and even helped coordinate larger family shots that we did not get to fit in in the previous time we held photos. Our bubble gun exit photos are hands down some of our favorite shots of the day and really capture how much fun we were having in that moment. Seth and Scott are absolute experts in what they do and were the cherry on top of the best day ever. We got the best next day preview as well in record time!
Overall, I never imagined I could get wedding photos that are this beautiful and I am forever grateful for Hyde Photography! These photos will be beautiful memories we will cherish forever and I fully recommend having them be a part of your special day if you are looking for high quality, friendly service and gorgeous finished products! -

The Best of the BEST
I was married at the Liberty House in Jersey City, NJ on 12/18. Here is what sets Hyde apart from the thousands of photographers you could pick for your wedding day, especially in the NYC area. Two main traits: ATTITUDE and STYLE. Let's talk about Seth - after planning our wedding, pushing our wedding, dealing with guest cancellations due to the Omicron variant two days before our wedding and less than ideal winter weather (so much fog and the grossest mist), Seth's incredible attitude made it seem like nothing else in the world mattered or existed but my husband and I. He kept us on schedule, was so flexible and open to any of my suggestions or need throughout the day, was a jack-of-all-trades over just a photographer - gathering my family and bridal party, organizing flowers for the groomsmen, chauffeuring my Dad and I to the church - Seth truly does it all, and does it all with a smile on his face and so much love in his heart for the couple he's documenting. Secondly, Seth's style of photography is unmatched. I can say this with proof considering I got an amazing selection of preview photographs just a few days after the wedding. They're all so incredible, I told Seth today I still can't decide which 10 (!!!!) to post on an Instagram carousel. To get technical, the rich tones Seth uses were much more my taste compared to the more airy, ethereal wedding photos you often see. Those are lovely, but the way Seth uses color and light to bring out the most authentic and natural sides of a couple was exactly what I was looking for. In 30 years when I look back at our wedding photos, I know I'll see me and my husband in our purest and happiest forms and feel the exact same way I feel today. Do yourself a favor and book with Hyde. LOVE YOU SETH! -

My partner and I were blown away with our experience with Seth! We had to reschedule our wedding date two times and throughout the planning process he was extremely easy going and responsive. When it came time for our wedding on 12/11/21 at 501 Union in Brooklyn, he arrived with full of energy and made the process of taking photos super exciting. He got all of our requested shots and had a preview of the wedding over to us the very next day.
When we first saw the photos, our jaws dropped!!!! The quality of the images far surpassed our expectations. The colors, saturation and sharpness was insane. Our friends and family were also impressed.
If you are looking for a photographer look no further! Seth is truly the best! -

Unreal/amazing
There are not enough words to describe how awesome Seth is! If you need a wedding photographer Seth and Nicole are your people. We had to change our wedding plans multiple times due to Covid. We ended up having a small wedding with immediate family in 2020 and then just had our big celebration July 2021. We were so lucky to have him photograph both of these events. Seth was SO supportive and organized throughout this entire process!! He saved multiple dates for us when we were uncertain about canceling our wedding or not even when he had other inquiries for those dates. It just showed how much he truly cares about each couple’s happiness and how compassionate he is about what he does!! I cannot tell you how comfortable we were with him! My husband and I have never really gotten our photos professionally taken before and he made us feel like we’ve gotten them taken a million times before. He makes you laugh and captures moments you never even thought could come to life. I cannot stop looking at all of our photos!!! They are unreal!! We were so lucky that we even got the opportunity to be photographed by Hyde Photography. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but them!!! -

I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing couple. I found them through Instagram stalking endlessly for the perfect wedding photographers. Everything about them was what I dreamed of. We had the PLEASURE of working with them during Covid (October outdoor wedding event) and they exceeded our expectations. Their assistant was also just pure bliss. Our photos are everything and more but aside from all of that just simply working with them was truly a phenomenal experience. My husband and I together are FUN and we aren’t shy when it comes to taking photos but we most definitely can get awkward. Seth helped us EVERY step of the way and made the engagement shoot and wedding day even better by just being apart of it. 10/10 could not recommend this couple enough. Working with Seth + Nicole has been an absolute dream! We hired Seth + Nicole for our wedding about a year and a half out from our date (9/12/20). From scrolling through their site, to the first virtual meeting, we knew they were our perfect photography match. While we postponed our larger wedding to 2021, Seth still came to shoot our small backyard ceremony this year. My husband and I are blown away by the previews (which Seth sent same day) & we cannot wait to get the full album.

Seth is amazing amazing to work with! We got married at NY city clerks office and Seth gave us great advice and insight about how the ceremony would be. He also knew all spots to take pictures inside, family pictures nearby and locations for the couple pictures. Seth also taught us so many poses and played little games with us, so posing for the camera felt fun and effortless!
We are so happy with how our pictures turned out and how quick Seth got them to us.

Best photographers every!
Before my husband and I began our search for my wedding photographer, I knew the style of photos I wanted for our wedding. I was specifically looking for someone who captured natural light/scenery beautifully and I couldn't be happier that I found Seth and Nicole. They are immensely talented at what they do! The photos they produce really captured all the special moments of our wedding day in an artistic way. Also, I highly recommend hiring both Seth and Nicole because together they were able to get two angles of shots for the first look, walking down the isle, etc. They were so easy to work with from the start, super organized, professional, kind, timely in their responses and on the wedding day they helped make sure everything ran smoothly. Even with all the nerves of the wedding, they made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding photos! -

Seth and Nicole are the photography dream team! We felt comfortable with them immediately upon meeting them and knew we had to have them be part of our day. My husband and I could not be happier with how our pictures turned out. It was very cold and windy the day of our wedding and Seth and Nicole stuck it out with us and never complained. They came on time and were so professional the entire day. Seth and Nicole always replied in a timely manner and they were so kind and gave us a gift at the engagement shoot as well as 1 month before. I am kind of crazy with my organization but it never bothered them and they just went along with me. Could not be more grateful with our choice to go with them. Would absolutely recommend Hyde Film and Design to a friend! -

Some people mentioned post-wedding blues as we were nearing our wedding day, but it didn't hit us too badly since we knew we would easily see most of our friends and family around the world at some point in the near future again. However, as strange as it sounds, it was really sad when we realized that we probably wouldn't have a chance to see Seth again, because at the end of the day, we felt like we were actual friends. Going with an independent photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding - the level of service and attention is impeccable, and you truly feel like you are the only wedding that matters in the world to them. We only had Seth photograph our wedding (rather than Seth + Nicole) since our guest list was smaller, which I was initially worried about, but he was EVERYWHERE all day and did it all with ease and never seemed stressed. He helped everyone, even those who weren't comfortable in front of a camera, feel comfortable, and was great with the little ones. Everyone in the wedding party raved about him, and he truly felt like a part of our wedding party rather than just another vendor we hired. We had quite a list of photos we wanted to capture, and he made sure we got all of them, listened to what kind of photos we wanted to capture, and was super flexible when I was tired during the day of (surprise!) and changed my mind on what photos I wanted.
Stylistically, the photos were exactly in the dreamy and romantic feel that I was going for. All the small newlywed gifts at various points during the planning process were really nice touches and got us HYPED for the wed -

Super fast and punctual responses, which made it easy to collect all the info I needed. They we not only professional but thoughtful in every way. In the beginning emailing and phone conversations made me confident they were the right choice! They recommended an engagement shoot, which I wasn't originally planning on having. I instantly was happy I did. Not only did we get beautiful pictures, but it got us comfortable in front of the camera! Then the day of the wedding. They were gentle, prompt, and felt like they were part of our family and friends. The pictures I received shortly after our wedding blew me and my husband away. They captured every moment making us feel like we were there again. That day was a calm blur, so seeing all the photos I was able to see things I may have missed. The night time photos I think impressed me the most. Every picture is so clear and everyone looks great!!
I would recommend them to everyone and would have chose them over and over again! -

Captured our day perfectly!
I cannot say enough great things about working with Seth and his team! From our first meeting, to all communications, to our wedding day, everyone was committed to bringing our vision to life. Seth was thoughtful and paid attention to every detail. I especially loved the shot list document he shared - no way anything would be missed. Day of, Drea and Brandon were on top of everyday plus so much fun to work with. We got the shots we wanted without spending our entire wedding taking pictures. The Hyde team was the best and our photos show just how incredible they are. Thank you! -

Seth was amazing as our wedding photographer! Our wedding package included an additional photo shoot that we used as an engagement shoot. This session helped us feel at ease with our decision. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we were so impressed with how those pictures turned out. Leading up to the wedding day he helped us build our day of timeline and we compiled a list of must have pictures. Seth and Drea helped us stay on schedule and were able to capture all the pictures we wanted. They were organized, professional, and prepared. Any time during the night we wanted a photo captured, Seth and Drea were already on it. They made it so easy for us to enjoy and have fun knowing they were capturing all our special moments. Seth even agreed to stay later because it started snowing and we took some amazing photos in the snow! Seth turned around wedding preview photos for all the big moments in only a few days. These pictures are amazing! We already have many of the framed and hung in our home. Highly recommend! -

Highly, highly recommend!
We hired Hyde Photography for our 11/15 wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Both Seth and his second shooter, Drea, were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They had such a calm, grounding presence throughout the day while still keeping everything moving on schedule. They were flexible, attentive, and made sure we captured the handful of concept shots that were really important to us.
On top of that, they were just a genuinely great vibe to be around, which made the whole experience feel effortless.
We received our preview photos about a week after the wedding and they were so perfect — beautifully composed, natural, and truly reflective of the day. We’re already confident the full gallery will be just as stunning. -

Seth is SO talented and it shows!
Seth and his team have a true passion for photography and watching them work their magic was so amazing. As someone who can’t make decisions and doesn’t know what she wants, I felt I could put my full trust in Seth to do exactly what he felt was best and let me tell you, he did NOT disappoint!! His direction and excitement for his craft made getting photographed so much fun. His passion for photography shined through the entire time. He is not checking a box, he is doing something he loves while creating an unmatched result. My husband and I saw him work his magic at my sister in law’s wedding a couple of months before we got engaged and once we saw the final product, we just knew we needed to hire him the second we picked a date. That is exactly what we did and we are SO happy we did. Thank you Seth!!!
