We hosted a beautiful wedding at the Botanical gardens. We used the carriage house for the wedding, conservatory for the cocktail hour and the grand hall for the reception. The venue is so beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Everyone at the wedding was impressed with the venue

The Wedding venue of the Carriage House , Conservatory, and Grand Hall of the Botanical Garden were magnificent! Well designed and so beautifully planned for events.
The staff could not have been more professional, flexible, and gracious!! Even in the middle of the Covid pandemic they made sure all our venues were safe and within protocol!
I thank them for making my daughters dream come true!❤️

Julie at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens was a dream to work with! Their staff is so friendly, accommodating and kind, and we couldn't have picked a more perfect venue for our dream wedding. Since we were planning our wedding long-distance, Julie even did a facetime tour of the venue for us so we could see it during the summer months before we booked. We'd recommend the Gardens to anyone -- thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect!

Debbie at the gardens was so friendly and helpful. We were from out of town and they had a vendor list that was so helpful for planning the perfect wedding. The day was magical. Everyone at the gardens made it easy to have the perfect beautiful wedding.

The Huntsville Botanical Gardens is a very special place. My daughters wedding was there and i just can’t say enough kind words about the staff, the grounds and everything in between. If there’s ever such a thing as a perfect venue...this is it ! Hats off to Julie and her team for a superb job.

When we visited the Garden, my daughter and I thought we had already made the decision about where her summer wedding would take place. The only reason we even kept our appointment is because we already rescheduled and Julie D. was super gracious about it. Then we saw it. Wow! I had no idea the new building was even built and it is spectacular. That, plus proximity to the airport, shopping and hotels made it just the right choice. Planning during Covid was a challenge, but Julie helped us come up with creative safety solutions even when the rules were changing every week. Numbers of guests were limited to half capacity, so the DJ (Metropolitan DJ) streamed the service from the Carriage House room for people waiting in the reception room and also for people who needed to stay at home. The buffet line had servers with gloves and masks and the tables were distanced. Everything was clean and beautiful. The Garden was highly flexible and even hosted our rehearsal dinner the night before (in a different building) when our other venue cancelled two weeks before the event. I'm sure the groom's mother would agree with all the above.

We had our son's Rehearsal Dinner in the Arbor House. It was beautiful and Julie and her staff were wonderful. We live in Maryland, so this was all done long distance. When we arrived, everything was more than we expected. They are very responsive, and helped with anything we needed. Beautiful venue.

I had my son’s rehearsal dinner at Huntsville Botanical Gardens recently. The Carriage House was stunning! I highly recommend The Carriage House at Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Everyone raved about how beautiful it was. We were able to open the doors and the guest were able to enjoy the view of the patio and lovely gardens. Julie was a gem to work with. I highly recommend this venue.

Huntsville Botanical Gardens went above and beyond to accommodate and provide everything I needed.

Dale, Amy and Robyn were all so responsive and easy to work with. This is a beautiful location and perfect for weddings and/or receptions! No prettier place in all of Huntsville!

My dream was to have a garden themed tea party and Huntsville Botanical Gardens was everything we wanted! Beautiful private garden with arbor, enchanted garden themed room, A/V hookups, and day of coordinator!

Huntsville Botanical Garden was a beautiful venue to get married in. We had both our wedding ceremony and reception in the carriage house. The carriage house is beautiful, it fit our rustic wedding style. The people at the botanical garden are very friendly and are willing to work with you. They provided a beautiful and lasting experience.

My daughter chose the Huntsville Botanical Garden as the venue for her recent wedding. The setting was obviously beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. We were very happy and pleased with this lovely venue.

There is nothing else to say. The venue was beautiful. I had full access to the grounds on the day of the event. During my planning activities Lee Anne Pasker was prompt to help answer any questions. Our staff person during the day, Dave Jacobsen was equally phenomenal. He was so cheerful and encouraging and helpful. Thanksw to DAve and Lee Anne!

Huntsville Botancial Gardens is a very beautiful place!! I had my wedding ceremony outside and my reception was inside The Arbor. The staff is very professional and excellent to work with. They were very friendly and helpful!!!

Lee Ann & Cindy were great to work with. They were very passionate in helping me getting things situated for the wedding. With the size wedding party we had they did their best to accommodate us. Having a garden wedding has been my dream as a little girl, yet Huntsville Botanical Garden made my dream come true.

We could not have chosen a more beautiful and perfect wedding venue! Lee Ann and Cindy were total sweethearts throughout the whole planning process and Dave tended to our every need the day of. I highly recommend them!!

What a great location their gardens are full of life and you feel as if you are walking in a dream.They where able to provide many other services like bartender and security.They where really strict and laid out what we could and couldn't do.We feel that this helped out reception run smoothly and without worry.I really value their professionalism and will recommend for any ceremony.

We rented the carriage house for our wedding reception. The ceremony was at the cottage garden which is not the area usually reserved for weddings. I was grateful that they allowed us to be flexible on where our wedding was. There were two other weddings on site that day. While my ceremony and reception went on without being interrupted, my guest did have a hard time finding the ceremony site. The gardens provided a person to direct guest to the right wedding, but I think there were too many guests to manage everyone. I was disappointed that we couldn't get the AV system to work resulting in not being able to display an image/slide show at the reception. I was thankful the bar services (alcohol, tender, and serving ware) were provided for me. Although there was some miscommunication early on about exactly what was and was not provided. I rented wine glasses because I thought I had to only to find out plastic cups were to be provided. There was a golf cart provided for transporting the bride and groom, but the gardens were kind enough to allow my grandmother to be transported using the cart as well. Overall it was a great place to have our wedding and reception with very minor issues.

The botanical gardens is a beautiful setting for any event. The Arbor room hardly needs any decorations. The construction on the entrance was disappointing. the hostess was rude to my husband and my mom, which irritated me to no end. The bartender more than made up for it. She was so sweet and did an incredible job keeping everyone happy.

Our venue was great. We actually rented several different facilities within the gardens so it can get costly. They don't offer discounts when renting several. You can however become a garden member and save a % off your rental. We also didn't know that another wedding would be taking place that day. Some of our guests got confused as to where our wedding was. Other than that the venue was perfect for what we were wanting. Our family and friends had a great time and it was very beautiful.

Huntsville Botanical Gardens is probably one of the most beautiful venues in Huntsville, AL and surrounding areas. The outdoor space will give you breathtaking views and pictures. The prices are pretty firm and there is limitation on what vendors you can use. If you want something simple and have the money to spend, the Huntsville Botanical Gardens is the place for you!

Well needless to say, I was quite disappointed with just dealing with these people. The management changed at least 3 times in dealing with them. Nobody knew what was going on. It would take at least 3 weeks for a payment to go through on my debit card. When having alcohol you can't bring your own, must use theirs. They say they'll send you a bill for it two weeks after your event, but it took them 3 months or more. Just really un-organized. But overall it looked really beautiful. We were in the Arbor room, inside for the reception, outside for the ceremony. And my dog could be in the wedding, so that was good. And if you want book there, make sure you have plenty of time before your wedding to do so. They won't have a space if you are getting married less than six months out. Do it as soon as possible.

We had a difficult time working with the ladies in the events office. They were both new at the time and were constantly having to get back with me with answers to my questions. They were able to secure the site I wanted for the ceremony, it wasnt a usual site offered and I appreciate their flexibility in allowing me to use it. It was a pricy venue but very beautiful and in the end, very worth it. The staff services offered on the day of were excellent. I especially liked that all our guests were able to tour the gardens for free.

At the beginning when we booked our spot with the Botanical Gardens we had a different woman we were dealing with who told us a bunch of awesome things. But when our contact switched to Cindi then things got a bit scattered and crazy. A few weeks out from the wedding our setup time changed from what was originally written on the contract because she messed up. I couldn't reach Cindi at all to answer questions without numerous attempts to reach her via phone and email. When we went to make our final payment she had a different number on file for what we owed them because their accounting had messed up. We tried to get ice for the bottled water that we would have for guests but we were told that our cooler had to have wheels on it and be loaded to some other part of the garden. We tried to find out if there was somewhere that we (our wedding party) could go to cool down before the ceremony and everything was booked up so there wasn't anywhere for us to be. Because we only booked an outdoor space to be used for the ceremony portion only, we got the short end of the stick basically. If you do go here, maybe try to do everything with them to receive better service?

STAY AWAY! My experience at the Botanical Gardens planning my wedding was an absolute NIGHTMARE! My husband and I booked the venue over a year and a half before our wedding because we thought it looked pretty. It was actually as they were doing construction to the Grand Hall/Carriage House so it wasn't even finished yet. We were promised and agreed on so many things with Cindy and Robin. However, 6 weeks before our wedding everything changed- and I mean EVERYTHING! They were trying to change our rain plan (as in our guests would have their cocktail hour with NO food or drinks), they wanted to charge us extra money for whatever they could find, and they were confused as to what was even going on! My husband and I actually told them how to do a rain plan and they thought it was a great idea. I mean really? They're suppose to come up with this- not the bride and groom! Fast forward to 4 days before our wedding. I received an email from Dale stating that we were only going to have a 3 hour bar that's it. Even though on our contract it said 4 hours and we agreed to that over a year and a half ago! My husband and I went up there immediately (me crying of course because I am so upset) to talk to Dale. Dale did not even READ OUR CONTRACT! She told us since it was in the contract we could have 4 hours but informed us that they would shut down our bar before that because it will get too crazy. I was so confused because how could she predict that our wedding would be too crazy and she would have us shut down? She told me that EVERY weekend they shut down wedding bars and weddings early (3 hours or less). I informed her that it's sad that the Gardens have to do this every weekend because I didn't think they would allow weddings to get out of control. She then threaten me and said "It's people like you and your wedding that will get it shut down." I'm sorry- you have met me twice and have not even seen my wedding yet! We were disgusted on how we were treated! STAY FAR AWAY!!!!
