Everything about our experience with Pam and Michael at Hummingbird Hollow was truly AMAZING! This dream team truly cares about creating the very best for your special event.
The property is absolutely gorgeous and allows for numerous options for the perfect wedding ceremony and reception. In fact, we made a weekend event out of it as we also had our rehearsal dinner and welcoming party held at Hummingbird Hollow. The well appointed cottages on site allowed comfort and convenience for the bridal party to stay the night before the festivities the following day.
Chef Pam went above and beyond in creating a gorgeous feast for our guests. Everything was displayed beautifully and was absolutely delicious!
The entire property is a well maintained majestic garden. It was the perfect place to bring our daughter's vision of her special day to life. Hummingbirds even made the timely appearance during their vows.
With the help of Pam and Michael everything came together perfectly! They listened to our wishes for the event and truly did their best to put everything into action. This allowed for a smooth experience. Our time at Hummingbird Hollow is something we will treasure. Thank you!!!

This venue and the owners are absolutely AMAZING! I loved working with Pam and Michael from Day 1. They were so quick to get back to me about availability when I inquired about their venue -- and they even personally called me to set up a time to check it out that very weekend while my mom was in town from out of state! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and as soon as we stepped on site, my Mom and I knew it was the perfect place for the wedding!

Pam instantly understood my vision for the day and was quick to recommend local vendors which was SO incredibly helpful as I am not local to the area! All the vendors Pam recommended were absolutely wonderful!! And Pam was the most incredible chef!! I loved working with her both on the menu and the vision for the day!

Having so many family members on both sides come in from out of town, I absolutely LOVED that we were able to host a welcome party on site the night before our wedding which Pam helped us come up with an incredible Menu of Greek food for as a nod to our honeymoon destination! It was so fun getting to spend even more time on such an incredible property with our loved ones. I had also told Pam how important it was to me to get to spend some time with my bridesmaids before the wedding, so I loved being able to stay at the venue the night before the wedding with my gals! It really eased the stress of the weekend to already be onsite and with my sweet friends at such a gorgeous and peaceful place.

Everything about our weekend at Hummingbird Hollow was perfect and working with Pam and Michael was an absolute joy!! I could not recommend this place enough!! Everything went so smoothly and was so stress free! If you love florals and greenery, this is THE PLACE for you!!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would to this venue. Michael and Pam are wonderful, kind people. I was planning my wedding from out of state and Chef Pam met with my mom and spoke to me frequently to help us with any decisions. I was able to pick out all the linens, china, food, areas, and decor with Chef Pam. She helped me find other vendors that were familiar with her setup. The venue itself was beautiful! It is sweet southern charm at its best, beautiful and intimate. There is a grooms cottage, a bridal suite, and a honeymoon cottage and other cottage. Everything has so much care put into it. The day of, it rained but they already had the plan in place and let me be in the driver's seat (with invaluable input from Chef Pam). The ceremony was easily moved inside by her team and was gorgeous. Her food is EXCEPTIONAL! With Chef Pam, I did not need a full wedding coordinator - she handled so much for us. I hired a day of just for my behind the scenes stuff, but Chef Pam ran the whole thing from my perspective and made my day about my husband, me and the wedding. I could not have imagined it being any better. I also could go on for another 5 pages.

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The location was absolutely beautiful, and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, despite our last-minute change of locations. From the stunning setup to the seamless coordination, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our day even more special than we could have imagined. It truly exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for the unforgettable experience!

I am not likely to give a 5 out of 5 on anything, really, as I have extremely high standards and know exactly what I want. Elmwood Gardens deserves the 5 out of 5 stars in ALL categories because they exceeded our expectation in every single way. Chef Pamela is talented, professional and always assertive; her team, worked very hard to uphold those exact standards and anticipated everything that needed to be done... before it needed to be done. Those qualities are hard to come by with any service (especially for a wedding) but Provence made everything easy, organic and absolutely wonderful. Chef Pamela was accessible, flexible, concise with attention to detail, respectful of our choices and most importantly accommodating to all of our needs. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, food was DELICIOUS and set up was PERFECTION. The success of our big day is truly owed to Elmwood Gardens, Chef Pamela and her team. We are eager to plan something, anything else, just to work with Chef Pamela again!

Our daughters wedding was hosted by Elmwood Gardens on June 4, 2021. Allow me to say, it had been a very long year for us due to Covid pushing dates back then followed by a venue cancellation due to excessive rain and flooding. It looked like my daughters wedding was not going to happen until I answered the phone and an angel on the other end said he could host my daughters wedding in 5 days. This is not a typo....5 days! We met with the owner, Michael, the next morning and we were amazed with his excitement and hospitality. He was so encouraging that my daughter would have the wedding of her dreams. The venue is amazingly beautiful and complimented my daughters boho style. Micheal went above and beyond to cater to our every need, and my daughters wedding was absolutely beautiful. He is a good man with an amazing talent in hospitality. If you are looking for a personal experience that reaches far beyond what today’s retail venues can offer, Elmwood Gardens will be your choice.

I absolutely love the property and all the different options we had we ended up getting rained on but still ended up being the most amazing and most gorgeous wedding ever thanks to all staff and the owners who were very helpful and friendly and wanted us to be completely happy with our experience and I am literally overjoyed with my day and how it turned out!

Words cannot begin to describe how thankful and blessed we feel for Elmwood Gardens by Provence. We got married June 2, 2018 at this absolutely stunning venue. After our first visit, there was no doubt that this was the perfect place to start our forever with all our friends and family. They were so accommodating to our 380-count guest list (yes, you heard that right 380 people attended our wedding). Pam and Michael were the absolute best and their hospitality was undeniable from beginning to end. Anything we needed or had any questions about, they were there to help. Even though it was about 104 degree Texas weather, our wedding was a complete DREAM. We are still to this day getting compliments on how beautiful the venue was. Pam is a phenomenal chef and provided us with many and all options from cocktails & hors d’oeuvres to deserts and of course my requested mac & cheese bar. She took all suggestions and assured all expectations would be met. And they all definitely were. Everything from the decorations, dance floor, banquet hall to grooms/bridal cottage was so convenient and easy. They helped us check everything off our list. Helped with rentals and even picked them up and dropped them off for us. Every visit we had at the venue we felt at home.

We were the first couple to get married at the brand new ceremony site, the Doors to Forever at the Trees of Faith. They showed us all the options available to have the ceremony at and even though this spot was in the beginning stages of being built, we knew this was the perfect spot. The two gorgeously large oak trees in the middle of the pasture was picture perfect. All of our visions came to life here. It was definitely an unforgettable night that our guests and especially us will never forget!

That day was the most perfect, magical, best day yet and all thanks to Pam and Michael at Elmwood Gardens! We now have a lifelong friendship and will definitely stop by for a visit when can. If you are looking for the same experience as us then Elmwood Gardens is your place!

Michael has been the absolute most amazing person in helping us get exactly what we want AND MORE for our perfect wedding day! He generally responds within just a couple of minutes when I have a question or even if I'm just saying hi and telling him something about my day. When I first received a message from him reguarding Elmwood Gardens, I immediately felt that he truly cared that we were able to achieve everything we dream of for the wedding. He was very understanding when we had to bring our son, Kye, to our tour of the venue and even included him in the conversation. Kye enjoyed acting like one of the adults and even started trying to take over for Michael, which he thought was adorable. Michael is extremely accommodating and caring. He checks on us to see how we are doing every week. He has simply been the most amazing person, without him, I would probably have to wait a couple of years for a ceremony or get married at a place I wasn't happy with. He has made the impossible, possible in our near future. A beautiful ceremony with a gorgeous reception and at a cost that doesn't have me hyperventilating. Thank you Michael for all you have done and continue to do to make my (our) dream wedding come to life.

Best decision choosing Elmwood Gardens. My wedding was in the middle of the week so Dee Dee offered various discounts. We were able to use one of their beautiful personal horses to take our bridal portraits with. Opt for the all inclusive package! (You can customizes certain services out) I rode into the ceremony on their vintage white oldsmobile where Dee Dee's husband was dressed as my chauffeur. The garden is kept immaculate and beautiful. They have a honeymoon cottage that we opted for and stated at the night of our wedding. Me and the bridesmaids stayed in it the night before the wedding. Dee Dee is absolutely sweet, and accommodating. She was also our day-of coordinator. We used her recommended florist, officer, and caterer. But chose our own photographer and opted out of the DJ services.

I can not say enough about how wonderful Elmwood Gardens is! I love every single part of this venue; the wedding walk, outdoor dance floor, cottages, gorgeous wood indoor venue, luscious gardens, flowers everywhere, cats lounging on the porches; EVERYTHING is beautiful!! I am from the Dallas area and came all the way to Palestine to have my wedding here because it is so beautiful. I love that they have an all inclusive package option with catering, cake, flowers, DJ. You can't go wrong with any of the vendors that they use (Fatt Apple catering, La Tee Da Flowers, Designs by D'Anne cakes) except the DJ in my opinion (the only vendor I would change about my wedding, I'm sure they are great for some people, we just didn't have a good experience). DeeDee and James (the owners) are just incredibly sweet and do everything in their power to make your day perfect. DeeDee met with me multiple times and was always available for questions through out the planning process. Unfortunately, the night before our wedding a horrible storm came through (the worst they had ever seen at the venue; during the rainiest May we have seen in years) and everything was flooded (we couldn't even make it to the rehearsal due to trees blocking the roads), but James and DeeDee were up at the crack of dawn blowing the walkway and outdoor reception area that I was dying for with a leaf blower to dry everything out. It was still slightly raining on and off the morning of and DeeDee worked with me up until the last second to decide if we could have the ceremony outdoors and we went for it; she never shut it down no matter how much it looked like it wasn't possible. The walkway was absolutely gorgeous with florals by La Tee Da and everyone said it was magical, they could not get over the amazing venue! DeeDee and her team were there all night to make sure every thing went according to plan. I could go on and on but all I can say is thank you Elmwood Gardens for hosting my perfect rainy day!

We could not have been happier with our wedding that occurred on a beautiful October day. Dee Dee and Sue were extremely helpful and attentive. Anytime my Mom or I had any questions about anything before the wedding, Dee Dee was always quick to respond. Our guests at the wedding kept raving about how beautiful Elmwood is. It was truly the best experience a bride could ever hope and wish for!!

This venue is INCREDIBLY BREATHTAKING! DeeDee and James Turnage are such a lovely and caring couple who truly care about making your wedding an incredible fairytale. I know this to be true because they allowed mine to go off without a hitch! I will be forever grateful to them for allowing me to have my special day at their venue! My wedding was celebrated on September 5th, 2015! I knew from the time my friend showed me pictures of her wedding at Elmwood from three years ago that this was the tucked away treasure I wanted to get married at! Convincing my prince was not a problem as it was all inclusive and the hosts help plan all of the details and run the wedding to make sure it is all perfect! This is not only one of the best wedding venues in the state of Texas, but in the nation! I highly recommend Elmwood Gardens if your dream wedding is to feel truly like a princess by getting your fairytale ending. If you like being engulfed in chandeliers, pulled up in a horse and carriage, soft twinkling lights, fresh flowers and good people, this is the venue of true wedded bliss. Thank you to all who made our day possible: La Tee Da for flowers, CMB Djs for music and lights, and Cakes by D'Anne for the cakes! (the grooms cake was a HIT!!) Thanks again, ALL! Highly recommended for an overall wonderful wedding experience.

We just had our wedding here on 7/25/2015. Dee Dee and her husband and assistant were awesome. This place is beautiful. From the moment I saw it, I knew I wanted to have my wedding here. They were very helpful. We had the all inclusive package and everything was perfect that day. Fatt Apple catered the wedding and my whole family raved about how good it was. La Tee Da in tyler did my flowers and omg were they beautiful. CMB dj the event and Casey Brown was amazing. Even got spanish music on. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you Dee Dee for making our special day perfect. I would sooooo recomend this venue for anyone looking to have a wedding or even just a gathering here.

Elmwood Gardens was the perfect location for our wedding. It was chic and rustic. Everyone at the wedding complimented the venue on how unique it was. We had our ceremony at Stonewood and it was naturally beautiful. We didn't have to add any extra decorations and the pictures turned out stunning. Our reception was at the dance hall outside with tables surrounding it. It was open and beautiful. Everyone was able to mingle to talk and watching the dancing. Dee Dee and her husband made our wedding flawless. They were so accommodating and made sure everything was set up perfectly and ran smoothly. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful outdoor setting.

I had my wedding at Elmwood Gardens on 11/22/2014. When originally looking for a venue, I always had the feeling I would have rain on my wedding day, so I wanted to make sure wherever I booked had an inside option that was just as beautiful as the outside option as well. I fell in love with the gardens, of course, and the inside, chapel option was gorgeous. We booked the wedding the weekend before Thanksgiving, when there happened to be a last minute cancellation, and got a special rate for it being in November. I planned my wedding in 7 months, and had no clue what I was getting myself into. However, DeeDee, the owner, had my back every step of the way. She always called back within 24 hours, and was so extremely helpful in making sure all the bases were covered. She was so sweet and really made me feel taken care of. The day of our wedding it stormed all day, so I was so glad we had booked with Elmwood Gardens. Our wedding photos turned out beautiful, even if we didn't get to take advantage of the gardens, and months later people are still talking about how beautiful the wedding was. I couldn't have been happier with our wedding and I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone planning a wedding.

What an amazing wedding we had at Elmwood Gardens on April 24, 2015. The gardens are breath taking. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful country surroundings. Dee & James Turnage are so attentative and helpful in every aspect of the wedding. Could not of asked for a better place to have our wedding.

My husband and I are from Fort Worth Texas and were married on April 26, 2015 but booked our wedding back in December 2014. We happened to find Elmwood Gardens on Weddingwire.com and I am so thankful I did. Since day one DeeDee was an unbelievable blessing to us. She helped put everything together for us and went above and beyond to bring our fairy tale garden wedding to life. The entire wedding from beginning to end was so perfect and elegant. The grounds are just stunning if you are looking for a garden meets rustic feel this is the perfect setting. The bridal suite and groom's cottage were so great to get ready and relax before we walked down the isle. Our reception hall was so perfect and DeeDee and Jim were more than accommodating to bring it all together. We were happy from the very start and in the end we are still so happy and blessed. Thank you to Elmwood Gardens and the wonderful DeeDee and Jim and all the Elmwood staff. Our memories will last a lifetime so glad we chose Elmwood to be apart of it.

This place is such a beautiful setting for a wedding. Laura Ann was awesome at making sure everything got taken care of and done! We even left some of our stuff behind after the wedding and Jim was nice enough to mail it to one of the groomsmen and kept ours safely in a storage room for us to pick up. Fantastic people, beautiful scenery. There is no better for a wedding venue.

PERFECT!!! Is the only word to describe Elmwood Gardens. The owners, Jim and Dee Dee Turange, have truly made this an incredible and magical place for weddings. They along with their staff and provided vendors made our wedding planning easy and fun. The vendors, LaTeeDa Florist, Cakes By D'Anne, CMB Music Productions, and The Fatt Apple Catering where the absolute best. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting an incredible experience and wedding.

Terry and I couldn't be happier about the entire experience at Elmwood Gardens. From the initial tour and selection of the site to the Big Day itself. Dee Dee and James were so accomodating and helpful and I know that it wouldn't have been as wonderful without them. The new venue is absolutely beautiful and the lighting set everything off perfectly. I appreciate the efforts to complete the new indoor/outdoor chaple in time for our wedding and the carriage ride was amazing and a little girls dream come true. I could not have dreamed of a better venue or better folks to work with.

I couldn't imagine getting married any where else! Elmwood Gardens exceeded my expectations by offering an all-inclusive wedding package that included all of the vendors! The venue is gorgeous! I even rented out the guest cottage for my bridesmaids and I to stay in the night before the wedding and rented the Honeymoon cottage as well for our wedding night.

I cannot think of a better venue to have had our wedding. Everyone involved was completely wonderful, and Laura Ann was amazing! She helped walk me through every scenario, and was incredibly flexible and on top of things as last minute hiccups and mixups occurred. I really appreciated everything she did both in the planning process and on the day of. The entire experience was like a dream come true, and I highly recommend Elmwood to any brides looking for a venue!! We went with the All-Inclusive package, and every vendor used was equally as amazing. Our flowers were beautiful, the cake and catering were delicious and Sherman from CMB was great as the DJ! Elmwood Gardens was the absolute perfect venue for my wedding! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is so helpful and accommodating, and they are so well organized and made everything flow smoothly. The outdoor gardens are perfect for a beautiful wedding, they have great back up sites in case of bad weather, and a wonderful reception area. I had an absolutely perfect wedding, and I owe it all Elmwood! They far exceeded my expectations!

I cannot imagine being more pleased with this venue! Laura Ann provided everything we could have expected and more! The place was beautiful, and so many details were seen to that, as the mother of the bride, I could just enjoy the day. I will highly recommend this place to everyone I know!

Elmwood Gardens has a natural beauty with a rustic look. That is what our daughter was looking for. We had a formal wedding in a beautiful, informal setting complete with fire pit and cigars, a string quartet, band, beautiful flowers and wonderful food and beverages! If this is the feeling you are looking for, you need to check-out Elmwood Gardens. DeeDee and Laura Ann were so accommodating to us and truly made our stressful time much easier. Our daughter could not have been happier! Husband's friends from another state reported that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended.

Perfection! The Venue itself is BEAUTIFUL! DeeDee and James (the owners) were very involved in every aspect of our daughters wedding, from start to finish. So professional and accomodating. We left feeling like they were part of our family!
Now, Laura Ann was our Wedding Coordinator.....&, where do I begin ? Laura Ann never left my daughter's side from the time we arrived until the time the wedding was over. Laura Ann is truly the VERY BEST at what she does! Not one slip up....she was not going to let that happen. She was comforting, reassuring, so personable.....again, the Very Best! She is now "officially" part of our family. We all adore her! La Tee Da Florist....made all of my daughters' "floral visions" come true....from the wedding ceremony, to the reception. The fresh "Black Beauty Roses" that adorned the cake , just gorgeous! Design's By D'Anne - Brides Cake & Grooms Cake....everyone is still talking about how beautiful & delicious both cakes were! Fatt Apple provided the most delicious food for our guests.......everything was Yummmola! I just cannot say enough, perfection!
Casey Brown, owner of CMB Productions, was our MC & DJ....he is such a professional! He provided the music for the wedding and the reception....he also DJ'd for our Rehearsal Dinner the night before. He orchestrated everything beautifully!
The Bartender & every single person/vendor that was involved in making my daughters wedding dream come true, were all true professionals.
And, last but definately Not least, Minister, James Bray, officiated the most beautiful and memorable wedding service I think I've ever witnessed. His words fit our daughter and son -in-law perfectly! We are so thankful to know James Bray and to have him bless our daughter and son in-laws wedding.

Elmwood Gardens is such a beautiful place to get married and they make the planning process much easier by having all the vendors there and walking you through the process. The night was amazing and they made sure everything went according to plan. They keep the grounds there absolutely beautiful and everyone kept asking where I had found such an amazing place. All my questions were answered leading up to the wedding and they were open to any ideas that I had. Loved all the staff and it will always be a day I remember.

Elmwood Gardens is an ideal wedding venue. Laura Ann and Dee Dee were wonderful to work with. They were happy to meet with us and answer questions whenever we needed to prior to the wedding. Then the day of the event, when we arrived everything was just as they had promised. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, and the reception hall was set up and ready for us to add our finishing decorating touches. Laura Ann kept us right on schedule and the day flowed smoothly. All of our guests were very impressed, and the bride and groom had a ball! As the mother of the bride, even though it was my first time, I was able to relax and have a great time, too. It was a perfect day from start to finish. If we had it to do over again, we would definitely choose Elmwood Gardens.

Fairy tale wedding of my dreams! Best location in Texas with a white horse carriage chandeliers cute little cottages!! Best of all... The owner and wedding coordinator from elmwood not only are they there and respond quickly to questions they also make you feel at home and listen to your (a plus for a stressed bride) highly recommend this beautiful location with beautiful gardens!

Going with the all inclusive package was the best thing I ever did. Laura Ann took care of everything. We met with the individual services to tell them what we wanted but it was the venue that actually coordinated everything for us. Designs' by D'Anne provided two beautiful and delicious cakes, La Tee Da Florist provided beautiful flowers and fabric, Fatt Apples provided delicious food and service, and CMB Music Production provided music to make the day perfect. My daughter bought her dress and the bridesmaids dresses from David's Bridal and rented the groom's and groomsmen attire from The Men's Wearhouse. Everything went very smoothly. All together, it made a day my daughter will never forget.

Getting married at Elmwood Gardens was an amazing experience. The owners of the venue took an active part in the wedding, and their wedding coordinator, Laura Ann, did a phenomenal job. We live out-of-state, so the fact that Elmwood offered a complete package with suggested DJ service, caterer, florist, and cake baker made the process nearly stress-free for me. Laura Ann was open to listening to my ideas, provided tons of helpful advice, and made it a really great experience for us. Our guests have continuously praised the venue as one of the most beautiful they've seen and many are considering it for weddings in their families. They executed everything in the background the night-of so that we didn't have to worry about anything! I would recommend this venue a thousand times over.

Elmwood Gardens allowed me to have the fairy tale day I have always dreamed of. Ever since the first time I was in contact with Elmwood, they were so nice and helpful. I would not have changed a single thing if I could do it all over again! The venue is truly beautiful, elegant, and vintage. I am still having people tell me how beautiful it was! We absolutely loved everything about Elmwood Gardens! Everyone was friendly and inviting. We had a wonderful day and night. All of friends and family loved the place as well. Everyone thought it was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. I am so happy that we had our wedding at Elmwood and Laura Ann and her team made the night perfect for us!

BEAUTIFUL. Elwood Gardens is amazing. When we visited the venue, my daughter got our of the car and said "this is it!" Dee Dee took us around and went over the details of the cottages, wedding walk and gardens. My daughter loved Dee Dee. From this point forward, every detail was taken care of. LauraAnn, wedding even coordinator, stayed in touch and provided assistance in finding a hotel, shuttle, rehearsal dinner suggestions and answered every question. On the day of the wedding, LauraAnn made everthing effortless. She provided guidance, ran errands and kept everyone on task and excited about the ceremony. If you have the opportunity to use Elmwood Gardens, give her a big hug and tell Jack hello from the Thomas/Sinclair family. Best venue!

This venue is by far the best in East Texas! It is a real life dream wedding venue! I could have not asked for a better venue! It surpassed my expectations! I will never forget my experience with Elmwood! I loved how my wedding turned out and will never ever forget that day! Thank you for making THIS girls dreams come true! :)

Every one of my guests raved about how beautiful everything was and I had so many people ask me how I found such a charming place. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this treasure back in February! Laura Ann was amazing throughout everything. She is calm and so helpful-- exactly what you need on your wedding day! I felt like everything was so organized and ran so smoothly.

This location is absolutely perfect! We live in Dallas and were a bit unsure of getting married three hours away, but is was so worth it. Every where you look is a perfect picture opportunity. Being able to get ready on this gorgeous site in the beautiful cottages made things much easier than I thought it would be. And having Laura Ann there the day of was incredible, don't know what I would have done without her. At the end of the night, being able to just walk over to the honeymoon suite was nice. It was a perfect way to end our special day. It is so cute and comfortable. We didn't want to leave the next day! The vendors (DJ and florist) we used through the all inclusive package were not only a good deal, they did a fantastic job. I want to get married all over again at Elmwood Gardens and I wouldn't change a thing!

Everything was so awesome! Hiring the wedding planner was the best thing we did. She was so helpful with timing everything, because I would have lost track of the time, it flys by to fast. And the venue its self was so beautiful, I recieved so many compliments on how great the venue was. They really did make my dream wedding come true!

From the moment our daughter saw Elmwood Gardens and all those gorgeous chandeliers she knew that was where she wanted her wedding to be. But Elmwood Gardens is so much more that just a beautiful venue. It is an experience. A once-in-a-life-time experience for the bride, the groom, their families and guests. The gardens are something you could only imagine being in a story book but they are real. The longer you are there the more you see and enjoy. The vintage cottages and furnishings add to the pampered feeling all brides desire and are perfect for the wedding party and families to relax and socialize in the day of the wedding. The reception area has character and is large enough to accommodate a wedding if the weather does not cooperate. Although we were blessed with beautiful weather; knowing it was an attractive option relieved the stress often accompanying an outdoor wedding.

The manager, Laura Ann, took excellent care of us. She was truly a gift from God on this special day. She is detail oriented, relaxed and enjoyable to be with. She listened to our daughters desires and concerns and went above and beyond our expectation in every way! She adds to the beauty and experience the Turnage's have created in the enchanted Elmwood Gardens.

Elmwood Gardens is the the absolute best place to get married!! They have 2 beautiful ceremony sites and an awesome reception hall. Kelly and Dee Dee really made our wedding magical and special. Kelly is an amazing wedding coordinator and such a sweet heart. She talked us into doing a "first look" and I'm so very thankful she did. The people of Elmwood really love their jobs and will make you feel as if your wedding is the only wedding they have. Everything was perfect on our big day thanks mostly to Elmwood!

I still can't believe how absolutely perfect our wedding was at Elmwood! Never before have I seen such a place. It was exactly the kind of wedding that my husband and were hoping for, and more. Kelly is the loveliest, most gracious and helpful coordinator, and our wedding could not have gone as smooth and as beautiful without her smiling face the entire day. The owners of Elmwood have created the most beautiful venue for the special day. My husband and I are so grateful and so blessed to have been married here, and to have worked with Kelly.

Love love love this place! Who knew such a beautiful venue existed in the middle of East Texas. Kelly is the greatest wedding coordinator/planner ever. I was attempting to play the role of wedding planner for my sister's wedding and would not have been able to do so without Kelly. She knows everything. She thought of every detail that I would have missed.

The venue is amazing. The gardens are beautiful and the reception hall has that perfect combination of a rustic, vintage feel.

This venue is beautiful, so many flowers during spring you don't have to decorate much! They work with us because my fiance & I had a car wreck 2 weeks before our wedding & because of our injures we had to reschedule the whole wedding. They were very understanding & helpful. Another great thing is they have a reception hall at the venue so you don't have to worry about leaving to go to the reception, guests getting lost on the way there, etc. They also allow easy payment plans. I loved it out there from the moment we toured it. A+++ Venue!

Elmwood Gardens is hands down the best outdoor wedding venue! You cannot find a better place to get married. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and the wedding coordinator, Kelly, is AMAZING! She is an absolute must the day of your wedding! It was so nice not having to worry about a single thing because I knew she had everything under control! She made sure everything ran smoothly and on time and that everyone was in the right place at the right time! Anything my husband or I needed she was right there! I honestly cannot say enough great things about this place, it is definitely the best place to married.

I LOVE Elmwood Gardens!! I think everyone should get married here!!!! It is so beautiful. It actually rained the day of my wedding and no one even batted their eye when I said I wanted to continue with our wedding outside. Kelly is AMAZING!!! I booked her day 1 of booking Elmwood and she held my hand the whole way. She was always quick to answer every email and every question I had. She was always so helpful!!! I could not have gone through with the wedding so stress free without her!! AWESOME...she is AWESOME!!! And the day of the wedding, she was always helping someone. Whether it was helping me put my shoe on or even helping my MOH with her speech. And although I didnt get alot of time with Dee Dee. Her work in the garden is AMAZING!!! And she is such a sweet heart!! Im so thankful to have hired such sweet people. If I could do it again, there is no doubt I would do it again with everyone from Elmwood Gardens. Love them :)

Elmwood Gardens was so much more than a wedding venue. It was like being in a different century in a beautiful, secret, enchanting garden, complete with vintage cottages, beautiful statues, gorgeous fountains, and plently of little secret spots in the gardens. Having my wedding here was like having my wedding in a dream. Dee Dee was so wonderful and sweet and very helpful. Kelly was a life saver!!!! She kept everyone calm & everything running smoothly. I definately could not have enjoyed my experience as much as i did without them. I definately recommend Elmwood Gardens as THE PLACE to have your vintage one-of-a-kind wedding, that people will still talk about after you've been married forever!!!!!

Kelly, the manager and wedding planner at Elmwood Gardens did an EXCELLENT job for my step daughter's wedding. She worked with us on every single aspect. Always amazingly courteous and so much wanting to meet the brides expectations. She is grace under pressure and made our day fabulous. The setting is amazingly beautiful for an outdoor wedding and the accomodations for the bride and bridal party, groom and groomsmen were wonderful. The staff is excellent and very, very friendly. I can not say enough amazing things about Elmwood Gardens! They made my beautiful girl's dream wedding come true! Thank you, Kelly and all the staff for the amaziing job you did!

Elmwood Gardens is the BEST place to get married! It is so unique and absolutely beautiful. Dee Dee has the biggest heart and does an excellent job of keeping the grounds looking the best they can (pretty much perfect!) and Kelly Clover (the new venue manager) did a wonderful job of coordinating my special day! I would definately recommend Elmwood for your wedding.

I really do not know how to put into words how absolutely amazing our wedding at Elmwood Gardens was. My husband and I were in awe at the amazing work by Michael, Morgan, and the wonderful staff at Elmwood. We are still hearing about how beautiful everything was! We had originally booked the venue under the previous owners, but the new owners exceeded our expectations!
All day and night before the wedding it was pouring rain and all day the day of the wedding it was also constantly raining. My husband and I were certain that we were going to have our wedding inside instead of outside as we had intended. Michael said that they had really good luck with weather but I didn't believe him up until about 3 hours before the ceremony when it stopped raining and stayed cool and beautiful. I was so happy we were able to get married at the Wedding Walk where we fell in love with Elmwood Gardens.
Morgan was our Day of Coordinator and that woman is amazing! She has such a calm and sweet demeanor that helped me stay calm, cool, and collected all day! She also has the BEST handwriting I have ever seen! She did all the writing on the chalkboards and even on the sign that my nephew carried during the ceremony. She was such a fun and sweet person, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to be my Day of Coordinator! Michael was also fantastic! He went above and beyond to give us the perfect day. He even had the staff set up for the ceremony inside AND outside incase the rain subsided. He made sure we had everything that we needed and stopped by on occasion to give updates and check if we needed anything. He has such a fun personality and made sure I got everything my little heart desired. The bar tender we had was also fun and sweet and kept the drinks comin'!
OH MY GOD, THE FOOD!!!!!! I was in heaven eating that amazing food. Chef Pamela came up with our menu and it couldn't have been more perfect! We will never forget our wedding day at Elmwood Gardens. I could have never imagined

A beautiful wedding venue is not enough... Without outstanding service personnel and attention to detail one will be disappointed. ELMWOOD GARDENS HAS IT ALL! From the initial consultation till final cleanup, we were pleased with the services of DeDee, James and Sue. Their individual attention to detail, and fulfilling requests promptly was greatly appreciated on THE BIG DAY. They were steps ahead of needs that do "pop up". DeeDee is precious and went beyond expectation in getting to know the desires of the bride and groom. Her personal touches and creativity is what sets Elmwood Gardens above the rest. Selected vendors La Tee Da and Fatt Apple were outstanding. The facility is classy East Texas and not duplicated elsewhere. Best Wishes Team DeeDee! May God bless you in the coming years.

Elmwood Gardens was absolutely the perfect venue for my daughters wedding! It was the most beautiful setting- it looked like a fairy tale!
The staff & owners are so kind & helpful throughout the entire process. Even though they do many weddings, they make you feel like you are the only wedding they are working on when you talk to them. You are given their full attention. Laura Ann, the wedding coordinator, is absolutely fantastic! We can't say enough good things about her. She answers your questions & always ends with, " is there anything else I can help you with"? She keeps the day of the ceremony running smoothly and kept this Mother of the Bride as calm as I could be! The owners of Elmwood were also available to me. They were so nice & wanted all my needs to be met. I would definitely recommend Elmwood Gardens to others. I did have a guest tell me that he would recommend Elmwood to his friends as well.

The venue has a natural beauty in the outdoor landscaping and buildings surrounding. The main ball room has hard wood floors with a beautiful timber structure that really makes you feel right at home in a polished kind of way. There are many different places around the property to fit the need of any occasion one could think of. I think the biggest advantage of Hummingbird Hollow is having Michael and Pam by your side every step of the way in the planning process. Having a venue that handles the food catering, alcohol distribution, and linen, glassware, and silver coordination was a huge burden that was logistically handled by Pam and Michael which made the wedding planning run smoothly. In the industry of weddings it is rare to find a venue to help with all these moving pieces. The food Pam prepared was fantastic on all accounts and she cooks in a way that is complex while also giving a home cooked meal twist giving the experience of elegance mixed with hardy homestyle cooking, a hard line to walk in most cases. If you are looking for a venue that is classy, has natural beauty, and an energy of a rustic vibe this is the place for you. All in all 10/10 experience and it was all thanks to hummingbird Hollow and the incredible staff.

Advice for people thinking about having a wedding here:
-Ask Pam for her expertise in wedding planning and what vendors you should use to ensure smoothness.
-A lot of the beauty of the venue is outside so make sure attire is appropriate for that.

Having my daughter's wedding at Elmwood Gardens was the best decision I made. It was a beautiful venue! My daughter loved Dee and even though she put Dee thru the ringer, she never said a mean word and tired to accommodate all that she asked her to do. Dee and James made us feel like part of their family. Very professional when it came to organizing and helping to assure that the wedding flowed without any mishaps. The guests that attended were very awed by the lovely landscape and the way the property was laid out. Have gotten many comments on the originality of the venue and it's beauty. The wedding walk was awesome! Everyone is still talking about the Horse and Carriage entrance of the bride! It was a stunning picture that will stick in everyone's mind for a long time to come. I loved that it had areas for both the bride/bride maids, groom/groom men and even a place for mother of the bride to relax during a long day of rehearsals. Made a hectic day much more enjoyable. Would recommend any bride to enjoy the experience of having their wedding at Elmwood Gardens!

Laura Ann and the staff were wonderful. They all worked perfectly together so that I had to do nothing but walk down the isle! It was a fantastic experience and I'm so glad that I have no flub-ups or oopsies to remember from my wedding day!

It was a beautiful venue to have a wedding. The staff was very accommodating and wonderful to work with! Everything that I asked for, was done accordingly. We were so happy with how the day went. We couldn't have imagined it going any smoother! I would highly recommend Elmwood Gardens to any bride!

Elmwood Gardens was all I had hope and more! It is so gorgeous in east Texas in the spring and this rustic venue fits in perfectly. The owners and management are so sweet and helpful. It can be difficult at times to get ahold of them by phone. I would recommend email. And make sure you save the coordinates into your GPS when you get to elmwood because it can be very hard to find. Also, in the inclusive package, Fatt Apple is the caterer and if you go with that package, see if you can get another caterer. They aren't up to the Samar standards as the other vendors

Elmwood Gardens is the most exquisite outdoor location for a wedding. The Wedding Walk is so unique and creates lovely drama for the bride's entrance. There is nowhere else in the world I would have wanted to have my wedding.

The gardens are immaculately kept by the owner and master gardener with everything from flowers to trees to lily pads and more. The bride can be driven in in an antique car or drawn in by horse and buggy. It is a private location with cottages on-site for dressing the day of and the first night together. The reception hall is roomy and quaint.

We had 250 guests who have called our wedding the most beautiful one they've ever seen.

Our wedding was more than I could have imagined it. Laura Ann did a fantastic job of answering my 100s of questions and was very responsive. We got several complements on how beautiful our wedding and Elmwood Gardens was. Thanks for helping to make our special day memorable and perfect!

The catered food I was pleased with and the gardens looked nice, but Elmwood Gardens has recently come into new ownership and they really let the ball drop.
They have dogs and cats and at our meetings, we had the animals chewing on our clothes and biting our ankles. We even saw a cat crawling around the table and drinking out of the owners coffee cup where they had set out sweets for us to eat.
We still booked the venue but then had issues with the catering prices. Pam tried to lower the pricing by modifying the menu, just to have Michael rudely tell us later he would have never given us such low pricing.
The day of the wedding, my husband had to go but ice and cups and CLEAN some of the outdoor bar area because it was filthy, cups were not provided even though we were told cups would come with catering services and ice cost extra!
What really made me disappointed is when my family said they kept being turned away food and water, saying it was all gone even though we paid for 150 guests to eat and only had 110 guests show up.
At the end of the night when we drove off, there were flyer advertisements for the new outdoor movie theater in everyone's parked car window.
These owners should treat customers with respect instead of trying to nickel and dime while pompously suggesting they're the best. I think that's for me to decide and they didn't prove themselves in my opinion.

I booked my wedding with the previous owners in early 2015. Had the wedding 10 days ago. The venue was the best in East Texas under the previous owners, the new owners had changed things. We were told that they would clean up, the new owners told us it would be taken care of. Well, it was not. My family spent over an hour cleaning the reception hall and taking fabric down from the Wedding Walk, my father missed the majority of my reception because of this. The owners' dogs nudged open reception hall door while decorating, one biting my ankles, other pawing at me to play. We locked the doors once we got them out so decorations wouldn't get messed up. On the wedding day, the dogs were running throughout the grounds, coming up to the bridal cottage- where my dress and bridesmaids dresses were, causing us to stop hair and makeup to close doors and shoo them away so they wouldn't damage the dresses. My dad had to track down the owner and ask him to put the dogs up. Dog poop throughout the grounds, one of my guests stepped in it at the entry of the Wedding Walk; my photographer & husband had to help me watch for it to not ruin my dress or shoes. The wedding started, NO COORDINATOR. I had emailed owners multiple times months prior to the wedding to ensure a coordinator would be on site as stated in the contract. Also had a meeting with the owner and was told I would have a coordinator a month prior to the wedding; a family friend had to step in 10 min. before the wedding started to direct. When guests made their way to the reception hall it was extremely warm. ACs had not been turned on and were locked-so again we had to track down the owner to turn them on. Owner spoke poorly of my caterer prior to the wedding, I had a great caterer. Grooms cottage relocated, no window coverings- guests saw my husband change out of suit to leaving clothes; bathroom was also wide open with a glass door. Owner speaks down to you, as a client I received no respect. Very stressful experience.
