Beautiful ceremony!

Working with Charlie for our wedding was a wonderful experience! He was so easy to talk to and made the process of developing our ceremony super easy. We knew we wanted our love story to be told during the ceremony and Charlie sent us the perfect prompts and questions for him to be able to develop the perfect story. It was a great combination of a traditional ceremony with our own twist. We received so many compliments throughout our wedding night about the ceremony. Can’t recommend Charlie enough!

Exceptionally good experience - very happy

Mr. Cooper is THE VERY BEST wedding officiant!!! He is caring and kind from the get-go. He was in communication with us before the wedding and was open to customization of the readings, additional requests like not wearing footwear during the ceremony (based on our tradition), and a few more adjustments. We are so grateful for the wonderful energy and patience he carries with him!! Very, very happy that we were wed by Mr. Cooper

Charlie was perfect. He was a calming force during our stressful planning process, and he performed just as needed. He was efficient ant attentive. We always knew what to expect. 10 out of 10. Amazing.

Great Officiant!

Charlie Cooper was wonderful!! He was very quick to respond and very helpful in planning the perfect ceremony!!! Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for a very professional,experienced officiant, Charlie is the perfect fit!!! Highly recommend him!!!!

Great experience!

We are so glad to have Charlie be our officiant during our wedding day. He is so elegant and calm! Since we have guests that came from overseas, we had to do translation. The coordination was seamless. We couldn't thank Charlie enough for being part of our special day!

A wonderful small ceremony

We got married on 08.08.2019. It was a small ceremony and that was what we meant. We wanted a fast deadline and nobody answered my phone. I wrote to Charlie and got a quick reply. We planned the wedding date the same day! Charlie is a very nice and competent person. We are very happy that he gave us the wedding.

Amazing!

Charlie was absolutely amazing! We only got to meet him the day of the wedding, but he was an absolute professional. Our ceremony was short and sweet, but it wouldn't have been as good without him. Charlie was always responsive to our questions/concerns, and he was so ridiculously kind. We would recommend him to anyone.

Best small wedding ceremony

We were allowed to switch up some wording for the ceremony, I included a quote from one of my favorite novels, and the whole ceremony felt really relaxed and loving. It was a great day!

Friendly service, genuine ceremony

We were so happy to hire Charlie and have him officiate our wedding. My husband and I aren't super religious, but rather we wanted a genuine and heartfelt (and short) ceremony. Charlie graciously took our feedback and had a short and sweet ceremony prepared for us. He was very responsive and we even met during the planning so he could get to know both of us. He was kind, easy going and helped make the day go very smooth.

We cannot say enough about Charlie! He is so warm and kind and although we did not meet him until our wedding day, we truly felt like we had known him for years. He made our ceremony relaxed and intimate, which is exactly what we were going for. Hiring Charlie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!

Charlie was such a pleasure to work with, and we are so grateful to have him be our officiant. He was very flexible about everything- changes we wanted to the ceremony script; making time to meet us ahead of time; and most importantly being able to join us for a Friday wedding. My husband and I decided to marry without much notice. While working to coordinated schedules and our chosen venue, Charlie was incredibly accommodating. Charlie made our wedding so special. He was great to work with. We couldn't make our schedules work to actually sit down with him, so he discussed everything over email and phone with the groom. Charlie provided a few sample scripts and we got to edit them and make them work best for us. He was very flexible with last minute changes. And despite not having met either of us until the day of the wedding, he was so personable and during the ceremony connected with both of us. He was professional in every way and I'm so glad he was a part of our day.

Charlie was everything you want in an officiant. He is so helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process and he was so professional on the day of the wedding. We wanted a short but meaningful ceremony and Charlie provided exactly what we had requested. I would highly recommend him.

Charlie was amazing! I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better officiant. Things didn’t go as planned with my venue and we had to start a little late but Charlie was very understanding and super flexible. I was very nervous about the ceremony and speaking in front of everyone but he made it very easy to follow his lead. Thank you for making my day so special Charlie!!

My now Husband and I had a great small outdoor wedding at a park in Philadelphia. Charlie Cooper performed the service. He was sweet and very flexible as I made many changes to the standard service even minutes before it started. It was a same sex wedding and he was perfectly comfortable with it. I highly recommend him if your looking for a kind and helpful officiant for your wedding.

Charlie officiated our mid-January wedding, and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He was so easy to work with, and very flexible about accommodating our particular ceremony. He responded quickly, was very patient about our questions, and made the process of drafting our ceremony a breeze. Our ceremony wound up exactly the way we wanted it, due to his guidance and performance. Highly recommended!

Charlie single-handedly (and pretty last minute) made my dream of getting married in the same place my (now) hubby had our first date. Charlie officiated our wedding on March 17 2018. He is extremely professional yet laid back and easy going. We had a non traditional ceremony in a greenhouse. He gave us plenty of ceremony suggestions and met with us beforehand to go over the details of our ceremony. Charlie is available by email or phone and is very responsive. After 34 years together, we decided to get married! Finding Charlie online was the most fortuitous thing that could have happened and he made our wedding day reflect perfectly who we are. We wanted a secular ceremony with a few close friends in attendance. Charlie responded immediately to every question we had, made wonderful suggestions for how our extremely non-traditional wedding should proceed, and put us completely at ease with every little detail. He was such a calm, kind, and professional presence; we can't thank him enough! We would recommend Charlie to anyone without reservation.

Charlie was the officiant for our February 2018 wedding. He made the entire process as simple as possible, and made sure the ceremony reflected what we were looking for. Charlie was professional, calming and enjoyable to have present at our ceremony. He was personable and helped to calm the pre-ceremony nerves. I feel very lucky that Charlie was a part of our big day. He was responsive to questions, pleasant to work with, and he has a great speaking voice. I was a little nervous about standing and stating my vows in front of a large group of people, but he calmed my nerves and walked me through it. I’ll definitely recommend Charlie to all of my friends getting married in the Philadelphia region!

Being from out of state and planning a wedding remotely to be held December 26th, was not the easiest task. Finding Charlie's website, reviewing the facts about him and securing the date on his calendar helped. From the first contact, Charlie was responsive and professional. John and I reviewed the sample ceremonies and readings that Charlie provided. I suggested a meeting so that we could feel a connection to our officiant before the wedding. Charlie was very friendly, accommodating and open regarding other readings and offered suggestions based on his experience. The day of the wedding, the ceremony went smoothly, all went off without a hitch! We are grateful for Charlie and his service to us.

Charlie is one of the first wedding vendors that I booked and I am still so glad to have made that decision! My husband and I knew from the start that we wanted a very simple and straightforward ceremony and that is exactly what we got. Early on in the process, Charlie sent over several sample ceremonies which really made planning ours a breeze. Charlie is incredibly kind, professional, and so sincere. His relaxed style really helped to calm my nerves and made us feel so comfortable from the start of planning to the end of the ceremony -- which turned out perfectly, with much thanks to him!

Charlie really went above and beyond for our special day which we planned on very short notice. Throughout the whole process Charlie was very helpful and accommodating to both of us.

We didn't even have a venue until the night before our wedding and Charlie was there earlier than on time and made our day very special.

I would highly recommend Humbleman weddings and Charlie Cooper. Our day wouldn't of been the same without him!

Charlie is awesome! We wanted to do our wedding quick and he was very responsive, helpful and prompt! We wanted a very low key wedding with my husband and I and we had our wedding on his porch and beautiful backyard! It was very romantic and lovely! Charlie was the ideal officiant for us! We met with him a few months before the wedding and knew right away he was right for us. He was very flexible and listened to what we wanted and was happy to accommodate. He does offer religious and nonreligious ceremonies, which we thought was great. We had the option to write what he would say, or choose from a few options he already had, and make changes wherever we liked. We chose to have a short and sweet ceremony, and Charlie made it perfect. I would definitely recommend him as an officiant!

Charlie was an amazing officiant! He was very responsive and easy to work with, both in planning and on the wedding day. He was very professional, while also being friendly and personable. Charlie was so great for our wedding yesterday. From the very beginning he was nothing but professional. My husband and I were so lucky to find Charlie to officiate our wedding. Charlie was beyond accommodating, easy to work with, and very flexible. Charlie was a pleasure to work with - and made it so easy. Charlie was amazing. He welcomed my now husband and I into his house at our official meeting and was so kind. We talked for a while and I knew right away he'd be perfect. He kept in touch over the months of my wedding planning and always made sure everything was going smooth. I forgot my marriage license on the day of my wedding, my one panic attack moment, and he still made everything work out perfectly and smoothly. I couldn't have been any luckier to have had Charlie as my officiant. Charlie even emailed me when we returned from our Honeymoon to tell me how great everybody and everything looked and asked if I'd share pictures when they were available. Charlie was the absolute perfect officiant for our little wedding. We just had a small "us only" ceremony and chose Washington Square Park for the service. Charlie was truly excellent in helping us plan and was both professional and heartfelt/sincere during the ceremony. Charlie really lets you tailor your ceremony however you want. However he also has several excellent options for wording of the ceremony/blessings, which really took the pressure off of us to create something/look up readings. Charlie was amazing to work with! He was extremely flexible in the setup of our ceremony as we had our cocktail hour first, then ceremony, then reception. The ceremony was short, romantic, and very intimate with our friends gathered around us. Charlie was open to our plan and encourgaed us to make the ceremony exactly what we wanted. He even took the time to meet with us a couple months in advance to just chat and get a feel for each other prior to the ceremony, as we did not have a rehearsal. Charlie was our officiant for a non-religeous ceremony. My (now) husband and I were extremely happy working with Charlie on our wedding ceremony. He provided suggestions for our ceremony and the vows and was able to guide us through the marriage licensing process smoothly. He was funny and down to earth and it was easy to communicate with him. We met in person initially then contacted each other mostly through email and phone, which I preferred. Charlie is flexible and very easy to work with. Our ceremony was only 14 minutes long, from the grandparents walking in to the last of the bridal party walking out - everyone loved that! It was short, sweet, and truthful. Finding an officiant something we kept delaying. It seemed like a real headache to find someone who could perform a non-religious ceremony but give the event the gravitas that I had decided it needed (not pomp and circumstance by any stretch, just someone who could convey the meaning and understated emotion of a wedding ceremony). Then we booked our DJ (No Macarena) and Humbleman Weddings appeared on their list of recommended vendors. I checked out his website and knew we had found our guy.

We did not have a rehearsal and we really did not need one. On the day, Charlie met me as I was getting out of the limo and introduced himself. He was so unassumingly friendly that he really put me at ease. We used one of Charlie's sample ceremonies for our event and it was perfect. Simple but meaningful. Exactly what we wanted (though Charlie is very accommodating if you want to add your own vows, readings, whatevers). When wedding planning, the ceremony was something I often thought was just going to be the legal bit we did before the party, but it really was my favorite part of the day. Charlie has to take a lot of credit for that.

Charlie was great. From the day we met him we knew Charlie was our guy. A very down to earth and easy to talk to person. Charlie made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. He was very quick to respond to any questions that we had and was very helpful.

Charlie Cooper of Humbleman Weddings was the officiant for our wedding on May 17, 2014. From our first conversation with Charlie he was so laid back and sweet - we knew we made the right choice! He provided us with his "favorite" ceremonial layouts and they were written so beautifully! We even threw a bit of a curveball at Charlie by including a very "unique" ceremonial bit during our non-traditional wedding. He went with it and pulled it off amazingly! Charlie was PERFECT for our low-key ceremony needs! We had a pretty big wedding (120 people), but we wanted a simple and sweet ceremony, which he delivered! We were a bit anxious about finding an officiant who was completely secular and who we meshed with. Charlie put us at ease immediately. We loved that he's worked with same-sex couples and that some of his proceeds goes toward Native American causes. And since we live in San Francisco and were planning from here, we appreciated that he had lived here for a brief time in the past. :-) He was also very flexible with our writing practically the entire ceremony and worked with us to put things in their proper place. After the ceremony my husband and I took 10 minutes for ourselves in a room and Charlie actually waited for us to say congratulations and goodbye. He was great and I recommend him.

I highly recommend Humbleman Weddings. When I was first researching officiants, I came across a lot of gaudy, Vegas-like websites, with the words "We'll Marry You!!" flashing across the screen. It really turned me off at first. Finally, I came across Charlie Cooper's website and was quite pleased with his down to earth, sincere approach. I would absolutely recommend Charlie Cooper if you are searching for an officiant for a wedding or commitment ceremony. My husband and I were raised in different faiths, so we were looking for an officiant who would be able to incorporate particular aspects of each religion into our non- denominational ceremony. Charlie helped us accomplish that task and he also provided us with a list of readings that were very helpful. In the months leading up to the wedding, Charlie met with us a few times, and he responded to our questions in a timely manner. On the day of the wedding, Charlie showed up on time and he did a great job leading the ceremony.

Charlie was a great Officiant. He is very dignified and warm. Honestly, arranging this part of the wedding was the easiest part despite me thinking it would be otherwise ( paperwork and all that). Our ceremony was ver simple and exactly how we wanted it to be. Thanks Charlie!

Charlie was professional and prompt in answering any questions we had. We were looking for a short
