This was the last of 5 venues we toured, and as soon as our tour started we knew it was special. Jack sat us down at a table and explained why he loved planning weddings so much and how invested he was in giving us the wedding of our dreams. In every step it was obvious that the staff here enjoys what they do, and they made the process as easy as planning a wedding could ever be. We loved how all-inclusive everything was (didn’t have to worry about chair rentals or linens or even votif candles for the tables) They were so accommodating, even scheduling a private menu tasting for us when we couldn’t make their group event. Our coordinator Franque took care of absolutely everything day-of, from setting up all our family photos, to making sure the balloons and signs got where they needed to be, and she managed to keep all of us on schedule through the ceremony and into the night, so my husband and I could sit back and enjoy our wedding. The venue is even more beautiful than it looks in pictures and the seafront ceremony site was exactly what we dreamed of. This venue is a well-oiled machine and I can’t overstate how much we enjoyed working with them. Excellent food, beautiful ballroom, friendly and helpful staff. It was truly the wedding of our dreams and we highly recommend Hotel 1620 if you’re looking for a beautiful, seamless wedding!

We booked with Hotel 1620 because of the convenience of everything they offer within their packages. Living a 3 hour drive away, Franque and the rest of the wedding team were very attentive and responded quickly to all of my questions! The day was amazing, beautiful weather for an outside ceremony, which has the most incredible views and Frankie and the staff did amazing decorating and making one of the most important days in our lives so memorable.

We chose Hotel 1620 for a few reasons - proximity to Boston/airports, full service hotel (many out of town guests) and water front location and the venue was perfect! We loved that the package was all encompassing for food/bev, ceremony, reception, cake, and center pieces. The whole team at 1620 was so kind and accommodating and a special shout out to Stacy, Jack, Franque and Warren. Stacy is very good at her job and helped the day to go by seamlessly! The Regency ballroom is a lovely location and having the cocktail hour and bar right outside was great. The outdoor ceremony spot is so beautiful and some of guests were floored when they saw it! Having everything all in one place and so accesible for our guests was so great, and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone! They can handle small and large weddings with two different ball rooms, and the room the girls got ready in was great. The suite we stayed in was spacious and great for photos. Thank you Hotel 1620!

We fell in love with this venue right away. We love the ocean and having guests be able to stay on-site overnight was a huge plus. The pricing was reasonable and offered a lot of convenience. We cannot say enough about the hotel staff! Stacy and Tony were just incredible throughout along with every other employee we came into contact with that weekend. Everyone was generous, helpful, kind and a pleasure to talk to.

I knew I wanted to get married in Plymouth and Hotel 1620 was the perfect wedding venue. The ocean ceremony space is absolutely stunning. The hotel being situated right in downtown made everything so conviennent! Stacy and Jack were amazing to work with. Both went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was perfect and special. They are both two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Their communication was stellar which is so important during the planning process! They really made sure everything went smoothly and everything was perfect! We chose one of the wedding packages and we were so impressed with the value of the package. The food was amazing. Many guests complimented on the food! The hotel itself was clean and updated. Our guests were happy which made us happy! We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Hotel 1620.

We love Hotel 1620! At first, we were scared of what we were getting ourselves into with planning a wedding from all the proposals we’ve received. Then we went to Hotel 1620 and met with Jack! He was absolutely amazing and made me feel at ease with the wedding process! It was under our budget and everything came out perfect! Our other wedding coordinator Stacy was also amazingly helpful by answering all our questions and making all of our requests reality! I know for sure without both Jack and Stacy, we would not have had the wedding of our dreams! Thank you for everything, we truly appreciate you both and the whole staff at Hotel 1620!!

My daughter had her wedding at the Hotel 1620 in mid December '22. First let me say that the staff and the venue were superb. For those not having a church wedding...have your ceremony and reception at the hotel. It was perfect. There were no worries about transporting guests and/or bridal party-the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and room accommodations were all there. And on a day when weather doesn't cooperate-it was ideal.
The staff made each transition-ceremony to cocktail hour to reception flawless. It was perfect.
The food -from cocktail hor d'oeuvres to dinner was great. We also did the late night snack. Bartenders were pleasant and efficient-never saw a long line at the bar.
Finally, I can honestly say that Stacy and Jack were there from early planning through most of the reception. Stacy stayed through much of the reception ensuring everything went smoothly. She had introduced us to Franque (wedding coordinator) the night of the rehearsal. Franque took over for Stacy--and she could not have been more pleasant and accommodating.
I highly recommend the Hotel 1620-not only for the wedding reception but for the ceremony as well. Thank you Stacy, Jack, Franque and staff-we discovered a true gem with Hotel 1620!!

Wow. I don't even have the words to say how much I recommend Hotel 1620 for your event. I booked them for my wedding and it was the most magical day of my life. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue that has all the bells and whistles. Even when the weather decided to be awful, they jumped right into action to come up with a backup plan inside away from the rain. Jack Besozzi was the best wedding coordinator a girl could ask for (even though he is technically the catering sales manager), he was involved in every aspect of every detail that I wanted for my wedding and he made sure everything went off without a hitch. I can't thank Jack and his team enough for the best day of my life!!!

Hotel 1620 helped us throw the wedding dance party of our dreams. Their team along with the entire staff at Hotel 1620, made the planning process stress-free, seamless, and oddly enough enjoyable! Outside of the wedding day itself, the hotel staff graciously welcomed and accommodated our friends and family throughout the entire wedding weekend (because yes, we did pretty much take over the hotel for the whole weekend) Their team & vendors helped us coordinate a wedding that was more beautiful than we could've imagined in a location and venue that meant so much to us. From the beautifully lit, intimate ceremony space that their team went above and beyond to pull together for us to the details in the cocktail hour/ballroom, it was all so spectacular! From the food, everyone raved about, to the drapery & decor that we couldn't stop staring at, to the Flowers and cake, everything came together beautifully!

Our wedding weekend was an extremely busy one for the hotel but from a guest perspective hosting their wedding there, the entire team handled everything seamlessly. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the venue and how beautiful it all was.

Hotel 1620 is amazing! The entire staff was so attentive and made our son and new daughter-in-law's wedding day so special. Although they were disappointed initially about having to be inside for the ceremony due to weather, they made the space perfect and everyone enjoyed the warmth, intimacy, and beauty of the space. Service and food were fabulous. It was a long and busy year of planning and Jack and Stacy were always there to respond to our questions, offer suggestions, and assure us that the day would be everything the newlyweds envisioned. As a parent, I am grateful that the kids’ dreams came true for their wedding day. I can confidently say everyone had a wonderful time in large part to the efforts of the Hotel 1620 staff. Thank you.

I’m not sure where to begin. Gianni and his staff at hotel 1620 made sure our day was perfect. From the endless emails and calls, Gianni was always there to help guild me and answer all my questions. I always felt like we the only couple that mattered the entire process. The beach ceremony was breathtaking. The reception went very smooth and the food was amazing.The highlight for me was the horse and carriage we had for the bridal party to get from the hotel to the ceremony and back. Gianni nailed it with that recommendation and vendor, I felt like a true princess!
I can’t say enough positive things about hotel 1620. We had a perfect day and we can’t thank them enough.

I am so happy I chose Hotel 1620 for my wedding! Jack and Stacy are great. Stacy was really helpful in the weeks leading up to my wedding and on the wedding day, checking in on me throughout the day to see if she could help with anything and making sure we had everything we needed. I felt like I was in really good hands. Everything went so smoothly, and all of the food was great! Especially the clam chowder! That was a huge hit with all the guests. I am so grateful to Jack, Stacy, and the whole team for making my special day a wonderful one.

I cannot say enough about Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor!! What a fantastic spot nestled right in the heart of all the action! Our friends and out of town wedding guests enjoyed their stay at the hotel and loved not only the amazing location but also the awesome staff. Stacy coordinated the evening perfectly and ensured everything flowed beautifully. She was absolutely amazing to work with!! In addition, Gianni and Jack were fantastic as well and met with us prior to the wedding on many occasions to ensure we had all of our questions addressed. We truly appreciate all of the help from the dedicated staff at Hotel 1620! We used the outdoor space for our ceremony and absolutely loved the gorgeous views of the water. Our photos look stunning! The indoor ballroom for our reception was romantic and classic. We cannot express how perfect everything was at Hotel 1620!

Everything at the hotel was perfect! Gianni was amazing and so helpful throughout this whole process. He worked with us to help solidify every little detail over the past 8 months! Although there is an outdoor area to use for the reception, we decided to have our ceremony and reception in two separate rooms indoors which provided more than enough space and transition time between the portions of the night! The hotel is across the street from Plymouth Harbor so we were able to get our pictures by the water and all of our guests were close enough to everything that they were able to explore New England while they were here! Everyone that we talked to at the hotel from the bartenders to the wait staff, chef to receptionist, was so nice and helped us with anything we needed.

6/12/21 was my daughter’s original date and there were so many times I did not think it would happen. Gianni, Amie & Frankie and all the staff were amazing throughout. The food was excellent and everyone is still talking about the Filet and how big the portions were. The hall was decorated by Lovely Occasions and Jeap transformed the room into a magical space. Rooms were great too and after party was across the street at 1620 Wine Bar so no driving for any guests. Highly recommend the Hotel 1620.

Where do we even begin. From the moment we walked in the doors we knew this would be our venue. It is absolutely beautiful. Being a COVID bride and having to reschedule could have been a nightmare. However The Hotel 1620 made everything so easy. They were incredibly accommodating. From the minute we checked in until the day we left Gianni, Amy,Frankie and Greg were a dream to work with. They made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. On the day of, Gianni and his team took care of everything even decorating for the reception. Throughout the day Gianni also kept checking on me in person to make sure I was doing okay and to check if I needed anything. The food was fantastic. In fact everyone is still raving about the grilled cheese triangles with tomato soup shooters and the shrimp scampi. There are no words to express our gratitude for everything their staff did to give us such an amazing day. We would wholeheartedly 100% recommend
The Hotel 1620 for your wedding!

Our experience with Hotel 1620 was nothing short of phenomenal. Gianni, Franque, Amy and the entire staff were lovely and professional from start to end. From the planning details, to flexibility, patience, and then the wedding weekend itself we had no complaints. They made sure to follow every detail to a T and did not miss a beat. They truly took care of the entire wedding party from the time we arrived to the time we left. I would highly recommend Hotel 1620 for your one stop wedding shop from the hotel services to the entire reception itself.

Hotel 1620 hosted our NYE micro wedding. Amy was amazing throughout the entire planning process and the day of. The hotel was clean and following all covid guidelines while making sure we had a magical wedding day! We are so happy we decided to host our small intimate ceremony with hotel 1620 it was really a weekend we will never forget! 🥰

We were so, so happy with our wedding experience at Hotel 1620! From the beginning, Mary Beth Ryan was absolutely fantastic: organized, responsive, and flexible. Although we grew up in the area, my wife and I now live in DC and consequently were planning our wedding from out-of-town. Thanks to Mary Beth, however, our planning process was seamless; she was always in touch with us and willing to make time to meet with us for preparations whenever we came back into town. With plenty of time to go until the wedding day, she had our schedule ironed out, organized into a clear document, and distributed to the vendors for everyone to be on the same page.

From a set-up standpoint, the hotel has a really great area for a cocktail reception, which we loved because it gave a nice atmosphere for breaking up these portion of the wedding and the actual reception, which we did in the main ballroom. The ballroom was plenty of room for our wedding (155 people + a large band stage), and easily could have fit about 20-30 more. In terms of decorating the ballroom, Hotel 1620 and Mary Beth have a TON of recommendations and connections for interior decor, chair covers, and flowers, which was really helpful for us in finding creative ways to decorate the reception. Apart from the inside of the hotel, we loved this venue because it could not have been in a more central location (we did our rehearsal dinner across the street and the church ceremony within walking distance).

From a food and drink standpoint, everyone was extremely happy with the options (the steak is amazing). The chef was also very flexible and even went beyond the standard menu to help us craft some options for appetizers and late-night snacks.

Hotel 1620 knocked our wedding weekend out of the park! They have made this once in a lifetime moment so special. All of our guests have been raving over what a great time they had throughout the weekend and the accommodations. Mary Beth and her team were always there ready to help with anything you need throughout the whole process and are very responsive. They did a great job taking our vision and making it a reality. Great service, great food, and a great location, you cannot ask for much more. Book your wedding here and you will have a wonderful memorable weekend.

Mary Beth and the staff of the hotel went above & beyond to ensure that every detail of our wedding weekend was perfect. The Hotel 1620 hosted our guests overnight room block, our rehearsal, our ceremony and our reception. The food and the Atlantic Room were ideal for our small wedding reception but they also have a larger ballroom that could accommodate more guests if you have a larger wedding. The front desk staff and the Bistro staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and well maintained. If you are considering a South Shore wedding, the Hotel 1620 is the place to go!

My daughter recently had her wedding at the Hotel 1620. From the moment we walked into the hotel 15 months ago, she knew it was the perfect place for her wedding. Her ceremony was in the Atlantic Room which was a gorgeous space for a ceremony and then we moved onto the cocktail area before going into the Regency Ballroom for dinner. Mary Beth Ryan was wonderful to work with, no request was met with anything but a yes and a smile! She attended to all the details herself and along with John and Bernadette from the banquet staff made the day outstanding. We received so many compliments on everything from the food to the professionalism of the staff. We had more than 40 guests stay at the hotel and being none of our requests went unnoticed. We had many guests leave things behind and they were all waiting at the front desk. My husband left items in the dresser and I called the desk Sunday night and received a call back within 5 minutes that they had the items. I would definitely recommend this venue as a beautiful place to have your wedding or event!

As parents of the bride we could not be more pleased with Hotel 1620 from the very first meeting with Mary Beth we knew it was the correct choice. Mary Beth’s attention to detail is amazing! Most importantly she gets back to you immediately and answers any question you have. The food was superb all of our guests raved about it. If you are considering Hotel 1620 , Plymouth Harbor do hesitate you will be making the correct choice. The location has everything you could want.

Married my only daughter here at Hotel 1620 on May 27, 2018. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing! Marybeth was such a huge part of making the year the best year of my life! The entire staff, Bernadette, John, the servers, the front desk staff, Deb the beverage manager, the Maintenance staff that continuously had to "unlock" the ballroom for me! Everyone worked so hard to make this very special day one to remember! The extra detail and special requests were handled with ease. If I had more than one daughter I would not hesitate having another wedding here! Plymouth is such a beautiful town too!

We can't thank the team at Hotel 1620 enough for an amazing wedding weekend. From the start of all of our planning, Mary Beth was fantastic to work with. We had a number of special additions to the big day and working with her and Patty for the wedding reception and room blocks for our wedding over a holiday weekend was so easy and stress-free. When our ceremony site fell through we turned to Mary Beth and instantly had the solution to have the ceremony on site as well. Chef Johnny was fantastic and super accommodating to our menu changes and special requests. Bernadette and John in Banquets were absolutely amazing and so helpful in setting up and running our Wedding ceremony and reception. Our guests were raving about the entire evening. From the moment we arrived to the hotel friday for set-up, and check-in we were treated like VIPs, and it continued all day every day with every team member we crossed until we left the property. We felt so welcomed and special it was hard to check out. We would highly recommend the Hotel 1620 for a wedding or special event in a heart beat. Excellent place for a wedding. We stayed the weekend and so did over one-half of our guests!

Mary Beth Ryan worked tirelessly to make sure our sons wedding reception went off without a hitch. The facility and the entire staff were beyond a doubt the best choice we could have made.

We had our wedding at the Hotel 1620 and could not have been more pleased with EVERYTHING from start to finish. From the very first meeting with Mary Beth, the catering manager right through the morning after breakfast was not only professional... but truly perfect.
When we first looked at the hotel, we were a little cautious because they didn't get great reviews over the last few years. As we found out, the hotel just got new owners and they were committed to making the hotel as nice as the area it is in. And... they sure did! Every guest room and most common areas were completely overhauled in a wonderful and appropriate design. We were fortunate enough to choose the Atlantic Room for our wedding which was a wonderful place to hold our reception. It not only had the height of two floors of ceiling space ... it did so while still having a cat walk on the perimeter of the room which proved to be a great spot to put small tables and enjoy the the wedding from a fun and different viewpoint!
As it was a New Year's Eve wedding, we went with a heavy hors d'oeuvres menu and we were thrilled with both the quality and the quantity. The Chef was spot on from the time he did a delicious pre-tasting to the final evening.
The guest rooms had all been completely re-done and many of our guests commented on how nice they were.
All of the staff we worked with, from the front desk, to John and Matt in facilities to the GM who took the time to chat with us that day for quite a while... were extremely professional and ridiculously accommodating.
We highly recommend this hotel and it's staff for your day, too!

My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Hotel 1620 immensely! We looked at 5 other venues before choosing Hotel 1620. Their prices and packages could not be beat. We were so happy with the service and prices that we chose to have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception on site.
Mary Beth and her team were so helpful and did whatever they could to assist us in our wedding planning process.
I was very happy with their contracted florist Barry's in Braintree as well as the contacted bakery we chose, Montillio's. Our cake and pastries were delicious! Our flowers were fresh and vibrant.
We chose the filet mignon and chicken mayflower as our dinner options and both received compliments from our guests.
I highly recommend Hotel 1620 for anyone looking for an elegant wedding in a historic coastal town at an affordable rate!

We reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel 1620 for our wedding July 16th. Initially, we chose the hotel because of the phenomenal location- in the heart of Plymouth, by all the shops, bars, and tourist spots,- but I was taken back by that amazing service that they provided. The hotel is being renovated and although it was not completed, the whole hotel felt newer & cleaner then when we visited it under the last ownership. The renovation is wonderful but thank god the new ownership kept the same staff! Jenna, who helped us set up our wedding block, was incredible!!!!!! I cannot tell you how many times we reached out to her with a question, asking her to help us book conference rooms to get ready in, check on suites, or make a change to our block, and EACH AND EVERY time she would get back to us right away and help us with anything we needed. She is the best Mary Beth is also great! As the director of catering, helped up set up a brunch for the Sunday after the wedding and was very helpful and easy to work with. Additionally, the ENTIRE staff was sweet, super friendly and very helpful. Everyone had an amazing weekend and we really happy with our decision to have everyone stay there, as well as, our pre and post wedding activities at the Hotel 1620. I would highly recommend!
