Helpful and kind.

Our driver was safe and helpful. He helped unload the limo at the hotel on the night of our wedding. It was late so he gave us privacy as well.

Prompt, professional, courteous!

We hired horseless carriage limousine for our transportation from our venue to our hotel. Our driver arrived early and waited until we were ready to leave. He did not make us feel rushed and was very professional. The limo was clean and the ride was smooth. Our driver was wonderful and we had the best time taking in the joy of our big day during our ride to the hotel. Highly recommend using this company for any wedding day needs!!!

Bachelorette party

Planned a bachelorette party for my friend communicated online to set up details they always responded quickly and have the best price in town. Our driver was wonderful and very accommodating with last minute changes I would strongly encourage using this company and if I ever need a limmo again I will be using them.

Great Company

Fred was very responsive and made changes to our contract a few times with no issues. Our driver was friendly and professional. Overall a wonderful experience and will book all future events that need transportation with them. Highly recommend!

Professional, Punctual, Pleasant and Personable

From the first call Horseless Carriage helped me figure out the most cost effective and efficient way to coordinate transportation for myself (bride) and the groom and his family to the church separately. Our driver helped pack up everything that needed to go to the church for the ceremony and then unload...in the rain! Two limos were waiting after the ceremony to transport family and myself/groom to the reception. We never had to wait - everything was perfect. Very responsive.

The guy who runs the company, I believe Fred, is extremely helpful and nice. I let him know I would only need the limo for a short period in the beginning of the wedding and the for a short drop off at the end of the night, and he worked with us to drop the price and make sure that we get the exact services we were looking for without overpaying for the whole night. The limo itself was very nice, and our driver was very respectful and courteous. I would recommend this company.

I'm sorry it's taken 3 weeks to give feedback - trying to get back to "normal" around our house after months of wedding planning. I arranged for the SUV limo for my youngest daughter's wedding day - to take her & her bridesmaids to the wedding venue. The limo was gorgeous, the driver (A.J.) was wonderful - friendly, polite, super attentive, and the girls all loved it. I even had to call the day before, in tears, thinking we weren't going to be able have the girls stay the night (etc.) and Fred was so understanding & caring. It really touched my heart. Thankfully, a few hours later, things straightened themselves out and all was well. The girls (7 bridesmaids + my 7 year old "flower girl" granddaughter and a few extras LOVED it! Most have never been in a limo before, let alone an SUV limo. I could not be happier with the vehicle, the service, the customer service or the personalities of the owners & driver. THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!

Our wedding party had so much fun traveling together from our wedding to reception in our HLC limo. Our limo driver was on time and very friendly! We loved taking pictures in front of the limo as well. Would definitely use HLC again and would highly recommend!

We hired Horseless Carriage Limousine for a round-trip transport from the Norfolk Airport to Cape Charles, VA. They were, by far, the most reasonably priced. We had a group of 8 women, so they sent their stretch limo. It was nice in appearance. Our driver was lovely! She was very polite and accommodating. We had no problems either way. Everyone at Horseless Carriage Limousine made us all feel comfortable and special. I would highly recommend Horseless Carriage Limousine.

The company was extremely easy to contact and offered me a quote right away. Because of my work schedule it was easiest to communicate via e-mail, and I never had to wait very long for a response. Fred and his team were extremely professional and very flexible especially with last minute changes. The drivers were very friendly and helpful; the company was so easy and comfortable to work with. I couldn't be happier with the service - a great value with the service I wanted. When the vehicle arrived (on time!) they changed the limo out at the with a "hummer" which was huge with all the "bells and whistles." Although it was not the "style" of my wedding, the upgrade was complementary as Fred felt I would be more comfortable with my wedding party in a larger vehicle. I appreciated that kind of personal attention to detail. Highly highly recommended and will use again when the occasion arises. .

Exceptional service. The chauffeur was friendly professional and on the top of his game. Unfortunately, our limo was in a car accident so they upgraded us to a SUV limo and they also upgraded us at the end of the night.

I didn't ride in the limo, just reserved it for my sister (the Bride), her husband (the Groom), & the Wedding party along with some family members. They stated to me that they enjoyed this ride & was glad I thought of it. Most of all, they enjoyed & was completely satisfied with the driver, Randy, who not only chauffeured them, but also photographed them so the entire group would be in the picture! I will be using Horseless Carriage services again & I do recommend using them. The next time, I will be in the limo!

Horseless carriage did an exceptional job and I'm glad we selected them for our wedding day. Unfortunately, the limo which was supposed to take us to the church was in an accident however horseless carriage upgraded us to a SUV limo in order to get us to the church on time. The chauffeur was amazing friendly and very professional. The only thing was during the second limo ride there was no ac or power and it was hot but we didn't care cause we slept until we got to the reception anyway. They also upgraded us on the ride home in the get a way car from the reception so all in all it was a great experience.

We hired Horseless Carriage for our daughter's wedding. WE hired them to take to the church and then to the reception and at the last minute added the trip home from the reception. They were on time for each segment...never had to wait. The driver was professional and the car was clean. Only thing I would have said a negative on was whoever stocked the car forgot drinks so bride/groom had nothing on drive home. We know things happen and it was not a major. Being on time/professional and a clean car most important and they did that in spades. Also, Fred the owner (think that's his name) was a joy to work with. Thanks again for taking one less stress away :)

I chose Horseless Carriage Limousine services to impress my husband for his 30th birthday and...it was simply perfect! The representative I spoke to, Fred, was super helpful and very responsive to my e-mails. Moderate price, very clean limousine and top notch service. Very competitive rates. Very professional. On time. Called 24 hours before event to confirm and go over details and/or questions. The only negative was that the vehicle (14-passenger town car) was an older model (2005??). I would recommend this company.

So I order for service and spoke with feed . He was very responsive . Unfortunately his limo broke down 3 mile from my house . He did call and let me know what was going on as well as sending back up . Back up arrived twenty minutes later and we got to my venue on time .

The owner and driver were very nice and professional....Unfortunately the limo was not worth the price. The stripping was coming off the side of the limo, not all the lights or buttons didnt work on the inside and the "window" that separates the driver from us was a horrible eye sore that looked like cardboard. It def wasnt worth the price!

This limo service really pissed me off on my wedding day. For one how the limo breaks down at the church and we had to find a way to get my bridal party to the reception hall. Then they leave the limo at the church all night. They didnt pick the limo up until the next evening. Never again.

I booked a limo with Horseless Carriage Limousine for my wedding a few weeks ago and was actually appalled by both the limo itself and the driver's professionalism. If I am spending over $500 for a service (that we actually used for about 30 minutes tops--the rest was waiting time) I expect it to be perfect. For the hefty fee I paid, this is what I got:
A driver who made some completely racists comments to both myself and to others (about how he needs to bring his gun since there are a lot of back people in Portsmouth and it will be night-time). A limo which completely reeked of cigarette smoke (even though there is a No Smoking sign inside), had torn seats with the stuffing coming out, and wires hanging from the radio equipment on the ceiling, dangling down into the passengers' faces. Also, it was so wobbly, it felt like the back wheel was going to fall off at any second while we were driving, which is pretty scary. When my wedding party and I got into this limo, I was mortified...and then nauseous and had a headache after 5 minutes from the stench of smoke. At least the guy was on time, I guess---that is about the only positive point I can think of.

This was such a waste of my money, I wish I hadn't booked with this business, and I will NEVER recommend this to anyone.
