Hope's pictures speak for themselves - they are simply amazing and our wedding gallery was everything we could have asked for. Only a few short days after our wedding, Hope provided us with a sneak peak of 40+ photos - we were not expecting to get a preview so soon after the wedding and it was the BEST surprise. We were also able to order and mail out Thank You cards quicker using photos from the sneak peak.
While it is easy to see how beautiful and artistic Hope's photos are from her portfolio, it was Hope's communication and kindness that makes her and her team one of our best vendor choices. For our engagement shoot, Hope helped us find the best spot for photos and used this time to get to know us and our style. The entire process was seamless end to end.
When it came to our wedding day, Hope helped us complete our day-of timeline and had a check-in call with us to make sure she had a list of all of the family/friend photos we wanted to have. Hope and her team did an amazing job making sure we had photos with all of the people we wanted, on top of amazing candid photos. After the wedding, multiple told us how much they loved our photographer!
Wedding planning can be difficult and stressful, but working with Hope made everything easier and never caused any additional stress.
Hope's team combines amazing photographs with amazing communication and assistance. All of our photos were received within 2 months and we loved every single one! I would not hesitate to book with her! -

Hope was fantastic from start to finish. I got married on 7.9 at The Hamilton Manor but she also photographed my rehearsal dinner! We received all of our edited photos (over 1300!) a few days ago. The turnaround time is incredible. She’s incredibly helpful, her editing is spectacular, and the photos turned out phenomenally! I’m obsessed with how everything turned out and I cannot recommend her enough! -

This is supposed to be a review, but it might turn into a love letter. We hired Hope for our wedding back in January before we ended up having to postpone. Thankfully, Hope was able to move her contract with us to our new date. Then we decided we still wanted to be legally married in January in addition to our big postponed party in December. Thank goodness we were able to have Hope shoot both weddings. I don’t know how to be chill about this: HOPE IS IT. She is talented beyond measure, kind and sweet as can be, and incredibly fun to work with. As soon as I found her website, I knew I had to book her. She was the very first vendor we booked, and she’s been on this long multi-wedding journey with us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She and her whole team have so much experience, boundless creativity and artistry, and they LOVE what they do. That’s the best part. It is so clear that Hope loves Love, and loves capturing it and showcasing it at its most beautiful and magical moments. That’s the word for Hope - Magic. Book her, and then be prepared to weep with joy when you see how well she captures your blissful magical day. And for everyone to talk about how amazing your photos are, constantly. Truly, and without a bit of hesitation, we recommend Hope 100% times infinity. Love you Hope! -

Hope was absolutely wonderful to work with - she is friendly and sweet and has a calming demeanor which made me feel at ease on my wedding day! We love our wedding photos and are so grateful to have them to look back on. I know it’s been a crazy year for vendors as they have additional weddings due to reschedules from the pandemic, but Hope still sent us sneak peak photos right away and our full gallery shortly after. Including too many photos with this review because I couldn’t pick between them all - can’t recommend Hope enough! -

It was an absolute delight and pleasure to have Hope and her team photograph our special day. Hope’s talent shines through her ethereal and beautifully poised photographs. Her flexibility, professionalism, and calm nature ensured that we were able to enjoy our wedding day with a worry-free and joyous spirit. Hope went above and beyond when we were having trouble pinning our boutonnieres and we are so appreciative! We were overjoyed with the care given to the sneak peek album and the variety of classic and modern style photographs. When we received the complete album we were taken back with all of the special memories so thoughtfully captured. The album highlights all of the emotions of the day and it is wonderful to have them all preserved so beautifully. Hope is an angel goddess in photographer form. She was my photographer for my November wedding, and I can’t say enough about the quality of her work and her professionalism on the big day. My husband and I were a little nervous when it came to our wedding photos, since neither of us are huge “picture people.” I was so amazed at Hope’s ability to put the both of us at ease in order to capture our wedding day perfectly. I mean, I was there, and the photographs make it look even more amazing than I remembered! I know that we are going to cherish these photos forever--both my mom and grandmom already have giant photographs from the day up on their walls. I have recommended Hope to everyone I know, and I still can’t believe how lucky I was to be able to have her as my photographer! -

Where do I start! If you’re reading this... you should start by calling her and booking your wedding date.... are you back? Ok... seriously... Hope was so incredible and everything I could’ve asked for in a wedding photographer! From being SO SWEET, accommodating, professional, putting my mind at ease and talking me off a ledge a few times throughout the day 😂.... It was pouring rain nearly the entire day of our May 5th Wedding, but that didn’t stop Hope for a second from getting the most amazing outside shots of us- ALL thanks to her because I was ready to call it a day and just take pictures inside our reception venue ! We have adorable umbrella shots as well as some without and you cannot even tell it’s raining in them! She has such a creative eye, and is truly an artist! Lauren who was with her was equally as sweet and amazing! Choosing a wedding photographer was one of my biggest decisions in the whole planning process, as it is for many brides... look no further than Hope and her team! So much love and thanks ! -

It's hard to describe the delight that is working with Hope. First, there's the actual photo taking. Hope is so friendly and outgoing that she made even me and my camera-shy husband feel like models. Then there's the moment she emails you a link to your digital gallery, and you start sobbing because the whole day looks even more beautiful than you remember. She manages to capture every little moment when you thought to yourself, "I wish I could stop time right now." We loved that her wedding package includes an engagement session (important to me and my husband so that we could feel comfortable with her on our wedding day), a second shooter on the big day (so no moment is missed because it happened across the room!), and the option to add on film images. It's amazing how much value you get in this package. Hiring Hope was one of the best decisions my husband and I made in our planning process, and we cannot recommend her enough. -

Hope was actually the second shooter on our friends wedding, and her gorgeous photos saved the day when their main photographer barely showed up the day of. They sang praises of her talent AND her reliability, and highly recommended her work! When we were looking for wedding photographers, we knew we wanted an ethereal style but without washing out all of the colors as is often seen. I always get a little disappointed seeing photos thst are so blown out and you can’t see any details on the wedding dress, and having put so much thought into the details of the day, we wanted the photos to reflect and preserve all of that! Hope’s style of work plus her glowing recommendation completely fit the vision of what we wanted! She was joyful to work with from the very beginning. We booked her over a year in advance and she was responsive throughout the whole process. When we proposed to do our “first look” off site from our wedding venue, Hope was supportive and completely willing to travel the extra distance to capture that special moment. She and her second shooter, Lauren, were so sweet and lovely to work with, I think in another place and time they would be awesome people to just hang out with - the vibe they gave off was almost like caring friends which is exactly what a stressed out bride needs during the day! They got gorgeous shots of everything from our first look up through the dancing at the end of the night. The pictures capture the beauty and magic of the day, and the colors look gorgeous and dreamy. She was a calm yet fun presence throughout the day. I’m constantly getting complements on the beautiful pictures! The only thing I would say to brides moving forward with planning is to prepare a list of photos that you want! Hope was great about asking if there were any other photos we wanted and in the moment, we couldn’t think of anything, but looking back there are a few people we wish we took pictures with or other shots that would have been cool! We will cherish all of the photos we have forever! We would 100% recommend Hope’s magical work, and are so grateful for her capturing our day in the most beautiful way! -

Hope Helmuth is absolutely amazing! I knew I wanted to use her the second I got engaged. Her pictures are so romantic and natural- totally my style. Working with her was such a joy- from our engagement pictures to day of. She relaxed me so much throughout the day and was able to get every shot we wanted. She is also super creative and had us (bride & groom) do some amazing shots throughout the reception location. I cannot recommend her enough. She even sent us a preview of our wedding day photos the day after! It was so awesome to see some pictures that quickly. Best decision I ever made was hiring her! She is so so so beyond talented. I am beyond thrilled with our pictures! Hire her- you will not be disappointed!!!! -
Sarah Sent on 10/03/2018My husband and I booked Hope as our photographer after he showed me her work on instagram and I was in awe of how beautiful her pictures were. They went to high school together, so it was nice to have the foundation of a personal relationship to build off of, which made making this decision much easier!
From the very beginning, Hope listened to our wants and expectations, worked with us to create the perfect package, and her execution was flawless. I mean... FLAWLESS.
Hope and her assistant, Lauren, showed up right on time. They managed to get all of our detail shots done before I was even done with my hair. She was a calming voice amongst the hustle and bustle of a 13 women bridal party, and did an incredible job at organizing my family of 25+ people during our family shots.
The photos turned out absolutely perfect! They beyond exceeded our expectations and are something we will have to cherish for the rest of our lives. She captured each moment so beautifully; when I look at the photos, I can remember what I was feeling in that moment. There aren't enough words to explain our gratitude to Hope and her team for giving us the gift of being able to relive the best day of our lives. -

Hope Helmuth Photography provided incredible, timeless photography for our wedding day. We were blown away when we got our photos back. She made me look like a natural in front of the camera when I am definitely not — she is so talented at bridal portraits. Some of our favorite photos also ended up being the candid shots she got throughout the night. Her and her second shooter, Sarah, were so unobtrusive getting these shots I never even noticed them snapping pics! If you’re looking for a calm, laidback photographer who takes natural beautiful photos you will enjoy for years to come, this is your team. -
