Amazing Experience
I truly cannot say enough amazing things about my hair and makeup experience for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Amanda completely understood my vision and brought it to life even more beautifully than I could have imagined. I felt so, so beautiful and that feeling is priceless on your wedding day.
The entire morning was calm, joyful, and incredibly relaxing. She has the most perfect space for getting ready, comfortable, beautiful, and ideal for everyone to be together. My bridesmaids and family all looked stunning, and we genuinely had so much fun laughing and spending the morning together.
One thing that meant so much to me was that she even came to do touch-ups later - simply out of the goodness of her heart because it was SO windy during our photos. That level of care and attention made such a difference and shows how deeply she cares about her brides.
Everything was perfect. I would recommend Amanda a thousand times over to any bride who wants to feel beautiful, relaxed, and completely taken care of on their wedding day.

Highly Recommend Hopcraft Collective
Communication with Amanda from the beginning and throughout the wedding process was seamless. I selected Amanda, because she has a versatile team…I saw results of previous clients on her website and Hopcraft Collective knows how to work on all hair types (curl power girl here)! She is such a personable person, so it made it easy for me to open up. I am more of a slick hair back with gel, no make up kind of person, so I was hesitant, but knew I wanted to be a natural princess for my wedding day. When we did the hair and makeup run through, a friend accompanied me and provided Amanda with input. Amanda did not mind answering questions or receiving input from me or my friend. During the trial run 2.5 months prior to, the day before and the day of the wedding, Amanda was a constant encourager and provided honest input. Wedding day, she was with me getting ready, first look pics, wedding party pre-ceremony pics, after ceremony pics, pre-reception entry, dress change out, hair shift to updo…she was there making sure hair and make up were on point…having her present at all those key points made a huge difference!! Because of her ability to make me feel comfortable in things that were not normal for me, on my wedding day, I felt like a true princess!! Had I not listened to Amanda’s feedback and trusted her expertise, I know I would have been disappointed in myself for not heeding someone with her abilities. I am so happy with what she delivered, so yes, I highly recommend Hopcraft Collective!

Amanda was an active help from start through the end of our ceremony. She was available from the beginning and gave advice on several vendors to reach out to - many options. I hired Hopcraft Collective for my Daughter’s November 2025 wedding. I found them to be an easy to work with company. All communication was clear and in a timely manner. No pressure, suggestions given, however it was only suggestions. The stylist Amanda was professional and amazing to work with. My daughter, the bride, told me how much she enjoyed that Amanda really listened to her and what she wanted. My granddaughter, at a later time, told me the same thing. The Groom even made the comment, “If you need a makeup artist for any other upcoming events, you should definitely call this lady back. I have nothing but high praise to sing for Amanda and her team. We brought them in to do hair and make up for 10 of us on my wedding morning and they did the best job on ALL 10! I've never been a part of a group in which not 1 person was in the bathroom afterwards changing things about their hair or make up.
Something else that makes her team so spectacular is their expertise; if you sit down in the chair with questions or some indecisiveness, they'll offer you up great advice and steer you in the right direction. I could not recommend Hopcraft Collective more as the absolutely delivered. Their services are an investment but all your people looking and feeling their best is 100% worth the investment!

Two Beautiful Brides!
Hopcraft Collective was fantastic to work with through our entire wedding process! With two brides, they had their hands full and made us both feel so special and beautiful! We worked with Cheri for hair and Makena for makeup. Both were amazing! They both worked with us so well to find the perfect styles for our big day. Amanda and the Hopcraft Collective Team were absolutely incredible. I was quite nervous to book hair and makeup for 10 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 6 flower girls, as I knew that would take an entire team of highly skilled and talented individuals, but the Hopcraft Collective Team went above and beyond. Everyone absolutely loved their hair and makeup, and no one looked caked on or fake, but more so an elevated version of themselves, which was amazing! Amanda was incredibly flexible with the trial, and the day of, my makeup wasn't running even a little bit, and my hair looked perfect (somehow) the entire day, so much so that I only took a body shower to save my hair for the following day's brunch! With a wedding party as huge as mine was, I was expecting pure chaos the day of, but each of my bridesmaids came away from hair or makeup with a huge smile on their faces, and a new appreciation of the member of the Hopcraft Collective team assisting them. The whole team was incredible, and I am very grateful for the Hopcraft Collective for making our day so effortless and special.

Amanda and her team were absolutely amazing! She was very easy to work with for my wedding hair & makeup. Each person who received her services LOVED the outcome. Her suite to get ready in was beautiful and spacious and she provided non-alcoholic beverages which made planning/bringing everything a breeze. The weekend before the wedding I also treated my bridesmaids and moms to a lipstick making class that Amanda offers. This was a cute and unique non-drink based outing that we all really enjoyed.

For my hair, I was particular on how I wanted my hair to sit for a half up, half down up do and Megan stayed and edited it during the trial until it was perfect. Absolutely loved my hair and makeup
Highly recommend Hopcraft Collective for your wedding! Amanda was a pleasure to work with in the up front and then we had amazing stylists of Jodi (makeup) and Ashley (hair). We got married in Southern Vermont and they were on time, so friendly and absolutely nailed the looks my party of 6 was looking for - from bride to bridesmaids to mothers to flower girl. I wasn’t able to do a trial ahead of time since I live across the country but was immediately put at ease once Ashley and Jodi started working on me.
It was really important to me to still look like myself on my wedding day, and Jodi and Ashley absolutely understood the assignment. They glammed me up but I still felt naturally myself. When they say they specialize in natural looks, they aren’t lying. Thank you SO much Jodi, Ashley and Amanda!!

My artists were Cherie and Jodie and both were very dedicated to delivering the vision you are looking for. I had a trial with both, and Cherie could tell that I wasn't happy with what I initially thought I wanted, and offered a second trial free! Amanda and her team are, simply put, the best. We had to hire Amanda last minute (3 months before our wedding- due to unforeseen circumstances) and she worked with me to make sure I felt comfortable and beautiful and worked with me to fit a trial in before our wedding day. She did my hair and makeup for both the wedding day and the night before. She gave me the sassy & fun look I wanted for Friday night and the glowy, natural, still look like myself but slightly glammed up version for my wedding. She helped me pivot and remained calm when it rained and I couldn’t wear my hair down anymore. We added services the day of and she didn’t blink an eye. Her team gave me eye patches on my wedding day when I was a little overserved Friday night. They helped me feel my best and my makeup and hair lasted through the rain and all the dancing. Amanda and the whole team at Hopcraft Collective were absolutely incredible to work with! The team did the hair and makeup for myself, my mother, and my aunt for my wedding. They were impeccable. Amanda in particular paid so much attention to detail and wanted to make sure that her work was prefect, and that we looked amazing all night (which we sure did!).
I cannot recommend Hopcraft Collective enough. Not only was the service flawless, but Amanda and the team also brought such a positive and fun energy to the wedding experience overall. Amazing experience with Amanda and her team!
Amanda was incredible to work with. She is fun, calm, and made me feel so comfortable. She was able to do my hair and makeup exactly the way I wanted it for my wedding! She even came to my apartment months prior to do the trial run! She also made the wedding party look perfect as well! On my actual wedding day she even came back right before my ceremony to help touch up my hair, which was beyond what was expected. I highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for someone to do their hair and makeup for their wedding.

Amanda made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! She and her team did both hair and make up for me, my bridesmaids, my mother and hair for my mother-in-law and flower girls. We all looked absolutely gorgeous! I did an extended trial with Amanda and knew as soon as I left that I needed her the day of! I had done a trial with a different vendor first and the experience I had with Amanda was unmatched. I never knew my hair could even look like that- I was blown away! Amanda did such a phenomenal job on everyone's makeup from the bride and bridesmaids to the mother of the bride and groom. I love how everyone looked like themselves, but a bit more glammed up. She worked with everyone's personal preferences and everyone loved how their makeup turned out. We received so many compliments. Amanda herself is such a kind person and was a pleasure to work with. She was so professional and her responses were extremely prompt. We had to reschedule our wedding twice (thanks covid) but she was flexible through all of that.

Just Fabulous
Casey Powell and Sara Jane absolutely killed it for my wedding. They styled hair for myself, 8 bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid, and my mom on the day of my wedding. Each style was more stunning than the next, and I was extremely happy with my updo as well! Both ladies were super flexible when a major hiccup happened that morning and they had to travel to a new location. Amanda Hopcraft was also very pleasant to work with and super communicative throughout. I'm so grateful that I chose their team to make us look our absolute best!! All of my bridesmaids were thrilled with their look as well, which was important to me! :)

Gorgeous hair and makeup and great people
Amanda and McKenna did hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my four bridesmaids the day of my wedding. Amanda was very responsive throughout the planning process and arrived right on time the day of the wedding. They both really took the time to understand what each of us wanted to our specific look based on the photos we all showed. Everyone was so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out, and each of my bridesmaids said they loved how friendly Amanda and McKenna were and that it made the day even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Blown Away! Book Her!
I am so thankful that I booked Amanda to beautify me for my wedding day! I actually booked her for my wedding as well as an Adventure Session with my photographer. Not only is she just an awesome person, her work is on point! I barely wear makeup, I never blow dry my hair and so many HMUAs cake makeup on to the point you don't even look like yourself...and she was perfect. The quality of the makeup was great and I Iooked like an elevated/elegant version of myself. Not to mention my hair was perfection! My best friend saw how great she did and even asked to add services, it was so great she was flexible. She also did a beard trim for my hubs. Booked two weeks before my wedding without a trial and everyone looked amazing!
I had booked a hair and makeup artist over a year before my wedding and was set on my look from the trial when she backed out 30 days before the wedding. I scrambled to find someone local and did another trial but we didn’t share the same vision and ultimately it didn’t work. After doing two trials and still not having anyone I was feeling so disheartened. I came across Amanda’s page 16 days before my wedding and I could see the consistency and quality of her photos (which I thoroughly stalked of course). I reached out and she quickly setup time to connect and talk about my needs and vision. There was a quick sigh of relief from our first conversation and I booked her instantly with no trial. Obviously this was a gamble but with all the changes our wedding had gone through, I didn’t have the energy or time with two weeks left.
I could not have made a better decision. Amanda was everything we could have wanted and more. She was meticulous with planning and scheduling- a huge relief to me as a Type A person. In a few hours, and ahead of schedule, she was able to do everyone’s hair and/or makeup flawlessly based on pictures or just discussion. Her ability to interpret and translate a few Pinterest photos and bring something to life is incredible. Some of my bridesmaids have very thick hair and we’re truly shocked at how quickly their hair was done, how great it looked while feeling secure, and it stayed perfectly in place the entire night. She is truly talented and used high quality products that lasted ALL DAY. I was in a unique situation booking so close to my wedding but Amanda was amazing, made my day stress free, and everyone looked gorgeous.

Amanda and her team were incredible for me and my girls during my wedding day. I had a lot of makeup artists that I was in between - a lot of girls from social media and what not - but what mattered to me at the end of the day was someone who knew what she was doing and had gone through this a million times. A large team that was ready to work and be there for me the day of. They were incredible! During our trial run, she explained and answered all of my questions and we practiced and talked about the things we needed to fix on the day of. When my wedding day rolled around, she remembered and it couldn't have been easier! She 100% took her time to make sure I was happy. She even happily spoke to my bridesmaids and everything worked beautifully. I definitely recommend her! I think what matters more than just being able to "do her job" was the fact that she could tell me common dos and donts, what to expect, and really understood the time crunch. I loved her! 100% wouldn't have traded her on my special day. Thank you tons Amanda!

Exactly what I was looking for!
Amanda was the absolute perfect person for our day and a total blast to work with! My husband and I were married last summer in Vermont (for those of you who do not know Amanda works in New England during several months of the year!). She was able to create exactly the look that I wanted (dewy, fresh, clean skin with a focus on the eyes). She also provided me with some amazing skin care tips during my trial that were total game changers. I truly felt like I looked like me, but the absolute best version of me. Amanda was also able to create a look for my mother and mother in law that was natural and comfortable for both of them (neither wear much make-up and had a lot of worry about looking "done-up" on this special day). In the same sense she was able to create a more dramatic flare for my sister in law who was looking for something a little bolder. especially for her eyes. Basically, she is extremely gifted, versatile, and able to listen to whatever look you are interested in and nail it! I appreciated how straightforward and honest she was, it really helped put me at ease on my big day. Lastly, Amanda works incredibly fast which was also impressive with the quality of the work she does. Book Amanda and her team and you will not be disappointed!

I can’t say enough positive things about Amanda and her team! From the very first time I made contact with Amanda, I knew she was just who I wanted for my wedding day. She was wonderful to work with during trials, accommodated last minute schedule changes, helped my bridal party and our Moms/Grandmothers look and feel their best, and made me feel like an absolute princess on my big day. I have long hair that doesn’t hold style well, yet my hair style survived a windy outdoor ceremony with humidity, veil removal, and dancing the night away. My makeup was natural and elegant, and also survived the weather and sweat as I was all over the dance floor. She exceeded my expectations and I would very highly recommend her!!

From the moment I talked to Amanda Hopcraft on the phone, I felt at ease and comfortable telling her about my vision for my hair and makeup. The makeup trial went perfectly. She took the pictures I took on Pinterest and made it even better. Amanda did an amazing job on hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids on our wedding day. My hair and makeup stayed in place even with the wind and all the sweating on the dance floor. I just felt so relaxed and at ease with Amanda doing my hair and makeup. The best thing I did was book Amanda and her team for my wedding! They were truly AMAZING! I had a hard time finding hair and make up for my wedding in Vermont (I am from downstate NY). My first call with Amanda I knew I had to book her, she immediately calmed my nerves about everything and was so helpful. She was quick to respond to every email and question I had! Her team is just as amazing as she is! My bridesmaids are still talking about their hair and make up I don't think i've ever seen such talent as I did with Amanda and her team. I had the privilege of having Amanda for make-up application for myself and 8 other girls the morning of our wedding and a make-up trial on the day of my engagement photos. I have started retyping this review over and over again because I just do not even know where to begin with how happy I was to have found Amanda! From the start, she made it easy and by my wedding date I felt like we were old friends. We started off with emails and phone calls to talk about my vision which soon turned into "our vision"- I think she's a mind reader, or maybe just a really good listener :), because she just got it.
I live in Philadelphia, but my wedding was in the Adirondacks in upstate New York. Working around our schedules, Amanda was able to make a trip to Philly, not once, but twice for my hair and makeup trials. I had changed my mind about my wedding dress (which would mean a new hairstyle, too) and I texted Amanda right away. She didn't even hesitate and we set up another time for her to come visit for a second trial. Amanda did my hair and makeup for my rehearsal dinner, too. A fun ponytail with soft makeup to reflect our casual evening. It was perfect. The woman can do a killer pony! Then came the wedding. Words cannot express how Amanda made me feel that day. When I look back, getting ready is still one of my favorite memories. Not only did Amanda make me feel like the most beautiful, but natural version of myself, but she made me feel comfortable and calm as we chatted the afternoon away and shared stories of our lives. Amanda did my bridesmaids hair and makeup as well and they couldn't have been more beautiful. She even offered to beautify my mom and mother-in-law who did not originally request any hair or makeup up. To sum my long and mushy review up-I feel SO grateful to have found Amanda who is not only extremely talented in what she does, but an amazing soul, too. THANK YOU!

Amanda was recommended to me through my wedding planner. Choosing a makeup & hair stylist was one of the more stressful things I had to do, because they had to be extraordinary (& I have very high standards). Upon meeting Amanda I knew we were on the same page, since every photo I shared with her she loved. I didn't have high hopes for the first trial however, since Pinterest and all other social media sights have created unreachably high expectations for just about everything...including my own wedding hair & makeup. Well Amanda not only nailed it with the first trial, she made it look better than the pictures! I was so incredibly excited from that day forward knowing I would look exactly how I always hoped I would on my wedding day with the help of Amanda!

I hired Amanda and her assistant to do my hair and make up and my bridal party and we all looked stunning! Amanda really works with you on what you want. She also did a spray tan for me a couple days before my wedding that was spot on. I have fair skin and did not look orange, it was perfect. She also has a great personality and is a joy to work with. The entire bridal party plus mother of the bride got hair and makeup services from Amanda Hopcraft. Everyone's hair looked fabulous and the makeup was glamorous without looking over-done. I have never had my makeup applied so beautifully and I looked really nice in the photos.

Amanda was the most ideal hair and make-up artist to work with on my wedding day. She is completely committed to delivering the final product that her bride and clients envision. She can replicate any picture you provide her and will gladly make any adjustments that you request. I did a trial with her a few months before the wedding and on my wedding day, I brought her pictures of a completely different look and she executed it flawlessly. Amanda did mine, my mother's, my husband's mother and my maid of honor's hair and make-up and we could not have been more satisfied with her performance. All aspects of her work stayed fresh and in place all night (even after a reception entrance that involved an upside down flip and hours on the dance floor). I flat out love Amanda Hopcraft and her team! I first met Amanda when she did hair and makeup for my engagement photos. She is so warm, friendly, and funny that I had a blast chatting with her while she worked her magic. I had never had my makeup professionally done, and I had never felt so beautiful before then. She knew just what to do for engagement photos to make me look like myself, but glowing. I do have very sensitive skin and allergy issues, and Amanda had some great recommendations for skincare in order to improve my skin in the year of time between the engagement photos and my wedding. I went with her recommendations and my skin really improved.
For my wedding, my two bridesmaids and I had our hair and makeup done by Jaycee. I had a trial about a month before, and while I absolutely loved the trial hairstyle, the makeup didn't really feel like my personal style so I asked if we could change a few things for the big day. Jaycee was kind and receptive to the requests, and my wedding makeup was absolutely, stunningly perfect. My bridesmaids were also thrilled with everything! Even in the midst of dealing with her store being under water from Hurricane Matthew the day before, they came together and were able to be a part of our wedding day. It has taken me a year to write a review- which is sad because Amanda was TRULY a gem. She did a really great job. I first met Amanda a few days after her studio was totally demolished by a hurricane. She was resourceful in finding a place to hold my hair and makeup trial, and she and Julia wowed me despite everything else going on in their lives. She checked in with me to go over the day-of timeline about two weeks out, right when I was stressing the most. Amanda, Julia, and Jaycee were professional yet relaxed and fun on my wedding morning, showing up bright and early and getting me + 7 bridesmaids ready on time. People complimented my zen, but I owe it all to Amanda and her team setting the tone for the day.
Hair and makeup both lasted from early morning, through the first look at 9AM, ceremony, reception, sunset photo shoot, and the Super Bowl Party - well over 12 hours...okay, let's be honest, I still rocked them on my flight and first day of the honeymoon, since we flew out so early the next day. If Amanda and her team are available for your event, grab her! You won't regret it.

She is amazing, I had many friends and co workers tell me how stunning my makeup was. I showed her photos from Pinterest and she delivered on the look I was going for. She also made all of my bridesmaids look stunning and made each one look unique but still keeping with the style of makeup I was going for. Also the hair stylist she brought made my hair and those of my girls look amazing, it was all perfect. They are also a blast to be around!

Amanda described herself as "the Anthropologie of wedding makeup" and I think that's a good descriptor. My makeup was long lasting yet subtle and lovely. I don't wear a ton of makeup day to day (eyeliner, mascara, brow pencil), but I still felt like myself once my makeup was done. All my bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done (I have a pixie cut so I didn't need that!) and it only took us about 3.5 hours. I went for a trial and Amanda listened to my preferences and to what I wanted.

As someone who doesn't normally wear a lot of make-up, and have had absolutely terrifying experiences being part of weddings, I was definitely nervous about who the make-up artist would be for our wedding. Amanda made me feel at ease from the get go. She embraced our lack of experience with her world, and gave us very practical and useful skin care tips.
I felt quite purty at my wedding, and that's a feat! The make-up did not feel unnatural in any way, and I had no idea my hair could stay as curly as it did for that long. It's definitely a new feeling for me to actually feel comfortable with that much on my face and in my hair. Ok, it really wasn't that much by most standards, but it was for me. We were also grateful that Amanda has had experience with same-sex weddings, as she had specific tips that we didn't even think of and very grateful for.
Jaycee was Amanda's assistant on our wedding day, and together, they prettied-up the flower girls, mother of my bride, our maid of honor and man of honor, and of course, us! They did a great job on everyone. And everyone loved their work and felt incredible that night.

In fact we ran ahead of schedule with hair and make-up all morning. My husband and I were married on May 7, 2016 in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. We live in Daytona Beach, Florida so planning an out of town wedding was a little nerve racking. My wedding was planned from Naples and was an interesting process with the distance. Finding Amanda and her staff was a god send. I absolutely loved having Amanda as my make up artist for my wedding day. She was so fun to work with and I loved my wedding day look. She did exactly what I was asking, which was to look natural, but just the more glamorous version of my usual self. I look back on my wedding photos and have no complaints at all and just love the way my make up looked.
I had a frustrating moment when the artificial eyelashes were causing my contact to freak out and Amanda stayed calm and just helped me over and over again until it was fixed. I was grateful she was so helpful and staying calm when it was so close to go-time and I was starting to get upset since I couldn't see out of one eye! She was really helpful and calm.
My friends and bridesmaids all look gorgeous because of her. I highly recommend Amanda!! She is the best.

Y'all. Stop looking for a makeup artist and hire Amanda right. now. The events leading up to my wedding were a total disaster, including a botched spray tan from a fancy spa in Ponte Vedra which I will not name here. I went to my hair/makeup trial on Friday before my rehearsal. Julia, Amanda's mother-in-law and resident hair stylist, said "honey, you know Amanda does spray tans right?" As soon as Amanda walked in, I showed her my zebra, orange, terrible spray tan. She told me, we can't let you get married like that. So, on Friday night, even though she had house guests, she came to my hotel room at 10pm after my rehearsal dinner to respray me the night before my wedding. And by the next morning, it was PERFECT.
And that isn't even talking about her main service--makeup and hair. My makeup was FLAWLESS. I was so worried leading up to my wedding that I wouldn't look like myself, but it was so perfect. Every single one of my girls looked perfect, too--not overdone at all. And Julia with hair--I had envisioned having my hair down and wavy on my wedding day. However, the weather had other plans, and I didn't want to end up with flat hair after being rained on. So we decided at the last minute that we would put it up in a hairstyle that I could take down after the ceremony, and wear it wavy. Without even a pinterest picture to look at, she put it up and it was exactly what I wanted. Not to mention--Amanda and Julia are so funny and personable and awesome to have around on your wedding weekend.
Long story short, brides--hire Amanda. Without question. She and Julia are worth every penny!

Amanda and her assistant were great! They were both really friendly and receptive to the wide array of personalities in my wedding party. Having them while we were getting ready put me at ease and most importantly they did a fantastic job! (Amanda even helped my maid of honor finish her wedding toast!)

Amanda is just a wonderful human!! I chose her services based off of her amazing reputation and great personality. She can put any bride at ease and leaves nothing to be questioned. You can put all of your trust into her services and team without worrying. She did such a wonderful job giving me exactly what I was looking for with barely any direction at all. It was a relief to have someone so capable to rely on for such an important and stressful day. I am beyond pleased with my hair and makeup experience and results.

This is the third time I've had the pleasure of having Amanda do my makeup, and I was just as pleased this time as I was the other two. I typically wear neutral and minimal makeup, but for my wedding I wanted to go all out with a dramatic eye and heavy makeup. She did exactly what I wanted, and the results were great. She took extra time with me, ensuring that some problem areas were covered to my liking so that it wasn't seen in my photos. Amanda is always fun to have in the room with you on the wedding day - she knows how to keep the mood light and exactly what to say to calm your down when the nerves get going or the stress gets high. I highly recommend Amanda and her team for your on location wedding makeup! You will not be disappointed!

This was an enjoyable event... we called it "the palace of beauty". Amanda and her hair technician arrived promptly, took over my bathroom with such ease, one would think it was their shop. They worked happily and efficiently, keeping someone in the cue at all times and making all happy and beautiful. Even the flower girls got the make-over. I was impressed with their timing, good nature, capabilities and ease. Very nice.

They were super easy-going, up-beat and fun to work with! Amanda and her team made sure you were happy with their work and made great recommendations/suggestions- trust them - they've been doing this for a long time and know what will look best in pictures and stand up to the heat/humidity/whatever weather you're dealing with! They were also the fastest, most efficient working makeup team I have every been a part of on a wedding day which was so nice when you don't have to wake up at 7am to start getting hair and make up done! lol. Highly, highly recommend them!
