Like a good friend helping plan our honeymoon

Teresa is fantastic! She's easily reached via email or the phone and is "all in" on your trip. We asked for a few excursions which she planned early and when one was cancelled due to volcanic activity she got us our refund as quickly as possible after the trip.

Early on during planning she also provided advice on costs of travel, what was happening with rental car availability during COVID, and many other bits of advice which were accurate and set us in the right direction.

You can't go wrong with Honeymoon Islands!!

Amazing travel agent!

Teresa helped us plan our amazing honeymoon to St. Lucia. She went the extra mile in helping us pick a new destination after COVID put a damper on our original plan. She found a perfect location that had the relaxation for my husband and adventure for me. Not only is she knowledgable, but also truly cares about your experience. I would highly recommend her services to anyone planning a vacation!

Worked with our budget and exceeded expectations

Teresa was super helpful and responsive to our needs when finding the perfect place for our honeymoon. She suggested Unico 20 87, which wasn’t a place that immediately popped up when searching on our own. Having a travel agent, like Teresa, make that suggestion and give us the honeymoon upgrades was so worth it. Unico was so amazing and far exceeded our expectations!! We had an incredible time, and we would go back in a heartbeat. It was much less stressful to have an all inclusive resort as well. The covid protocols weren’t restricting at all! At the same time, it was nice to see that they were going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and safe. We honestly wouldn’t change anything, except maybe stay a little longer 😉.

Do yourself a favor and let Teresa plan your Honeymoon!

I met Teresa in a wedding planning group that includes vendors and brides. I posted a Honeymoon related question in hopes of getting more clarity on where my husband and I should go. Teresa commented that she knew a lot about the particular area I was asking about and said I could message her. I was wary at first, because I have never worked with a travel planner and I assumed there would be a hefty fee, but I figured I'd ask anyways. She immediately gave me ton of tips and also asked if I was already working with another travel planner because if I was she didn't want to steal business, which I thought was a very awesome thing to say. I wasn't working with anyone, so after some thought I took the leap and decided to work with Teresa (even though I am in California and she is in Virginia). We got on a phone call and she asked me a lot of questions about what we wanted, our budget, etc...she gave us a few options and told us to look at them and get back to her. Upon making a decision (Unico 2087 resort in Riviera Maya), Teresa planned and booked our flights, hotel, and transportation to and from the airport within the day! I was shocked at how easy the process was on my end! I am an avid trip planner and usually love the process, but this Honeymoon was really stressing me out so it was so nice to have it all taken care of so easily. When we had an issue mid planning, Teresa worked hard to make sure we could still work out our Honeymoon, which was SO appreciated! We had such a wonderful time on our Honeymoon. I have already suggested her to an engaged friend and will do them same for my husbands cousin who just got engaged, when the time comes! Thank you Teresa!

Teresa was very helpful in finding us a great honeymoon destination. After having a few calls with her we decided that an all inclusive would work best for us. We had been recommended to visit the Bahamas by another travel agent and Teresa was quick to let us know it wouldn't be very warm during our stay. I don't think anyone wants a cold honeymoon! Teresa was very responsive and we will definitely use her in the future. Thank goodness there are still some pleasant people left in the world. :)

Working with Teresa was great! She's very knowledgeable on the different locations. We ended up going with her recommendation of St. Lucia splitting the trip between Jade Mountain and Sandals Grande and was the BEST honeymoon we could ever hope for.
Will definitely be using her for future trips!

Teresa from Honeymoon Islands has been Amazing since we first worked with her a couple years ago! We found her through a family member who used her to help plan their destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. As I was on my way to said destination wedding all by myself, my flight was delayed for half a day. Needless to say, I was very upset since I was only already going to be in Mexico for less than 48 hours anyways. Teresa talked to me the whole time I was delayed at the airport, helped cam down, searched for alternate flights, etc. I felt like she really had my back and was going above and beyond to help me out—and she wasn't even technically my travel agent at the time!
So when it came time to start thinking about my own honeymoon, naturally my husband and I contacted Teresa. She was always quick to respond and she listened to what we wanted for our ideal honeymoon and roughly how much we were wanting to spend. She then gave us 4 or 5 great options, so as not to overwhelm us. We had tons of questions about each of the options so we could best choose what fit us, and she always answered them thoroughly, honestly, and in a timely manner.
My husband and I ended up staying at the all-inclusive Excellence Resort in Playa Mujeres, Mexico (about 30 minutes outside of Cancun) for 8 days, and it was a dream honeymoon! From the friendly staff and service to the delicious food and wide variety of activities/excursions offered, everything was impeccable! We are already talking about going back for our anniversary at some point, and when we do, we will be calling up Teresa!

Amazing, quality and Personalized travel itinerary you will not get on any travel website.

Teresa made our honeymoon dreams come true! I was not an easy bride to work with, our honeymoon was something i dreamed of since the day we got engaged and in my mind it needed to be "perfect" even though i had no idea what that meant... I was indecisive and confused and didnt know where to start. From the minute my inquiry went out she responded quick, addressed every question of ours and even set aside time to have a phone date so she could hear our voices and become more personal. She was SO patient, worked with us for almost a year through phone calls and emails helping us sort through the Caribbean, Greece, Bora Bora etc...always keeping in mind "who we were" and what we liked, respecting our budget and also helping us see the big picture at times. Our Honeymoon was island hopping and she helped us plan every detail to perfection. I will dream about our honeymoon for the rest of my life. Teresa also became a voice of reason at times by saying, You have your whole life to find love with travel. Things you forget when honing in on too many details. I HIGHLY recommend leaving your trust in her hands, she will never steer you wrong. she has been all over and only knows the best of the best! Teresa helped us plan the perfect honeymoon! She responded quickly to our initial inquiry and was super friendly. She booked us on flights to Beijing and Bali that were cheaper than we were seeing online, and we didn't have to go through the hassle of looking at different options, layovers, and prices. She gave us a long list of adventures to choose from, that we booked ahead of time. It felt absolutely amazing to have every detail of our honeymoon booked so far in advance, so I could spend the remaining months planning the rest of the wedding.

Our adventures (whitewater rafting, volcano hike for sunset, and temple tours) were absolutely amazing. Every ride to/from the airport, hotels, adventures was taken care of which was so nice. They were also very flexible, letting us add the elephant safari park just the day before. We absolutely loved the hotels that Teresa recommended in Bali. She was also super responsive. When we were in Beijing, trying to check into our flight to Bali (the next morning) and the online check-in wasn't working, we emailed her to make sure everything was in order. Teresa called the airline to inquire, and turns out you can't check-in online from China, but her quick response was really appreciated and we traveled stress-free.

I would highly recommend using Honeymoon Islands! Our honeymoon was absolutely perfect!!

I had the most wonderful experience with Teresa. She perfectly planned our honeymoon in Moorea and Bora Bora for us. I found her through wonderful online reviews and had never used an internet-based travel agency before. I am so glad I did because we had the best time. Everything she had control over was perfect and I am so so happy with all of her recommendations - from hotels to room choices to where to spend the money on upgrades. We decided to go to Bali, and with it being so far away and different from anything we'd ever done, we really needed some help and guidance! Teresa was so helpful! She had been to Bali a few times before and was able to navigate us through planning out all our hotel stays and tourist activities. Teresa was great to work with. She helped us pick a resort that was perfect for our honeymoon. She is friendly and took the time to quote several different trips for us. She made sure the airline and resort had all of the information they needed, and the trip went very smoothly. We will be booking through her again when it is time for our next big trip!

Teresa from Honeymoon Islands was so helpful when planning our honeymoon! We knew we wanted something warm and special, but in a very approachable area where we could explore restaurants and bars. She helped us choose the Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas (and she provided lots of choices & places) and it was absolutely amazing and stunning! She guided us when the best time to go was as well. It was everything we wanted to relax, the quality so superior, and with Teresa's help - we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom suite! The resort blew our expectations out of the water. She also helped arrange our spa appointment and a few other activities. I would use her for another trip in the future.

Turtle Inn:
1) All the staff knows you by name
2) Food was very good, everything from local cuisines to Indonesian cuisine
3) Excursions were excellent – Snorkeling (swam with sharks, loggerhead turtles and stunning reefs) Monkey River tour (saw howler monkeys, alligators, tons for birds, snakes, etc...)
4) AMAZING bungalows with thatched roofs, screened bathroom, and outdoor shower.

Blancaneaux Lodge:
1) All the staff knows you by name
2) Much smaller and more private resort
3) Food was AMAZING… the lodge has a large garden they use to feed the guests. They even make Neapolitan pizzas!
4) Excursions were excellent – Went to Caracol (Mayan archaeological site) by far the best archaeological site we have been too. We also did a canoe cave tour with was unique in its one right
5) Bungalow was overlooking a large waterfall.
6) Toucans are flying all over the grounds (such a beautiful bird)
7) Had a private dinner on the deck of our bungalow during sunset
8) Since it’s in the mountains it was a little chilly. The turn down service puts warm water blatters in bed for you.

Teresa Belcher counseled my wife and I on planning the perfect Honeymoon. I found Honeymoon Island on-line and with minutes of an email i received a phone call directly from the owner of the company Teresa; we talked for no less then 45 mins then did a 30 min call with my wife and I. Her responsiveness is impressive and her knowledge is second to none. If your trying to plan a honeymoon and need advice or counsel call Teresa. We now use Teresa for all travel related bookings as well. Her recommendation of Hermitage Bay in Antigua was spot on.

My husband and I tarveled to Sugar Beach resort in St. Lucia for our honeymoon. We were assisted by Teresa of Honeymoon Islands with the planning for the trip. We had already had several resorts that we were interested in when I contact her. I found Teresa to be very knowledgeable about various resorts and pleasant to work with. She arranged all of our flight, hotel transferes, and reservations and everything went smoothly. All of the information was mailed to me in a nice travel folder to keep me organized.

Sugar Beach was fantastic. The property grounds and beach are beautiful. The staff was very attentive. The food was great and we really enjoyed our excursions (some of which were recommended by the hotel). We especially enjoyed going to the Sulphur Springs followed by a spa treatment. Additionally, our villa was awesome. Very private and spacious. All in all our 8 days in St. Lucia were paradise. We look forward to working with Honeymoon Islands on our next vacation.

Honeymoon Islands was the perfect resource for us to book our honeymoon. After doing quite a bit of research on our own we felt we knew the BEST resorts to choose from at St. Barths but didn't know if we were ready to do it financially. Honeymoon Islands helped us find the BEST deal on the Island and even worked to get us an upgrade while at Eden Rock! This resort is the finest and because of their relationship with Honeymoon Islands they go above and beyond for their guests. When we started to get cold feet about how much we were going to spend on our honeymoon Teresa helped us budget a way to make it work to get our dream honeymoon. I've recommended this to everyone as they help you think through questions for your big week vacation that you don't think of! LOVE LOVE LOVE Honeymoon Islands - go to St. Barths as they REALLY know this island!

Working with Teresa at honeymoon islands was a charm! She was available for telecoms with me and my husband and was always available for calls in between. We werent sure where we wanted to have our Weddingmoon, however once we explained how we envisioned our moment and vacation with the kids Teresa knew right away that Beaches Turks and Caicos was it for us. It was amazing!!!!! The ceremony was so pretty and there were quite a few options to choose from. The Spa really did a terrific job and made me feel like a princess. Turks and Caicos was the perfect family Weddingmoon and Teresa really explained everything to a T!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Jason and Melodie Krueger

Teresa was great to work with! She is extremely knowledgeable about travel destinations and offered helpful, upfront advise. She listened to our requests and arranged all of our travel - very stress-free process!

She was also fantastic about making changes after the original destination (Anguilla) we picked decided to close for the off season- we were booked at another resort in no time (which I think actually turned out for the best because we were able to do a lot more exciting things at our final pick- Maroma Beach, Mexico!)

My Wife and I traveled to Bora Bora in November 2011 for an early 10th wedding anniversary trip. All travel arrangements and bookings were done though www.honeymoonislands.com (though Teresa, the owner).

The booking process was incredible easy, professional and fast. We knew we wanted to travel to Bora Bora, but didn’t know where to stay. Over a couple of days Teresa and I corresponded via email and in no time she had custom tailored a trip of a lifetime for us. Everything was booked, done and included.

Several weeks before the trip we were sent all the itineraries, passport holder and information booklet. Professionally done to say the least! I cannot recommend www.honeymoonislands.com enough and will be using them for my future trips.

Four Seasons Review - 5 out of 5 stars
For the trip we spent 5 nights at the Four Seasons resort in Bora Bora. The resort is simply amazing. The grounds, facilities, people, food and activities are absolutely 5 star. We were picked up at the Bora Bora airport by the four seasons 30’s vintage boat and taken directly to the resort. Check in was being greeted with cool drink and literally in our overwater Bungalow with 5 minutes. It was simply amazing.
We have stayed at many 5 star resorts in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Fiji and this easily passed them all. To sum up the experience – one day while have lunch we were talking to a visiting couple who had traveled throughout the south pacific. Their comment was “how do you take a vacation after this. It simply is all downhill after this.” If you can get to the
Four Seasons – don’t miss it.

St. Regis Review – 4.5 out of 5 stars
After 5 nights at the Four Seasons we caught the quick boat ride to over to the St. Regis, for 5 nights there. This is the resort made famous by the “Couple Retreat” movie. The St. Regis itself is wonderful, and if you simply go there, you will be amazed, but my wife and I quickly were comparing it to the Four Seasons and it just wasn’t in the same class. The grounds, gym and accommodations were all a notch below the Four Seasons experience. They simply showed signs of wear and aging – where the four seasons showed none of that. The St. Regis did have an amazing lagoon to swim with fishes and a catamaran to use. But for the same price we would definitely stay at the Four Seasons over the St. Regis.

Teresa did a fabulous job planning our 25th Wedding Anniversary to The Four Seasons Nevis. The amenities of our hotel were above and beyond what we expected. We wanted a relaxing vacation and The Four Seasons was just what we were looking for. We loved the fact that we could look out our bedroom and see the Caribbean and even enjoyed a candelight dinner on the beach.

We had an amazing time on our 16 day Oceania Cruise, the Marina was such a luxurious ship and it was terrific way to celebrate in style. We can’t say enough good things about the ship, it was the epitome of elegance. The staff was extremely attentive and food was simply superb. Every meal was special and the staff went out of their way to accommodate any of our requests. The excursions were so well planned and there were lots of options. On days when we wanted to just relax, we hung out by the pool and visited the Canyon Ranch Spa.

We are so grateful for all your help and advice. You are not only an absolutely phenomenal vacation planner but you are also very kind and helpful. You think of all the details and went out of your way to make everything perfect. Thank you so much! We can't wait to book our next vacation.

We first used Teresa from Honeymoon Islands 9 years ago for our honeymoon to Las Ventanas in Los Cabos, Mexico. We had a wonderful experience with her and she helped us pick the perfect destination. Since then we have continued to use her services and each time she has been extremely prompt responding to our inquiries and has provided us with great insight and advice on a vareity of locations (Peter Island, Nevis, Little Palm Island, etc). Teresa seems to know everything about all of the resorts she represents and has never let us down with her recommendations.

We most recently had Teresa take care of our travel arrangements to Little Palm Island, in Key West. She was able to maximize our time away from home with great flight times and quick, but reasonable layovers. She took care of booking our transfers to and from the airport to the resort and made sure they resort knew we were coming for a special occasion. Teresa helped me select a perfect package for Little Palm Island and we had an amazing time. The resort is very secluded and relaxing and was just what we needed for a weekend away. The staff there could not have been nicer and they do a very good job of meeting and exceeding our expectations. All in all it was a great getaway and we will definitely be using Teresa again next year for our 10th anniversary trip. Many thanks, Teresa!!!!

Our wedding planner recommended that we use Honeymoon Islands, and Teresa was wonderful in all stages of the honeymoon planning, booking, and travel process. She was incredibly responsive over email and was always happy to schedule a call with both my husband and I when we were sorting through various options. We used her to plan a trip to Napa and Hawaii and had a fantastic experience in both places. Her recommendation for a B&B in Napa (the Blackbird Inn) was especially wonderful - my husband and I thought the B&B was a steal for the price, which is really saying something in Napa Valley. When we decided at the last minute to change our departure date (wanting to see family on Sunday after our wedding), Teresa was able to change our entire itinerary for us without causing us any stress. Even more, when we missed our flight from San Fran to Kauai due to an accident on the Golden Gate Bridge, we were able to call Teresa and she helped us rebook our flight and contact our hotel about the late arrival. She is now helping us plan a trip for our one-year anniversary as well. Her service extends from your first contact with her throughout your entire trip, and she made our overall honeymoon experience as relaxing and stress-free an experience as possible.

Honeymoon Islands was great and took care of all my needs, responding quickly to all my questions and concerns. Moreover, when American Airlines changed my flight schedule, Honeymoon Islands responded quickly to change my flight plan and get me back home on time.

I will definitely consider using Honeymoon Islands again in the future!

Teresa was amazing to work with while planning our honeymoon. While we had a few ideas initially about where we wanted to go, she shared with us a variety of options, helped book our hotels and kept us in our price-range. She also helped steer us in the right direction for activities and made sure we got the real Hawaiin experience we were looking for. When our flight out was cancelled she was immediately available to contact the hotels, help with flight itineraries, and just listen while we waited for luggage after a 48 hour trip. It was very re-assuring to know someone was there to help us fix any problems during a 6 hour sit on the airport tarmac. I would highly recommend and use again for a future trip!

Teresa is knowledgeable and efficient. She quickly collected all our necessary information, booked our flights, and booked our hotel within 2 or 3 days. Our honeymoon was to Aruba and we stayed at the Stellaris Marriott. Since we won her services through a contest in a magazine, we won our airfare, room, dinner at one of the restaurants, and a bottle of champagne for free. When we arrived at the hotel, the hotel reception staff didn't know about the dinner or the champagne. I e-mailed Teresa and within hours she responded back to the managers of the hotel reminding them of the agreement they made. Her response was effective but her tone was a little intimidating to me which made me cringed a little as I read it. My husband and I were happy not to be recipient of her wrath. As far as responsiveness, we asked her about restaurant recommendations and other tips knowing that she had been there over 10 times. She told us of a couple restaurants and referred us to the official Aruba tourism website. Perhaps she was too busy to give us a more thorough response. Other than that, she was pleasant to work with.

We found Teresa after reaching out to several travel agents and really no decision on where we wanted to go for our honeymoon. After reviewing her website and reading her blog we knew her expertise is what we needed. After receiving a recommendation of St. Lucia, we spoke with Teresa about a recommendation of a luxury resort in St Lucia. After a little more research we decided we wanted to do something special, we shared our thoughts with Teresa and she came back with a few options for us to choose from. We selected a social/romantic resort for the first half of our trip, followed by an ultimate quiet luxury romantic resort for the two of us. We stayed at the Sandals Grande Resort St Lucia for 4 days and stayed at the world renowned Jade Mountain Resort for 3 days. If you ever want to experience fairy tale luxury please try the Jade Mountain Resort, I would strongly suggest you reach out to Teresa to book your next special vacation - no matter what. The package she put together allowed us to enjoy luxury at its finest without breaking the bank. Honeymoon Island definitely lives up to its mission statement "if you can dream it, we will create it"

Our honeymoon in Antigua was exactly what we envisioned, thanks to Teresa! She helped us narrow down the plethora of options to the best place for us- Hermitage Bay- which was the perfect mix of luxury, seclusion and quality service. Although it was at the upper end of our budget, it was worth it to literally be in paradise after a hectic wedding weekend and we were in good hands with Honeymoon Islands attentive service up to and including a personal airport shuttle, private beachside picnic-- never having to worry about a single detail!

2 Week Honeymoon to Italy

Teresa helped plan our 2 week honeymoon to Italy. It was fantastic! My brother and his wife recommended Teresa because they had a great experience when they used Teresa's services to plan their trip. Teresa did not disappoint! She was knowledgeable, offered great recommendations and took the time to understand our wants for our honeymoon. Everything was seamless and we did not have any issues during our trip. We traveled to 3 different cities and it could not have been smoother. We will be using Teresa to plan future trips!

It was great to have a travel agent to make all of the reservations for us, but I guess I thought having a travel agent would give us a few perks. I could have done all of the same reservations. I don't think it cost us anything more than what we would have paid if I would have made the reservations, so I can't really say anything bad. Teresa was very responsive and super nice, but I just didn't feel like it was anything special. She did reccommend the location - and it was beautiful. I don't think the resort was worth the amount that we paid, but that had nothing to do with the travel agent. Overall, we were satisfied though. Nothing was necessarily a problem, it just wasn't what I expected.
