My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect officiant than Caroline. From our very first meeting, she brought such warmth, professionalism and sincerity to the process that made us feel completely supported and at ease. She took the time to get to know us personally and crafted a beautiful, customized love story for our ceremony. It was heartfelt, sweet and had just the right touch of humor. Stress Free Story Book Day!
My husband and I were adamant that our day was as stress free and casual as could be. Although we both grew up around the church, we knew that we would opt for a more informal day. We chose a small outdoor ceremony at an arboretum. From the get go, we told one another that our goal for the ceremony of only thirty of our closest relatives and friends was to tell our story and make the love the focus. When we were introduced to Caroline we knew she would be the perfect fit to make our day come together as we had envisioned. From the first interaction to the seconds before the ceremony began, Caroline was cool, calm, and collected. She was professional in every way, yet still approachable enough to where some of our guests came to us to inquire how we knew her. They were shocked that she was able to express our story in a way that made it seem as though she already knew us on a personal level. Every detail of the ceremony was thought out and executed perfectly. We cannot thank Caroline enough for all she did to make our day come together.

Heartfelt ceremony

Thank you Caroline! Reading through the reviews on here, I knew we would be in good hands. I initially reached out to other officiants but once I read through these reviews, I went with my gut and reached out to her for our backyard ceremony. From the first time speaking with her, we were put at ease and she has helped us through the whole process step by step in crafting a personalized ceremony for our intimate backyard wedding. She was kind, thoughtful, communicative, and created a lighthearted loving ceremony for my partner David and I. She asked us thoughtful questions and really honed in on the details to create a personalized Love Story incorporating our moments through our eight years together! I felt at ease before the ceremony, where she guided us through a walk through with our processional party, and guided each of our readers through the process. We were able to stay focused and relaxed throughout the ceremony, and she incorporated a Handfasting which was so special for us. Better than I ever imagined
Caroline was an absolute delight. She was so professional throughout the whole process, from our first contact through until after our big day. We met with other officiant options, and Caroline was far and away the best candidate we spoke with. She immediately put us at ease with her confidence in how to manage all the details, and was reasonably priced to boot!
Our ceremony was the most special 30 minutes of our day (lives?) In my opinion, that is as it should be, but Caroline truly knocked everyone's socks off. She worked beautifully with the crowd, her words were beautiful and tender. She got the pronunciations of each and every name perfectly, she stepped away for our first kiss without us having talked about that so photos were just us. Talking with her in the lead-up to the day was a welcomed part of wedding planning, because it allowed my husband and I to focus on our relationship instead of all of the details. Caroline also handled the venue's maitre'd very well when he got a little flustered by a miscommunication (which was totally a venue issue, nothing to do with Caroline). I had complete faith in Caroline's ability to advocate for what we wanted in the ceremony, and communicate it effectively with anyone who had questions.
Caroline will make your ceremony SO memorable, meaningful, and special. She is a delight to work with, takes care of every detail you can imagine, and some that aren't even on your radar.

Caroline was great from start to finish! From our first phone conversation I had an immediate connection with her as she is so warm. I’m Greek Orthodox and my husband is Catholic and she did an amazing job combining both religions. The best officiant
Caroline was absolutely one of the BEST parts of our wedding. She performed an amazing ceremony for us at De Seversky Mansion. She was very professional, responsive, knowledgeable and understanding. Me and my husband are both foreigners, we never attend any wedding in US. Caroline explained everything in detail through phone calls and emails. She is also a great story teller, we only chose a signature ceremony without love story. But she gave me a surprise by sharing our love story during the ceremony, it was fun and personal.

Caroline was wonderful! From the beginning of the process she made us feel comfortable and at ease; we knew we were in good hands and that helped us make our final decision. We opted for the "Love Story" package where Caroline wrote a customized story after interviewing us to understand our relationship. She was always on top of everything (amazing attention to detail) right up until wedding day, with all sorts of helpful tips to ensure the ceremony went as smoothly as possible. Her calming & relaxed presence helped with the nerves when we needed it most! The guests loved her, we loved her, and I highly HIGHLY recommend Caroline (and the "Love Story" package, since she does limited number)

The best of the best!
We interviewed four officiants before making a decision. Caroline's background as a writer and her professionalism was the reason that we chose her. She took the time to really get to know us and portrayed our love story amazingly with a touch of genuine humor. To us, the ceremony is the utmost important part of a wedding and the way Caroline designed the ceremony was spot on. Our guests were impressed with her and even the venue asked for her name and phone number. We would highly recommend Caroline to officiate your wedding ceremony!

Honorable Caroline is so nice and organized. She is always helpful and accommodating from the very start to the full day of the wedding. She gave clear-cut direction of what needed to be done. A+++ Highly Recommend!
Caroline did an amazing job officiating my husband and my wedding on 6/11/22. She was so engaging and lively and got the entire crowd involved in our ceremony. Caroline is so professional and thorough. I was worried my ceremony would not be personal as I did not want to write my own vows. Caroline interviewed us and included a mini love story which gave the ceremony that personal touch I was looking for. We also chose to do a reading and hand blessing ceremony.

Caroline married my husband Scott and I last weekend (4/30/22) and it could not have been more perfect! Caroline was a pleasure to work with. Caroline knows how to make an event heartfelt, funny, and timeless. For our very small and intimate setting Caroline pulled the room together and knew EXACTLY what to do. Caroline was an amazing officiant for our wedding ceremony. From the first consultation over the phone we knew she was the one that we needed to do our wedding ceremony as we could tell she was so warm and engaging just from that initial contact. Our biggest fear with hiring someone who did not know us personally was that the service could be impersonal or cold. However, this is far from the case with Caroline as she has a unique ability to personalize the service and many in the audience thought she had known us for years. She also provided great guidance on where and how to obtain a marriage license and answered any questions we had along the way quickly. Wedding planning has many stressors already with so many moving parts to coordinate. If you want to at least eliminate all worries/stress with regards to your officiant and use someone who is professional, punctual, and personally cares about your service you can not go wrong with Caroline.

The best experience!

Unforgettable ceremony
We had a small outdoor ceremony, and Caroline was an amazing officiant. She touched base with us a month prior to finalize the set up and patiently explain all the details. On the day of, we met an hour before the start time to go over and practice the vows.
During the ceremony, Caroline delivered and paced our love story so well. We knew that our guests enjoyed it just as much as we did. We couldn't be happier.

Best Officiant Ever!!
Caroline was amazing! She's excellent with communication and has great attention to detail. We only met in person once, on the day of, and I felt as though she's known us forever. Our backyard ceremony was perfect, she walked us through everything beforehand so we all knew exactly where to go, what to do when we got there. She made our short and sweet ceremony so personal by sharing our love story and giving our dogs a shout out. All throughout the night we had family and friends coming up to us to ask how we found Caroline and to tell us what a great ceremony it was. 10/10 would recommend Caroline to be your officiant!

Choosing Caroline as our officiant was one of the easiest vendor decisions we made. At the time of our first meeting, it was clear she would take charge of the ceremony and make sure every detail was covered. Caroline was the best to ever do it, I’ll start off by saying that ! My wedding was supposed to be last year and due to COVID we had to postpone to this years. The communication was always there , and she stayed in touch and even remembered to reach out to me on the weekend that was supposed to be my wedding. The crowd absolutely loved her, from her sense of humor to the way she spoke which really made people want to hear everything she was saying . My love story she prepared for me was funny , yet beautiful and brought back so many memories of how me and my love first met. Caroline was so great! We had her officiate our backyard micro wedding after having to postpone our reception. We had the wedding live-streamed to over 90 people on zoom, which Caroline was very comfortable with. We had several conversations before hand to discuss the aspects of the ceremony and details of our relationship. You can tell she takes it very seriously, while still bringing a lot of love and warmth to the ceremony. Would absolutely recommend.

Social distanced wedding during a Global Pandemic...Caroline's was a ray of sunshine for us. Her professionalism was outstanding!!!
Perfection!!! Being married during the time of COVID 19 brought a new meaning to the word togetherness. We expressed to Caroline that it was very important to have our official wedding date on April 23 as this is also the day we met. Can't thank Caroline enough! My husband and I struggled to find an officiant- someone well spoken, who would represent us well, and create a ceremony that was lighthearted and sweet. Caroline was recommended to us and we connected right away. She is incredibly thorough, walked us through each step and really went out of her way to attend to each detail and make sure everyone was comfortable. By far the best decision we made in prep to the wedding
Caroline was absolutely terrific and way better than I could have ever expected. From our first meeting, when she made us feel extremely comfortable (we decided to cancel our other appointments with potential officiants after leaving the meeting), throughout the entire process of preparing (detail oriented - which is a must for us, particularly), and then especially - day of the ceremony. I have lost count how many of my guests told me it was the best ceremony they ever witnessed. Caroline adjusted to a last minute change, brought tears to our eyes with her words about our history and about our pup Simon. The mix between humor and sincerity was perfect. She particularly made a nervous groom relax as she guided him throughout the ceremony. We felt like we have always known Caroline, even though we only met her a few months ago. We will never be able to put into words just how thankful we are to have found the Honorable Caroline Z. Bazzini to play such an important role at our wedding and in our life.

From the beginning, Caroline offered us a lot of guidance and helped us navigate the ceremony portion of our wedding. She spent a lot of time talking to us, one-on-one and as a couple, getting to know us, and creating a special relationship with us that came through during our ceremony. She is extremely detailed oriented, caring, and nurturing, all of which helped to make our big day flow seamlessly. If you are looking for an officiant, we would definitely recommend Caroline!

Wonderful ceremony!
Caroline was amazing to work with! My husband, Franz, and I were thrilled with our ceremony and all our guests raved about how nice it was! She asked for details on our relationship and told our story beautifully! The following day she emailed us a scanned copy of our marriage license along with a copy of not just our vows but the entire ceremony as a keepsake! We did a handfasting with our vows and it was amazing! She was also very supportive and excited when we told her the ceremony would be live streamed to Franz's family in Bolivia. We highly recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a fun, personalized ceremony!

Exactly who we wanted!
When we began interviewing officiants for our wedding there was a certain kind of connection I was looking for: genuine connection, warmth, and an honest interest in being part of one of the most important days of our lives. A few of the officiants we met with seemed robotic and rushed, like it was a job they HAD to do, but not Caroline. Honestly, from the very first second I met her I had a feeling that she would be the one we would choose. There is something so comforting and easing about her mannerism, it captured my interest right away, and I know my guests felt the same way during our ceremony. She provided us with the most intimate and loving ceremony, it was exactly what we were looking for. Including our son in our ceremony was important for my husband and I, Caroline helped us achieve that goal by taking time to come up with creative ideas that he could be apart of, we ended up doing a tree planting unity, and he watered the tree! She puts in a lot of effort to understand exactly what it is you want to achieve and delivers that and more! She was made to marry couples. You honestly will be beyond satisfied with choosing Caroline as your wedding officiant!

Caroline was simply the best! From the very first email all the way to the final ceremony, Caroline was thoughtful, kind, accommodating and thorough. Her attention to detail was second to none. Many times after a meeting or conversation with her, my husband and I would say "Oh, I never would have thought about that!" She always answered our questions and emails in a prompt manner (either that day or the following day) and led us through the process with confidence and ease. When obstacles occurred here and there, she always managed to find a way around things and always was a reassuring and calming presence. She sent us reminders, updates and drafts of the ceremony and kept us posted every step of the way. By the end of the planning process, I genuinely felt like I found a true friend. Choosing Caroline was one of the best and easiest decisions we made in the wedding planning process, and in such a process that is oftentimes daunting, overwhelming and stressful, Caroline was our calm in the storm. I wholeheartedly recommend Caroline for you wedding officiant needs, she is a joy!!!!

We couldn't thank Caroline enough!! We had the most beautiful ceremony and Caroline made it so easy from start to the end. She was very experienced and professional, and she was through enough to go over every detail with us before the wedding day, and I felt I didn't have to worry a thing about ceremony. She was also responsive to emails and she gave great suggestions to us. On the wedding day, Caroline arrived early and prep the bridal party and our parents so everyone knows exactly what to do. Our perfect ceremony
Having Caroline as our wedding officiant was easily one of the best decisions we made. From our very first communication, she was kind, upbeat, and professional. Caroline provided much guidance with planning our entire ceremony (and was always so prompt with all communications). We are so glad we had her tell our love story as well as review our personal vows. Many of our family and guests praised how eloquently she spoke and how lovely and personal our ceremony was. Amazing Experience
Due to the tight schedule, we didn't even have a chance to do the rehearsal, so we were worried about the wedding. However, Caroline made it so smooth and memorable, all our guests were pleased and we were very happy about the entire ceremony. She was professional and covered all the details, and explained to us in an organized way. At one moment during our ceremony, as Caroline was telling our love story, I glanced over at my bridesmaids and saw one whisper to the other, "She's SO GOOD." Our guests couldn't stop raving about how fantastic the ceremony was and how beautifully Caroline captured our relationship. We could not be happier with how it went. Caroline not only took the time to get to know us, she also coordinated our ceremony in such detail, and helped us through the process of getting our marriage license. Caroline was AMAZING!!! We can not imagine a more perfect ceremony for our wedding! Caroline was super organized and made our ceremony perfect by adding a perfect touch of our love story to it!!! With neither myself or my now-husband particularly religious (he is Hindu and we had a separate wedding all together for that, I'm Catholic), we knew we wanted a relatively short ceremony with some readings and blessings and something that was just 'us'. Enter Caroline- you've read the amazing reviews and hopefully checked out her website, but if you're still on the fence, schedule a meeting. We went to her home for an initial meeting, which is insanely lovely, and she put us at ease from the beginning. She was always quick to respond to emails and easy to work with through the decision making process of what we wanted our ceremony to be.
We went with the package that included our 'love story', handcrafted by Caroline herself and we could not have been more pleased with how the ceremony came out. I am writing this on my way home from our Hawaiian honeymoon and I know I'll sit back down to relive the ceremony next weekend when I don't have any wedding to-dos to check off a list, by reading the transcript that Caroline provided us of the ceremony. As an added bonus, I cried the entire ceremony from procesional to recessional!
Our Long Island Gold Coast mansion wedding took place on an outdoor patio at sunset and it was just perfection. Our kiss photo has Caroline standing next to my MOH, mouth agape, smiling at our love, and I know her reaction was genuine.
A piece of the process that I loved was our final meeting with Caroline, where we were interviewed separately by Caroline to get some quotes for our love story. This was a beautiful moment for me when I reflected on the reasons I love my husband, why we were getting married in the first place, amidst all the wedding stress that goes along with planning. It was an emotional morning for me and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Thank you, Caroline, for giving Arun and I our dream ceremony. You filled our special moment with so many words of love, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
