Steve knows his stuff and willing to work with you to make sure your day perfect! We wanted a rustic elegant barn venue with great quality bathrooms. His venue is worth every penny! Do yourself a favor and take a tour! You’ll fall in love!

Steve and the team were absolutely wonderful to work with! Steve was very responsive while working with him prior to our wedding and on our wedding day! We had so many compliments on the venue from our guests! They were set up and ready to go for the day when we arrived and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue!

Where to begin? Steve is absolutely wonderful to work with! The venue is gorgeous rain or shine! Everything ran so perfect leading up to our wedding and even the day of - rain and all! Everyone loved the venue! Thank you!

We first visited this place in sub-zero temps in the middle of February....everything was frozen solid under a foot of snow. Nonetheless, we could see that this place was going to be a beautiful setting for our rustic summer wedding. With less than 6 months to plan everything, Steve was prompt at returning our phone calls and brainstormed ways of handling our guest load which was on the higher end of their capacity limit. And on two separate occasions, he met us out at the farm so we could get a better picture of how things would look the day of the ceremony.

Our Sunday wedding ceremony and reception were both held on site. In between the ceremony and dinner, we were able to provide our guests with tractor-pulled wagon rides through the beautiful grounds. Many of our guests commented on the beauty of the place, the relaxed atmosphere and how it was the best and/or most unique wedding they have attended. This venue is worth every penny and will help you create beautiful and lasting memories of your special day. Our only regret is that we were not able to slow time down. It just went by all too quickly.

A beautiful venue! We were able to celebrate every aspect of our wedding at this one venue. The large amount of space available provided many beautiful spots for an outdoor ceremony, cocktails & lawn games, wedding photos, dinner, reception & a bonfire to top it off. Great rustic feel with the comforts of individual bathrooms and A/C.

The owners were very helpful in making recommendations for other vendors and how to set up. The location is absolutely beautiful and perfect for any event.

Homestead Meadows is a beautiful setting. They have a great outdoor and indoor space, and the remodeled barn is a lovely space for a reception. Steve is helpful, accommodating, and really wants your day to be special. They help with the set up, clean up, and work very well with all the outside vendors. Our guests loved the space and it was perfect for our rustic themed wedding.

Steve Nagy and his staff are PHENOMENAL!!!! Steve was available by phone/email and text at any moment needed. His staff during the wedding setup and throughout the night were just amazing. So kind caring and flexible. I would recommend this Venue to EVERYONE.

Wonderful place to hold an outdoor wedding. Steve is very accommodating to help add that personal touch you are looking for. Homestead Meadows is a very warm and inviting place with a great rustic feel to it. Everybody that attended our wedding said it was the coolest place they've ever been to for a wedding. The convenience of a men's suite/woman's suite to get ready before the wedding was wonderful. Ceremony was in front of a beautiful setting and the ability to hold an indoor/outdoor reception area left us with zero regrets for choosing to have our wedding here. Add ons we included were a late night camp fire for cooking hotdogs and a trailer ride. Prices are extremely reasonable. Not a bad word to say about this place. Absolutely wonderful.

Steve and the rest of the Nagy Family at Homestead Meadows were really great while we were planning our wedding. The venue is really unique (barn and shed on 50 acres - you get use of the whole farm for the day) and beautiful. Our guests loved spending time outside playing lawn games before the meal. Steve was always quick to respond to my questions, and he was very helpful and flexible on the day of the wedding with decorating. I loved our wedding at Homestead Meadows!

Arlene was an excellent wedding location planner. She worked with us to formulate a way for our budget to fit with her beautiful location. Homestead Meadows is the most gorgeous facility we have ever seen, with fields, a pond, refurbished barns, etc! We are still receiving compliments about the natural beauty of our wedding. As an added bonus for the outdoor wedding, we did not have to buy any flowers, since the location is so naturally beautiful in itself. The reception location is equally wonderful, with white lights, beautiful centerpieces, and a great set-up. Arlene really was excellent in working with everything we wanted and making it the best day it could be.

We were recently married at Homestead Meadows and it was simply gorgeous! You can't ask for a prettier outdoor location than here. Combining the ceremony and reception here was out of our budget, so we had the ceremony only and held the reception at an alternate location. Only snag was that Arlene and Steve were out of town for our wedding day and someone filled in. This person didn't get the memo to have 100 chairs set up, so at the last minute our ushers had to retrieve chairs so that everyone had a place to sit. Not too major, though. The grounds were kept very nicely and there are so many different photograph locations on their property. We were extremely happy and satisfied with this location and you will be, too!

Homestead Meadows worked out wonderfully for our wedding venue in September 2018, and our guests continue to tell us what a great location it was. We had toured other barn and non-traditional venue options in central Wisconsin, but Homestead Meadows offered better amenities, and at a comparable price. Steve was easy and quick to communicate with, and easily accommodated our two tours of the venue. While there was initial miscommunication over booking the date, it was resolved quickly and we didn't experience any further issues. We utilized their recommended vendors off their website to secure most of our vendors. It worked out really well as they all know and work-at Homestead often. We really like the various ceremony locations, having spacious, separate preparation areas for the women and men, and the numerous, updated bathrooms. This offered us the unique venue with separate areas for each aspect of the wedding, while still offering important accommodations like the bathrooms, and wheelchair access. Steve and other staff were present on our wedding day. Everything went smoothly, and any concerns were addressed immediately. Even though they host many, many occasions, it truly felt like everyone was there just to make sure everything went well for us, and that it was all about our wedding that day. We are very happy with our decision to book Homestead Meadows, and would highly recommend them.

He did an amazing job working with us. Allowing us to come back and plan for decorating on multiple occasions. There is so much to say about this venue and the owner Steve. He is a very respectful and kind gentleman.

Steve at Homestead Meadows was great to work with. It was a beautiful place and I received many compliments throughout the day of how beautiful it was. Guests were able to walk around and enjoy the scenery before and after dinner. Many guests enjoyed the campfire and it made it very relaxed. We were able to plan the wedding of our dreams that blended very well with the rustic decor. He has put a lot of work into the barn and it shows. Very clean! Extremely satisfied and would highly recommend for an outdoor/rustic wedding.

This venue is absolutely beautiful and Steve at Homestead was so great to work with. He is committed to making your day everything you want it to be. He allowed my father and I to walk down the aisle on horseback, which was very important to me. I know two other people who were married here as well, and I was in one of the weddings. It's pricey, but it's well worth it. There's a separate building for getting ready, and the bride and the groom both have their own sections, which are completely separated so you cannot see or hear the other side of the wedding party. There are several beautiful places for pictures as well, including, of course, a tractor. It's definitely the place to hold a wedding in the fox cities area!

I loved this venue! Also the man who owns it was very kind and very easy to work with! The only problem we had was the air conditioning broke upstairs so it got quite hot up there. But I really loved this venue and it made our reception have a different and family friendly feel.

Homestead Meadows was just what we were looking for!

We used their farm for our ceremony and reception. The ceremony was going to be outside in front of the pond, but due to the rain, we had it inside the main barn, upstairs. This was slightly crowded (94 guests) and a bit warm, but it worked out well. Steve and his staff were able to switch the location of the ceremony within minutes which was great.

Following the ceremony, the weather cleared up completely, so we were able to utilize the grounds for pictures. We went all over! Our pictures turn out SO beautiful! We used the smaller barn for refreshments and snacks. We rented a PA system from Steve, but forgot to use it. Oops! This would have provided our guests with some soft music in the refreshment barn, but no one even noticed. There were plenty of chairs outside for guests to sit on during pictures, as well as an assortment of chairs inside the small barn.

Our reception dinner was in the lower room of the large barn. We used about 14-15 tables for guests, two round tables for our cake and seating chart, four tables for our buffet line, two tables for our head table, and one or two more for refreshments. It wasn't crowded at all. We even had enough room for guests to hoola hoop in front of the head table to get us to kiss.

One recommendation: put the head table on risers. It was hard to see some of our guests since we all were at the same level.

Following dinner, we transitioned back upstairs, where the ceremony was held, for a slide show and then dancing. We only had one small issue during the reception: Steve turned the air conditioning off without telling us and it was way too warm to dance for a while. After a quick phone call, he came within minutes to turn it back on. Many people congregated outside on the patio instead of inside on the dance floor due to the warm room, which was kind of a bummer.

All and all, Homestead Meadows was an incredible venue for our ceremony and reception. We loved the uniqueness of the barns which really suited us better than a hotel or fancy resort. Since our wedding, we have had three friends book their weddings at Homestead, as they loved how unique the farm was too.

Homestead Meadows is more beautiful than imaginable. I was so happy with my reception out there. It was super affordable and just as elegant as any hotel or banquet hall. Steve was great to work with. He is a little strict about decor but in the end he gave in and it was perfect. It's kept up very well and it's so much easier to chose the catering you want than being stuck with what comes with a venue. I would recommend this place for anyone's ceremony or reception or even just a family/business event.

Overall we had a positive experience here. It is very beautiful and there are many scenic areas to take pictures. Steve was responsive via email, usually within 1-2 days at the most. I never tried to call or text, so I can’t comment on the speed of those communications. Moving our ceremony inside (raining) went smoothly. The cost of the rental was higher than most others that we were considering (although there are certainly more expensive venues in the area). If you balance it with the cost savings you can obtain with your other vendors, it does even out and give you a more customizable experience. They seemed to want to make us happy.

Some things to keep in mind if you are renting this venue (writing as an FYI for future brides based on some criticisms I’ve heard from other weddings) Rental covers the facility/grounds only. There are a few staff members on hand to answer questions and help with any facility issues the day of your event. It’s important you make sure you understand what they are supplying and have available or your wedding will not go smoothly. For example, they don’t have a kitchen area, supplies for food or coffee prep, don’t supply extra napkins, and you provide the table coverings for the dining tables etc. None of those things are a big deal; unless you don’t bring tablecloths or are relying on them having a coffee maker etc. There are two refrigerators for platters. Careful selection of vendors that are experienced with the venue is very helpful. I’ve heard that buffet lines can get very long and slow if you pack the dining hall to max capacity (~220) and only run two buffet lines. We only had 120 people, so 2 lines ended up working well. Homestead Meadows is clear about what they provide in the paperwork and Steve answered any further questions I had quickly, so I’m not trying to suggest that they misled us by any means. Our wedding went very smoothly because I planned for all these things.

The owners of Homestead Meadows provide a beautiful place, either indoors or outdoors for a wedding ceremony and reception. They also decorate the inside and outside of the barn. They were sometimes hard to get ahold of by phone though.

Homestead Meadows is a beautiful venue. I had wanted to have my wedding at the establishment since I had attended a wedding there when I was 18. The cost is effective, because you can purchase your own catering and beverages.
I rate the quality of service, responsiveness and professionalism very low. I was promised that I would be able to rehearse our ceremony at the site at a certain time and after my invitations had gone out the owner decided I could not rehearse at that time. We had half of our guest coming from out of state and we had to rehearse at the hotel we booked. Homestead Meadows did take off $100 off the cost, but they were very unreasonable and unprofessional. The $100 did not make up for the stress and inconvenience of modifying the schedule. In addition, the owners were very hard to contact and did not return my calls in a timely manner. One of the owners was very rude to the dj staff and guests towards the end of the night. The vase I used during my ceremony broke during the clean-up and instead of telling me they replaced it. When I questioned them if they knew anything about it, the owner was very curt and rude.
Overall, the place was perfect, however, I wish we could have had a better experience with the owners.

Beautiful venue, yes, but not worth the hassle working with Steve, the owner. He was not responsive or easy to work with. As soon as he got our down payment, he was downright rude. We decided he wasn't worth working with and tried to get at least some of our deposit back (we gave him 11 months to re-book our date and could have held it but tried to work with him). He wouldn't work with us at all, so we left our deposit. There are other barns in the Fox Cities that are easier to work with and just as beautiful! La Grange, Simply Country, Mulberry.
