  Amazing experience w Lindsey!

  Lindsey was incredible!! She is super detail oriented and is truly an artist. She did my hair and makeup for my entire wedding weekend and also did my friends’ hair and makeup for my wedding day. We all loved how natural we looked (while still looking glam); we didn’t feel overdone or caked w/ hairspray and face makeup. Would 100% work w Lindsey for another event. She’s the best!

  Bridesmaid Makeup

  Lindsay did makeup and hair for a wedding where I served as the MOH. I was nervous at first because I’m Black and have darker skin which can be challenging for makeup professionals that are not women of color. She did phenomenal! She listened to my concerns and made sure I was absolutely satisfied with my hair and makeup. She slayed.

  Beautiful work!

  Lindsey did my wedding makeup and has done makeup for me in the past for family pictures, engagement pictures, etc. I’ve had my makeup done professionally by other artists and NEVER like it, but whenever Lindsey does my makeup I feel so beautiful! She is truly talented at what she does and I cannot recommend her enough.

  I absolutely recommend Lindsey, she is easy to book with and definitely showed her talent when we lost power and was able to do my hair with no heat tools. She is very flexible and makes you very confident and beautiful for your big day

  Talented Makeup Artist - Hire her!!!

  Lindsey was amazing. She was professional, communicative, and made me and everyone else she worked on look amazing for my wedding!! She really listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for. My makeup and hair stayed perfect throughout the day, even though we got rained on slightly. I have fine hair that does not hold a curl and my hair still had waves well into the next day, and I even received compliments the next day on my hair! Hire her, she was great!!

I had always been nervous about my wedding makeup and hair as I didn't expect any amount of makeup could make me beautiful in photos (not photogenic), but somehow with her talented hands she transformed me into a beautiful princess that translated in photos as well! My husband who normally prefers my neutral look without makeup never met her but even mentioned how happy he was with her work several times on our wedding night. She also did several of my bridesmaids/flower girl hair and makeup, everyone was happy! Kudos to her for making me feel like a princess for the first time in my life, on a day that would matter the most

  I can’t say enough great things about Lindsey. She was on time, a fast responder, very personable and so professional! She did my hair / make up as well as my mom and had us ready to go before the time we even said. She nailed EXACTLY what I wanted and I got so so many compliments all day. Not to mention the make up held great through all the tears I cried!

  Hire her! You won’t regret it!

  I got married October 23rd, 2021 to my best friend and Lindsey with Home Grown Beauty made me feel so beautiful and special. She is responsive, knowledgeable, dependable, reliable and most importantly a good person and GREAT at her job. For example, I have sensitive eyes because of my contacts and I warned her about that. Never in a million years have I had makeup applied to my face and not had powder fly into my eyes. She was so careful and it really made a difference.
  
  Another reason she is so great at her job is because she goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Even though the clock was counting down and we still had people to go, she took the time to make sure my head was comfortable and the bobby pins were not pulling on my hair extensions. My hair and makeup held the ENTIRE night which consisted of many joyful tears, dancing and exposure to the weather. I am always having to redo my makeup and with her service, I didn’t have to.
  
  I had a hard time finding hair and makeup for myself and my girls that was affordable and still high quality. Let me tell you - you will not be disappointed. She is a professional. Between picking good colors for your skin tone to covering blemishes and recreating your dream hair, she is great at what she does. Hire her! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my day so special.

  Lindsey is truly amazing! She literally can accomplish any look you are going for, I am thrilled with all that she did for me and my girls on my wedding day! She is so sweet and overall an awesome, reliable, realistic, and understanding person! Highly recommend!

  She talked to me prior and asked for pictures of what I wanted to make sure I got what I envisioned for my makeup and was kind, but mostly had a great personality so it was easy to talk to her and felt comfortable like one of my friends was doing my makeup.   She was amazing to work with! I am not one to wear makeup- so seeing myself in a whole face of makeup was weird- but i LOVED it, it was just what i wanted - as natural as it could be, with still being wedding glam! and my hair turned out amazing as well! Overall 10/10
