Having my wedding at Hollytree country club was one of the best decisions I could have made in my wedding planning. From start to finish, the entire process was simple and Randi made it to where my husband and I could enjoy our amazing reception free from worry. All of the staff at Hollytree were very professional and kind. We had the fajita buffet and got numerous compliments on how delicious the food was. The venue is also already so beautiful, we didn't have to spend too much time or money on decorations. I could go on and on with reasons as to why you should consider and hopefully choose to have your reception at Hollytree country club. Thanks to everyone at Hollytree, especially Randi, for helping us have a fun, beautiful, and memorable wedding reception!! They are the best!

This was, without a doubt, the best place to have my wedding reception! The food, ambiance, professionalism, and responsiveness was all on point! You won't regret choosing Hollytree!

Randi is the best to work with! Hollytree was the perfect venue for our wedding reception, and Randi helped me feel stress-free! She was up there all day working with us and making sure every detail looked perfect! My guests loved the food (sundried tomato chicken) and the appetizers we served (pork sliders, bruschetta, barbecue wrapped shrimp, cheese and fruit display). Hollytree is such a great venue to work with! :)

I think it would be beneficial if Holly Tree provided the Event Coordinator a personal business cellphone. It was frustrating to make long distance calls and always had to leave a message. I would receive a return call back , but it would have been nice to talk directly to the Event coordinator when call was received.

We were VERY pleased!!! I had the wedding of my dreams. This place is breath taking, the staff were great! Very helpful, on top of the job. GREAT customer service, any time I had a question I would email Randi and I got a reply within the same day.

Everything about our daughters wedding at Hollytree Country Club was above and beyond what I asked for. Working with Randi Mahomes, was amazing she made every effort to make sure everything taken care of as we had asked. I had many compliments on the food and staff, and how attentive they were to all the guest. I would highly recommend Hollytree for a Wedding they make every effort to making all your plans come about and give many helpful ideas in planning.

Choices for event type did not fall into our category which is a monthly dinner club.
We appreciated meeting with Randi several times and being able to preview (taste) our selections for our Joy of Living Dinner Club.
The food was wonderful and served as we suggested.
When checking out that evening, the pricing was in need of adjustment.
The facility was very pleasant and looking out onto the golf course with blooming azaleas fit perfectly with our theme "The Masters Golf Tournament".

Randi and the staff at Hollytree are all so easy to work with. We have been having our prom there for several years and we enjoy our experience each time. It is a beautiful place that gives our students the opportunity to have a elegant night out on the town. We appreciate the extra mile that they go for us each year to make each prom successful. I would recommend Hollytree to anyone needing a special place to have an event.

We had our ceremony and reception at Hollytree and everything turned out wonderful! The location for the outdoor ceremony was beautiful! There were many options for how to set up the reception at the Club House and Randi had so many ideas for what would work best for us.
Randi was such a pleasure to work with and helped answer any questions we had and smoothed out any obstacles we faced with other vendors. The members and staff at Hollytree were very accommodating and we couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding!

Randi, our event planner, was heaven sent! She worked with our budget and helped us stretch every dollar. She has a wealth of knowledge in this field and helped us make our wedding day perfect!! I don't know what we would have done without her. The food and service were both top notch, and Hollytree was the picture perfect backdrop for our pictures! Cannot say enough wonderful things about Hollytree and all of the amazing staff there!

Hollytree was the perfect space for our wedding reception. Randi, the main event coordinator, is incredibly helpful, and has a great working relationship with the florist and baker I used (as well as most of the other vendors in town). Their dinner organizer is extremely on point. Food was excellent. We took most of our wedding party pictures on the grounds, and they turned out beautifully. The staff were very accommodating on everything. Definitely recommend!! Fantastic value and fantastic service.

The event cooridinator at HollyTree Country Club, Randi MaHomes, was great to work with. We live 2 hrs away from Tyler and was not familiar with anything in the City. The wedding was held in Tyler because it was the mid-way point from the grooms family/friends that were from Louisiana, and the brides family/friends from Dallas.Randi put all my fears at ease and when I constantly had the panic attacks as the mother of the bride would have on occassions, especially working/planning a wedding in a town you know nothing about, she was just a joy and calmed those fears and attacks. She also provided me a list of vendors I could utiilize, who could also contribute into making the planning of this wedding stress free. We used almost all the vendors she supplied to us. My Wedding Cooridinator agreed it was great working with Randi.

I was disappointed that my food was not hot even though my husband and I were the first through the buffet. I was just not real pleased with the overall taste of the food. I have been to several events at Hollytree and always thought the food was wonderful. I was very disappointed in the food at my reception, especially for the amount of money that we paid for it. The vegetables had a very odd taste and I could not even eat them. The salad was good, and the chicken was just ok. The twice baked potatoes were not good. They looked like they had been reheated a dozen times and there was hardly any filling in them. I am not a picky eater. I just feel like the Hollytree quality was not there that night and I was very disappointed and embarrassed and a little upset that we paid so much money for a very mediocre meal. Randi was fabulous and professional in helping us with all details. The bartenders were excellent and fun and the servers were great also. The venue is nice and my guests had a wonderful time. We did too, just very disappointed in the food.

Aside from the poor service, everything was beautifully executed! Here are the lowlights of the reception service: 5 minutes after the bride and groom cut the cake there was still a line of people waiting, but no one was serving cake. I could not find any wait staff. I got the girl at the reception desk to go into the kitchen and find someone to serve the cake.

Later, my son found me and told me there were people in the buffet line, but there were no plates. Again, had to find someone to go get plates.

The day following the reception, my mother--who is a member of this country club--remarked that she thought the service was lacking at our reception. She said she could not find anyone to bring her coffee and that people were looking for places to sit, but the dirty dishes from previous guests hadn't been cleared.

Bottom line: INATTENTIVE STAFF ruined an otherwise perfect reception.
