We attended our sons wedding this part weekend. Everything was exceptional! The courtesy and care the staff gave us was excellent! The food was terrific! We just can't say enough about what a memorable experience this was for us! We highly recommend Holly Hedge for weddings or events.!!! The memory of that day will be forever in our minds and hearts! Very accommodating to those with allergies.
Due to a sulfite allergy, I hadn’t eaten in a restaurant in 14 years. My daughter was getting married at HollyHedge Estate and I wanted to enjoy the filet mignon on her big day. The staff communicated with the chef and made sure my meat was cooked safely (I did bring my own side dishes, which they heated up for me ). The entire wedding went off without a hitch and was exquisite from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. -

Having our wedding at HollyHedge Estate was an absolute dream!! From the moment we set foot on the enchanted garden property we knew this was where we wanted to say our I dos!! Not only is the property incredible the event staff went above and beyond from start to finish to make our day so perfect!! Throughout the entire planning process Michele and Gabbi were super quick to respond and were so accommodating to all of our requests!! They helped us craft a dream wedding with honest opinions and ideas to make it so personal to us!! We cannot thank them enough!! On the day of Gabbi, Mary and Michael went above and beyond to ensure a memorable and incredible day for us and our guests!! They made sure to help us keep on time and set up everything perfectly!! The day of event staff were beyond wonderful and went out of there way to create an amazing experience for us and our guests!! The innkeepers, Courtney, Jacob and Aldrin were so helpful in accommodating guests special requests and making it such a seamless over night stay for our guests!! Truly every single staff member at HollyHedge completely exceeded our expectations!! We had an amazing experience all thanks to this wonderful team and venue!! There are no words to describe our experience with Holly Hedge Estate, but I will absolutely try my best! From the moment we stepped onto the property during the "finding a venue" stage we were blown away, and we saw it in the dead of winter covered in ice...even then it was special. Every interaction we had with staff members from that point forward was nothing short of genuine and positive! From the innkeepers, to the event team, even down to the kitchen, Holly Hedge as a whole is pure perfection and love. During our planning process we had a lot of questions and the staff was always extremely responsive and informative. They let us visit the property a numerous amount of times just to see visions and take measurements, always welcoming us with smiles. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at Holly Hedge Estate and it truly was the best decision we ever made! We had 30 people between our wedding party and immediate families alone and they were able to accommodate all of us right on property for our full blown wedding weekend experience! The food is absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD and we never had a bad meal, more like food heaven! Within our weekend the staff really set the tone and MAN do they set the bar high! They treated not only us as the bride and the groom with so much love, respect, and empathy, but every single one of our family members and friends as well! We can all only dream that wedding days go smoothly, but during every little wardrobe malfunction or weather whirlwind...Holly Hedge was right there each step of the way with an immediate solution! They are truly a one-stop-shop and if they don't have what you're looking for, they will absolutely do everything they can do to accommodate! I could go on forever about how genuinely in-love with the estate we are! Not booking Holly Hedge for any event would be the biggest mistake, we are already trying to plan another one ourselves! :) -

I had my wedding at HollyHedge Estate in the beginning of January and I would do it all over again given the chance! I had this venue high on my list before I was even engaged (that's how beautiful it looks in pictures) and I wasn't disappointed when I went to tour with my fiancé! From the first email communication with Michele, HHE showed absolute professionalism and support to us. Michele sat down with us after the tour and answered any and all questions we had very thoroughly without sugarcoating anything. We knew IMMEDIATELY that we had to get married here- and we don't regret it one bit (neither will you, I promise). Michele and Gabbi made the wedding planning process so fun and easy, a task extremely hard to do when all you hear about is the stress of wedding planning. Leading up to the wedding communication was 10/10. Every email was answered in a timely manner and we never had to follow up as a reminder. The tasting gave us great inspiration on how the event goes and the staff is all so kind and wonderful! Our guests raved about them all weekend! We had our rehearsal on site the night before, and it eased all of our minds (mind you, not many of our bridal party have ever been in a wedding before). The day of the wedding was absolutely magical. Gabbi was my day of coordinator and she made sure everyone was taken care of down to the tiniest detail of finding us batteries when our polaroid needed some! The food was delicious and overall the day was perfect. -

Book this venue if you want to have the most perfect, fairytale picturesque wedding possible.
I have worked in the event industry for a number of years which made finding the perfect venue more difficult than anticipated. My husband and I toured multiple venues that while beautiful, just didn't fit our needs or we just didn't mesh with. Friday on a whim I played hooky from work to take a tour of Holly Hedge with my mom, Saturday I brought back my MIL and husband to book.
From the very first email, each coordinator we had the pleasure of working with - (at the time Meredith), Michele and Gabbi were professional, friendly and communicative - all the traits you want from your event planners! What really stood out to me was that while we did the majority of our planning with Michele and had Gabbi on sight day of, it felt like we were planning with only one coordinator. Their internal communication is truly beyond impressive and put any nervous bride energy I had at ease. Not only did they help us keep organized, they were excited for our event, were quick to answer any questions we had and encouraged all of our design / decor ideas we had which made planning so much easier and even fun! We always looked forward to our planning meetings.
Not only was the planning process incredibly smooth, the day of was even better. We truly had the most perfect, amazing wedding day thanks to Holly Hedge and their staff who were always close by! One of our guests described them "like ants, just everywhere!". We had no need go unmet the day of. Gabbi was right by our side all day to help with whatever we needed (and did an amazing job doing my bustle by herself!). Gabbi was also amazing at accommodating my adult autistic brother who was apart of our wedding party. She was so patient, understanding and kind with him (even when I was stressed out!) Her assistant Andrew was equally as professional and nice, he closed out the night for us and was ever so patient corralling us to the after party even despite us thoroughly enjoying our open bar. The bartenders were INCREDIBLE, they had orders memorized by the end of the night and our guests raved about the drinks and the selection. Our guests also loved Emily the after party bartender, she was so fun!
I also have to take a moment and acknowledge how good the food was as well. Cocktail hour was abundant with a huge variety of appetizers. We loved the option of having 3 proteins and a veggie for our main courses. The steak was well cooked, crusted tuna was some of the best tuna I've ever had, the chicken had rave reviews as well and everything came out piping hot! The stuffed squash was huge, seasonal and delicious. Not only was Holly Hedge food some of the best food we've ever had, they were happy to make substitutions so more of our guests could enjoy (like no bacon on one the appetizers for example). Our leftovers we were sent home with were equally as good the next day.
Lastly, the venue itself is incredibly beautiful and offered so many unique backdrops for photos. It had the most perfect, romantic, rustic secret garden vibes. The venue did not need much in terms of decor to bring it to life. In all, Holly Hedge provided us with our dream wedding day and we would do it over again in a heart beat with absolutely zero changes. Our guests are still raving about what feels like every aspect of the day. Holly Hedge is truly the ultimate wedding venue and offers the entire package!

I had heard about Hollyhedge from a friend and the second I saw the venue, I fell in love. Not only are the grounds beautiful, the staff are some of the most genuine and kind individuals. You walk in the door and they greet you with a smile and a helping hand. Everything is locally sourced and the venue takes pride in their work. Gabbi, the wedding coordinator I worked with helped me plan every aspect of my day. I knew going into my wedding day, I would not have to worry about a single thing because she knew exactly what my vision was and how to make it happen. The day was perfect and it's because of the careful planning and care Hollyhedge puts into their venue. Every single person I worked with and spoke to was kind and helpful. They made my wedding dreams come true.There was not a single thing I would change and it was because of the hard work and diligence of the staff at Hollyhedge. -

If I could give this wedding venue a thousand stars I would. From start to finish, they are literally perfect. The place is stunning and reminiscent of a magical garden with lots of places for photos. It's a one-stop-shop with everything included and a transparent price, unlike so many other venues that don't include gratuity and sales tax in their price. The food is delicious and the menu that couples can choose from is vast. And perhaps best of all, Gabbi and Michele are the BEST planners any bride could ever hope for. They are extremely responsive, thorough, honest, organized, and kind. So many people told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to and they now want to get married at HollyHedge. I couldn't be more elated that we had our special day here! -

I had my wedding at HollyHedge Estate this past August and it was the most amazing experience. All of the event coordinators (Michele and Gabbi) are so nice, patient, and helpful. I probably emailed and called them way too many times throughout the planning experience (I had no idea what I was doing) and they never once made me feel like a bother! They were open to any idea I had and helped through making decisions that I was not sure how to make. On the day of the wedding, Gabbi was my coordinator and she did a phenomenal job. We never actually had to ask for anything. It felt like she was a step ahead of us at all times. She kept everyone calm throughout the hectics parts and made sure my husband and I ate! I cannot say enough about this venue. It is beyond gorgeous and unique. Even more so, the staff there are incredible. I would not have changed a thing! -

Worlds best wedding venue!!
Choosing to have our wedding at the Holly Hedge Estate was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process. Michelle, Gabby, and Meredith on the event team, as well as Aldrin and Courtney on the Inn team made our day absolutely perfect. From our first tour, they were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. When we had to postpone our wedding they did everything is their power to make the change smooth and simple. Whenever I had a question, they were there with an answer, solution, or advise. The day of the wedding I did not worry about a single thing. They had thought of everything and had it all covered so I could relax and enjoy the day. The venue itself is so amazingly beautiful with many different areas within the estate perfect for different parts of the wedding and great for photos. The food was UNBELIEVABLE. All of our guests were so complimentary. We were worried we wouldn’t get a chance to enjoy the food being so busy with our guests but the holly hedge team made sure to bring us plates of food throughout the party and delivered extra to the honeymoon suite for us to enjoy after. I honestly can not say enough about this amazing spot. If you want a beautiful, stress free, magical wedding, look no further than the Holly Hedge Estate. -

Not even sure where to begin! Holly Hedge is an exceptionally beautiful, breath-taking venue. The grounds are like a fairytale. So much care and love has clearly been put into the smallest of details. You won’t find a more magical setting for your special day.
The food is absolutely top-notch. Your guests will be talking about it all night! The tasting we attended during the planning stages of our event was a particular highlight. My wife and I are both former restaurant industry professionals and big time foodies. After the tasting we could not wait for our guests to experience the evening and we were not disappointed! Excellent from start to finish.
When touring the grounds or reading menu options, everything is so incredibly impressive it could be easy to overlook the most amazing thing about Holly Hedge; the exceptional staff. This crew is the absolute definition of service industry professionalism! They are so clearly knowledgeable, experienced, committed and invested in their guests’ experience. We felt like everything we could have ever needed or wanted was a priority for every single member of staff involved in our day. The management team (Michele, Meredith and Gabbi) run this place with a compassionate confidence that makes you feel heard and taken care of in a very rare way. I watched the way the service staff interacted with our guests with a true kindness while simultaneously leaving no detail overlooked. I worked in restaurant and event service for many many years. This crew is exceptional!
Honestly I could go on, but just go see for yourself already. Big, heartfelt thank you to each and every member of the Holly Hedge team. We’ll always have real love for you for the experience you gave us.

Where to begin ... traditional wedding planning is known to be stressful. But right from the start, HollyHedge Estate (More particularly Michele, Meredith & Gabbi) gave us a very different feeling. You'll know from your first meeting with them that HollyHedge operates on a totally different level.
All three of the event planners were incredible. They're thorough, qualified and most importantly confident. From the smallest of details, they quite literally think of and plan for everything. Even when the COVID pandemic threw a wrench in our wedding plans, the event staff was on top of it. It's hard to even remember how many times we had to reimmagine our wedding in the months leading up to it as Pennsylvania consistently changed their policies.
But through it all, we somehow knew that HollyHedge was going to pull it off and boy did they ever. Our day (Even the weather - although I'm not sure they can claim responsibility for that) was simply extraordinary. Every single detail that we had dreamed of and planned was put into effect. The food was incredible (Our guests still talk to us about the Filet Mignon with Garlic Aioli and Frizzled Onions) and the staff was wonderful.
During a year that was tumultuous in many ways, we were so thankful that for even just one weekend all of that disappeared. We were fortunate that our guests got to experience so much of what HollyHedge has to offer. With our Rehearsal Dinner at 1740 House which was excellent by the way (The staff there were even better then the food though) and our guests staying at both 1740 House and HollyHedge - there wasn't a single person that was disappointed.
I know what you're thinking, so many of the venue reviews sound like this, but trust us, there is a reason that HollyHedge wins awards year after year and it's not just because of how incredible the property is - it's the people there that will truly make your wedding extraordinary.HollyHedge Estate's reply:

As my daughter’s new father-in-law and I stood together looking out over the twinkling lights of the courtyard at HollyHedge where staff had set up a romantic outdoor micro wedding, he turned to me and asked, “Are we rich?” I answered, “Yes, tonight we are!” After an arduous decision to move my daughter and son-in-law’s larger wedding/reception a year forward due to the pandemic, HollyHedge staff created an intimate micro-wedding that would be held on the couple’s original day. With only 15 people in attendance which included the bride and groom, the HollyHedge staff treated us like we were royalty! The day was perfect thanks to the flexible, creative, and caring folks at HollyHedge. They held our hands along the way as we changed plans. They worked with us within our budget and offered their wedding expertise as the details of the day were finalized. Michele and Meredith responded quickly to endless phone calls, emails, and in-person visits. On the day of the micro-wedding, everyone was able to relax and simply enjoy the day as the staff took care of literally everything. The designated wedding planners provided by HollyHedge were on point with every detail (thank you Meredith and Gabby!) The ceremony in the small barn as romantic, the food was delicious, the waitstaff attentive, and the ambiance of eating outside under the bistro lighting within the walled courtyard was something out of a storybook. We can’t wait to host the larger reception at HollyHedge in October of 2021! HollyHedge Estate is literally the perfect wedding venue! My wife dreamed of getting married here and it surpassed all expectations. Michelle, Meredith, Gabbi and the rest of the staff were amazing! They are all so friendly, responsive, and care about every little detail. Our other vendors even commented on how well they run things here. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous at any time of year for an indoor or outdoor wedding. The food was delicious and they have some very unique options. The rooms at the inn are awesome as well and its so convenient for you and your closest guests to stay right on premises. They were really great with all the safety measures they took for covid as well. It's incredible how smooth everything went. Beyond Expectations!
My husband and I are SO glad we picked HollyHedge for our venue. I had favorited it early on in the process because of the photos, but we didn't look right away because most sites had it listed in a higher price range than what we were looking to spend. After searching around at other various places, we realized that the price (because it included so much) was actually just as much in our budget as the others, but we were getting more! I wanted something with a beautiful outdoors, and somewhat farmhouse interior, and my husband was interested in a more historic site—HollyHedge was the perfect combo.
I cannot say enough about the staff. They made our entire process, ESPECIALLY the day of, so smooth and easy. They were so friendly and had such a professional handle on who had to be where, when, and what we were supposed to be doing where. I really felt no stress, and that I was in the most capable hands. The food was so delicious, and we got SO many things included in our menu package. Honestly, the venue search was the most stressful part of getting married for me, and after picking HollyHedge became the easiest and most perfect decision I made! Thank you HollyHedge! -

The venue, the staff, and the food was absolutely perfect. The wedding coordinators (Michele, Meredith, and Elizabeth) were amazing! Incredibly professional and so good at their job, the day was seamless. I had ZERO worries or concerns. The food was absolutely delicious (everyone was impressed with the food and was full, because the portions were great) and the waitstaff made sure everyone was taken care of, especially us! The venue was gorgeous for a spring wedding, and the little bit of rain we had provided the perfect lighting. The wedding was picture perfect, but more importantly, stress-free allowing us to truly enjoy ourselves and be fully present in the moment. We also booked the entire estate for our VIP guests, and that little extra something made the night even more special. I can't compliment HollyHedge enough. -

HollyHedge Estate is an incredible venue. Our day was literally magical thanks to the amazing staff members at HollyHedge. A huge thanks goes to Meredith and Michele who answered my zillions of questions leading up to our day, but also to the entire staff who supported day of and made our day so special. They made the day so easy that we did not have to worry about a single thing. Beyond the incredible staff, you couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting between the stone barn and woodsy estate, and the food was outstanding. I do not know where to even begin. Our wedding was beyond what we ever hoped for and a lot of that had to do with HollyHedge and the staff there. They’ve been extremely responsive since day one, so attentive, extremely kind and polite, and so incredibly helpful. Every guest we spoke to stated how gorgeous HollyHedge is, how amazing their staff was, and how delicious the food was. It was such a good feeling hearing all of those compliments as we really wanted our wedding to be easy and fun for our guests. There is something so special and magical about HollyHedge and my husband and I loved every single thing about it. The process and planning was so easygoing and they were really so helpful throughout it all. I really will miss everyone who helped make our day so special and I wish I could relive that day many more times as it really felt like a dream.

Everything You Could Want In A Venue
Choosing HollyHedge as our venue was, hands-down, the best decision we made for our wedding (besides deciding to get married, of course!). HollyHedge was the last venue in a long search of the Tri-State area, and we knew within minutes that this is what we had been searching for and more. A beautiful, romantic venue with soul, onsite accommodations, fantastic food, and helpful coordinators that make your day effortless - what more could you want?
From the first email exchange to sending us home with boxes of desserts, Michele, Meredith, Beth, and Gabi made our wedding breezy every step of the way. They gave honest opinions and lots of helpful suggestions for everything from floorplans to vendors. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding is something we had time to enjoy. Even though it rained, they had a backup plan ready to go, and honestly, having the ceremony in the barn was absolutely perfect and intimate. You can’t go wrong with any of the ceremony options at HollyHedge!
HollyHedge has far-and-away the best full-service wedding package we found. The fact that so many details are included in package makes things so easy, while still providing a ton of options that truly makes your wedding customizable and reflect you a couple. And the FOOD! The food at HollyHedge is incredible - from the inventive hors d'oeuvres to the custom cake/cupcakes we ate for days afterward. Across the board, our guests have told us that this was the best food they’ve had at a wedding.
To any couple considering HollyHedge as your venue, you won’t be disappointed. They make absolute magic over there, and we wish we could relive our wedding over and over. Many thanks to the HollyHedge team!

Arielle Sent on 09/02/2018My husband and I got married at HollyHedge on August 10th. When wedding planning, we were searching for a venue that only had one wedding at a time, that had a beautiful outside space, and that would allow our guests to stay on the property. We visited several venues and then went for a tour of HollyHedge. The property is private, in a beautiful location, and reminds me of a secret garden. The historic barn is unique and beautiful, and was one of my reasons for selecting the venue because even if the weather doesn't cooperate the backup ceremony location is natural and beautiful with giant windows. Our wedding was a dream come true. Our immediate family and bridal party stayed at the estate on Thursday after the rehearsal dinner and Friday after the wedding. We had our ceremony and reception on site. It rained about an hour before our ceremony but HollyHedge staff dried everything and made the space look perfect. Everyone absolutely loved the intimate ceremony outside, and I highly recommend our officiant Andy Mahaney who the venue recommends. The fountain in the middle of the outside ceremony space adds to the beauty. The cocktail hour was also perfect and people could sit outside or inside which was great on a hot day. We were not impressed with the food at the tasting but on the day of the wedding the food was excellent and the toasted coconut filling cake was delicious. I do suggest paying for a separate tasting where you can actually try the food you are considering from the menu, since many things weren't available at the tasting. The potato croquettes are awesome! The reception space was perfect for approximately 130 people, though I wouldn't recommend trying to fit too many more people in there. Finally, we had an after party in the old barn which was amazing and they had a bonfire for s'mores outside. We never wanted the night to end! The staff is incredibly accommodating and will assure that you have a beautiful, memorable wedding.

Sara Sent on 08/20/2018We are obsessed with this venue! We chose this place due to it's breathtaking beauty, rooms on site, option for outdoor wedding, rustic charm, farm to table menu, and location. We never could have imagined that our wedding would completely surpass our expectations. The food was incredible (best wedding food I've ever had), the staff was beyond amazing- Beth & Meredith were there every step of the way to make sure our day was perfect and we had everything we needed at every moment- and Michele helped us throughout the entire process answering all of my emails. Our guests could not say enough wonderful things about this place and how accommodating everyone was. We were supposed to get married outside, but the weather didn't cooperate so I was pretty bummed. But after seeing the pictures from inside the barn, I am soooo happy we got married inside. The stone backdrop was stunning and the pictures came out incredible. Every wedding needs to be here and I just hope that my husband and I get to attend another wedding here.

Andrea Sent on 08/19/2018If you want a magical, fairy tale wedding that looks like it was tucked away in a picturesque courtyard, book at HollyHedge!! It was the first venue we toured, and every other option was strictly compared to how lovely HollyHedge was. In the end, we knew our gut feeling was right, and that we wanted to book our wedding here. The staff there are PROS and Michele is ON TOP of everything! She will also give you her honest opinions in order to save you money and provide a memorable experience for you and your guests.
During the planning process, we never had to feel frazzled about the elements handled by HollyHedge. Michele and Meredith made us feel at ease and helped with our decisions. Not only is HollyHedge the venue, but they also handle catering and desserts. The appetizers were delicious, and I loved the variety. We ended up serving filet mignon, duck breast, salmon en croute, and a vegan option. And wow the cake! Half of our tiers were earl grey tea cake with strawberry mousse, and the other half was lavender cake with lemon mousse. We received so many compliments on the unique flavors.
As for the event itself, we had a morning storm, a downed tree and power outages to deal with all before the event. The HollyHedge team worked hard to keep things running smoothly, and by the time of the ceremony, you would have no idea that anything went wrong. We didn't worry about a single detail once the ceremony started. I got to keep the ceremony outside, and I can't rave enough about the natural beauty that surrounds their courtyard. The vines, trees and other greenery provided a stunning, romantic background for our wedding, and the photos looked amazing! Many, many thanks to HollyHedge for our dream wedding!! -

My husband and I are so thrilled with how our entire wedding day turned out and ultimately the entire wedding planning process - all thanks to Holly Hedge Estate!
Key, Michele, and Katie were all amazing to work with and made sure our day was exactly how we envisioned! We couldn't have asked for a better team to be with us by our side every step of the way.
Also, Gabbi and Judy (the Innkeepers) made sure that all of our guests were taken care of from the time they arrived at Holly Hedge as well as the 1740 House through their departure.
Our guests cannot stop raving about the food, decor, atmosphere, and staff friendliness - the list goes on and on!
We are forever grateful to the team at Holly Hedge Estate for making our most special day so memorable.

Christine Sent on 10/18/2017My family and I can't stop raving about Hollyhedge. This is honestly the perfect wedding venue. My groom and I had a great time planning with Michelle and Key. Not only are they professional, they're incredibly nice and fun to be around. Everything about the place is gorgeous. The food is absolutely incredible. Our cake tasted amazing and it looked stunning. There's a bridal suite for the bridal party to use all day the day of. They even packaged up our cake and leftovers and had them in the honeymoon fridge. You just won't get that kind of service elsewhere. Thank you to everyone at Hollyhedge!!

Courtney Sent on 02/12/2017We got married this past November at HollyHedge Estate and they truly made it a day we will never forget! From the moment my now husband, mother, and I stepped foot on the property, it felt like we were worlds away. The grounds were stunningly beautiful and we knew it would be the perfect romantic and laid back setting for our wedding. We worked a lot with Key, Gabbi and Michele leading up to the wedding to finalize all of the various details and they really went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Very organized and genuine people. On the day of the wedding, one of their incredible team members, Tim, stepped in last minute to be our officiant when ours failed to show up on time. Tim totally blew us away - our family and friends still rave about him and I'm actually glad he was the one that officiated our wedding instead of the other guy! Could have been a total nightmare, but the HollyHedge team really took care of us.
A big thanks to Beth who also helped us coordinate the day of. She was also super sweet, caring, and genuine and made us all feel comfortable and relaxed. We knew we were in good hands with this team!

Our entire wedding day felt so completely surreal - our guests kept saying it was like a movie wedding - all due to the quality of service as well as the beautiful grounds at HollyHedge. With its stonework and lush gardens, the estate provided a gorgeous backdrop to our October wedding; we almost felt like we were in the English countryside at times. We held both our ceremony and reception on-site, which really is the way to do it. The courtyard is so pretty and it's unbelievable how quickly and seamlessly the staff at HollyHedge can transition the area from ceremony to cocktail hour. During the wedding, we loved how guests could navigate from the courtyard to the Old Barn to the reception area to the fire pits -- providing plenty of changes in scenery and things to do. While our first tasting had been a little lackluster, the food at our wedding was delicious and in solid portion sizes. I still have dreams about the bacon-wrapped scallop and our best man hasn't stopped talking about his steak nearly two months later. In addition to having the ceremony and reception on-site, our guests occupied the attached inn -- making everything incredibly convenient and homey. Leading up to the wedding, we worked mostly with Michele and then Key managed our wedding day. They basically feel like family to us now. We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at HollyHedge Estate. Even as it was happening, we were in complete awe over how perfect everything turned out and how well the staff executed it all. First, we chose HollyHedge because it really hit every mark for us -- not only is it breathtakingly beautiful and rich in history, but the staff there is a perfect balance between being super friendly, calm and laid back but also incredibly organized, attentive and professional. They took great care of my husband, Mikey, and I, and I like to think we became fast friends.
Coming from Manhattan, we decided we wanted a space that would make us and our guests feel like they had retreated from the outside world – we wanted it to feel private, peaceful and welcoming. HollyHedge offers both luxurious and lush outdoor space but also lovely, rustic indoor space so your guests can enjoy it all. It also provided us with comfortable accommodations for the night of the wedding with our entire family and wedding party.
We worked directly with Michele and Key for about a year and half before the big day. We love them so much. I can't say enough about them. They were honest with us every step of the way and helped us make all the difficult decisions (and were the most patient human beings on the planet when they would sit and watch my mom and I disagree and bicker during the anxious moments leading up to the event). Our wedding was perfect in every way. Our guests continue to bring up every little detail to this day. Thank you again for everything. We can't wait to come back and visit. -

It was different from most other venues we'd been to, and it gave us the opportunity to have somewhere where we could do everything- getting ready, pictures, ceremony, reception, after party, and staying overnight! Throughout the whole planning process, Liz, Key and Michele (the event coordinators) were so helpful! I would randomly email them questions and they would always get back to me quickly and help however they could. Our wedding was now two weeks ago and I can't get over how great it was. They were on top of every single detail and made sure everything went smoothly. The service was unbelievable. The staff was attentive and made sure no one was wanting for anything the entire day. We also had a few elderly and handicapped guests, and the staff made sure that they were able to get around easily without anyone having to ask them (they were even waiting with a golf cart to escort guests to the reception from the ceremony area!) I am so glad that we chose this venue, our wedding day was amazing! We've gotten many compliments on the beautiful venue, excellent food, and impeccable service!HollyHedge Estate's reply:

Lauren Sent on 10/23/2013The first time I walked onto HollyHedge's property, I knew that was where I wanted to get married and when I brought my fiance back, he felt the exact same way. It was everything we were looking for - from the romantic, outdoorsy feel to the rustic barn and reception hall. The fact that it included all the linens, the food, the alcohol, AND the cake made it that much more appealing to everyone. From the time we booked which was April 2012 until the wedding (October 2013), I emailed the coordinators what felt like a million times and always received prompt replies and friendly emails back from them. Wendy, Liz, and Sara are all amazing and were so wonderful to work with the whole way through!
A menu tasting was set up by the venue in February 2013 where we got to sample what was going to be offered at the cocktail hour and at dinner. This was when we found out how delicious all of the food was! Seriously, some of the best food I ever tasted. The coordinators worked with my husband and I to create the best menu ever for our wedding day - lots of fall foods like a mashed potato bar, pumpkin soup and a pumpkin wedding cake (that was to die for!)
Wedding day! Oh my gosh our wedding day was straight out of a fairytale. Everything about our day was absolutely perfect. The first time I went and looked at the courtyard, not even completely done yet, I got tears in my eyes at how beautiful everything looked all put together. The reception hall looked even more gorgeous. The coordinators made sure we ate and had something to drink at all times and made us feel super VIP. Our guests are still raving about the food and the venue! If you want to have a fairytale dream wedding come to life, I highly recommend getting married at HH. We went a little over our budget, but it was worth every single penny for our dream wedding to come true. I cannot stress enough how fabulous the staff at HH and how my wedding day was so much better than I could have imagined!
