Holiday Bakery provided us with the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake either of us have ever seen or tasted!!! Their cake tasting process was simple and awesome. We were able to pick up the batters we wanted to try and sample them with different fillings. Once we were decided on our flavors we were able to place our order and pay over the phone. We worked with Emily and she was so pleasant and able to answer all of our questions. She ended up making us three different proposals and broke down the cost for each service so we knew exactly what we were paying for. We sent her cake inspo pictures, let her know of our vision, and they ran with it! We dropped off the silk flowers for them to use on the cake, and we were so pleased with the result! It was beautifully vintage, which is exactly what we had hoped for!! At our request they also did a thicker ribbon texture on the cake, which they don't normally do she said, and it turned out beautful!! They were very flexible, too! We were undecided about some beading at the border of the cake, but we were able to pay for the cake and decide on the border at a later time, which was so nice! We decided to go with the beading and it turned out beautiful!!! We would recommend them all day long to everyone we know looking for a cake for any celebration - weddings, showers, birthdays, graduations, etc! They were so friendly and pleasant to work with, and affordable! -

Beautiful and delicious wedding cake!!
They were the only bakers I even made an appointment for cake tasting and we booking with them that day. Ellery is the wedding coordinator there and she is soo nice! From the cake tasting to final payment.... she was very attentive every step of the way. She really helped us create the cake exactly how we wanted.
We had two flavors and O.M.G!!! They were soooo delicious! Everyone loved it! Besides the amazing taste, the cake also turned out very beautiful!
I totally reccomend Holiday Market! -

Holiday Market provided our appetizers and they were all delicious! The communication leading up to the event was great and they were very accommodating with making changes to our order as we locked in our guest count too! -

We got our wedding cake and cupcakes for our 250 guest wedding, and everything turned out great! They were very cost friendly compared to other bakeries, and super responsive if I had any questions. The cupcakes and cake tasted delicious and we got a lot of compliments on how great our cake looked. I would recommend Holiday Market! -

They did our wedding cake and groom's cake! Both were amazing and well exceeded our expectations! They are so talented there! The young lady who handles the wedding cake order is lovely, her name is Leann. She is extremely helpful. My only possible complaint, is that we did different flavors in each layer, and two of the layers were supposed to have fresh raspberry and I think it was like "raspberry jam type" filling instead in one of the layers by mistake. But overall the are incredible and they can literally create whatever you dream up!!! They did a custom monogram on ours that was designed by Tiffany and Co. I was blown away with how it turned out and how awesome the custom groom's cake turned out! They are not cheap, but not over priced and totally worth every dollar. Their tasting process is fun too! :) -

We have gotten cakes from here for birthdays and holidays, so after reaching out to my initial choice of bakery and getting no response I decided to try Holiday Market. I am so glad I made the decision to do so, this place is extremely professional and you can peek into their bakery and see how clean and well put together everything is. Their bakery staff is huge and they are all amazing at what they do. I worked with Leanne and I showed her a pinterest idea of what I wanted for our rustic wedding and the cake turned out absolutely perfect. They offer so many different cake batters and filling choices, not to mention the cake still tasted great even a week later. It was still soft and tasted fresh, I know that if I had gotten it anywhere else it would have been stale after a few days if not properly stored. The tasting with Leanne was very informative and she did not pressure us into any decisions. I just loved our experience with this place. You get a free cake on your one year anniversary, so I cannot wait for that!

After the shower, so many people said they couldn't wait for our cake because of how amazing they were! My best friend used Holiday for her wedding cake as well, and I can say it about both her wedding and mine that it is the BEST wedding cake you will ever eat. We were able to get 4 different flavors and the design on the cake was absolutely stunning! -

Shonda Sent on 09/04/2012Holiday Market was highly recommended by our wedding vendor (Tapestry Banquet Hall) because, according to them, the cakes are made fresh the day of your event, not placed in a freezer for a day or two before. I discussed with Diane the type of cake we wanted over the phone & scheduled a tasting with Kara for the next day. Kara told us that there was nothing scheduled for that day. Off to a bad start but when she checked the freezer, the cake samples were in there with our names. I guess Diane had forgotten to write it in the schedule book.
Kara presented us with 3 mini cakes to taste. We tasted yellow cake with butter cream frosting and strawberry in the middle, yellow cake with butter cream frosting and mocha in the middle and red velvet cake. All three were very good and moist. My hard to please husband, actually was saying "MMM" after tasting each piece. Since we had a small wedding of 60 people, Kara suggested a two tier cake. We looked through books and the prices were quite scary. We agreed on a two tier cake with pink & white flowers on the top, and bow ties all around each tier. Since each sample we tasted was so good, we decided to have ALL three flavors in our wedding cake. The smaller top tier was red velvet, the larger bottom tier was yellow cake with half strawberry and half mocha. We spent 196.00 on the cake. We wanted to have the cake delivered but was told it was 60.00. That sounded outrageous considering Royal Oak (the bakery location) and Southfield (the location of our venue) are not far apart. We opted to pick the cake up ourselves. However, after taking a sample of our color (rose petal) to the bakery, we inquired about delivery and were told it is 20.00 for a two tier cake. I guess the 60.00 price was misquoted, we added delivery. The cake was beautiful, guests could not believe it was real. The taste was divine. Most guests wanted a second piece. After the wedding, the cake was still the RAVE! Highly Recommended. -

Delicious wedding cake!
We ordered an almond wedding cake with strawberry mousse filling for our wedding and loved it! We received so many compliments on how delicious the cake was! We chose a simple decoration for the display cake, and ordered 2 sheet cakes for serving purposes. The cake was moist and not at all dense or dry. I have ordered many cakes from holiday in the past and they always turn out amazing! -

Working with the Holiday Market dessert team (Ellery Cruz in particular) was a real game changer! Not only were we able to order our DELICIOUS wedding cake from them, but that majority of desserts for our all dessert reception came from them as well! Everything, everything, looked and tasted delicious. Our one regret is that we didn't ask to have a little of everything set aside for the two of us so we could enjoy it as much as our guests. We totally forsee ordering a smaller version of our wedding cake on future anniversaries. It's just that good. -

We got a lot of compliments on how good our cake and cupcakes tasted for our wedding. People were asking where it was from and we didn’t have any leftovers at the end of the night. I did have some difficulty reaching the cake designer as the day our final order was due I called once an hour over 4 hours before finally getting a call back. The day of our wedding they showed up a bit late where our coordinator had to call them to make sure they were coming since it was a few minutes before the end of the 2 hour delivery period and the cake still wasn’t there with the ceremony starting 45 minutes later. I also was bummed that they put the ends of our ribbon on the cake in the front of the cake so all of or cake pictures you can see the ends of the ribbon. I wish they had put the cake topper and flowers on the other side where you didn’t see the ribbon ends. It was very tasty though and held up nicely. -
