Wonderfully thrilled!
I asked friends for their photographer recommendations, and Casandra’s name came up twice. Her packages were flexible and we found one that worked for our intimate wedding. Casandra was on time, professional, and wonderfully accommodating to our wishes. She was SO patient when little ones wanted to be involved in everything she was doing! I was able to get a few photos so I could put together a social media post, and then our highlight gallery came a few weeks later. We just got the rest of our pictures, and they are everything we hoped they would be. The compliments on them are non-stop! We are so in love with them, and thrilled with the beautiful job Casandra did. Highly recommend! -

LOVED working with this photographer, very talented and beautiful personality. My wedding photos turned out amazing, there was a couple of rough patches on my wedding day and she was definitely not afraid to jump in and say something. I can’t wait to hang some of these in my house! I can’t recommend her enough! 10/10 approved!! -

Cassandra was such a delight from the first response of my inquiry all the way up to this day. She was prompt, responsive and helpful. I had never had a professional photo shoot since senior high. She was so patient with all my questions and helped me and my now husband every step of the way. She even made us a timeline and always had good feed back and suggestions. She carries herself well and when we met at our engagement photos we clicked instantly and we knew she was the perfect person for the job. Our wedding photos came out gorgeous. Her prices are beyond reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. My family and friends raved how awesome she was and fit right in to our family. I honestly barely knew she was there more of the day ! I recommend her to everyone i know. She is our photographer for life. Thank you Cassandra for capturing our special day so perfectly! -

Cassandra was so wonderful to work with. She helped plan our timeline for the day since we didn’t have a wedding planner, was super responsive during the planning process and what we wanted our vision to be. On the day of, she was on time and took all the photos we wanted in a couple different places. It was everything we could have asked for and more! My husband and I would recommend her in a heartbeat! -

Her efficient but laid back personality ensured that our wishes were a priority, and she was such a joy to have around on our wedding day. From helping us plan our timeline to giving me the hair tie off of her own head in a moment of need, she truly went out of her way to help us have the best day ever. The perfect photographer!
Casandra was amazing to work with. She eased our minds and nerves right off the bat at the engagement session. My husband definitely felt awkward at first taking pictures but she definitely got us laughing and being ourselves in the first 10 minutes. Her attention to detail in every photo and her drive to showcase our story was more than we could have asked for. She recommended people for us to contact for other vendors when we asked and help us plan a schedule for the day. Those tasks in between taking photos and editing were extremely helpful and honestly took stress of my back. She even was so thoughtful and sent us two gifts that had items we used on our wedding day and fun photos we have up in our house already! We got so many comments on both our engagement photos and our wedding photos right when they were posted on social media. The quality of the photos and the care she takes on each is incomparable. We would recommend her to anyone we saw and will hopefully be able to continue to utilize her services as we grow our family. It was wonderful having someone local and able to connect with us. We loved having her as our photographer and honestly were so happy we were able to obtain her for our wedding! -

Huge shout out to Carli for being a part of our engagement photos and our wedding day! She did an amazing job at capturing our personalities and all our special moments on our big day. She is very personable and fun loving which made being photographed feel natural. She laughed along with us and gave us suggestions as to what to talk about while being photographed which made the photos genuine. She has such a great ability and skill to move us around the setting we were in and capture the beautiful views around us. Not only did we have a great time with Carli, our wedding party and families made numerous comments on how great she was!
Our two favorite photos from our engagement session and our wedding day are great examples of how Carli captured us in the moment and beauty surrounding us.

Casandra was one of our best decisions we made for photography for our wedding day! I had seen previous work and I was also recommended by my old friend/co-worker. Casandra exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. She was easy to talk go, made us feel comfortable, and had creative ideas for pictures! I was a bride planning a wedding from out of state, but Casandra was great with communication and answering my questions. I absolutely LOVE our wedding pictures, it brings me back to our entire day. The best wedding decision we made!
We could not have asked for a better photographer than Sandra and Holen Photography for our big day. The pictures are absolutely incredible and capture us perfectly. Sandra was extremely kind, easy to work with, and genuine which made us really comfortable through our engagement and wedding pictures. The moments she captured blew us away and we can’t imagine the day (or our lifetime memories through pictures) without her. -

We love Casandra so much. My husband and I are actually pretty horrible at taking photos but she just made us feel so comfortable and allowed us to be our true selves. We could not have picked a better photographer. Our engagement photos were done in November so it was cold! Casandra was so sweet about making sure we stayed warm and that our photos would be done quickly. The photos turned out stunning. She edits her photos in such a classy yet modern way. Her skills are phenomenal and she is the coolest as well! Casandra makes taking pictures easy and enjoyable! She is such an easy going gal and that helped me as the bride! She also was so helpful from helping with steaming my dress to assisting with my ripped bustle. I am already looking forward to the next time we can book her for a shoot. -

The only word to accurately describe working with Holen Photography is, "WOW!"
As a COVID bride, I was faced with so much unpredictability and was forced to make changes seemingly every day. My now husband and I knew we wanted to keep our date even if it meant a complete 180 from the wedding we had spent 13 months planning. Sandra was there every step of the way, through every question, every uncertainty and every change just ready to photograph the greatest day of our lives. If I wasn't reaching out to her, she was checking in on me.
Our day wasn't what we originally planned but it was BETTER and Sandra captured every detail and every moment. She even drove me off-road through a ditch to get me to my venue to get dressed when I was running behind. She made photos fun for everyone involved and we have amazing memories to last us a lifetime. I couldn't be happier with what she was able to capture and she even threw in some surprises.
We can't wait to see Sandra again for the next phases of our lives as we grow our family. She's truly one in a million! -

Casandra is so easy to work with and so personable! She really captures you in the moment while including natural light to her photos. Her photos are stunning and she really took the time and effort to make sure we got every photo we wanted. She also took our engagement photos and made us feel so comfortable and captured all the emotions! She was such a big help on wedding day and understood exactly what we wanted to make our day perfect! She traveled to Green Bay with us and took us all around to our favorite spots around Lambeau! Could not be happier!
From the moment we started planning our wedding my priority was an amazing photographer and HOLY S#*! did I find one! Casandra was a blast to work with and we could not be happier with our experience.
First and foremost she was always quick to answer emails and any questions from the moment we made an inquiry to the day before the wedding.
When we met her for the first time at our engagement session Tim and I were feeling very awkward about about getting cozy in front of a stranger with a camera. But within a few minutes any and all anxiety melted away. Casandra was generally interested in getting to know the two of us and our relationship. It was very sweet and made our session so much fun.
On the big day Casandra was an amazing balance of professional, (keeping us on schedule, wrangling some rowdy groomsmen, making our infant nephew laugh and smile for photos, helping with my bustle, etc.) and hilariously fun (having the groomsmen race for a beer, putting up with the best man stealing her stool, capturing a photo of our Bob Ross cut out lol)
Finally I will wrap this up by saying we selected the package that included a second shooter...HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We have so many beautiful pictures of the day from different perspectives.

Booking Holen Photography was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding!! I cannot say enough good things about Casandra!! Our photographer was one of the first vendors we booked (even before our venue) because I knew that having a reliable and talented photographer to capture the emotion and beauty of the day was so essential. Casandra is truly so amazing to work with and has such a good eye for capturing the raw emotions, the love, the candids, and everything else in between. We got to know Casandra over the year before our wedding and she is so, so sweet, fun, easy-going, and genuine! She's also so easy to talk to and get along with, and makes you feel comfortable right away. When my fiancé and I took engagement photos with Casandra, it was our first time taking professional photos, so we were both a little nervous and didn't know what to expect; but right off the bat, she made us feel right at ease and the session was so much fun! After that, I knew the wedding day was going to be perfect, and it was that and so much more. Our day was beyond magical, and Cassandra had a huge part in making it the best! She was able to capture all of the most meaningful and best parts of our day, from getting ready to partying the night away with our friends and family. Both our friends and family could not stop raving about how amazing and fun Casandra was, as well as professional and personable. She got our wedding gallery back to us in 3 short weeks, and I cried happy tears looking through all of them! I seriously find a new favorite everytime I look at them. I would 1000% recommend Holen Photography as your wedding photographer, or photographer in general. She's reliable, easy to get a hold of, and always goes above and beyond. I cannot be happier with choosing Holen Photography for our wedding!! Casandra has such an amazing eye and our photos turned out so beautifully!!! These photos are a time stamp of our special day and we will cherish these moments forever!! Casandra went above and beyond to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. I had requested to do two outfits for our engagement photos but then we ended up getting lost and were late to our engagement session cutting it short due to the sun setting - Casandra went above and beyond and offered to reshoot our second outfit which we ended up doing at the wine bar in which we got engaged! She did not need to offer that second shoot and it speaks volumes of the amazing, kind person she is!! We also got our photos back less than three weeks after our wedding which was so incredibly fast and appreciated immensely by this bride!! -

I don't even know where to begin about my picture perfect (pun intended) experience with Holen Photography!! Absolutely stunning!
We loved working with Casandra for our engagement session and our wedding. our friends and family are constantly complimenting the photos we've shared. she did a great job of capturing the emotion of the big day, and everyone (including the kiddos) felt so comfortable with her behind the camera. So many of these photos (a portrait of the whole family, the groomsmen nearly dropping my husband in the snow, and my flower girl spinning around in her dress full of pure joy to name a few) are moments I am so glad we have captured. These moments are all the more beautiful because Casandra was the one who captured them. -

Holen Photography has photographed my daughter's 1st birthday, family mini sessions, engagement pictures, and wedding and I will NEVER use another photographer again! I could not have imagined anyone else doing our photography... Holen Photography is beyond phenomenal. Casandra was our photographer for multiple occasions now (daughter's first birthday, engagement photos, wedding). She does AMAZING work. Our wedding party was huge - 26 people - and she handled everyone so well. She kept us on track so we didn't spend our whole afternoon doing pictures. We got our pictures back in 2-3 weeks and every single one we loved. We received so many compliments and a lot of people asked who did our photos because they loved them so much. I met the holens when they came to visit the small town of Hatfield. They were the most friendly family I have met! And we quickly became friends. Even before me and my now husband were engaged we always said we wanted to holens, not just because they were friends but because they were amazingly talented! I'm so happy we were able to book Casandra for our wedding! Our pictures (along with our engagement photos) could not have turned out better. We booked her about 1.5 years in advance and she was super responsive and helpful during the whole planning process. She was also super easy-going, which made us more comfortable in front of the camera and none of our pictures look super "posed". I would recommend her to anyone! -

She is so kind, easy going and flexible! I felt like she just... got me.. as a bride. I have a huge family and wedding party and the pictures went so fast! She captured us so perfectly. We actually received many compliments about Cassandra and how she knew every angle to capture and also how sweet she was. We just received our wedding photos yesterday and I literally cried in Starbucks looking at the first few photos. She captured our emotions and feelings so well. She is super easy to talk to, and you can tell she loves what she does. We did our engagement pictures about a year before the wedding which helped both my fiance and I learn how to be comfortable in front of our camera. We were so efficient getting our wedding pictures done, which I didn't know it was possible. We got our pictures back yesterday, and I find a new favorite every time I look at them!

I used Holen Photography for my May 2018 wedding and was so happy with how she took charge and led the photos (and videographer). She was able to capture our day perfectly and stuck to the schedule, somehow managing to wrangle our entire bridal party and family while getting all the posed pictures done before the ceremony. She picked the most beautiful spots on the property and the photos turned out spectacularly!! She was also very timely at returning our completely photos to us. I also used her for our engagement shoot and she fit us in to her extremely busy schedule for a mini shoot for our old dog that was dying of cancer. She has a customer forever! If I could give her 10 stars I would! Do not look further than Holen Photography for your photo needs!! -

Then they both made taking our first look and wedding party photos quick and effortless. She always made sure my dress and hair were perfectly placed and she knew the exact shots she wanted. We haven't got our photos back from the wedding yet, but I'm sure they will be just as good, if not exceptionally more stunning than our engagement shoot. She also nailed that and really captured our love! She was amazing at responding to my emails promptly and she picked our engagement shoot location and came up with an entire photoshoot timeline for the wedding day. She was awesome to work with and I'm glad we found her!

She gave us our day of timeline and was incredibly prompt in replying to my many questions. She was amazing with the kids, really caught our loved one's personalities, and made me feel so beautiful! We ended up running majorly behind, and Casandra made everything work anyway!
We ended up having to fire our first DJ, and she came in clutch with MKE Sound! It was the best day we could have asked for. Thank you so much, Casandra, for making all of our wedding dreams come true! We've already discussed using Holen Photography for future family shoots! You will NOT be disappointed by the level of service she provides! -

After coming across Holen photographys page I immediately fell in love with her style, and knew she was perfect for us. Casandra is so laid back, sweet, and talented. We also love the fact she's an "in the moment" photographer and really captures the beauty in a moment and avoids the awkward staged feel. When we had our engagement pictures you can tell she had an eye for the perfect photo. Even though getting your picture taken can feel awkward, she made the whole experience easy and fun! We took advantage of the package deal with MKE Sound for our DJ and I'm blown away at the deal we got for the skill level thay they both are. Seriously feel like we hit the wedding jackpot. HIGHLY highly recommend!
